Worst waffle ever. Kept warm inside a closed oven, not re-heated with the iron. Soggy, sugary crap. Straight to the bin. The salted caramel sauce was also store bought and horrible. Business like these cater only to tourists who won’t return.

The shop is open, who reported it closed?!

The poffertjes and crepe seemed unbaked on the inside. They tasted very elastic. Not tasty, and the seating area was very warm. Not pleasant to sit inside. A real shame.

I saw lots of good reviews on Google, so we went there straight away during our day in Amsterdam. Disappointed, we went in at 3 p.m., the screens were all off, we didn't know the prices or the flavors. The man was extremely abrupt, didn't try to understand what we wanted (pretended not to understand "black chocolate" 🙄, sir, we don't all speak English). He didn't answer our question about the prices. In the end, 25 euros for 3 disgusting waffles, the batter was almost undercooked, the chocolate on top was really awful, very runny and super sweet, and he also added powdered sugar as if it wasn't sweet enough.

I've been here twice before and had such a wonderful experience. I had friends visiting from out of town and took them and their kids to get dessert here. The server said the TV menu screens weren't working. He couldn't be bothered to do his job. He didn't explain or ask what people wanted on their waffles or crepes. When I asked him to explain the toppings people could have because the screens weren't showing the toppings, he pounded his fist and and complained that he couldn't because he would have to re-enter the order. Which was his fault for trying to do the bare minimum. Then he refused to add our toppings because some people showed up behind us. We had a group of seven and were the only ones in the store initially. Clearly he didn't want to be working this evening. We ended up leaving without ordering.

Service déplorable, qualité des glaces moyenne. Les clients d'avant nous on renoncé tellement le type était déplaisant, nous on est resté mais s'était vraiment border line.

I give them 1 star because I can give them 0, it was super hot and smelly in a place where you should be fresh and good. Do not go, anyother ice cream shop in that street is better

Neither our waffles nor those of the people sitting next to us were anywhere near... a hair in the food, shabby furnishings and completely overpriced. Never !

13€ for medium churros with nutella, which were rock hard and burnt, served on a paper plate... And the TVs with the menu were turned off, so they can overcharge you... Avoid!

Die Waffel wird hier frisch zubereitet, das hat aber auch seinen Preis. 10€ für eine Waffel mit Nutella und Erdbeeren. War aber trotzdem lecker.

Below average I got mini pancakes and waffles

Screens were broken in store so no menu was available to order so we just had to go freestyle and order what we thought would go together. Store was surprisingly dirty and with refuse and plates left over from other diners… surprised given the positive reviews of other reviews. It’s very hard to give a review based on anything other than our less than perfect visit…

Je ne comprends pas les bonnes notes de 4,5 et j'ai fait confiance aux avis. Personnage antipathique qui ne doit pas aimer les étrangers. Petite salle pour manger sur place délabrée et sale. 10,50€ la petite gaufre nutella chantilly d'un goût sans plus. Si vous voulez goûter, surtout prenez à emporter ne vous arrêtez pas.

Delicious waffles! Freshly made on demand! Not particularly cheap, prices can add up quick if you are not careful with the toppings but you get super big portions and tasty!

Je suis venue hier en couple pour prendre une crêpe au nutella. Deja ils n'y a pas de service mais en plus il crie pour nous prévenir. Mais le pire c'était que mon nutella était clairement coupé avec de la pâte à tartiner.

très bonnes crêpes, pour un prix raisonnable, c'est un changement de propriétaire et la nouvelle décoration ne me plait pas trop (des tags sur les murs), pas de cartes ni d'affiches avec ce qui est possible de commander, dommage, sinon très bien, je recommande

We tried the double waffle. It's the best one ever, and very big!. It's delicious, and it came in a very good presentation, with fire works!

We had a waffle and a hot chocolate and it was delicious!! The waitress was super nice and fast.

Unlike other places they make everything on the spot so its always fresh and hot. Best waffle n pancakes.

We had a DIY poffertjes and the man serving us had impeccable service! He shared with us which unique toppings he recommended and they were indeed good!!! We also went during World Cup season and got to know the owner owned the bar beside so we could enjoy our poffertjes and watch the soccer match

They didn't have coffee and prices on the board was different than what I paid. But it was tasty.

Oldest waffles place in Amsterdam just on point! I orders the fruity waffle with ice cream scoop and kinder chocolate chip 🤤🤤🤤🤤 it’s just wow!!! Their coffee is super as well! I recommend as best waffles place in AMS♥️

Hatten dort eine individuell gestaltete Waffel und Crepes. Schmeckte wirklich gut! Nur Preislich etwas höher! Ansonnsten schöne Location!

Nette Bedienung. Einfaches System zu bestellen. Riesen Auswahl. Die Churros waren zu dünn und zu durchgebacken. Deshalb etwas zu trocken. Darum ein Punkt Abzug.

One of the best waffles I've ever had everything was so fresh and tasty the portions are great and they said they make these waffles with "love" [how sweet is that] and I believe them because of the way they treat their customers the gentleman behind the register was very accommodating and attentive he took his time to explain everything (i know everything was obviously on a board right behind him) and he also took a picture of my waffles for me (the level of customer service!!). The packaging was great (walked 40 minuets in wind with it and still looked great) I would've given them 10 out of 5 if I could highly recommend and I'd definitely be back.

The service was good, and the Red Light District Churros were very yummy! We really enjoyed them. They also happen to have a bathroom and won't charge you extra for it! Definitely recommend it!
