Swieti sranang in Jordaan

Came here yesterday with my boyfriend and we both loved our meals! I had white rice with a mix of cabbage, green beans, carrots and soy chicken and he had the noodles. Great service from a lovely lady! Will definitely be back.

Came here on a food tour. Had the chicken satay skewers and chips. Delicious 😋 friendly older gentleman attended to our group. Heading back to this restaurant to grab an easy meal to take away to a park.

Never had Surinaams food before but it was delicious. This is a good place for take out food, especially if you want to try something new.

I got an excellent takeaway with rice, 3 different vegetables, spicy fish curry and tempe for €10. Tasty, filling and heated up very hot in the microwave.

Wonderful gentelman behind the desk! The food is great and for a very nice price! The broodje met kip was LEKKER!

Not all ingredients are always fresh. My last veg roti with tempeh and egg gave me diarrhea...so I will skip Swietie Sranang from now on, unfortunately. Nice people and good service, that's for sure.

We came across this place by accident, walking in the Jordaan area. I didn't want to eat sandwiches, chips or pizzas and wanted something more substantial which this was perfect for. I chose some Suriname snacks - which were great and then, on the recommendation of my mate who chose various things, I decided to have nasi goreng with chicken, vegetables and meatballs. It tasted great and the only downside being central Amsterdam prices and only the bench outside to sit on. The lady serving food was very friendly and interesting to talk to.

Delicious, we ordered chicken curry, Chinese noodles and cabbage, it was exquisite and perfectly suited for two people, for 13 euros. 100% recommendable.

Tasty food and good size portions! The price is within range for the region (expensive Amsterdam downtown). There's no table for you to dine-in, unless you eat standing or on the bench outside it should be mainly Take-away place. The service from the lady was also very helpful.

De roti kip is top. Goed gekruid en schappelijke prijs.

Heerlijke roti gegeten. Mag wat meer groente maar dat is persoonlijk. Samosa was ook erg lekker. De Bakbana was mij te droog en met een te dikke buitenlaag. Pindasaus was wel erg lekker. Aanrader. Omdat ik geen 4,5 ster kan geven 5 sterren, 4 vind ik echt te weinig.
