When I'm craving Chinese food, there's only one that meets my requirements... Switie!!! Surinamese Chinese. Delicious, delicious!!

Picked up a chicken curry sandwich, not worth repeating The people working there are nice, but the sandwich really wasn't good.

The food at Switie was really Switie: that means tasty in Surinamese ☝️🥳

Perfect for picking up a sandwich. It doesn't operate on 'Dutch turbo' mode (as expected), but everything we order tastes well above the standard.

Lovely Chinese food, huge portions for a reasonable price, very friendly staff. Great location if you’re travelling on the A6.

Always super delicious food at Switie The staff is polite, attentive, and takes their time with you, even if you arrive 10 minutes before closing time. They could really use a bit more business. It is always so quiet. The food is super good

We had a delicious meal for two and spent less than €40 including drinks.

I've never been so sick of a bakkeljauw sandwich. Not only am I skipping this place, but I don't need a bakkeljauw sandwich for a while.

Switie is getting bigger and bigger. The quality of the food is and remains good. Also for a light snack.

Yesterday I ordered a chicken and egg roti, among other things. The egg was almost black inside. The chicken wasn't tender, but tough. The sauce tasted like colored water. I was incredibly sick all night. I threw up several times, and I have terrible stomach pain right now. I wouldn't be surprised if I got food poisoning. The food arrived within 20 minutes, even though it's a 15-minute drive. So it can't have been very fresh. Maybe microwaved? Definitely the last time I order anything from here.

What a disgusting, ballyhooed place, I've never been so sick. I ordered roti and had chunks of chicken with it, completely full of bones. The chicken wasn't cooked or didn't taste good at all. It was really inedible. Shortly after eating, I felt really sick and I was vomiting all evening. If you want food poisoning, you should definitely order food from here. Never, ever again for me.

The beef wok has very very little amount of beef unfortunately also barely any veggies were added to the dish. The sauce is ok.

I regularly go to Sweetie, but unfortunately, the quality is deteriorating. I really don't recommend the saoto soup: it tastes almost like nothing, and you have to search carefully for the chicken pieces, and even then, you'll hardly find any. For good saoto, in my opinion, you should go to a real Javanese-Surinamese restaurant, not a Chinese restaurant. I also often get the Tjauwmin special here, but even there, it's noticeable that the amount of meat is getting smaller and smaller. That's a real shame, because the dish itself is fine, but the portions are noticeably smaller. The bacon is still very tasty; that's actually the most consistent part, in my opinion.

Ordered a vegetable spring roll (it was just one from the supermarket freezer). The spring roll wasn't fresh, too many pieces of meat were cut too coarsely, which made it tasteless, and the sauce wasn't good. Price-quality ratio is off, way too expensive.

We had a delicious, real Pom Broodje (sandwich) and not a pistoletje (roll). You won't find that in Amersfoort for that price. We'll definitely be back.

Ordered food for 13 and had a delicious meal for a good price!

No atmosphere, but the food was delicious. And unfortunately, the value for money wasn't great, which I'm not used to with Chinese-Surinamese cuisine. So, be sure to fill your containers until the lids are bulging and you have to slam them shut with a suitable amount of force 😂😂😂😂😂

I ordered roasted chicken with nasi goreng, which also comes with black bean sauce. The photo shows the amount I received. After calling, they told me this was the full portion, while two weeks ago I received five times the amount. This is a real shame. I've lost a loyal customer.

I ordered: saoto soup, two bakabana rolls, and one large spring roll. The saoto soup was quite filling, but the flavor wasn't particularly good. It didn't taste like real broth. The bakabana was incredibly crispy and tasted like old grease. The large spring roll, unfortunately, was the only thing I enjoyed. Well-filled, crispy, delicious, and with a good bite. It's a shame I can't find Surinamese cuisine in these two simple dishes.

Sorry, but this really wasn't worth my money. Even the spekkoek wasn't good. I regret ordering it. I'm not Surinamese, and even I can do better.

It's like ordering food from Aliexpress, it's just so bad it doesn't even resemble Surinamese food!

The rice was tasty but the sauto soup was nasty and the cod

The food is delicious. But you get much less meat than before. We were satisfied for years and came back often. But every now and then the food was worse, less fresh, and much less meat. Now we won't be coming back, which is a real shame. And the owner is also less friendly than before; he barely speaks a word. If things are getting worse, you shouldn't take it out on your customers. We ordered for €35, and all you get is nasi goreng and very little meat.

I ordered food here on the recommendation of a family member. We were part of a team. I was embarrassed in front of my teammates and concluded that this family member, besides not being a cook, also has no taste. Nice and tidy shop. Friendly staff. Tjauwmin was the only thing that tasted good that day. The nasi was too salty. The ketjap was too salty. The vegetables were okay. I didn't order the meat, but for the meat eaters on the team: they kept eating all the meat bones, only to later judge that the meat was initially tasty but then bland (these team members had already eaten the meat from our orders, so that's what you get). 3 stars. Room for improvement in the taste experience and quality.

A lovely Surinamese Chinese restaurant. Friendly owner and fast service. The food is excellent, with a selection of Surinamese and Chinese dishes, but they also prepare Dutch dishes for you. Prices are important, and very reasonable with large portions.

Extremely friendly people and delicious food. This time we ordered by phone and picked it up. When we got home, we realized something was missing. A phone call and they brought it right back. Fantastic!

You don't go to Switie for the atmosphere but for the delicious sandwiches and the friendly welcome. Top sandwiches and very friendly priced. We will definitely come back.

Food was not tasty. Service not professional States Surinamese/Chinese but is more like Indian food.

Instead of a Nokia, this time I ordered the bami, nasi, tjauw mien, 2 containers of chicken, fah shong? Tempeh, cod, pom, bacon, sour and sambals separately, but the food was very bad. The bamies taste like nothing. You wonder if there is cod in the cod, the pon tastes very bad and does it contain chicken, the roasted chicken is very threatening and the 2nd container is even burnt. It seems as if what we got was the food from the day before. Very bad and not tasty at all. We were with 8 people and everyone thinks the food is very bad. Normally when I order here, the food is pick-up or order, it is reasonable, but this time far below standard. A shame, but I would advise everyone not to order here. This is a very genuine reaction and I am not a competitor or have other problems with this Warung. However, I only have good experiences for this experience. Until yesterday, June 8, 2025.

This restaurant is one of our favorites in our hometown. Very friendly and customer-friendly owner. Very clean kitchen and very organized staff. Food tastes very good and is served quickly. Definitely recommended to try!

Ordered online 2 large chicken spring rolls ... chicken was nowhere to be found looked like a vegetable spring roll. Strawberry milkshake ... we got a vanilla milkshake ... we don't like this so unfortunately had to throw it away. The meal we ordered tasted good but almost cooled down. 2 containers of satay sauce of which 1 had come loose so that it had leaked over the other packages. In general the taste was good.

No Surinamese cuisine at all. Very disappointing. Got Tjauw min and saoto soup. Tjauw min tastes like nothing, meat is hard. And saoto soup I don't even have words for. Water with curry, bean sprouts and chicken. I threw everything in the trash.

Doesn't even look at me when I say hello. Don't know if I ordered soato or touge soup. That's how much touge I got. Don't expect Surinamese saoto and avoid disappointment. Also that 'chicken' tasted like I was chewing on an eraser. But that's my experience. Nasi was chewable.

Racist. Doesn't even look at me when I say hello or thank you for the food. This man loves white people. Always acts nice and laughs with them. But with foreigners he is always racist. Don't go. Go to Warungmere. Good service and great food. Warungmere in Almere Poort. Or Albina in Amsterdam.

Ordered food online from Switie. The food tasted very good, was fresh, still very warm and complete, right down to the pepper, sweet and sour onions and soy sauce. Delivery was friendly and on time. We plan to order online here more often and probably eat there too

Good fried rice with chicken. Friendly and funny owner. Open kitchen, something you rarely see! Also the possibility to have an ice cream after dinner. Highly recommended!

Ordered Tjauw minus with duck €12 worthless portion with so little duck that it is shameless. It is getting worse and worse but it is becoming more expensive. Never order duck there again.

Ordered Roti Chicken and Lamb...if you are used to Surinamese food and you are served Chinese roti then you are all set. Roti sauce was prepared, plate was thin and bland, no acid, etc. The chicken fillet looked like you see at the Chinese. I say don't get it here.

They are economical with the meat here. The owner may also learn how to provide service to his customers. He brought the food to a couple neatly and said hello and to me he put the bag on the counter and said 'yes' to take the food himself. There was no smile. I had difficulty saying 'bye' after I said goodbye. They don't see me anymore.

Ordered here for the first time because the others where I normally get them are closed on Sundays. Javanese noodles that I am used to are tasteless, spaghetti with soy sauce mixed in. The rest of the menu is not really up to par and does not do the Surinamese/Javanese/Chinese cuisine justice...!

Small portions. Very few vegetables. And the pepper bags are not enough in proportion to the food, too little pepper. I had Nasi with roasted chicken special.

The owner does nice different concepts from Surinamese to Chinese. The food is pretty good but the atmosphere... You eat here for the speed, not for the comfort.

Got 2 moski miti here. I don't know, but it just wasn't anything special. All just not there, hence 3 stars. Girl behind the counter was nice. I miss black sambal anyway. The jelly pepper was not hot.

Picked up nasi, bami, fa chong and baking moksi meti without chicken. The food is delicious and tastes good. Please note that they do not have kilo containers of nasi (like in the many restaurants in the Randstad), which is a shame. That's why I had to buy several smaller containers. Containers of moksi meti were not completely filled, probably due to leaving out the chicken (our own choice), but could have been a little fuller. Bak fa chong was nice in taste. The acid was fine and so was the pepper and vinegar and therefore not extremely hot by our standards. Also picked up 3 sandwiches, 2 with pepper (fa chong) and 1 with chicken liver. We didn't taste any pepper on them, but other than that they were fine sandwiches with a little more toppings. Everything had just been invested. The place looked clean and hygienic and part of the kitchen is visible, so you can see the chefs cooking. Sufficient parking spaces if you come to pick up quickly. Went here for food on the recommendation of a brother-in-law because he had been getting food from the other location for years. All in all, definitely doable. We were in center parcs de Eemhof and from there within 30 minutes and therefore easy to drive to.

I buy food there more often. It's always tasty. But recently something was wrong with the food. I have had stomach ache and diarrhea. Friendly man who works there.

The visit was worth it! Very good food, in a relatively large portion, at an absolutely fair price. The restaurant was clean, we were there on a Thursday evening and had free choice of seating. Parking is available and the service in the restaurant is friendly.

We placed a large order (over €100) as a company. Unfortunately, 3 of the 7 sandwiches were missing, the gentleman on the phone immediately started raising his voice. After saying something about this, the gentleman actually indicated that he did not want to meet us 'because he was standing next to the person who made them and who packed them'. Once but never again! Too bad customer friendliness doesn't really exist here

Order was delivered earlier than stated time. The food was not hot and very small portions, the fried banana was greasy and not tasty! A pity.

Worthless food, nasi and bami with 4 small pieces of meat and sauto with a little bit of filling from me, never need it again and expensive meat with a bad taste. Seemed like old junk.

I have ordered basi goreng with chicken pieces for €7 before. Every time it was just very small pieces of fillet. Now I take 3 containers at a time and there are roasted chicken pieces with dirty skin in them. After calling them the man lied that it is always roasted chicken. Apparently they still had old kio left. Chicken pieces were dirty hard. This was the last time I ever order from them.

On Saturday I had dinner here with my family to celebrate my birthday. We came here for dinner, but we had already made a reservation at 3pm. Upon entering we were greeted nicely, the tables were ready and the restaurant looked neat and clean. Gentleman was very friendly and helpful. Nasi was very tasty, but I didn't like tjaumin. I also ordered bacon and it was quite hard. But a family member, who had also ordered this, had soft bacon again. Parking is available on their own property. They just don't have a lot of space. On a busy day it may be full and then it becomes quite difficult.

Leuk Surinaams-Chinees eettentje. Heerlijke gerechten, prima service. Een eenvoudig eettentje, niet teveel poespas, prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding. En grote porties, en als je het niet op kunt neem je een doggy bag om de rest mee te nemen.

Een mooie restaurant en ook lekker eten natuurlijk. De toiletten konden wat mij betreft wel wat schoner. En de service kon nog wel wat beter. Het was namelijk erg rustig in de zaak alleen er kwam maar geen personeel naar ons toe om ons te helpen. Verder smaakte het eten super goed.

Update: eten is goed bezorging is hard achter uit gegaan. 2 uur moeten wachten op ons eten en als je dan belt na 1,5uur wordt je respectloos door de dame/meisje te woord gestaan. Half uur later weer gebeld was de bestelling nog niet klaar voor de bezorging. Zeer teleurstellend. De bezorger was overigens uitermate vriendelijk. Een je bestelling van te voren moeten betalen dus tja veel keus heb je dan ook niet meer. Ik ga wel op zoek naar een ander Surinaams eethuis. Jaar geleden: Eten was erg lekker. Yum. Onze online bestelling was klaar toen we deze op het afgesproken tijdstip kwamen op halen. De dame achter de balie was klantvriendelijk. Dank jullie wel. Wij gaan vaker bij jullie bestellen.

Vriendelijke mensen, super schone zaak, maar roti was niet bijzonder (flauw van smaak, alleen een dunne saus, ei was niet vers, roti zelf was niet gevuld).

Netjes ingericht. Lekker eten en moksi meti zoals het moet zijn.
