Very disappointing experience – definitely not recommended We paid €85 for two people and have never left a restaurant so dissatisfied. The choice was downright limited and what was there was cold: pizzas, chicken satay, vegetables – all tasteless and unpleasantly lukewarm. In addition, at least 75% of the offer consisted of fried snacks such as fries, chicken nuggets and frikandellen. If you choose an all-you-can-eat concept, you really expect more variety and quality. The experience was made even worse by the behavior of the man of Asian descent who prepared the meat. He was visibly irritated, sighed audibly when an order was placed, and simply did not seem to feel like it. There was even a discussion between him and another guest because he did not keep track of the orders properly. Customer friendliness? It was completely absent. Finally, the sushi bar had been empty for an hour and a half and nothing was replenished. So you are better off enjoying a plate full of fries, because there is plenty of it.

Ummah world kitchen is closing! Hopefully they will make room for a non-religious restaurant where you can just have a beer or wine with your meal. My year is off to a good start!

I used the Niqaab friendly space with my wife and children. It is an all you can eat concept where everything is well replenished (I arrived at 19:30). The service was great. Friendly staff greet you with a smile and really give you time. It is child friendly and the staff is patient with the children. All in all a great experience. To the owner: I understand that you are going to close because of criticism. As a reminder: Your concept works and your employees do their job. Try to please Allah in obtaining your rizq and then people will follow. You will never be able to please people because they are so different and there are annoying customers who will do you injustice. The trick is to keep doing the right thing despite setbacks and to continue. If you are interested you can contact me for possible solutions to continue.

Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a wide variety of dishes. Kids can have fun in the arcade. One of the best international restaurants I've been to. Perfect for a fun evening.

Last Wednesday, on Christmas Day, we went to eat with the family at Ummah Wereldkeuken in Almere-Buiten. What an impressive experience! It is not a small, culinary restaurant, but the large scale and at the same time the great organization made it special. Everything went smoothly, the staff was friendly, and the food was delicious. The fact that I did not have to worry about halal food gave me enormous peace of mind. It is admirable how well Ummah Wereldkeuken manages to serve such a large number of guests without this being at the expense of quality or service. It is therefore incredibly sad to hear that they will be closing their doors soon. The reason makes it extra poignant. Compliments to the entrepreneur for the courage to set up a concept like this. It is heartbreaking that such a valuable initiative has to end in this way. Nevertheless, I would like to thank him for the beautiful experience that we have had as a family and to encourage him. I hope that he continues to believe in the power of the community, despite this disappointment. Ummah Wereldkeuken will be greatly missed. Thank you for your hard work and dedication.

Ummah World Cuisine - Highly recommended! Yesterday we enjoyed a wonderful experience at Ummah Wereld Keuken in Almere Buiten. Everything was right! The food was simply delicious – from the delicious, perfectly seasoned dishes to the surprising combinations that created an explosion of flavors. You can taste the passion and quality in every bite. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. The staff radiated warmth and made us feel immediately welcome. They really took the time to explain everything and gave us excellent recommendations. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The decor exudes a modern, worldly vibe, and the ambiance was just right – not too busy, but lively enough to feel completely at ease. In short, a culinary experience that we heartily recommend to everyone. We will definitely come back! Thank you, Ummah World Kitchen, for an unforgettable evening!

Not worth 1 star. Due to many promising videos on social media, I decided to visit this restaurant today, but it was disappointing in every way. Arrived at 7.30pm and almost all the shelves were almost empty and were not replenished during the evening. After speaking to an employee, she explained that they replenish as little as possible to prevent waste. Just to be clear, this was a Saturday evening! Restaurant with approximately 600 seats!

Sorry we ate here. AFTERWARD I UNDERSTOOD WHY WE HAD TO PAY FIRST. WAS A WASTE OF MY MONEY EVERYTHING TASTED LIKE I HAD DRINK A BOTTLE OF SUNFLOWER OIL. IN SHORT, I GIVE IT A RATING OF 3!

Ummah world kitchen really surprised us, we were hesitant at first because we had read some bad reviews, but we finally tried it and it was surprisingly good! Last year's bad reviews were probably due to some start-up problems, which is of course normal for such a large restaurant, but we increasingly hear that they have made enormous progress and it is really tasty, and of course not literally everything can be completely to your taste since They are not specialized in a specific cuisine, but overall it was definitely worth it and worth repeating. The fish and meat grill, charcoal BBQ, poffertjes and crepe bar and general buffet were favorites and the atmosphere, space and customer service get a big 10. Thank you Ummah world kitchen, we enjoyed it!

After my first visit to this world restaurant, I unfortunately have to conclude that it was far below my expectations. The freshness of the food left much to be desired. The sushi was old and dry, and the meat was tough. The desserts were also disappointing: they were dry and tasted old. It's a shame because I like trying to support these types of concepts. For the price I paid, I expected better quality. Not worth repeating.

Dear people, I have a very bad experience because I went tonight with friends and we had paid in advance for 2 hours, but the kitchen closed half an hour earlier and therefore we could only eat for 1.5 hours. Ridiculous ! You pay for something you don't get! And even though we complained about this, they did not compensate it, so it was a really bad experience for us. So first and last time for us.

What bad service. Had to pay for 2 hours while the kitchen closed 45 minutes earlier. Asked how that was possible. The owner told us to spend the rest of our time at the table... Nice, an all you can eat restaurant. Save yourself the effort and money!

Unfortunately, my visit to Ummah Wereldkeuken was very disappointing. We arrived at 7:30 PM, but at 8:45 PM the kitchen was already closed, while the website states that it is open until 9:30 PM. For the price I expected much more; not a restaurant to repeat.

Everything was good and tasty, it does take a while for your food to be ready. Lots of little kids running around everywhere.

Too bad there was no mashed potatoes with the meat dishes. The rest of the dishes were tasty.

Disappointing experience during my mother's 88th birthday. We had made 4 separate reservations for our group of 20 people, taking advantage of the promotion where the cheapest meal is free for 5 people. Despite ample space in the restaurant, including an empty table for 20 people, the receptionist wanted to spread us out across the restaurant. Her unreasonable attitude and lack of flexibility ruined the atmosphere of our celebration. Although the food was good, this poor reception overshadowed the entire experience. It's a shame that one employee can have such a negative impact on a special occasion. Consider carefully before booking here with a group.

We went here for dinner for my grandmother's 88th birthday. My uncle made a reservation and it was indicated that we would be coming with a large group and would like to sit together. The gentleman who had spoken to my uncle had indicated that this was not a problem and drew my uncle's attention to a promotion that if 4 people pay, a fifth person can eat for free. So that's why my uncle made 4 reservations. We arrived at the restaurant and a lady at the counter indicated that it was not possible for the entire group to sit together, this was only possible if there was 1 reservation and then only 1 person was allowed free. This was not agreed. In the end it ended up being 4 reservations and payments. But the lady behind the counter had become so grumpy that out of anger she would put our entire group in 4 different places in the restaurant. This was really too ridiculous for words! At the end of the day we sat together at 4 tables, but 2 tables were separated by a wall. So we weren't really eating together and it was really sad for my grandma and for us. Because we were treated so unfairly by the lady at the counter, we will never come here again.

Very disappointing experience. They charge the same as the former Breed and Atlantis but offer far fewer options, and the quality has noticeably dropped. The food didn’t look fresh, and there were very limited drink choices. Not worth the price.

Ate for the first time at Ummah, formerly the Breed location, and now I was curious whether the dishes were still comparable and I must say that I was certainly not disappointed because now we had many more options because everything is halal. Teppanyaki was tasty, the only downside is that there was too much garlic, this could be less, everything else was delicious. Toilets were also neat and clean, but I didn't like the door being open, especially when you want to adjust your clothes and everyone walks past. Drinks are unlimited and desserts are so delicious🤭 so we'll come back soon.

The Asian chefs are a bit grumpy. Who shares this opinion? Food was tasty except the BBQ. Ice was good to rinse your intestines afterwards. It remains an expensive opportunity, but you do get something in return. If it was cheaper for children we would have gone more often. Sushi is worth a good 8. They better put something Turkish in that snack area.

Owner decides at 7:00 PM that the restaurant will close at 9:00 PM instead of 10:00 PM. We arrive at 8 o'clock and we only have an hour left. Owner does not want to accommodate us even though we come from far away. We offered to pay half the price since we could only use it for an hour, he didn't want that either. No restaurant to repeat, arrived at 8:00 PM and the kitchen was closed while on their website it states that the kitchen closes at 10:00 PM. It's the first time we went to an halal all you can eat and it did not disappoint. The atmosphere is very chill, there is no music but instead a really beautiful and big picture of Mecca. The staff is very helpful and friendly and guided us through the whole buffet, carefully explaining what we could eat and what not in a really kind manner. The food was very nice and the buffet was very clean. The bathrooms are exceptionally clean as well and there's a playing room for children along with separate praying rooms. Would go there again when we're in the area 👍🏼

The concept is the same as Breed, but it is now a Halal restaurant. I liked the food but nothing special. Unfortunately, the tagine was tasteless, but I was curious about this because you almost never encounter that in an AYCE restaurant. It is nice that there is a prayer room and a small play area for the children. I did find that the empty plates remained on the table for a very long time. We just took them away ourselves every time. You create the atmosphere yourself! I think it's on the expensive side...

Very antisocial staff who smoke on the stairs all day long, these stairs are shared with a gym, and the staff leave the butts and stench here. If you want to smoke, that's fine, but don't bother other people with it and clean up your mess and don't let someone else do it...

I went here for dinner on a weekday (Thursday). Parking is really close by (New Yorkweg) in a parking lot where you pay €2 for a day ticket. Yes, you read that right, not for 1 hour but all day long! It is also nicely located in a shopping area where you can spend time. The restaurant itself cannot be seen from the parking lot, because it is just around the corner. The entrance has a staircase, an escalator but also an elevator, so it is easily accessible for the disabled. Once upstairs you will be welcomed and taken to a table after payment (in advance). Then it's time to enjoy yourself. There is plenty to eat and the composition is not much different from other 'All you can eat' restaurants. The special thing about this restaurant is that it is halal. You can eat your fill and that's what I did. Enjoyed the meal because I can't eat meat at other all you can eat restaurants, but here I can. Everything is neat and clean. There are also 2 (obviously) separate prayer rooms for men and women. What really disappoints me is that you have to make wudhu in the toilet. This seems to me to be a very unpleasant thing, especially for ladies. After 2 hours of constant eating and drinking it was time to return home. Will I ever come back here? Hmmmm, I still have to think about that because it is an hour and a half drive from my hometown. So it's pleasant, but it doesn't have the WOW factor that I have for it.

Very calming atmosphere, they also take great importance to dietary restrictions and allergies and therefore they make sure to do a round around the foods and make sure you know what to eat and what not to. They also have a small climbing playground for children and 2 boxing machines. The bathrooms were very clean and when we went there was a lot of variety from sushi to pizzas, noodles, rice, dumplings, deserts and even the drinks were included in the all you can eat price. Unfortunately, I was not able to eat too much as I was full very fast from the fries (a tip: don’t eat the fries first 😉) but I will definitely go back again. The building is quite big so we had some trouble with finding the entrance and walked a round around the building. NOTE: The menu differs per day.

I am very disappointed in my experience at this restaurant. I had contacted you by telephone in advance to change the number of people and reserve a private room. The lady on the phone confirmed that this had been noted. However, when we arrived on the day, the niqab area was not ready and they had to get it ready quickly. Moreover, no one appeared to be aware of my telephone conversation a few days earlier, which indicates poor internal communication. After the meal we paid the amount with the card and did not ask for a receipt, assuming that everything would be correct. However, two days later it turned out that the amount was incorrect. We paid 244 euros for 5 people, while the price is 42.50 euros per person, which amounts to 212.50 euros. Even if a sixth person were included, this amount would not be correct. When we inquired via email, we were told that they could not do anything without a receipt, even though we had sent our statements. The service was downright bad. In addition, we started eating at 8:00 PM and almost all plates were empty without being replenished, which meant we could not enjoy some dishes. We are from Amsterdam and wanted to support an Islamic company, but this was a huge disappointment. On the day of judgment you will see the truth. May Allah forgive you. This place is definitely not worth repeating.

Ate here yesterday with 4 people for a birthday, delicious food and lots of choice. Everything is halal really great! It's nice that drinks are included and there is a wide choice of desserts! There is also a very nice prayer room and a play area. The only downside was that the play area was far from where we eat so no view. The eating area next to the play area was closed. And you cannot split when paying, which is annoying with a large group.

Restaurant entry at 5:00 PM. I was hungry for noodles and had to almost go to the bottom to scoop it up, it looked like leftovers from the previous day. All the food was not warm but almost cold. Sushi not fresh, peanut sauce from the chicken satay was more water than the sauce and not at the right temperature. Coffee machine dirty and no spoons refilled and it had just been opened. The restaurant is a nice opportunity but that's all. In any case, the food is not worth the money. Very sorry

Nice people. Had a conversation with the owner... Very nice person. Chicken is 100%. Hand Gender... (Which is not the case in 99% of Islamic restaurants!!!) The great thing is that we could eat chicken! And how delicious that was.... Fried chicken, BBQ chicken satay and Japanese chicken, how delicious that was. The rest of the atmosphere was pleasant. Ooo yes, here you pay 1 amount for food AND DRINKS.

The food is of poor quality. The sushi is not tasty. The meat is not prepared properly. We had to wait a long time at the entrance because the employee behind the counter encountered a friend, which was very unprofessional. The food was not special at all, I wanted a sprite from the drink machine and I got water, but there was no sparkle in the coke at all. When I wanted to order meat for the second time, the gentleman thought it was strange that I came again so quickly and said something about it. The toilets were so dirty...

Concept is something our community has been looking for for a long time. So they can score points with this. But the friendliness of staff is hard to find. Hygiene should be a high priority, but there is no control over this either. If you report this, they won't do anything with it. It may be useful to hire a good catering manager who can monitor this. The staff behind the grill was not polite and the meat was tough and not well seasoned to get a piece of fish you have to wait in line for 20 minutes. The concept is nice but it was very disappointing.

Our family outing to Ummah Wereldkeuken in Almere was a hit! My wife, our two kids and I ventured here from Hoofddorp, and what a great choice it was. The food? Heavenly! Such diversity and everything halal, so as a Muslim family we could enjoy it without any worries. The service was smooth and friendly, which really made us feel at ease and allowed us to fully focus on the delicious food. Whether it was the kebabs or the surprising world dishes, everything left us wanting more. And clearing the plates quickly was so convenient - more time to enjoy! Highly recommended for anyone who likes good food and is looking for a halal option. We will definitely come back!

We had a really delicious meal here yesterday. The atmosphere is good and relaxed. The staff is also nice and helpful and all speak good Dutch (not entirely unimportant these days). Everything we ate was very tasty and the food was prepared hygienically. Lots of choice in sushi and genuinely tasty meat and fish. Plenty of choice and delicious halal! Oh and the desserts are also very tasty!! We will definitely come back here, this is our new AYCE spot in Almere!

Nice place to go with your family. Employees are friendly and sweet. Also towards the kids. There is also a wide choice of meat, stir-fry and desserts. There is a play area and the entire restaurant is spacious. All in all, definitely a place to give a try if you have any doubts. You will definitely come back more often!

A very nice discovery. I wasn't expecting all these choices in terms of food. Everything was delicious and with great taste. You have Italian, Japanese, Korean etc. cuisine. I think this place is just beautiful when you want to eat well. The restaurant is very spacious. The staff is very pleasant and professional. Recently had dinner at Ummah world kitchen with my family. A top concept, everything halal. A nice space has been created for children to play and the prayer room is very nice and beautiful. The food was not necessarily bad, but often very mediocre. It would be nice if they would hire more chefs given the crowds. Also, compared to other world restaurants, it was not always clear where all the plates, bowls, ice trays and cutlery were located. This can also be due to things not being replenished. We lost fifteen minutes of our time looking for an ice cream container and a spoon. Ended up having to scoop the ice cream onto a plate and eat it with a fork. There were also sisters standing by the poffertjes/waffles who had no experience. It took a long time before you got anything and occasionally we would burn something. We ended up staying almost an hour longer than we booked and spent longer waiting in lines looking for cutlery than eating. In shaa Allah these points will be improved in the future.
