I was charged 13 Euros for a coke and a bottle of water and I was told that it is what i should pay even though there was no any price list for water and soft drinks.Hot dog wasn’t good and fries were a little dry be careful about what you pay

Tourist trap. $5.5 for a Coke I was Charged. And laughed in my face saying “This is Amsterdam”. Would never recommend!

This is a total tourist scam that bank on tourists that are visiting the museums in the area. We ordered a large churro for €7,5 with chocolate sauce (extra €2) and it was terrible. The portion was small so I wonder how big the small portion was. We barely got any sauce even tho we paid €2 for it. The churros were bad quality and barely had any cinnamon sugar on it. Definitely not worth €9,5. The service was terrible. The biggest rip off ever, listen to the reviews and never go here. You can find better churros at a food market.

We ate a couple of sandwiches with cheese and pesto, and some fries 🍟, it rained but we were under cover and soon the sun came out. Good.

Crazy prices and very low quality, absolutely rude and if you pay by card be prepared for a surcharge, then I don't know if it's normal but I haven't seen a single receipt detached

You pay 10% more if you pay by card. Clearly people are not welcoming. The view is nice but eating with pigeons on the table. It's disgusting.

Warning: scam, charges an extra 10% if you pay by card. Refuses to give a ticket with details of consumption and VAT. And also very expensive 38€ for 4 Paninis and not good. Run away

Food itself was ok. , it didn't taste bad. BUT The hot dogs come with no toppings, just sauces And above all, it is really far too expensive.

The waiter served me something different from what I ordered, and when I told him that I did not order this, he did not listen to me. After that young waiter came to apologize for the mistake after we were eating, but he told us that he could not exchange the food. Service here is not very good.

The prices displayed are not the right ones, €1 per churros, he takes full advantage of tourists.

I wholeheartedly do not recommend this place. I give 1 because there is no zero. Very unpleasant service, the salesman laughed in my face while asking for the receipt. He cheated us and charged way too much!!!!!! We also noticed that they use the child to carry heavy boxes. 🙈 🙈 🙈 What a disaster, don't come here.!!!!!!!!

Homophobic experience during Amsterdam Pride 2024. Three male staff members made mocking sounds directed at us as we passed the store, clearly targeting our Pride-themed outfits. This behavior is unacceptable, particularly during an event dedicated to celebrating diversity and acceptance. It is disappointing that in a city known for its progressive values, such bigotry still persists.

Great French fries & stroopwaffels! Fries are crisp on the outside and fluffy inside. Large selection of dipping sauces as well.

Mi sono fermata qui solo perché un po' di corsa, avendo voglia solo di semplici patatine. Purtroppo qui non sono servite le classiche patatine olandesi, ma delle patatine striminzite, bruciacchiate, poche e costose. Apprezzo la possibilità di scegliere la salsa.

I only stopped here because I was in a bit of a rush, only wanting plain chips. Unfortunately, the classic Dutch chips are not served here, but rather skimpy, burnt, few and expensive chips. I appreciate being able to choose the sauce.

You know when people write "this place deserves 0 stars" and you think they are exaggerated and being silly. Well this place successfully makes their chips taste awful. My theory: apart from being unsalted it seems they are repeatedly deep fried if unsold. I had to throw them in the bin they were so bad and I'm not a fussy eater. I was sitting there shocked that such a simple meal could be made to taste this bad trying to force them down. The panini was edible but it wasn't good either. The store person (lady early 20s) was grumpy.

Being overcharged. I ordered €12 pizza & €3.5 waffle. They charged me €18.5. It was an awful experience! Also, the staffs were not friendly.

27 euros for 2 bottles of coke and a very small portion of churros is quite exorbitant. They are also not very transparent about prices.

Don’t eat here! Biggest rip off and food is terrible. Four euros for water and 4 euros for four nasty churros, with 2 euros for something that was anything but chocolate.

“Tourist trap” or more like an emergency stop only.. 6 churros for €6 - just fried, not even with sugar… and kind of salty in a bad way.

The food is not very tasty, tourist food and they are still extremely unsociable and quick-witted. I think the municipality can exchange them for a nicer tent where you can chat and eat at the stall. They want you to get your food there and then quickly leave... it's exactly Amsterdam to eat at a stall 😒 this is really vague.

Don’t eat here by all means. Biggest tourist trap. Thieves! Ordered a pizza and was given a baby version for €11. Terrible service. Staff looks completely uninterested and bothered by clients. Most shocking part is they charged someone €4 for a bottle of water! Which devil is running this place? With all these bad reviews, wondering why they’re still open. Shame on you!

We were in a rush to get food and chose here as the line at the other kiosk was long. Big mistake and now we know why there was no line here. The prices on the menu are not at all what you're charged, the staff seem to just pull whatever numbers they want. They gave us no receipt and yell at you when you dispute the price. On top of that they got my order wrong, had to argue to get the correct one, and they just didn't give my friend their food at all. Had to stand our ground as they kept trying to dismiss us, really this is a calculated scheme to rip off tourists who likely wouldn't argue back. They also make offensive comments thinking people can't understand them, avoid this place at all costs!

That small cafe not gives the recipt to their customer, which is a crime. And they are very rude people. Especially to tourists.

On our way out of a museum, we stopped to eat. Almost 30 euros for 2 poor hot dogs and 2 trays of fries (really not great). Total disrespect towards our accent.

This tent sends customers out into the rain, and it is not allowed to eat under the tent itself. Very poor service, a big mouth that sends its customers into the rain, a video has now gone viral on Facebook and other social media platforms. Blonde girl had to go out into the rain while she was eating, I witnessed this under that tent where she bought that hot dog. The lady on the left with a stick has a big mouth against this poor girl. She has posted a video herself on social media Media about this

I was told after ordering a hotdog I couldn’t eat it while I was standing under the hood and taking shelter from the rain.

Staff is very unfriendly and the food is terrible. You are also not allowed to eat there and will simply be sent away. What a sad intention there, I certainly do not recommend this business, if you see this, run past it.

THIEVES, THIEVES, I LADRI - DIE DIEBE - VOLEURS. Be careful, they are criminals. I bought 2 hot dogs, a chip, 2 waters and a beer and they charged me €40. I could never get around to that. I paid with contact less and they did not give me the purchase receipt. Furthermore, they treat people grotesquely. They handed me the hot dogs and drinks and I had to wait 10 minutes for the chips to be delivered. Badly educated. It makes me helpless that scammers like these are waiting for tourists every day to rob them. I have never been so mistreated in this way. Let it serve as a remedy.

Disgustingness and worst service

Sorry but the people were not friendly at all, food wasn’t that we were looking for, fries were cold and ugly. And all that for too much money, wouldn’t go here again!

Rude clerk, worst food! It is ruining the image of the Netherlands. When I asked why the price of French fries was different from the price on the banner, I was told that it was the additional cost of cheese. I said I didn't want cheese sprinkled on it, but the clerk said he would sprinkle it on the side and charged me 3 euros extra at checkout. When I told him I didn't know there was an additional cost, he just looked at me without saying a word. Burnt fries and the worst cheese sauce were 10.5 euros and I hope no one ever experiences this restaurant.

The ugly woman with the dark hair and glasses should be fired. Screamed at someone in front of everyone for using ketchup. Fries were disgusting, but not as disgusting as this woman treated customers. Imagine being so sad with your life that you work at a fry stand.

We ordered 6 fries and some drinks it was 65€ now this is already on the pricey side but what made it even worse is the fries SUCKED. It was burnt, had NO salt and their portions were TINY. I absolutely do NOT recommend!

This is Amsterdam's largest park and it is surrounded by museums including the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. Some nice restaurants in the are and also kiosks selling snacks and coffees. We stopped at the Kiosk Rembrandt Van Gogh and had a lovely coffee and apple pie. The waterpool in front of the museum is beautiful. A lovely place to have a wander and obviously popular with tourists and locals alike.

The Museumsplein connects all the museums in the area, the van Gogh, Rijksmuseum, MOCO and Stedelijk. It is a great place to stroll around on a nice day. Many school groups hang out there and there are as well some cafes and food stalls. In itself not an attraction but when in the museums quarter can't miss it anyway.
