Friendly service and very good food

We had a delicious meal with a group of 10 on Saturday! Friendly service, a lovely atmosphere, and lots of vegan options, including dessert. Highly recommended!

The food was excellent (the rendang for me, the curry madras for my partner) for a reasonable price, and the staff was great. It was quiet when we were there yesterday, but the atmosphere was good. Highly recommended.

Came here on a whim not really sure where else to go and it really turned out to be a good choice! Turned out to be Wednesday curry night which also turned out to be a good choice - very tasty, fresh and huge portion of vegan curry madras. I feel like probably tastier than anything would be from some of the Indian restaurants close by honestly. Service and atmosphere were also great, so I can’t recommend this place more!

Delicious and unique food! Besides the menu, they also have some good beers that are quite rare on Untappd (one with 140 check-ins and one with 255). These were limited edition beers. Service was fast and friendly.

It was OK. The food itself was tasty. The pork belly was a bit underwhelming compared to the crispy varieties served at Asian restaurants or Thai restaurants, for example. The combination of pork belly and mango wasn't very pronounced. Furthermore, it was a very small portion for €15. The butter chicken was also fine; not as heavily spiced as at a good Indian restaurant. The naan was a nice alternative! It worked well with the curry. Also, the tables are very small, which makes eating a bit of a struggle if you have to walk around dishes to reach your fries, for example (personal preference). The service was good and attentive.

Nice little place where we had a delicious curry

Yesterday, I was able to use the upstairs room for my sister's baby shower. It's a cozy space that still fits a lot of people. The food and drinks were delicious, and the staff was welcoming. Highly recommended!

What a fantastic lunchroom this is! The staff is very friendly and welcoming, the decor is colorful, the atmosphere is cozy, and above all, the food is delicious! "Normal" dishes with a little twist. Definitely a must-try if you're in Zwolle!

Love this spot in Zwolle. We had fries with rendang and the smashed avocado mushroom sandwich for lunch. Just great flavours and textures combined. Staff is super friendly and the atmosphere makes for an excelent sunday brunch place!

Service was quick, friendly and good...but the prices man, 13 euros for a small simple starter which was 8 euros two years ago, really? Also, if some staff doesn't speak Dutch, that's fine, but it would be polite of them to ask if English was okay, instead of just promptly replying in English when I ask something in Dutch.

We came here by chance with six people, and the dinner was delicious. The price-quality ratio was also good. The staff was cheerful and welcoming and offered good advice.

We ate two curries with the taste explorers. They were good, but we were disappointed that they came with Turkish bread instead of naan.

The service was great and the atmosphere and decor were very pleasant. They also have a good beer menu with plenty of choices, not just your typical beers. However, it's all about the food, and it just wasn't very good. It was quite expensive, averaging €12-13 for a small dish, and you get very little, and the taste and quality are also mediocre. For example, €13 for two small empanadas is seriously overpriced. It seems like they're pre-made. The bell peppers with orzo and oyster mushrooms are especially salty. The chili fries were good for filling up, as the dishes were too small for that. I really don't understand the high reviews.

We had a wonderful evening in the outdoor area. We tried a total of six dishes and can only praise the kitchen for its successful fusion cuisine. We love Korean and Mexican food, and here they know how to combine authentic spices and flavors in a modern, fresh, and top-quality way to create fantastic dishes. The service was also super friendly and helpful, and they recommended the perfect IPA for us. It's a shame we're leaving so soon. Stay exactly as you are!!!

I can't give this place anything but 5 stars. Just had dinner with my two kids and wife. The staff were friendly. The two waitresses were very attentive and friendly. I heard they're adding more craft beers to their menu, which makes me very happy! It's another reason for me to keep coming back! The combination of the spicy food and the IPAs and spicy Tripels makes the food special. They did ask to expand the lunch menu with two different dishes; I've had the same thing four times now and I'm looking forward to trying something different. Kudos!

If you are not Dutch, I do not recommend coming here. The food is disgusting. The wait for the order was very long. THERE IS NO TOM YUM. 2 disgusting 0.33 beer 7.80€. The fries are dry and hard. For the first time in my life I have seen such a ribeye, sliced ​​and very SPICY. The chicken nuggets are terrible, raw and tasteless, they must be a hundred years old.

This is a really nice cafe, where you can eat a combination of world dishes. All delicious: Indian butter chicken, Colombian empanandas, Korean fried chicken, rendang fries, you name it. Attractively decorated and hospitable service. Definitely recommended!

Taboe has a relaxed atmosphere and good food. I had dinner with a large group in the upstairs room. All wishes, allergies, etc. were taken into account. We had great service: she was everywhere where she was needed and at the same time invisible so that we could go about our business. Really nice, definitely recommended, and also very fun if you are with a group of people.

No idea how this tent can have such a score. Ordered a 3-course surprise menu; First course of bread. Second course an ice cold empanada, which they then reheated. Third course; bread again. When we indicated that we had already had bread, after waiting for 45 minutes, we received a rendang of fries. All in all not a good experience. I would advise paying a little more and eating at another place.

The menu here is so incredibly delicious. The plantains are really great, as is the ramen. Preferably with a cocktail for dessert. The sandwiches during lunch are also very good. Oh yes, and sometimes the tables are moved aside in the evening and people leave the floor

Very very good restaurant. We went there because it had a lot of stars on Google Maps, so we had high expectations. But it was really worth every star. The food was extremely tasty and the service was great. Thank you. We will definitely come back again.

Your money is better spent elsewhere; for example the neighbouring café. At least they know how to treat their customers very well! Personnel was somewhat okay; but their management is just a downward disaster. Not going back here, ever again...

We settled down on the almost empty but large and cozy looking terrace around 12:30. A choice of tables in the shade and the sun as well as benches. Very nice man at the counter and we also enjoyed the lunch. It's nice that it is indicated what is vegan. The vegan sandwich with spinaki bitterballen is highly recommended! My non-vegan partner had a tip with mackerel who also loved it. Highly recommended! There is also a clean toilet inside.

Garbage, you're money is better spent elsewhere. Personnel is somewhat okay, but their management is downward narcissistic. They told their personnel to get rid of us because we didn't fit their "profile". We went elsewhere for drink, but never got treated this bad in Zwolle.

The food at Taboe is delicious. In my opinion, the Buttered Chicken and the Ramen Shortrib are recommended. Tasty beers are served by attentive staff who take the time for you. The decoration is alternative, check the speaker wall at the back of the store. The well-considered choice of music creates a pleasant atmosphere. And for dessert, once a month there is a techno party in Taboe, where not the chef but the DJ is in the kitchen.
