Unfortunately, a very bad experience with Taco Mundo Leiden. The food was very bland and the delivery time was extremely long. Additionally, it seemed like old/soft chips were used for the nachos. For this price, you expect fresh food and better quality. Unfortunately, not recommended for us.

Very bad experience. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I ordered via Thuisbezorgd because the "1 + 1 free" promotion was clearly stated for the burritos and quesadillas. I ordered 3 burritos because I assumed that a free item was included with every promotional product purchased. In the end, I received only 3 burritos. When I called about this, I was told that the "1 + 1 free" promotion would only apply once. But even that explanation didn't make sense to me: if I ordered 3 burritos and only one of them would entitle me to one free burrito, why didn't I receive 4 burritos? In my opinion, if there is a limit of one free product per order, this should be stated very clearly before ordering. The same applied to the quesadillas, which also had "1 + 1 free" stated. The way these products and the discount on my order were calculated was also completely unclear to me. What made the situation even worse was the way I was treated on the phone when I asked for an explanation. The employee was very unfriendly. As a paying customer, I expect a complaint to be handled normally and respectfully, even when a restaurant disagrees with the customer. Unfortunately, the food itself was also very disappointing. The burritos contained very little meat. The salsas I ordered with them smelled and tasted strongly fermented. We therefore did not trust the quality and did not eat any more. I have since filed an official complaint with Thuisbezorgd and saved photos and screenshots of the offer. To me, the presentation of this “buy one get one free” promotion came across as misleading. An offer must be clear to a consumer before they pay, including any restrictions. An entrepreneur who treats customers in this way when they report a problem should seriously reconsider their customer service and the quality of what they sell. If you are not willing to treat customers normally and take complaints seriously, you have to wonder whether you should continue running a hospitality business in this manner. I will definitely never order from here again.

I have ordered many times from this place. This time I had to wait almost two hours for my order I called 3 times, every time they would lie saying 'your order will be there in 5 minutes'. I called one last time to specifically say that I didn't want my order anymore. I just wanted my money back They lied again, they said we will return your money and you can still take the order because it on its way The fries were clearly old fries, hard on the outside, full of oil on the inside. I had 2 and threw the rest away. Paying this much for an order that comes after 2 hours and they send you old, refried fries is unnaceptable I even got sick right after I ate one taco. NEVER AGAIN I tried to contact customer service and no response at all. I paid almost 21 euros for food that was inedible and a 2 hours delay

I had to wait 3 hours for my food and they didn't even bring it. I went to call and they didn't answer a single call.

Never again. Food soggy and cold. Delivery took an hour and I received the wrong dish. Called, they said it would be delivered soon, but that also took an hour, for a very mediocre quesadilla. The only plus point is the friendly delivery drivers.

I ordered the classic meat and fries, but specifically noted without sour cream and cheese as I have a (severe) allergy. Only to discover that there was cheese in the mix after eating half of it, because the cheese was hidden underneat the minced meat layer?! I get extremely sick when I eat milkprotein, so I am preparing myself for a horrible night with the emergency on speed dial. This is unacceptable and very dangerous.

I just received an order in which the tacos were old and soft/soggy. The tacos tasted bland and were not made well at all. You wait 2 hours for your food only to receive it like this; it is scandalous. You pay for nachos that are old! I will never order from here again!!!!!!

Ordered via Thuisbezorgd. It was supposed to be delivered within 30 minutes. I went by after an hour and a half. At first, the young man claimed the order was on its way. After some insistence, he picked up the food he had ordered. Upon arriving home, it turned out the order was incomplete. Never again.

i placed an online order through their website, and when i came to pick it up i had a very uncomfortable experience. i was standing at the front, waiting for someone to come up to the register. i made eye contact with one of the employees and smiled at him in hopes that he would come up to me, but he just kept staring. finally, another (very nice) employee came up to help me, but my order wasnt finished yet so i had to wait for around 5 minutes, which is fine, however the employee kept staring at me during that whole time. very uncomfortable and safe to say that i will not be coming back. food itself was nice, and so were the other employees, but as a girl i did not feel safe there at all.

DO NOT ORDER! What a disgrace this place is. Had to wait two hours for my order. And what do you get? Completely soggy and cold nachos... If you aren't hungry, this place might be a good choice, but in any other case, I strongly advise against this spot!

Ordered food. I get a call saying they don't have one of the items I ordered. I ask if the money for that can be refunded; yes, he says. Then I wait for more than an hour for my order, but it just doesn't arrive. Thuisbezorgd indicates: your order can be delivered at any moment. I decide to call, and he casually says: no way, you cancelled your entire order. Well, no! You called to say you didn't have one thing; I asked if it was possible to get a refund for the item they don't have. Tricky, isn't it, Dutch! Terrible service!

After waiting an hour and a half, I get soggy fries, a container of guacamole that clearly states it was only good until March 27 (today is March 31), and vanilla sauce that tastes like an old, tasteless milkshake.

The food was cold, my enchilada dough was still raw, the chicken was super cold. I can't get hold of them either; the phone is off I think, so goodbye money! I wouldn't order from here again.

The food from Taco Mundo was very tasty! The order was delivered on time and the food was still warm upon arrival. The portions were good and the taste was really top-notch. The delivery person was also friendly. I will definitely order from here more often. Highly recommended!

They gave me the wrong change, the employees were not wearing gloves, and some employees were vaping.

After waiting over three hours, I finally got my drink. They'd forgotten it in the original order. I had to call them six times, and each time they said it would be another five minutes before the delivery driver was on his way. When I finally got my drink and opened it, it squirted out of the bottle. It had been shaken vigorously... Don't order from here!

Unfortunately zero starts are not possible. 1. Ordered there some dishes 2. Get a call that chicken meat is not available anymore even though app showed it as available - fine, I thought, can heppen but its not nice as half the dishes I ordered contained chicken 3. Delivery driver drops food onto the street (I get called by a random witness finding the receipt with my number and calling me, informing about the incident) 4. They redo the order and call again to tell me, they dont have another item I ordered - its not only the chicken that is not available anymore (not that you would figure that out before preparing the food) 5. I had enough at this point and tell them to cancel the order since i dont want to wait for overdue food order which is not the original order I wanted nor even complete 6. Person on the phone insists on delivering the false and incomplete food - absolutely zero remorse, zero collaboration, nothing. 7. I told him not to deliver anything. No refund, no apology, nothing. Never again.

Bottom of the barrel fast food that is actual junk food. Lacking any kind of hygiene. Run by a crew of boys who seem 14 year olds and certainly behave that way. The sidewalk in front of the store is unpassable because of the delivery bikes parked in the most antisocial way possible.

The order was incorrect and late. One dish was missing, the wrong drink (water instead of sparkling water), and a small container of butter was missing from the corn on the cob. The food that was there wasn't warm. We called and told them the order was incorrect and were asked if they could take the bottle of water back and put it back on the shelves. The employee was difficult to understand on the phone and didn't speak good Dutch or English. After waiting for two hours (!) and calling twice to ask where it was, the delivery driver returned with the remaining food. This time without the drinks. They didn't ask about the bottle of water I had, so I guess we could keep it? Furthermore: It's not easy to find good descriptions of the dishes on the website. When you click on the 'i' for information about the dish, you get an allergen list, not a description/ingredient list. We won't be ordering from them again.

Uncooked beans, very late arrival, strange chicken meat

Ordered Taco Mundo, took 100 minutes for the order to arrive. Both me and my friend had 2 burritos, in both burritos pulled beef and grilled chicken the meat was nowhere to be seen. Terrible! Ordered food via Thuisbezorgd on 16-01-2026. It took a very long time for it to be delivered. Food was cold upon arrival!! The nachos came with a sauce that was past its expiration date!!! Couldn't reach the company itself. We will never order from here again!

Ordered through Thuiszorgd, food was cold upon arrival, and the restaurant was impossible to reach. When I reached someone, they explained that the order had been placed too long ago and that this was the reason for the cold food. After that, there was a discussion about which dishes should be hot and which should not, and finally, they said that if I returned the churros, they would reheat them. Absolutely no cooperation, understanding, or customer service. A high bill for cold food and no compensation.

Waited 70 minutes even though the branch is just 3 minutes away. The food is cold and messy. Poor service on the phone, very noisy during the conversation, loud laughter, you are not taken seriously, and we received no apology for the late delivery. They run around with the food, and the delivery drivers were punching each other for fun in front of our door. Also, the contents are not listed on the packaging. For instance, I don't eat meat myself, so I have to cut the wrap open to find out which one is mine. We will not be ordering from here again.

The food took a very long time to arrive. The portions were also very small, very expensive for what you got, and it was also cold. Absolutely terrible. I just received my order through Thuisbezorgd, but everything was cold: two tacos and a portion of enchiladas. It looked like it came straight from the refrigerator; it wasn't even lukewarm. I immediately called Taco Mundo in Leiden, and the person who answered the phone said there was nothing they could do. Now, I understand they can't get my food warm right now, but I expected at least an apology or a proper solution. I will never order from here again!

Truly one of the worst orders I've ever received. The churros and chicken were definitely missing. Instead of churros (XL, by the way), we got two cookies... instead of Mexican coleslaw, two containers of iceberg lettuce—what a joke. Truly awful. Don't order here if you want to get what you ordered.

I ordered a Grilled Chicken Burrito, but only got rice and chicken in a wrap. No salsa, no vegetables, no sauce, nothing at all. For €10, this is truly disappointing and not at all what you'd expect from a burrito. It's a shame, because I expected much more for this price.

Just ordered again and after an hour which was already 15 minutes longer than stated called. Delivery person was on his way the app said, but the delivery person only left at the time of the call I was told. Should take 15 minutes, became 30. Finally at the door no sign of sorry or apologies for the inconvenience. The quesadillas were slightly burnt.

Ordered 5 things and just received 3 wrong dishes, called but it was not really a suitable solution. It's a bit of a shame that they hardly check orders at all. Submitted a complaint via the website, but that is of no use to you.

I ordered 4 items from here and they managed to miss the main dish. It's not rocket science to get everything right for a small order.

Deliveries are extremely late and they close an order without actually delivering it, so you cannot see whether they are still working on it. Also often arrives cold. I've ordered before with mixed results but this time I'm really fed up with HOW LATE they deliver. I ordered about two hours ago. I called half an hour ago because it didn't arrive??? Called to find out what was going on and a manager told me they were just fixing it at the time. And that it would arrive in about 15 minutes. Still not here but they did shut down the tracker. Who cares if you close it at your store bro?

Ordered yesterday for dinner with staff before the shopping evening started. from ordering to delivery less than 40 minutes, the food was hot, the quesadillas were even hot, we ordered different dishes, quesadillas, nachobowl and burritos. I have been coming here to pick up my own food for a year now and the service is always so nice and pleasant! The young men work very hard and it shows and tastes. I also regularly have something delivered and it is always still nice and warm. I say: try it and be surprised by the many flavors and great offers!

Yes, this was the last time at Taco Mundo. I had ordered here before, so I thought I'd try it again. I received 2 tacos that were stuck and stuffed in the cardboard container, half of the contents of which were no longer in the tacos. The enchilada I ordered was so crammed together that you could eat it in one bite, which is not entirely the intention. Service 1 star, very poor delivery and presentation of the food.

Ordered my food at 17:50. According to the tracker, my food was delivered at 18:45. I called the restaurant at 20:00, the guy on the phone said my food would be here in 10 minutes. It is now 20:35, still no food. The service and waiting time has only gotten worse over the past year. Maybe the restaurant has run its course...

Stel je voor, je hebt enigsinds wat alcohol op, dat doet er even verder niet toe. Je besteld een taco. Wat krijg je? Ene wrap? Wat is dat? Dat is toch geen taco? Hoezo is dit een taco? Het was opzich best te eten tho. Maar het is niet echt wat ik noem een taco. Wat gebeurt hier, wacht ff moet ff ergens opletten. Ok ik hoorde : "waar is dat gore jong, ik ga bij rob, censa en jaimy zoeken? Waar is ie? Is dat een wesp?" Maargoed dat doet er even niet toe. Kunnen jullie mischien plaatje toevoegen zodat ik weet, dit is geen taco maar een wrap?

Eten was heerlijk. De burrito met wilde rijst is goed gevuld. 1 ster minder omdat de bezorging op zich liet wachten.

Loaded fries met chicken genomen, Eten smaakt wel. Maar zeer teleurgesteld, over de hoeveelheid vlees. Voor 9,95 krijg je net 2 eetlepes vlees, terwijl een taco voor 3,95 wel redelijk gevuld is. Zeer slecht..
