We got food poisoned :(( Food was bad - bad quality and didn't taste good. Very very disappointed.

Friendly people, delicious food! It's gotten way too expensive now, less rice, and the service and hygiene are much worse, which is a real shame.

I regularly order from Tandoori Hoek and I really can recommend. In the many time I order, I only had issue with waiting time once, and after a phone call and an apology my food was promptly delivered, people are human, it happens! Overall a very nice place

Order: butter chicken, dahl, tandoori chicken. Butter chicken: sweeter than a jar of honey, but waterier than a weak Heineken. The rice was so full of cumin (seriously? Cumin??) that it was inedible. Dahl: lentil soup. But flavorless. Tandoori chicken: I'd never seen a tandoori oven in my life. A waste of slaughter. Besides, the tandoori chicken and the butter chicken were the same skewer. I don't know who was in the kitchen here, but any knowledge of Indian cuisine was absent.

It's very spicy, it's impossible to eat, there are a lot of spices. But it's an acquired taste. I didn't like it, and neither did my friends, so the rating out of 5 is only 2.

Ordered here for the first time last night. Butterchicken, was very sweet, little taste, large blocks of dry chicken fillet. Had to wait an hour for delivery. All in all a mediocre disappointing 1st order, also my last order at this restaurant.

Chicken biryani was not that good. Looked like Chinese rice and didn't look or taste quite like traditional one. Service was not very good. The restaurant failed to mention the Biryani included a side of raita so I ordered one. After realizing I had 2 sides of it which I had to pay extra unnecessarily for, I asked if he could do anything about it and he laughed and said no. That was that. Do not recommend. Highly recommend Dutch Dabawala. Same price and probably the best Indian food I have had in the Netherlands.

I ordered tasty shahipaneer and crispy prawns. Taste of shahi paneer was generous! Not too spicy and tasty as it should be. I ordered mild and not too spicy and my taste choice was taken into account very well. I got it nice and mild and enjoyed it. I will definitely come back with my friends and family! See you soon!. They also take food allergies into account

Got the take out the other day, the butter chicken had insane amount of food coloring, overpowering taste of milk powder and the most dry chicken pieces I had in a while! The veg biryani was ok although the veg used for it where from the freezer. Suprisingly the naan was tasty! Definitely not ordering again.

Tandoori corner grill for 3 people. The menu is a bit unclear in terms of quantities (for example, it says 2 naan while it is for 3 people, so I ordered extra, but this turned out to be pp). The spelling mistakes are cute and fine. The food was a real success, the flavors are great and portions are more than sufficient with a vegan main course (I have my order below. Medium spicy is quite spicy 🌶️ for these hot eaters! Recommended! As a final tip, I would like to inform the owner that the plastic container tax has been abolished since January 1, so don't count on that. Until next time! Na heel veel lovende reviews thuis laten bezorgen. Ik zou graag eenzelfde review achterlaten, maar helaas kan ik niet anders zeggen dan dat het eten erg flauw van smaak was, en de kip droog. Wij hadden het king-menu. Peshawri naan was wel erg lekker. Voor 40 eu dus geen aanrader.

Tasty Indian food. Takeout was easy ordering through the website, and we paid in cash. The rice could be a little more flavorful but we liked the dishes we got. The garlic naan was good.

The food is really tasty, the price is fair and the meals are very well served. They have the best chicken butter in Amsterdam from my point of view. :) I hope they would open also during lunch time!

Zoals altijd heerlijk gegeten, jammer dat de verhouding vlees/saus steeds meer doorslaat naar meer saus. Ook jammer dat een bestelling die je 8 uur van te voren plaatst toch een half uur te laat komt. Maar de smaak was prima.

They have never let me down when ever i ordered food from them. When you select the spice level high/medium. They will always delivery the food in the same manner. Trust me, the spice levels are really as per the selection. They do match the spice levels that are being cooked in India. The dishes are authentic and completely cooked in the same manner as they are cooked in the Indian Cuisine. For Indians, I would recommend to exercise the spice levels, for Dutch i would always recommend the spice levels to be low or mild. I have ordered the food twice until now over a span of 6 months and the spice levels are still the same. Would highly recommend this restaurant if someone is looking for Authentic Indian food.

A lovely family-owned restaurant that serves amazing Indian food. Though they are mostly geared towards take-out, they had a small table to dine in as well, and were hospitable in their service. The food was lovingly prepared, with a fine amount of heat (the Medium curry had my Dutch palate sweating beads). They also have a wide variety of vegetarian options, which is always nice. Recommended for anyone who loves an authentic Indian meal!

This is the second time I order food to Tandoori Hoek (never been in the restaurant): I think their butter chicken is the more tasty and creamy that I have eaten so far. Really delicious. I am going to become addict. Friendly guys in delivery too, and delivery is included in the price
