The food itself was good, but it was very busy, so you had to wait a very long time for your dish, or it didn't come at all. That makes it quite pricey; also, unlike other tapas restaurants, the desserts were not included in the price. It was very hot inside; you could also sit outside on the terrace, but smoking is allowed there too, which I find very disgusting when you are eating in someone else's smoke. The staff is friendly and hardworking, but for us, it is not a place we would return to.

Otherwise, the food was delicious and the staff were great! just, there was probably something wrong with the food!! woke up with a stomach ache, unfortunately!!

My first impression wasn't great: old, broken toilets, dirty old menus, very dull decor, and few guests. I stayed anyway; I should have known better. The food wasn't exactly disgusting, but certainly nothing special. A maximum of 2 small dishes per person per round. You finish the dishes within 3 minutes, then have to wait another 10-15 minutes for the next round (even though there was hardly anyone in the place). So, the price of 40 euros per person is definitely not worth it; you even have to pay extra for dessert...

We went out for dinner yesterday; the portions were quite small and we felt the flavors were a bit disappointing, though the lack of time pressure does compensate. I think mentioning what is spicy would be a good idea so you aren't caught by surprise.

We ate here tonight and, to be honest, it was a bit disappointing. The food was mediocre and we had to wait a very long time for it. Sometimes we didn't even receive all the food from a round. After 2 hours, we were done and left. Not worth repeating.

If you're expecting authentic tapas, this isn't the place for you! The service was very friendly, but it was rather slow. For example, the people at the next table waited a long time for their soup, which should have been ready and just brought out. We were there at lunchtime, when they offer a platter for two. Everything was edible, but there were a lot of convenience products, such as onion rings. Nothing more than okay – probably geared heavily towards tourists.

We ate super delicious food and a lot. Very friendly service. There were four of us and we enjoyed every tapa from start to finish. The tapas are neither too small nor too big, just perfect with tasty sauces. Beautiful plates. According to our wives, the sangria was tasty too. We were lucky that it wasn't busy when we were there and everything was served in a friendly and efficient manner. If you want to enjoy a variety of small dishes, this is definitely a winner. We will 100% certainly be back and it won't be long...

Went out for dinner yesterday via Social Deal, it was delicious. The food was brought quickly and the staff were very friendly. We will definitely come back again.

The interior is a bit dated, but otherwise cozy. The food is delicious, and it's nice that you don't have to rush. Drinks aren't included here, unlike at Heinde, for example, and the same goes for desserts. The only slight drawback is that when two people are eating together, one person gets their dish first, and the other is served only after they've finished. Otherwise, it's fine!

The food was truly delicious, and the staff were very friendly, which was fantastic. The music was very loud and really resonated. We asked if we could turn it down, and they did, which was very nice. The restaurant looks very messy and unkempt, and the restroom is very old and extremely dirty. We weren't seated comfortably either; there was a large group of girls there, and they were having a lot of fun—great fun, but they were so incredibly loud, it was really unpleasant. We were literally screaming with laughter at times. We noticed several people around us were bothered by it, and no one said anything about it. We thought that was a shame. It made it very noisy and crowded. But other than that, we would definitely come back for the food and the friendly staff.

Because we were a nice group, we had a great evening. But not thanks to the waitstaff. There was one guest, I think, who was fascinated by our company and came to our table four times with annoying questions. We asked him to leave ourselves, even though it was obvious he was bothering us. The waitstaff did nothing. This sometimes dampened the atmosphere. The food was good, but I will never go there again.

They serve excellent tapas here. A varied selection, nothing to complain about. Only when we were there, on a Saturday evening, it was very busy, and sometimes you have to wait quite a while. This is especially true when other guests ignore the rules and order more tapas as quickly as possible while they're still finishing their previous order. This also increases the wait times for other guests who are polite. At some point, you're waiting 20-25 minutes, and it all gets a bit mixed up. If we're ever in the area again, I think I'd prefer to eat at a quieter time, because the quality of the tapas is excellent.

Have eaten at 't Schuitje a few times and it is always good! Good food with enough choice, many types of drinks and friendly staff. Inside it is compact and a bit on the tight side, but not disturbing. When the weather permits, it is lovely on the terrace.

When I am in Zeeland, definitely to this tapas bar, always very good quality and well-prepared dishes. I look forward to the next time!

Met mijn verjaardag hier gegeten met een groep vrienden, super sfeer, goed eten en gezellig personeel. Ik kom zeker nog vaker terug.

Online gereserveerd voor 2 personen. Kon uit 3 tijden kiezen. Bevestiging van de reservering ontvangen. De dag erna in de middag een mail dat de reservering geannuleerd was. Het restaurant was ineens volgeboekt. Heel bijzonder...mail gestuurd, niets meer gehoord. We zijn er nog nooit geweest, dat gaat ook niet meer gebeuren. Toen naar Davila's in Renesse gegaan....Dat is een echte aanrader!!

Nice restaurant, it is not big, but that also makes it kind of cozy to eat here. In summer it is also nice to eat on the terrace. Lots of choice, large portions and always hot. The only thing that is a bit disadvantageous is that you pay for desserts separately. But as I also see in other reviews and which I agree with, quality for your money.

We had dinner here to celebrate our engagement, and it was so delicious! The toilets leave something to be desired, but the service, the food and the cozy kitchen atmosphere (beautiful singing skills of the chef) more than make up for it. Unlimited food, relax and enjoy the treats. And then off to our holiday home to enjoy a delicious dessert later, although I have no doubt that these will also be delicious at 't Schuitje.

Staff was really rude to me and my friends. Food was okay though nothing special and definitely wasn't worth it considering the treatment we got. I don't really understand the rave reviews on here. Wouldn't recommend, Zierikzee has better places to eat.

Slechte ervaring, twee van de door mij bestelde tapas waren ronduit verbrand . Aangegeven bij de bediening, eerste gerecht werd mee teruggenomen naar de maar ik kreeg geen vervangend gerecht. Tweede gerecht ( zwartgeblakerde champignons) werden mee terug naar de keuken gebracht waarbij bediening opmerkte dat het een kwestie van smaak was.. Verkoold eten, ik hou niet van. Tenslotte aan de kassa € 95.00 afgerekend. Duur en van zeer matige kwaliteit, dat kan beter!

Update: delicious meal again, 7 years later and still delicious tapas. Delicious tapas at 't Schuitje. Friendly employees and they also give good advice on meal choices. At first the service was a bit slow, but it quickly became faster. Also a side note: desserts are not included in the rate. So these cost extra. Unfortunately we were not told this.

Zojuist bij deze onwijs leuke tapasbar mogen eten. We liepen tijdens een weekendje Zierikzee hier op vrijdagavond langs. Het zag er gezellig uit, maar bij binnenkomst bleken ze helaas vol. Gelukkig wist één van de onwijs gastvrije medewerksters Esther ons op de zaterdag een mooi plekje te geven. Het eten was ontzettend lekker en de sfeer en gastvrijheid uitmuntend. Naast de super aardige medewerkster Esther waren ook haar collega's zeer gastvrij. Wanneer je van plan bent om het gezellige Zierikzee te bezoeken zouden wij zeker aanraden om hier vooraf te reserveren. Het heeft aan ons weekendje weg echt een hele positieve bijdrage geleverd!

Eten is oke maar niet fantastisch qua prijs is het voor wat het inhoud aan de hoge kant.

Het Was lekker maar de pepersaus mocht wel beter en sommige gerechten konden wat peper en zout erop gebruiken

Fantastisch concept! Heerlijk een avondje getafeld. Attente bediening. De gerechtjes zijn heerlijk, veel keus en staan snel op tafel. Je bepaalt zelf het tempo. We gaan zeker een keer terug.

Geen goede prijs / kwaliteit verhouding. Duur concept en dure drankjes ten opzichte van de kwaliteit van het eten. Standaard massa eten, geen zorgvuldige bereiding. Personeel wel vriendelijk, correct en snel.

Fijn restaurant. Heerlijke tapas. Goed concept. Vriendelijke bediening. Goede prijs/ kwaliteit verhouding. We hebben een hele fijne avond gehad. Tip: misschien in de zomer achterin het restaurant iets verkoeling geven. Was erg warm. Al begrijpen we dat dit natuurlijk erg lastig is. Ga zo door! We komen terug. 😁

Lekker eten, maar wel jammer dat er soms zoveel tijd tussen zit. Mn moeder en ik kregen onze tapas zelden tegelijk waardoor we niet echt tegelijk aan het eten waren. Ook waren de soepjes zo goed als koud.

Als een persoon van voortreffelijke smaak en een voorliefde voor gastronomisch avontuur, kan ik met trots verkondigen dat ik onlangs een hemelse eetervaring heb gehad in uw uitmuntende eetgelegenheid. Het decor was weelderig en luxueus, de bediening was onberispelijk en de keuken was simpelweg subliem. Elk gerecht dat ik heb geproefd was met zorg en aandacht bereid, met de meest verfijnde ingrediënten en een artistieke presentatie. Maar laat me u waarschuwen, als de eend met mangochutney van het menu wordt gehaald, dan zal ik gedwongen zijn om mijn review te verlagen van vijf sterren naar één ster. Dit gerecht was een absoluut meesterwerk, met een heerlijke combinatie van zoet en hartig, en een perfecte textuur van krokante huid en sappig vlees. Ik zou er alles voor doen om deze smaaksensatie opnieuw te ervaren. Kortom, ik kan deze eetgelegenheid niet genoeg aanbevelen voor iedereen die op zoek is naar een verfijnde en onvergetelijke culinaire ervaring. Maar onthoud, de eend met mangochutney is de kroon op uw menu en mag nooit van de kaart verdwijnen.
