Went later on in the evening for food and a few drinks. Lovely atmosphere and our waiter UD was the nicest person. So helpful and up for a laugh. The food was was also really good. Would recommend and will he returning before we head home.

I'm usually quite critical, but this was surprisingly good. The pasta with truffle was especially amazing. You can tell they value quality. It's also great that they have Sicilian drinks you won't find anywhere else.

What a great atmosphere! We popped in spontaneously on a Sunday afternoon and had a wonderful time on the heated patio. The tiramisu was truly amazing. We'll definitely be back!

I ate there last week but I still feel like insulted. The place is dirty, the food is very poor quality and they charged 15 euros extra for service on their check without mentioning in their card.

Very, very, very, very long service without many customers and not for a great kitchen. Pasta with a few industrial bacon pieces fighting a duel and with just a pinch of parmesan. The bare minimum. In short, not to be tried

It was okay but that's all. Missed a small bowl of parmesan cheese because the dish I ordered had absolutely no love in terms of taste. I had the spaghetti Aglio. Looked really fantastic. But it tasted like Cooking spaghetti without salt. A dash of olive oil, thick slices of garlic and some pepper. That's what it tasted like. Was a bite of red pepper, half raw garlic chew and olive oil. So I was glad I had the salt mill next to my plate. My girlfriend had the carbonara. That was a lot better in terms of taste. But also no bowl of parmesan cheese with it. That also needed a bit of spice. Starters were super tasty. After course was also tasty. You sit there very cozy. Staff was sweet. But I can cook better Italian (🤌) than Julie cook that day when we were there. Vi auguro una buona giornata!

Dios mio, I have never experienced this anywhere else. I don't know how they have 5 stars. I would really give them 0 but to be able to post something you have to post at least 1 star. I will share my experience with you. We had a table for 3 (2 adults and 1 child) at 18:30 we sat down and actually immediately noticed that this did not feel right... service was super absent and absolutely not professional. She didn't even know what was on the menu 🙈 but oh well. We were able to order drinks quickly but we had to wait 40 minutes for our starter and didn't even have the opportunity to order a drink before that. 40 minutes for 4 slices of stock bread from the oven is not normal. Normally I would have asked for the bill and left but with a child there I wanted to wait a little longer. Unfortunately that was not the right choice. In the end I just got up because no one else came by and more and more customers around me started to experience the same problem. I walked to the bar and made it clear to him that this was absolutely not normal…. Waiting at the table for your food for 2 hours is crazy. 10 minutes later we had our dishes, we had 2 entrecote red with gorgonsola sauce with mushrooms and green pepper with fries and ensalade and some pasta for our little one. Now I am really familiar with many types of meat because I am often in the kitchen/bbq and I can tell you that the entrecote was inedible, it was middle and certainly had to defrost separately from the sauce that was poured over it, you had to look for the sauce between the peppers. And the fries were heavily soaked olive oil fries for 1 person. We paid and quickly left because everyone was complaining. Now we quickly went to the Appie to buy a nice dessert there to use at home instead of Restaurante Tarantela. It is a great shame that we had to experience this. The worst thing is that there was no sorry or apology from their side. When we left, the people next to our table had been waiting for their starter for an hour and a half. For us, it was the first and last time.

La pizza è buona, la birra di più … il personale è gentile / professionale / lingua Italiana parlata poco ma vale la pena accomodarsi in questa struttura al centro della piazzetta. Non cadete nelle trappole di ristoranti che espongono foto del cibo in quanto ingannevoli, provate una buona pizza del territorio OLANDESE perché TARANTELLA non ci ha delusi.

We all had a great time at Tarantella restaurant. The place was cosy and every pizza we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend. A special remark to the young lady Lente, the waitress, who was quite attentive, ensuring everything was perfect. Five stars.

The pizzas were not very tasty. Burnt, we passed it on, but there was little or no response. It was my birthday, I think it's a shame that there is just no response. We came with no reservation, 6 of us. Welcome was very nice. The service was good but the food was not as good. The Burata was sour and they told us : "The chef said its ok" and that was the end of the discussion. Pasta plates were al dante but tasteless and we waited for them for 55 minutes! The Pizzas were mediocre.

We arrived at eight, ordered the food at quarter past eight and the food arrived at quarter past nine. The pastas were really bad and the pizzas are fine. The only good thing was the waiters they were very nice.

Lente and Lorenzo are really great! We just visited on King's Day and they helped me and my friend very well. First time going out on King's Day and a great experience thanks to these 2 great guys!! Very disappointing experience. Inexperienced staff, and no owner or management around. 20 mins waiting for first drink, 20’mins for bread and more than one hr wait for a pizza which was probably one of the worst i ve ever had.

I had arranged a high cocktail at Tarantella through social deals. Once there we had to wait a really long time before we were helped. Once she got to our table we were told that almost half of the cocktails were unavailable due to products that were not present and sorbet ice cream that had not been put in the freezer. There was a small choice left, not our tastes, so we were forced to order some liqueurs instead of the cocktails. (the high cello was 10 euros cheaper than the high cocktail). All in all, a much too expensive disappointment. We have heard many people complain about the long wait. Each time we heard a different excuse.

Just good food for a fair price

We went with the family and the pasta is not something out of this world, very normal, but be very careful with the drinks because the 70 centiliter water for 10 euros is almost nothing.

If you feel like waiting 2 hours for your pizza, you should eat here. The starter was also minimal. They also have 2 types of ice cream on the social deal card, but 1 type of ice cream is no longer available. Too bad, in Wormerveer it was a nice restaurant but this is nothing at all.

We weren't very enthusiastic because of the bad reviews, but we still wanted to give it a chance and we were pleasantly surprised! The bruscetta is highly recommended and very tasty! The pizzas may not have been round but the taste was great, the salmon pasta was also great and not too rich! We had a prejudiced opinion based on the reviews and the menu does not look very attractive, but there was really nothing to complain about the food and the service! Nice girl who did it all alone for a while was very friendly. The price was also good! €46,- with the 2nd one you can't complain.

I'm not one for posting reviews and I'm really not a whiner, but unfortunately this was really bad. Know them from Wormerveer, that was always fine. Firstly, the menu was not very extensive and they did not have certain pastas that you would expect. The pasta was cold and no taste at all. The pizzas were just small. Normally I have trouble finishing it at a pizza place. My 7 year old daughter ate an entire pizza, I think that says it all. The pizzas also had scant toppings and I was shocked by the price. For us this was once but never again unfortunately.

Booked a social deal, really not expensive but I would rather pay a little more for better food. The carbonara is dry, the pesto pasta has no taste. Thanks to the service, it still has 2 stars. Improvement is possible, you can sit here quite comfortably, it is really a matter of paying more attention to the food.

Een echte aanrader als je is in Zaandam bent, Het restraunt zit midden in het centrum van Zaandam. Maar als je het teras op loopt waan je je zelf in Italië. Echt heerlijke gerechten heerlijke drankjes. En leuke cocktails. Ik ging hier heen met mijn vrouw en ondanks dat het druk was werd je snel en professioneel geholpen. Echt fijn. Je hebt ook vaak live muziek erg leuk !

Ik was met me gezin uiteten geweest heel lekker eten en gezzelig personeel we komen zeker nog een keer terug mijn man en ik hebben genoten!

Al meerdere keren hebben wij bij Tarantella een fantastische avond gehad. Het personeel is vriendelijk, profesioneel en behulpzaam. De avond dat wij er waren was er live muziek en het was echt een feestje om daar zijn. Wij komen zeker vaker langs!

I had reserved the high cocktail with a few friends. We were given the choice of many different cocktails and were allowed to choose 3 of them. The cocktails tasted delicious and we were welcomed with open arms and helped very kindly. There was also a drinks board with super tasty and fresh snacks. We had a really nice evening and enjoyed this nice restaurant. I will definitely come back here!

Booked a three-course menu via Social Deal for six of us after an afternoon at the Zaantheater. The performance ended an hour earlier than expected, but we were already welcome. Enough choice for everyone, but I missed the salad or soup with the starters in this deal (they are on the regular menu). Pastas were delicious, but my mother-in-law found the carbonara (see photo) a bit dry (no cream should be added according to the friendly waitress), but we were able to solve that by swapping. It was nice and quiet on the Sunday afternoon so we had time. Delicious food and seating for less than €30 per person (and then we also had the dinners with supplements, so it can be done for even less).

We always have a delicious meal here and will definitely come back!
