Salad was very good.But the T bone to be honest,was very tough and I dont think it was a T bone in the first place.The tiramisu was very delicious!

Had a delicious meal. The service was friendly and efficient. The only difference is that the seats are a bit narrow against the table, but otherwise it's OK.

The food was fine, but we won't be back. We wanted fries with our meal and were given three small portions of fries with mayonnaise. This is included as standard in most restaurants, but not here. We paid a whopping €15 for those three small portions. Can you believe it? In total, the three of us spent €165, even though we didn't eat a lot. I've never paid so much for a dinner out with so few extras. This isn't the iconic El Toro that used to be here either. It feels a bit like they were trying to capitalize on the success of the old El Toro.

After a concert at the Bullekerk, we walked past El Toro on our way to the Burcht parking lot and decided to grab a bite to eat. The food was good. The Romanian employee who helped us was very friendly and attentive and recommended we try the sirloin steak next time; it was supposed to be fantastic. Well, remember that :-) The restrooms looked clean. Suggestion for improvement: Put all plates in a warming cabinet. We were served the meat in a piping hot cast-iron dish; perfectly fine, but the plate was simply too cold. If you were to put the meat on it, the flavor would immediately evaporate. Let's start with the positives: the meat is good. Apart from that: €40 for 300 grams (really 300?) of meat is a bit pricey, especially since this meat is served... with nothing else. The simplest side dish (fries, potatoes, etc.) costs €9! Don't look for raw vegetables in the photo; there simply weren't any. Two mistakes with our aperitif order: we ordered an orange pisang, but first we received a pisang with apple juice, and then a pisang with... Fanta!?! We had barely started our aperitif when the main course arrived! There are much better value-for-money options in Zaandam.

Attention!!!!!! Tourist trap!!!! The price indicated does not correspond to the meat you are going to eat, they charge you an extra or grammage nine euros per 100g, we had to have a bill for two of around 70 € with dessert for one person and the finale, we paid almost 100 ten euros for two so indeed the meat is excellent you pay a tray of fries where there are two fries that fight duel for nine euros. A friend had the unlimited spareribs as advertised outside, yet we practically had to drag a waiter to our table to actually get a refill. Service was horrible despite being a quiet night, with the waiters showing no interest in interacting with our table. Pricing and menu feel predatory with you being forced to buy basically everything to have a real meal. You order a steak? The waitress will happily remind you it'll come barebones. You have to buy your condiment seperately, your side of salad/fries seperately and servings are small. The one item we ordered that *did* have sauce included in its name was misinterperated by the waitress as us ordering a steak *and* BBQ sauce. Prices were cheap but misleading due to the way you setup your own meal. Beyond that the interior is rather tacky. You're better off going to the restaurant the Zusjes down the street. It's much better and similiar in price.

The meat is delicious and cooked as requested. The side dishes are very tasty. It tens to get a bit loud inside, but other than that it's really nice.

This is a very good argentinean restaurant with high quality meat and good service. We had the parrilla mixta for 2 plus some empanadas, salads and the pork BBQ ribs. All excellent. Also the wine selection is good. Price is fair considering the place and quality.

Tourist trap!!!! All-you-can-eat ribs are a rip-off. The first few were okay, but the next few were of decreasing quality and tasteless. Seems to be a scam. To order more ribs, you first have to get a server, who then took a long time to bring them. The portions also got significantly smaller. And that was despite only five other tables being occupied. Service was very good, very nice server and people. Atmosphere was nicely decorated. They have bitburger on the tap! But the empanadas are very small and the burger was overdone and the meat was not nice because of that. :) The other meats looked and smelled terrific but we didn’t have a big hunger and thus ordered small things.

A great place where I love to dine with my family. The spare ribs are excellent. The unlimited menu is a real plus. The only downside is that the service isn't exactly top-notch. The appetizers always arrive very late, and it's not easy to enjoy a sweet cocktail while the main course arrives.

I don't usually write reviews, but the truth is, the rib buffet can be confusing. I ordered this and it took 20 minutes to bring them. It's NOT a fast food restaurant, so a bit of a wait is normal. When you go back to order more ribs, they bring you about half of what they brought you before or a little more. I find this normal; many people order them with their eyes because they look so good! Don't forget that the ribs are served at a buffet, so order as much as you want... it's normal for them to take 20 minutes to arrive; it's not a McDonald's burger. The atmosphere is great, as is the decor. I went with my dog, and they immediately gave him a bowl of water. If I go back to this place, I'll definitely go back!

Two of us had dinner on a Saturday evening, we were attracted by the sign outside which offered an all you can eat ribs menu which obviously wasn't mentioned on the menu. We therefore decided to order a grilled meat indicated as suitable for two people. Meat revealed itself without infamy and without praise but we had the surprise with the bill... without us asking, the waitress ordered two grills for two people so as if we were four people... plus we took a bottle of water which they only had large, a dessert and some chips... final bill? €95 Absurd for what we ate and not at all in line with the prices in the surrounding area, including Amsterdam. We visited this restaurant for our wedding anniversary dinner and were not disappointed. The service was very good and the steaks were delicious. I had a filet and it melted in my mouth. The Malbec was smooth and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. I would recommend this steak restaurant and will return next time we come to Zaandam.

Unbelievable that this restaurant has such a low score. There is more than enough staff, who are all nice and attentive. We ate a mixed grill. Super tasty and plenty of food. Grilled vegetables and tomato with mozzarella on the side. An excellent 10. Definitely go here more often.

We recently visited the Argentinian restaurant and were unfortunately very disappointed. Although the dishes were attractively presented, they lacked significant flavor. The spice and intensity that you would expect from an Argentinian meal were simply not there. The service quality was also disappointing. Baas van (El Toro) is erg schofterig. Wij hebben hem al vaker verteld dat wij alleen spa blauw mogen drinken. En hij en zijn personeel komen ons gewoon afzeiken aan tafel als wij onze tweede spareribs bestellen. Dit keer bestellen vier van ons vijf onbeperkt spareribs. Wij kregen er ook geen patat of salade met erbij. Dat had hij een week ervoor weg genomen van het gerecht zegt hij omdat hij anders niet meer genoeg zou verdienen. Wij mochten ook maar twee keer bestellen en dat is niet onbeperkt. Hij vind dat wij suiker dranken moeten bestellen of alcoholen zodat hij ook wat verdient zegt hij. Want alleen daar verdiend hij wat op. Normaal hadden wij biefstuk en een enkele van ons onbeperkte spareribs. Wij zijn hier 18 jaar lang geweest en kwamen hier een aantal keer per jaar. Maar deze man mag van mij failliet gaan met zijn zaak.

The 3 of us went here, me and my mother had the spare ribs (which were cold and way too greasy). And my friend the t-bone steak. The T-bone was tougher than an average bicycle tire and could not be cut off without force, even with a meat knife. It was 34 euros for 500 grams, but more than half of the 500 grams was bone. The service was dramatic, forgotten dishes, water that was not brought, spare ribs that did not come despite asking several times. Meanwhile, staff were constantly on their phones and avoided eye contact. Not recommended at all.

It was a big surprise that we had to ask 3 times water for the dog in a very hot day before they bring it. On the first time the waitres educated me to sit to my place and first to order my drinks. The second time she wrote it on her paper. And the third time they had a pity and brought water for the dog. The ribs and the ribeye steak were mediocre and the quality does not correspond to the price. This is the first place in my life where I order a steak and I am asked for anything else but not how well done I would like it. Strange service and a bit cruel.

Watch out when ordering ribs all you can eat. Only ribs are included in that price. They forced me to ask for a drink as well. Food was nice

This amazing place does not deserve anything else than 5 stars. If you want to enjoy great meat, service and atmosphere come here. 100 euro for 3 people for meal with drinks. 2 person meat plate, avocado salad. 2 beers and cappuccino
