Definitely not worth the money. This food is more of a "filling" level. The sushi is mediocre, especially the fish and rice. The fish is clearly not the best quality. You also have to pay extra for a huge number of dishes, even the edamame! The service is a bit slow. The ambiance is okay.

We ‘ve been in the restaurant multiple times. It’s amazing! Please mind that it’s very popular and you have to book in advance. That’s the only drawback if you like spontaneous dinning.

Food is cheap for the price. You can do better for 2/3th of the price

Stopped by at Tatsu for a spontaneous dinner with friends and we each took a Ramen bowl which we were very pleased with. The flavours of each bowl were quite alive, allowing me to enjoy the freshness of the various ingredients. I wouldn’t say it’s the best ramen I’ve had but it definitely passes the quality test. It’s worth stopping by and trying out if you’re ever in the area. The staff here is really nice, we had a great time chatting up with one of the waitresses who had a pretty long day at work. I always enjoy the vibes at any place when the staff has good energy you can feed off of. So, thanks to the staff for also making the experience more enjoyable and having the patience with our jokes and chatter!

The food was good. The service wasn't great. Half an hour before our time was up, we were being pushed to finish. Fifteen minutes before the end of our time, the same story again. A bit of a shame.

First off: VERY friendly service personell all around. What we ate for lunch: All Nigiri Nicely seasoned rice Fried ebi Hot, fresh, crispy Crispy chicken salad Cold chicken, not really crispy. Tasty dressing Grilled salmon Very nice Salmon mango fiesta Would be better with fresh mango strips in the roll instead of the avocado or shallot Chicken curry maki Very dense. Not a favourite Korean fried chicken sweet and spicy Only spicy. I love spicy food but this was not at all what I expected. Mango mochi Very, VERY tasty, but just above freezing. Waiting a few minutes solved that. Yello custard bun Incredibly pillowy soft bun with a hint of sweetness in the dough and the nicest custard on the inside. I wish I had space for more than 1 in my tummy 🥲

Every dish has its own taste, so not everything should just be garlic 👍🏼

The food is good, the staff is friendly, and parking is free. If you love sushi, it's definitely recommended.

The evening started well. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was good... until one point. After sitting there for an hour and a half, we were practically dismissed. Pushy questions like, "Are you going to order something or are you finished?" I didn't think this was appropriate, as we had a reservation for two hours. After they came by several times, I asked if there was a problem, because what's going on? Apparently, we had to make way for the new customers who had made reservations. There were still several tables available, and our two-hour reservation wasn't over yet... Afterward, I briefly mentioned at the cash register that we didn't like that. Instead of engaging in a constructive and customer-friendly conversation with us, the employee became defensive and blamed us for not following the house rules. Good food isn't everything; service largely determines whether customers return or not. That's a stupid way to do things...

It's good that they take pregnancy into account

We took the all you can eat, normally they give 2 hour just because it was Sunday we got 1.30 hour , but still worth every penny, little bit crowded , but in everything aside the food was delicious 🤤 , really going again , fully enjoyed and recommended ❤️

Hello, my girlfriend and I decided to go all-you-can-eat today. Well, here's the story of the day: We walked into a nearly empty restaurant and chose a seat. Then an angry old Chinese man came up to us and told us we had to ask if we could sit down first. Okay, Your Majesty. Very strange, because it was actually empty? But anyway, without a sigh or a murmur, we got up and begged to eat too? After all, we're just paying. Once we were shown to a bad spot in the back of a smelly corner, 2 cm away from a restroom, we could finally order. The sushi was cold and disgusting. Endame had no salt. Malaysian chicken tasted like bacteria. The only tasty food was the lamb skewer (though it really lacked salt, and they didn't even have any salt on the table). P.S. The martini was delicious, by the way. That old Chinese waiter was REALLY rude and mean. I pointed out to him that I didn't find him very friendly, and suddenly he said, "Okay, I wasn't, but okay?" Excuse me? I didn't do anything. Oh yeah, I also got hit on the back of the head with a tray. Anyway, Absolutely not recommended. If there's ever another pandemic, it'll probably be because of this unsanitary restaurant. Bye

Probably the worst Sushi I ever had. You’re better off eating frozen pizza. Service is on par with KFC.

Don't go between 14 and 16, they have a weird policy where they don't serve customers even if the restaurant is open (not sure how legal this is). We got there, and we got told that the team needed also to take a break between the lunch and dinner service, understandable, but they could simply fix their schedules especially on a Sunday, in a mall restaurant. Just avoid it go somewhere else where if the restaurant is open, they serve food.

Definitely recommended at The Mall of the Netherlands! At Tatsu, we enjoyed delicious, fresh sushi and other Asian specialties. Everything tasted fantastic, was beautifully presented, and halal. What made the experience even better was the friendly and attentive service. A top spot for a successful lunch or dinner!

Very good for what it offers. The food is very good and of good quality, we have been going for a while now and we have tried almosteverything. There are also vegan options. The staff is very helpful and friendly. It's an all you can eat restaurant so very good for us who have kids that like sushi a lot! Sometimes some dishes come at the table late, but they always come in the end. Two hours are more than enough for us to finish. Favourite dishes the spicy tuna roll and the flamed salmon nigiri, but everything is very tasty!

I’ve been going to Tatsu for over a year, usually once a month. Food’s always been great. I’ve had some small gripes about how the staff treats customers, but nothing that kept us away. Our 5-year-old doesn’t like sushi or fish, so we usually feed him beforehand. At Tatsu he’ll nibble a few fries, maybe 1–2 fried shrimp, and an ice cream from the deluxe menu at the end. My wife and I always keep it reasonable—we stop at 4 rounds even if we still have 4 more rounds. This time, as soon as we walked in, the person at the entrance said we’d have to pay for our son. I explained he’d already eaten and would just share a few fries with us. He insisted we order him his own fries and pay for them—and then told me he’d be watching us, and if our son ate anything else he’d charge a full person price (!).Which is a very weird behaviour So we left. I’m not going to leave my kid alone for two hours specially that Nanny's is closed in the mall, and I’m also not paying €48 for a few bites. Shame, because we genuinely liked the food, but we won’t be coming back after this.

You'll be spoiled with freshly made sushi here. From start to finish, you can enjoy Japanese cuisine, yum!

There was no sign at the entrance telling us to queue. There wasn't one either. After 15 minutes, someone came to ask if we'd been helped yet. It was a shame they tried to turn us away. After speaking with the manager, we finally got a spot.

Delicious food! This all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant absolutely doesn't disappoint. There's a huge selection, from classic sushi rolls to hot dishes and tasty side dishes. The service was friendly, and the food arrived quickly. It's great that there are halal options, and the quality is also top-notch. Definitely recommended; I'd love to come back! 🍣

Our daughters love sushi. We visit this place very often, one of the best all you can eat sushi that we found.

You're having a nice day shopping and want a good meal afterward, so you end up at Tatsu. They tell you, "You can't sit for two hours because it's so busy, but you can sit for an hour and a half." No problem for us, but then we let them foist on us the more expensive selection, supposedly cheaper. But then they arrive at your table after an hour, telling you it's our last round. It's outrageous! You have to pay the same amount for less than half an hour as if you were eating for two hours. I think it's outrageous! If the food had been good, no comment, but it was cold and overcooked. NEVER AGAIN FOR US! THINK CAREFULLY IF YOU WANT TO EAT HERE!

Had sushi lunch here, with a wide selection of snacks, which is sometimes limited at other sushi restaurants during lunch. The sushi was fresh and arrived fairly quickly. The view from the window is nice.

Very delicious and worth the price

We ate here last night around eight o'clock. Despite the late hour, it was still quite busy, but the atmosphere was good. We were served by a staff member with a remarkably cheerful voice, friendly and attentive. We were allowed to choose from three tables. The sushi was truly excellent. Beautiful, large pieces of fish and delicious combinations. The salmon and sashimi were particularly notable: fresh, generous, and flavorful. It reminded me a bit of Sushi Yaya in Rijswijk. We didn't have the deluxe menu, but even the regular dishes were generous and well-prepared. The sashimi salad was surprisingly filling. The hot dishes varied: the Malaysian skewers with peanut sauce were very tasty, but the beef was unfortunately a bit tough. The service was fast: the food was often on the table within a few minutes. Towards the end of the evening, it quieted down a bit, which made the atmosphere even better. All in all, a very good experience. Fresh food, fast service, nice atmosphere. I would definitely come back.

Everything was good, except the teriyaki mushrooms made us both throw up and feel sick all day and night afterward. And that for quite a hefty price...

Edit 2025: meat was more dry today, same for the salmon of the grill. A very dissapointing experience compared to 2021! 2021: Delicious sushi, great quality for an all you can eat concept. The deluxe version is worth the extra money! Staff is friendly and makes sure everything is good. Definitely a place I would come back to!

The food was very fresh, but at the entrance, it felt like we were about to cross the border into Europe. The employee stared at the reservation on his phone with a puzzled expression for at least two minutes. He even took off his glasses to double-check. 😅 Restaurants should always provide two napkins: one to neatly place on your lap (to prevent stains on your clothes) and one to wipe your mouth with. Hopefully, they'll bring these with chopsticks next time.

It's a sushi restaurant, but it seems like there's no innovation in sushi. It stays more or less the same.

A bit expensive but it’s unlimited rounds for 2h so it’s worth it if you are able to eat crazy amounts of sushi, you can rather go for the normal version (38€ drinks excluded more limited on terms of choices) or deluxe (47 I think, a bit more expensive but you get to choose between way more options) I would honestly say if you are very hungry and you care more about quantity then choose the normal version if you care more about exploring new flavors the deluxe will be more enjoyable. But in general terms, everything was good and tasted fresh. The decoration is also very nice. But if you don’t eat a lot, I would suggest to go somewhere else you can order a la carte.

Unfriendly service, sushi with little taste

The food is always great and fresh. We come here regularly. Placing orders at the table is often a challenge. Don't put your plates on the corner of the table (sometimes even halfway on a napkin). Take three seconds to place them in the middle of the table. The atmosphere is very cozy. The restaurant is beautifully and comfortably decorated. Free parking is available under the Mall of the Netherlands.

Never had such bad sushi, even worse than gas station sushi

Well. I searched for a long time cause this was my first time going for all you can eat. The main issue, all the fish was rotten but th smell covered with it being half frozen or rice having the bunch of salt and sauces. Meat was so boring and blank, had an aftertaste. The desserts and deepfry were so fat, i didn't even finish one bite. Only goof thing i ate there was mochi which is two euro extra for every piece in the deluxe menu. All the plates dirty and sauces on the table expired but the date was erased. Well, i would better order takeaway for 6th part of proce that i payed here and enjoy the way better quality than spending eating anything here even for free. Spent 122 euros on two person for deluxe menu + mochi and drinks.

The Deluxe Dinner Menu is very good. I had the chance to eat some food that I haven't ate at other Sushi restaurants. I also served their Lunch menu in the past, but Dinner Deluxe Menu is their best.I will definitely come back here to eat here.

Reasonable for an all-you-can-eat option. The price-quality ratio is not up to par; it's very expensive, and that's just the standard deal. The gyoza was awful, and the waygu burger was severely burnt. It's a shame there aren't any nice Japanese drinks. The service is fine, but they don't have much to work on. For me, the best Japanese sushi and BBQ restaurant is still the one at De Kuip in Rotterdam—fresher, the same price, and delicious sushi. I would never go there again. A waste of money!

It's strange that you're not only allowed to order drinks but also have to order food to get a table, even though the restaurant was almost empty! The staff were also extremely rude. In the end, I was very glad we weren't allowed in; we'd be much better off somewhere else with at least friendly staff!

The toilet is terribly dirty. It hasn't been cleaned all evening, and the stench is unbearable. It's a shame, as it's not a cheap restaurant.

A typical case of a very successful formula, where the decline started as a result of its own success. The cushions are filthy and clearly haven't been cleaned. The tables feel sticky, and the dishes are damaged on all sides. The food used to be very good, but unfortunately, consistency is no longer guaranteed. A shame, it used to be so much better.

The 5 stars in the service are doing a dis-service to the restaurant; I'll explain: we went for an all-you-can-eat experience, where different dishes from a long menu were coming to the fully packed restaurant. The logistics of such an endeavor is a nightmare, and yet, the dishes were arriving constantly on time, fresh, without mistakes, while at the same time the empty plates were disappearing with myself not even noticing. The food was excellent, but the service is the best I have experienced in my life: 5 stars are just not telling the full story. Being myself a Project Manager, I wish that, when retired, the manager and the chef of this establishment would make seminars about efficient service in restaurants.

Visited during dinner time on the 9th of November. It was convenient that ordering food could be done via the tablet at the table. (It is an all you can eat - there were 8 minute intervals between each order) The staff delivering the food to the table were all very nice and friendly. A few comments on the food would be that the miso soup was a bit too salty, additionally, the green tea ice cream ordered at the end was not very pleasant. (usually a big green tea fan😬) However, all the other dishes ordered were fresh, especially the fried foods as they were all very crisp and hot when delivered to the table. Overall, the experience was quite pleasant and would highly recommend it as a place to go with friends or family. Edit: Recently revisited a few weeks ago (after 2 years) and the portions and quality of the sushi has gone down significantly, alongside the service of the staff members. It was extremely pricey for what was offered so I would not recommend this place if you are looking for decent quality sushi and to have a nice dining experience.

Delicious sushi and seafood. You can order so many different options of sushi with different fish, salmon, tuna, they are nice size and tasty. There is also shrimps on grill, fish, vegetables, meat, and desserts. So many options for a fixed price that you eat in 2,5 hours.

I often go to Tatsu Leidschendam and have eaten delicious food every time. The food is always brought to your table quickly and it always tastes super tasty and fresh. The staff works hard and is friendly. The restaurant itself looks nice and well-kept.

Unlimited two hours of sushi. Was delicious and the service friendly and very fast. You really get value for your money.

The food was good but we couldn’t finish it so asked the waitress if she could wrap it up for us she said “no “ and that’s fine, but her attitude was not nice and quite rude which made no sense for her to act that way. Also the waiter who took us to our seat was not clear and didn’t communicate well which lead to confusion. Very tasty and varied sushi. The concept, all-you-can-eat with a time slot, is not that special.

Had a nice meal with 2 friends. A few times a dish we ordered was forgotten, but otherwise it was fine.

It was my birthday on Wednesday and as a surprise we are going to eat "somewhere". We arrive at the Mall of the Netherlands, where I have been once before. Free parking, ideal! In this mega large and beautiful shopping centre, not everywhere equally clean by the way, free toilets, we can also leave them clean after use, it is not difficult, but well here you will find the EET theatre, a kind of food hall, something for everyone. There are also restaurants, including Tatsu, an all you can eat, 4 courses 4 dishes at a time and really the choice is huge, meat fish vegetables rice sushi desserts (max 2 p.p). Easy to order via the tablet. You can order unlimited drinks, drinks not included in the price, the food 8 minutes after the last order. Quality and presentation was very good, very tasty. The dishes are not served all at once, but quite quickly one after the other. They do not always tell you which dish is put on the table, but that is a matter of asking or sharing with your company. We have been here twice. In January '25 we were pleasantly surprised by the sushi and various meat dishes. The restaurant itself is quite noisy, but this is the case in the entire mall. The second time in May '25 we were a lot less satisfied with the quality and taste of the food. We do not think the deluxe version is worth it. All in all not bad, but certainly room for improvement.

Great atmosphere and food. I would highly recommend to choose the deluxe menu as those items are the most delicious and definitely worth it! The only disappointing part is the bathrooms. As for the food - delicious!

Very disappointing. I've been here before but it's not the same anymore. I really got a stomach ache after I ate here last week, when I indicated this at the cash register I could simply pay the entire amount and I just had to send an email.

We had to wait a long time until we had a seat, but once you are seated the food is delicious. Operation is in few words as it is with a tablet.

Bad!! We walked by, wanted to choose a spot but were told that they were not allowed to accept customers due to a shortage of staff. And all you can eat was until 4:00 PM? Better arrange!

The staff really didn't feel like it, just no one. We were not allowed another table and after payment we had to leave quickly, because the following people were waiting: exactly no one. The fact that the food was tasty makes up for something. Desserts should be less sparse in size. There is a lot of room for improvement here...

Disappointing experience, unfortunately not like before We came with high expectations, based on previous good experiences, but unfortunately this time we were quite disappointed. We were placed at the very back, in a kind of children's corner where it was constantly noisy with crying and screaming children - not really a place for a relaxed dinner. In addition, the food left much to be desired: it arrived lukewarm and the taste was significantly less than we are used to. Where normally it is really enjoyable, it now felt more like a quick bite in a play paradise. Too bad, because we know things can be better. Hopefully this was an exception, but for now not a pleasant experience.

As for the sushi, it is of exceptional quality and really a step above what you usually encounter. The freshness of the ingredients and the careful preparation make every bite a pleasure. And all for an attractive all-you-can-eat price, so you can taste all the goodies on the menu without any worries. Had dinner yesterday at Tatsu in The Hague. The food was good. The atmosphere was relaxed, although the staff could smile more often for a warmer welcome. Special shout-out to Osman: what a winner! Friendly, attentive and gave the whole experience that little bit extra. Definitely recommended, and I would love to come back.

Went for a birthday on 2/4. Delicious food for me, I thought it was a bit too busy. Furthermore, the employees work carefully and neatly. And super polite, even when something is asked, nothing is too much despite the crowds. I will definitely come back, but on a quiet day.
