Sunday evening we had a lovely shopping spree at Westfield Mall and then some food and drinks at Va-Piano. When we arrived, the table was absolutely filthy. No one could be found to wipe it down. I thought we'd order some drinks and then ask for the table to be cleaned. That's not how it works there. The delivery person doesn't service tables. I asked if there was someone who could clean the table, and finally someone showed up. The pizza and the carpachoo were delicious. Then we ordered an Italian coffee as our last drink. The app pictured it with a nice dollop of whipped cream! He arrived with an Italian coffee without whipped cream! So I said, "Where's the whipped cream?" Oh, let me ask, otherwise I'll just bring loose cream. After a few minutes, he came back: they were out of whipped cream! Hugh. I pay 8 euros for an Italian coffee with whipped cream, and then they just put an Italian coffee in front of me without it? They were out of whipped cream! Unbelievable, right?

Terrible Experience at Vapiano [Location in the Mall] - Avoid! My visit to Vapiano at the Mall today was an absolute disaster from start to finish. I would strongly advise anyone considering eating here to go elsewhere. First, I ordered a pasta dish specifically requesting no cheese. When it arrived, it clearly had cheese on it that had been poorly scraped off. This is completely unacceptable, especially for anyone with allergies or specific dietary requirements. The worst part, however, was the wait time for the pizzas. I ordered two pizzas, one of which was for my young son. After waiting for 45 minutes, I asked about the delay and was told "just 5 more minutes." This lie was repeated several times. Finally, after waiting for over 1 hour and 25 minutes, I was completely fed up. And of course, the moment they finally brought the pizza, it had burned spots all over it. After such an incredible wait, this was the final straw. I expressed my frustration to the Manager, expecting some level of apology, assistance, or a solution. Instead, I was met with a manager who was totally unhelpful, unaccommodating, and unprofessional. They showed no capability to de-escalate the situation or offer a resolution. I explicitly stated that I no longer wanted the burned pizza and was done with the whole experience. We ended up having to eat elsewhere. In short: The service is incredibly slow, the order accuracy is poor, and the management is completely incapable of handling even basic customer issues. This is an unprofessional restaurant. End of Vapiano for me! I highly recommend you avoid this establishment.

The food was good. The reason for the 2-star rating is that we had to wait a very long time even though it wasn't busy and there were too many staff.

A very nice mall. A few more signs certainly wouldn't have been out of place. Especially the sign for the parking lot, where it suddenly leads to an underground garage with restricted height.

I ordered the gamberitti al sugo mild but got a lot of red peppers which made me lose the taste

The first time I went, it was delicious. The second time, there was a different meat (pork?) in my macaroni and shrimp with extra chicken, but it had the wrong kind of meat in it! I felt terribly nauseous. I can't eat pork, so this really bothered me! Never, ever again.

Nice Vapiano in the mall; it can get very busy sometimes, but that's because the food is delicious. Happy hour between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Very cozy, and the staff is always friendly. Happy staff, Mubarak.

Very dirty and unhygienic. Tables are barely cleaned. The staff speaks English. This isn't a problem in principle, but they act like they don't understand you when you ask to have your table cleared. Any leftovers on the table are simply swept straight onto the floor. Truly disgusting. The cloths they use for cleaning are disgusting. So, was I happy with a wiped table? Of course not, when you see the cloths. I'll never go there again.

Upon entering, I was kindly assisted by Mubarak, who immediately asked if I wanted to sit inside or order takeaway. Of course, I chose to dine inside, because the atmosphere is also about food, right? I easily placed my order using the QR code on the table—super convenient! I went for the shrimp pasta, extra shrimp, of course, and a refreshing Watermelon Lemonade. When I created an account, I also received a free Nutella whipped cream dessert. Who can say no to that? The service was excellent: drinks and dessert arrived incredibly quickly. The food took a little longer, but hey, good things take time, and believe me, it was worth the wait. The atmosphere was cozy, the location beautiful, and the icing on the cake: free parking. In short, delicious food, great vibes, and Mubarak deserves a big thumbs up for the excellent service. 👏

Really bad, we waited 30 minutes for food, it turned out that it had been served to another table, and those people hadn't indicated that it wasn't theirs, so later we got the children's pizza that wasn't baked properly and the rest of the menu had pine nuts, they said they needed them later I got them with it and I had to sprinkle them on myself, very poorly organized, there were only 4 tables, and still making mistakes.

Some of the cooks were eye candy the food was alright but service was good

Truly awful. The most tasteless, uninspired, and limp pizza I've ever eaten. My wife's pasta arrived 10 minutes later and was also inedible. Raw pasta, canned vegetables, tomato sauce that pigs aren't even fed—never again. The staff was apparently so poorly paid that a smile or a friendly word was impossible. After asking three times, we had to pick up the pasta ourselves. I almost asked if I could help in the kitchen? People are better at standing still than working. Double the cheese? Pay double and get 50% less. And the hygiene—I almost didn't see any mice running around. Although they could probably clear plenty off the floor and crowded tables. And for dessert, a fat fly that wanted to eat with us... absolutely not recommended. If I could give 5 stars minus 5, I would. Stay away, no matter how hungry you think you are!

Italian restaurant. Order at the table via an app where you pay immediately. Several meals are ordered but don't arrive at the table at the same time. So, when one person finishes, the other gets theirs. The quality is fair to okay. The service is mediocre and inattentive.

My daughter felt sick after eating the pasta. The pizza had nothing Italian about it, and it was cold, too. The only thing I couldn't complain about was my pasta with prawns. It's worth mentioning, though, that the Parmesan cheese was replaced with something unidentifiable.

Today we ate at Vapiano in Mall of the Netherlands, but unfortunately had a very bad experience. My friend ordered a pasta carbonara, but the meat wasn't cooked properly and the plate smelled unpleasant (a foul, sea-air smell). After asking for a new plate, to our surprise, she received a pasta carbonara with salmon, even though she's allergic to it. This is very sloppy and can even be dangerous. The receipt showed what she had ordered, but they didn't check it. We called the manager and eventually requested a refund for one order, which we thankfully received. Even that was brought to us by a friendly employee instead of the manager himself. No apology or any sign of service from the manager. It would have been nice if the manager had apologized. But he never came back, didn't even look at us, and avoided our table. My own pasta pomodoro was tasteless and colorless, and the pizza margherita was pale and bland. For the prices you pay, you'd expect much better quality. Tables are also cleaned with the same cloth without rinsing, which isn't very hygienic. Furthermore, a large portion of the staff doesn't speak Dutch, meaning everything has to be explained in English, and your order gets completely wrong. They also barely make eye contact, so you have to approach the staff yourself; everyone wanders around aimlessly. All in all: high prices, poor service, poor food quality, and absolutely no customer focus. We won't be using Vapiano in Leidschendam anymore. We give it 0 stars!

Ordered takeout. Supposed to be penne with chicken, mushrooms, pine nuts, and spinach in a creamy sauce. Well, the chicken flew off the shelves like crazy. Unfortunately, I couldn't find any mushrooms, and there were only three whole spinach leaves and a few pine nuts. So, not worth the money at all. It was a shame it could have been so good. The staff was friendly, but I think we'll look for something else next time.

The pasta was delicious, as usual from Vapiano! A super sweet lady prepared it for us, and we even got the little ones an ice cream to finish off the meal. Absolutely fantastic. 🤍👌

It was delicious and the seating was comfortable. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We especially liked the ordering system, which we hadn't experienced before: you order and pay at your table via your phone, and then everything is brought to you. This makes it very pleasant and hassle-free. Very good!

We waited around 40 minutes for food, after that we asked for bread. They said 'we are not selling anymore'. That is okay, but I askes to clean the table because it was very dirty. The woman by the kassa said that I have to sit somewhere else? I asked her why, Her answer was 'I dont have the staff to clean. How is this a clean restaurant then? 😂

Waiting 45 minutes for one pizza...the wife had already finished eating. Don't go here if you want to stay healthy.

Nice to have a look and eat something

I've been to several of your branches and always had positive experiences. Unfortunately, this time I had a slightly less positive experience. We had to wait a long time for our order and then received the wrong one, although we did receive a polite apology. Unfortunately, the food was lukewarm. Otherwise, it was very tasty, as always. The second point is the sign at the entrance offering a student discount. I was immediately enthusiastic about this offer, but when I tried to sign up, it turned out it was only for university students. I found this very disappointing and actually think this shouldn't be advertised if it doesn't apply to every student. It doesn't feel entirely fair.

At the entrance, there's a sign saying you have to wait until someone helps you, but once you're helped, you can "just sit down." However, almost all the tables were still full of plates, and no one seemed in a hurry to clear the table, even though it wasn't busy at all. I eventually asked someone to clean the table, which thankfully happened kindly. Ordering via QR code is convenient, and the drinks arrived quickly. Unfortunately, the food took a very long time to arrive. My friend and I ordered at the same time: her pasta arrived after 30 minutes, mine after 45. And this despite the fact that it wasn't busy, there were only two people preparing pasta. Truly disappointing. The food tasted fine and the portions were good, but the service and the wait time left much to be desired. It was also boiling hot inside, which didn't make things any better.

There was no staff to greet me. I ordered with the QR code. The food was tasteless, and the bacon should be nice and crispy. These were large, soft chunks. Yuck, I left the food. Again, no visible staff to report this. I ended up leaving without eating, unfortunately.
