And again, the food was delicious. Not your average Italian, not your average price… well worth the money. Attentive service and delicious!

We had a wonderful lunch with four people. What beautiful dishes and what a lovely wine list. We chose a white wine, not too heavy, from Northern Italy. It paired perfectly with the pasta.

The sandwiches are way too expensive for what you get. The service was anything but friendly; you don't feel welcome. The sandwiches simply don't taste right, and they're dripping with oil. Such a shame; I won't be back.

Very nice eggplant parmigiana and panini

A sparsely filled Vitello Tonnato sandwich. Only three thin slices on the bun, so you can't taste the meat at all, and that for €11.50. The sandwich itself would have been nice with capers. But from now on, add two extra slices so you can really taste the meat.

Really delicious food, but expensive

Yesterday we had a wonderful meal at Osteria Elpidio in Voorburg – an absolute must for lovers of authentic Italian cuisine! Every dish was fresh, carefully prepared, and bursting with flavor. You can truly taste the passion for the craft in every bite. What made this lunch extra special was Nadia's warm welcome and hospitality. What a fantastic hostess! Warm, attentive, and with a genuine passion for the restaurant and her guests. She makes you feel right at home. All the dishes were excellent. A charming place with a relaxed Italian atmosphere.

Friendly service, she came to welcome us and explained the menu in detail and let us make our choice at our leisure. We spent a bit of money, but we had things like lobster and squid. Which was very well prepared! The service came every now and then to check if everything was to our liking and took the time to have a chat. We sat outside on a kind of patio/in a garden while eating. There weren't many tables, but that made it cozy. Definitely recommended!

A-ma-zing! Rarely do you come across a restaurant where everything is just right, but here it was. The atmosphere was warm and stylish and the food was simply fantastic. The service was equally impressive. Attentive, genuinely friendly and with an eye for detail and good recommendations for food and wine. The staff made sure that we felt completely pampered. Best Italian food I had since a long time! Restaurant with just a few tables but that makes the experience better. Lots of personal attention from the people and in for a laugh! Complementary wines. The burrata cavolo nero was so tasteful. I could eat a whole plate! The slow cooked ragu was from another world… huge portion and could even take home. Most visit! Every week different menu

Nadia was our waitress,her front of house welcome was very warm and professional. She then proceeded to talk to us in depth about the menu and knew every detail of what was in each dish and described how it was cooked, bravo. This was exceptional high-quality Italian food. The menu was not vast but so so substantial and I think therein lies the success of Osteria Elpidio, they make really authentic Italian and to do so you need only a select few items on the menu, this owner knows their business 👏👏👏 Grazie molto to both Nadia and her Italian waiter assistant. A wonderful experience.10/10

We had wonderful service - bit of an oops on our part reservation wise - they greeted us and allowed us to stay! Watched as our appetizers were made in front of us and everything tasted great! Menu was word of mouth and had to pay attention to what was on offer. We each had primi but no time for secondi. The primi dishes were so tasty.

We made a mistake and reserved for the wrong date. The staff was lovely and made room for us at the bar. The food was absolutely fantastic, real Italian. Perfect pasta, lovely antipasto, yummy desserts. Great place to have dinner!

Cozy restaurant. Fresh, clearly homemade and tasty pasta, but way too expensive for the amount on your plate. 26.5 euros for a pasta that could actually be served as a starter is simply too much.

Everything delicious! I had a tricolore (sandwich with mozzarella, tomato, basil and good olive oil) and a torta al limone (lemon tart). Delicious! My friend had a vitello tonnato sandwich, he was also pleased. Top spot!

We had a great dinner at this Osteria in Voorburg. Antipasto to start the meal to follow with a nice cannenolli bolognese and to conclude with a fantastic tiramisu. Wine that was recommended was outstanding!! Thank you Osteria Elpidio!!

Yesterday I had the pleasure of dining at Osteria Elpidio restaurant, and I must say it was a wonderful experience. The tortellini was absolutely delicious, perfectly prepared and full of flavour. The service was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere was super cozy, with a warm and inviting ambiance. I can definitely recommend Osteria Elpidio for a delicious dinner in a relaxed and hospitable environment.

Authentic, small-scale Italian restaurant with a different menu every week. The menu is handwritten on a chalkboard, without using menus on the table. Delicious dishes, desserts and wines. The waiter was friendly, but only spoke Italian and could not communicate in Dutch or English, which made it difficult to inquire about certain things.

The quick spur of the moment lunch that I was treated to by my bosses was fabulous because of the quality and and flavor of the food here. I would highly recommend the truffel ravioli. Delicate, creamy and very flavourful. It was amazing! The waitress and chef were authentic Italian with a fun and friendly personality. If I were sitting outside in the sun and had closed my eyes I would have thought I was somewhere charming in Italy enjoying a plate of authentically delicious food. They also have a pick up menu. For a very good price you get a main dish, bread, a little wine. I'm looking forward to trying it out. You know what I will be ordering!

Osteria Elpido! Absolutely great!

Like having a piece of Napoli in Voorburg. Great food, great people and reasonably priced. They have daily menus based on the produce that's available and fresh. My wife and I love to come here.

Pasta del Giorno was "L'amatriciana". It was delicious, crispy guanciale, nice large penne and very tasty sauce. Recommended.

Delicious food! The pasta vongole cooked perfectly and all the mussels and vongole were good. The salmon was deliciously prepared, juicy and not dry. And for dessert we had a combination of different pastries, each of which was a delight for the palate.

What comes out of this kitchen borders on the unbelievable. You don't get more Italian and fresh than here. So do you fancy fresh tortellini with ricotta and spinach with wild mushrooms and real truffle? Then you have to go to Voorburg quickly! Once you taste it and you'll be hooked.. :-)

This is finally AUTHENTIC DELICIOUS ITALIAN FOOD. Price is absolutely fair for the quality you get = Fresh Italian ingredients of the best quality. This is truly a perfect place to enjoy a great dinner in a cozy and happy atmosphere. For an Italian expat, a place like this is simply paradise. Thank you guys!

Heerlijk eten. Italiaanse sfeer. Gezellig. Wel forse prijzen.

Op het eerste gezicht lijkt het heel wat. Kasten vol wijn, rijk gevulde vitrine en vrolijke Italiaanse bediening. Maar op een hele avond blijkt die vrolijke bediening te zorgen voor heel wat lawaai. En dat is gewoon niet nodig voor een fijne sfeer. Ze roepen diverse teksten vanuit de keuken door de hele zaak naar voren. En dat maakt dat de gasten hard moeten praten om elkaar te verstaan. De kaart is beperkt maar dat is geen probleem. Alleen zijn de ingrediënten niet authentiek. Antipasti fantasieloos met standaard producten van de groothandel. Pasta is goed, de frutti di mare voorgekookt en de hele avond ongekoeld in de keuken. Risotto is een relatief kleine hoeveelheid in veel te groot onverwarmd bord. Die koelt dus razendsnel af. Voor water reken je bijna 7 euro af en voor vijf sneetjes ongevraagd brood 2,50. Beetje te commercieel. Al met al een pretentieus restaurant dat de verwachtingen niet waar kan maken. Prijs kwaliteit verhouding erg ongunstig. Zal er niet gauw teruggaan

Food was good and the staff is friendly. I had the Parmigiana di melanzane. I found the prices a bit on the high side but then again I live in Italy and should not compare.

Excellent food and excellent service. The staff are great and the food is delicious. We appreciated the great customer service and great suggestions for wine and grappa. We ate the seafood linguine with lobster - fresh and delicious. My wife had the lamb and it was wonderfully prepared. We definitely recommend!

Exagérément cher pour une prestation aussi médiocre. Dire merci et au revoir quand vos clients quittent votre établissement c’est la base d’une bonne éducation.

The waiter was rude and disorganized and the service was poor. My friend and I had just finished our main course and we still had wine and water but all they cared about was asking if we wanted coffee or cappuccino and were not friendly. Approach us not just once but several times! They came over and asked if they could clear the plates while we were still eating dessert, I assumed they were new employees but I felt so uncomfortable and just wanted to leave immediately. This is not my first time but sorry it will be my last.

Eten is echt serieus goed. Vers, smaakvol en met liefde bereid. Service en sfeer zijn net zo goed als de geserveerde producten. Wellicht ietsjes duurder dan men gewend is, maar dubbel en dwars waard. 100% aanrader en een gemiste kans om de echte Italiaanse keuken te proeven als je besluit niet te gaan. DOEN dus!

Great wines, great food (real spaghetti carbonara and it is to die for). Beautiful tiramisu and even better canolo siciliano. Yes it’s a bit noisy and chaotic but that makes it so pure and authentic Italian. Just sit back, enjoy and let it happen the Italian way!

Ci siamo gia stati piu volte e abbiamo sempre mangiato benissimo. 20 coperti circa, un cuoco e ragazzi in sala...un team perfetto! Parmigiana e antipato misto per noi il meglio per assaporare l italia, i dolci buoni ma meglio le portate. Vino e bibite italiane di qualità! Mi fa impazzire che anche con gli olandesi loro parlano in napoletano e loro rispondono! :) Super consigliato!!!

Everything tastes delicious, there is no compromise in quality and the owners are always friendly and helpful. Must try’s are Tartufato, Antipasti and pasta of the day (changes often)

Klein restaurant waardoor er veel aandacht is voor de klant en eten. Bij mooi weer kan je ook achter in de tuin zitten of voor de winkel (paar zitplaatsen) Alles wordt vers bereidt en dat kan je ook zien omdat de keuken open is. Elke dag een andere beperkte kaart . Je kan ook afhalen of dat stuk heerlijke dessert meenemen als 2 gangen voldoende waren. Personeel ook allemaal erg aardig en attent
