After the move, they have an attractive location on Herenstraat itself. The service is friendly and polite. The food is very tasty and has a good price-quality ratio.

We sat on the terrace, trying to contact the staff. They don't like us and just continue talking calmly with others. It went on like this for at least fifteen minutes.

Waited almost 2 hours for two pizzas and baguette with herb butter. Restaurant cannot be reached by telephone, non-stop conversation. Tried more than 25 times. The note when ordering “please without onions” was not read, so we received a pizza with onions, after which the phone was not answered. Baguette herb butter is a container of oil with herbs, it will probably have melted and leaked nicely with multiple orders delivered, but that is of no use to us. Pizza base is indeed just like a sponge as described in other reviews.

Delivery was excellent and fast; However, the pizza base looked like a sponge, just bad and the pasta carbonara was unappetizing: no bacon, only weak sauce. Really not worth repeating at all. In a restaurant I had sent everything back. While in the past we were always used to good quality.

What a bizarre setting. Next to us was a container with dusty, discolored plastic plants, behind me a dull aquarium with 2 guppies and a fireplace with broken tiles. The walls had those bad paintings and dirty mirrors and the ceiling was dirty green. I felt like I was on the 1982 Bud Spencer and Terrence Hill film set. What a stupid old thing! After I got home I immediately threw all my clothes in the wash to get rid of that musty smell. So I will never come back here again. P.s. the food was also mediocre.

Had a nice meal at Fratelli. It became quiet around 9 p.m. regarding guests, but we were able to stay seated and even received a limoncello from the company. Nice seats, nice music. Delicious, uncomplicated dining!

Nice building, good neat and friendly service

We come from the restaurant business ourselves (more than 40 years of experience). So we think something of this... - The bread with spreads was hard. Otherwise fine. - The main courses were delicious! Enjoyed very much. Compliments! But we also experienced some negatives and some points of interest to share: - The entrance was not clearly visible (if you are not from the area) and there were 10 girls blocking the door. It is that you or your employee just came out that we knew there was a door there and we had to squeeze in. - We got a table by the window. The group sitting at the table behind us took up so much extra space that we were literally pushed into a corner. Even when they left the table or put on vests, we had them thrown at us. A chair in the back, or a vest on your head, is not exactly nice. - This tightness was also emphasized when your waiter came several times to serve something on a tray to the other table behind us and the tray came over our heads or remained floating until he had removed the drinks. Very unpleasant. That space there by the window is too tight and really not suitable for the layout or the number of seats. - The chairs with a rounded top make it difficult for women to place/hang their handbag over it. Keeps slipping away. We didn't think laying it on the ground was an option in this tight space. So let's sit on my lap. But it is unpleasant to have to eat your meal like this. You might do that in a snack bar. - The room was well filled when we were there. However, it became very stuffy and warm while it was quite chilly outside. There is no ventilation to be felt/noticeable and it made us physically miserable and very hot. That's why we didn't have dessert because we wanted to leave as quickly as possible. Afterwards we also understood why the table behind us kept sitting outside and left the table so often. - The fries served with one of the dishes looked like uncooked white. That in itself was unappetizing, but in terms of taste it was absolutely not good. I think it should have been baked a little longer. - The tenderloin was clearly not tenderloin. A connoisseur knows that it should melt in your mouth. A chef should feel when the meat is cut into strips that it is too tough and NOT use that piece. We had to spit out so much because it was too tough. I was able to send the entire dish back. Then don't call it 'tenderloin'. - The grilled vegetables (or oven vegetables) also had little taste. Why we got it included, I have no idea. It added nothing. Lots of room for improvement.

Ate pasta with seafood. The razors were rubber and the pasta could have been warmer. The vitello tonato was tasty. Dessert: a lemon sorbet with fresh fruit, strawberries requested. Received a lemon sorbet with strawberry sorbet with apple and 1 piece of kiwi. Very disappointed .

Had my 1st visit without a reservation with a lot of children. We received great help, very professional and customer-friendly. The food arrived at the same time and was delicious too. Definitely worth it and highly recommended!

The other day I was in this place, in which I went with my partner and we ordered some starters, the food and drinks, the starters and drinks took a little longer than normal, and the food never came , we were waiting for more than 1 hour and we had to leave without being able to eat, which I do not understand since the place was not very full, and there was the waitresss who attended us sitting with the cell phone without doing anything, other customers who arrived after that they didn't serve them the food either and had to get up to ask the waitress, in short a fatal service, I don't know what failed there if it was the fault of the waitress or the cook, because supposedly the waitress took the order, I felt disappointed since it seemed like a good place and the dishes I could see looked good, the starters that at least I could try were good but they made me was lose my time

We won't come here again. Guests who often come here are served perfectly and the rest does not exist. FYI: There were a total of 3 occupied tables including the four of us! Started by forgetting the bread but that can happen fine. Our drinks were finished before the food was served and we were asked several times if we wanted something to drink and whether everything was to our liking, etc. Then we waited half an hour for the dessert menu and drinks (!) and after waiting another half hour for the RECORDING we left the order. It's a shame that there is one blond young lad who has to do all the work. If he also dropped something, his colleague shouted “karma”? Special atmosphere and not worth repeating. Food wasn't special either.

I wouldn’t recommend you going to this location, it isn’t worth it. I have been to their other restaurant in Leidschendam a couple of times without any complaints, this restaurant is a whole different story. The food is ok, but the service is really poor here. We ordered bread 10 minutes after being seated, we only got it after asking it again after waiting for 30 minutes. The staff never asked if we wanted new drinks even after we long finished ours. Then after receiving the main course we never got the chance to order a dessert because the staff was more worried about walking around and talking to their “loyal” costumer's. Mind you that the four of us were amongst the last 6 costumer's. I started to get really frustrated when one of the staff member decided to go sit down and talk to the other 2 costumer’s that were left instead of checking in with us. So we decided to leave instead of getting the desserts we wanted. In my opinion it’s not worth it to go here, the food is ok but the service is not.

New place, nice and cozy, still great service and a top chef and maestro Mateo at the pizza oven!

I'm never coming back. Had to wait 15 minutes for water and a cocktail (it wasn't so busy). We ordered food, starters came half hour after that, but the main dishes never came. 1 hour waiting for the food and then 2 guys that came after us got their pizzas, incredible.... Then I asked our waitress for the bill (she was sitting with the phone) and someone else brought the bill with the food THEY DIDNT PREPARE. I don't recommend this place at all, Julia was the name of our waitress in case a manager sees this. So sad I had to leave a restaurant being hungry, I shouldn't have paid the starters.... I will only go back in case they want to invite me to try their Ravioli I wanted to eat today, otherwise I'm not giving a second chance. I hope this helps somebody. Edit: I'm disappointed because it looked like a good place, but that waitress made it a bad experience. The same people who got their food before us, had to stand up and walk to the waitress so she could take the order, because she wasn't paying attention to any of us. I'm sorry for her, but someone has to explain to her how to do her job properly, or the restaurant should decrease prices because of the poor service.

What bad service! Please reserve and be present at 6 p.m. The food had just finished and we were already asked to make room for the next customers. Even a desert was no longer possible. I have never experienced this before, we were simply sent away to make room. Last time I went to this restaurant.

Had a nice meal with a group of 11 people. Too bad the toilet wasn't fresh, the toilet roll was loose.

Good italian restaurant. On a Thursday evening packed as if it was the weekend such that the service, while still good and friendly, was maybe a bit less relaxed than needed to make it perfect.

Nice Italian restaurant with a family and cozy atmosphere. In addition to tables, there are a few cozy seating areas with a table. Staff very friendly. 1 cheerful and hardworking cook in the narrow kitchen. When it's busy it takes a little longer before the food is ready. Lots of choice. Excellent food. Pizza base not crispy thin, but not a thick hunk of bread either. Medium in thickness.

The staff was very friendly. The food was not special but tasty. We got a different pasta than we ordered and a pizza came later than all the other dishes. For the rest it was a cozy and authentic Italian restaurant.

Food was delicious. Good quality and nice and fresh. Highly recommended. The building itself was a bit noisy and some small things went wrong in the service. But that didn't spoil the fun.

Na drie pizza met het gezin te hebben gegeten hadden wij alle drie savonds diaree totaan de volgende dag laat on de middag. Volgende keer een andere pizzeria

Wij zaten tegenover de bar omdat wij van rust houden en in de andere zaal was het erg druk. Nadeel was dat je dan wel tussen de kletsende collega's zit. Service was verder echt prima, eten was echt ontzettend lekker en de prijs was top. Mijn dochter heeft Coeliakie en vooraf heb ik gebeld of zij iets kon eten. De kok dacht gelijk mee en vertelde uit zichzelf dat hij de werkplek schoon ging maken en zorgen dat hij niks anders zal aanraken. Dat geeft een fijn gevoel. Ze had voor het hoofdgerecht alleen keuze uit Pizza en helaas was dat een shar bodem. Eentje die absoluut geen favoriet is van mijn dochter. Voor ons is dit dus geen herhaling waard maar dat heeft echt met de smaak van de shar bodem te maken, voor de rest is het echt een goed, gezellig en betaalbaar restaurant.

We kwamen binnen en niemand groette ons, duurde best lang voor we geholpen werden terwijl er gereserveerd was. Daarna hebben we 25 minuten zitten wachten voordat er iemand kwam die ons aandacht gaf zodat we om de kaart konden vragen. Weer 25 minuten later hadden we eindelijk iemands aandacht getrokken om te kunnen bestellen... erg jammer zo'n ontvangst en lange wachttijd. Gelukkig was het eten wel erg lekker, dat maakte het een beetje goed. Na het dessert hebben we 40 minuten niemand gezien, hadden best nog een drankje gewild, toen maar zelf om de rekening gaan vragen. Denk niet dat ik snel terug ga.

Fantastisch gegeten in dit nieuwe restaurant. Echt heerlijk gegeten. Personeel was nieuw en moest er in komen. Maar het eten heeft veel goed gemaakt

We hadden de carpaccio, veel pezen. Heeeel erg jammer. We waren er op een maandag en kregen het idee dat de bediening echt in de leer was. Niet echt een probleem maar soms wel beetje jammer

Eten was heerlijk. Kwam niemand aan de tafel of we nog wat wilde drinken. Wc was echt te smerig. Gingen een tafel afruimen en lieten een lepel liggen voor de volgende gasten. Mensen werden zonder reden weg gestuurd terwijl er nog plek was. Barman zat aan zijn neus en pakte met dezelfde hand ijsblokjes. Jammer want het eten was heerlijk. Wij komen hier niet meer

Gisteravond met mijn gezin hier gegeten en genoten van de "nieuwe" Fratelli: prachtige sfeerverlichting en meubilair. Zeer vriendelijke bediening onder leiding van Tim. Vooraf hadden we de antipasti Fratelli, Gamberi Aglio en Olio en de Caprese salade. De antipasti is echt een aanrader, hierin proeft u een een beetje van alle voorgerechten. De vitello tonato is erg lekker. De Aperol Spritz was goed gemixt, de wijnen (Pinot Grigio en Primitivo) pasten erg goed bij de gerechten die mijn vrouw en ik kozen. Wij gingen voor de filet steak met perpersaus en de gegrilde dorade. De kinderen gingen voor de Penne met biefstukpuntjes en de kipschnitzel met friet. Aan het einde hadden we nog een grand dessert, koffie en grappa. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

Erg mooi ingerichte zaak. Vriendelijk personeel.

Het was er erg druk en het personeel kon het niet aan, als je wat te drinken vroeg duurde het te lang, vroeg 3 x om ijsklontjes maar 1 x gehad. Personeel snapt er echt niets van en kan het niet aan. Beetje ongeordend allemaal. Overvolle tafels wel langs komen met je bestelling maar de lege spullen die meegenomen kunnen worden gewoon laten staan. Het eten was oké, mijn voorgerecht was koud. De eigenaar zei dan had ik iemand er over moeten aan spreken. Wij zaten in een afgelegen hoekje waar het personeel ons niet goed zag zitten en ze kwamen weinig langs. Ze doen hun best maar het is het net niet!

Ik begrijp niet waarom dit restaurant zo afgeladen-vol zit. Huis-tuin-en-keuken "Italiaan", te vol, te warm, te veel lawaai en pasta overcooked. De salade was wel supervers maar dat kan niet anders als je zoveel gasten hebt op een avond. Staff heel vriendelijk Ik ga niet meer terug

Zitten in een nieuw pand met behulpzaam personeel. Zijn nog niet echt op elkaar ingespeeld. Wel snel eten en vriendelijk maar nog een beetje rommelig. Zou ook wat aan de muren hangen bij drukke wordt het lawaaiig. Eten prima.

Prima prijs kwaliteit. Veel keus.

Het restaurant zat erg vol, het personeel had moeite om alle tafels bij te houden en zij voerde onderling discussies. Tafels werden laat afgeruimd en de vaat stapelde zich op. Lang moeten wachten op een drankje en de maaltijden vielen tegen. Al met al was het geen ontspannen avond weg. Heel jammer, want eerdere ervaringen waren wel goed.

Wordt tijd voor de verhuizing. Is echt oud en versleten .

Op een zondag avond hebben wij hier met 3 personen gegeten. Het was erg rustig en er hing niet echt een leuke sfeer, maar die kan je natuurlijk zelf creëren :). De bediening verliep in het begin wat stroef, maar uiteindelijk werden wij door een hele aardige meneer bediend en hebben wij tevens ook lekker gegeten. Goede porties voor de prijs! Bij de pasta werd aangegeven dat dit aan tafel bereidt zou worden, maar dit gebeurde helaas niet. Maar dat maakte de smaak niet minder! Prima adresje om lekker wat te eten.

een gedateerde ruimte met viezig tapijt, gebroken vloertegels, rare verlichting, slechte decoratie ( wat staat er in die grote vazen, wat hangt er in godsnaam aan de muur voor schilderijtjes, wel kandelaartjes op alle tafels maar niet aangestoken) maar vooral: vies. gore spetters op de muur bij ons tafeltje en er hingen zelfs spinnewebben aan de lamp boven ons tafeltje. de muren zijn verkleurd, beschadigd. kortom: een trieste ruimte, slecht onderhouden, dringend toe aan een opknapbeurt. over t eten: de vitello tonato was slecht. de tonato smaakte vooral naar mayonaise/ frietsaus, niet naar tonijn. de vitello was aan de droge kant. en wat deed die rare salade op dat bord?? de cozze al forno was ronduit smerig. de mosselen smakeloos, de saus ook. te weinig kaas, stukken rauwe knoflook. ik heb t terug gestuurd en kreeg nauwelijks beter terug. wat deed die citroen erbij?? de tomatensaus was al zurig. gelukkig was t hoofdgerecht beter. t kalfsvlees met salie en wittewijnsaus was goed van smaak, de saus een beetje geschift maar lekker. de ossobucco ook goed met een tomatensaus en spaghetti die goed al dente was. fe toilet was redelijk schoon. al met al te duur voor wat je ervoor krijgt.

Fijne italiaans restaurant met familiare en knusse sfeer. Naast tafels een paar knusse zithoekjes met tafel. Personeel zeer vriendelijk. 1 vrolijke en hardwerkende kok in de smalle keuken. Bij drukte duurt het net even langer, voordat het eten klaar is. Veel keuze. Prima eten. Pizzabodem niet krokant dun, maar ook geen dikke homp brood. Middenmaatje qua dikte.

Vandaag wezen eten bij Fratelli in Voorburg. Een zeer volle zaak en maar 1 bediende in de zaak voor de drank, eten, dessert en koffie. Zonder dar er iemand lang hoefde te wachten was het er zeer fijn om te eten. Dank voor de goede, vlotte en snelle bediening.

Heel vriendelijk personeel, heerlijk eten, goede service, maar het restaurant zelf mag wel een beetje onderhoud krijgen. Was wat oudbollig.
