Bad experience Onion in the carbonara?! We ate here this week as a couple, but unfortunately, this was a one-time thing and never again. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara, but it was absolutely tasteless. To my surprise, there was onion mixed in. That absolutely does not belong in this dish. I don't know what the cook was doing, but he was apparently suffering badly from the heat that evening. Not recommended.

Sometimes very tasty, sometimes very basic, prices are reasonable, but for Italiano Perfecto you have to go somewhere else.

Sitting and enjoying a lovely four-course dinner on the terrace together with my daughter. The food was delicious, the service extremely friendly, and thanks to the spacious layout of the terrace, you don't have to look at your neighbors' plates.

We ate with a fork, so luckily we got a discount. The pizzas were bland, but the main course, chicken with garlic, was a particular disappointment. For 30 euros, you get two pieces of chicken with barely any meat on them and three dry pieces of baguette. When I pointed this out to the waiter, he responded with two "yes okay." He didn't seem to take it seriously at all. Going out to eat at these prices/portions and being served this way is disappointing. Paying isn't a problem, but I expect more. Very unfortunate.

Super Social Deal: 2-course dinner for 15. Fresh, homemade products. Highly recommended!

Had a super delicious meal together with my wife, everything was tasty, especially the small fish, the prawns, actually everything, the many shades of red were SUPER beautiful, and what beautiful paintings on the wall with so many famous people from the past, friendly staff so VERY SATISFIED 🍷🍷🍷

Nice restaurant in Voorburg. The staff was friendly and very accommodating regarding my dietary restrictions. I was able to eat gluten-free, lactose-free, and without the garlic family (onion, garlic, leek, etc.) here. The food was still delicious. If you have any dietary restrictions, it is wise to contact them in advance so they can prepare for it. Thanks for the hospitality and the delicious food!

Fine restaurant and the quality of the food is good, but unfortunately it is really very expensive for what you get. We went with 4 people and all four of us were really surprised by the very small portions compared to the price. If I have to pay almost 300 euros at a restaurant and then still have to go to McDonald's because we are all still hungry, I think something is going wrong somewhere. And we aren't even big eaters. Never again for us! We had 3 courses and only the dessert was worth it. If I order the tournedos for almost 40 euros as a main course and I get a truly minimal piece of meat with 1 green asparagus, 5 small potatoes and a small head of broccoli, I really can't call that a main course. I expressed my dissatisfaction and when the answer I get is "yes sir, I understand that," then that is really the end of it for me. My advice: do not go to this restaurant. Very unfortunate ..... March 18, 2026 By now, more than a week has passed and Donati has responded with a standard hospitality response stating that the small quantity and high price are due to the high quality of their ingredients. They also claimed the portions were designed for 3 courses so that people wouldn't overeat. I need to add to my message, because that means you have to go to McDonald's in any case if you don't order a starter and dessert..... I have truly been to hundreds of restaurants in my life and this was certainly not the worst, but definitely not haute cuisine either, which might possibly justify the very small portions.... I really don't expect a gluttony factory, but if all four of us feel it isn't enough, then that is simply the case and the restaurant should perhaps do something about it...

I was there with my son on February 14th; my husband unfortunately had appointments in Germany. The reservation through "TheFork" went smoothly, but when I wanted to change the number of people from three to two, I couldn't find a way to do it, not even in the app. We had a very friendly waitress who handled our "problem" all the better, even though all the tables were reserved. We started with delicious bread, focaccia (?) with two dips; my son almost ate just that. For the appetizer, the burrata was very good. For the main course, my son had a large pizza, which he almost finished by himself. I dared to order pasta, even though it's often much too soft elsewhere. And my courage was rewarded. The "Linguine Gamberetti alla Diavola" was even a touch more than al dente, so incredibly perfect and delicious. Spicy, but not so spicy that you couldn't taste the other ingredients. I absolutely loved these noodles. We had rosé with them, a perfect choice. And the whole time we had a very attentive waitress by our side. For dessert, we had tiramisu and chocolate lava cake. The tiramisu was different than usual, but fantastic. The sponge cake had just the right amount of liquid; it wasn't stale anywhere, and there wasn't a single dry bit. Even the coffee was really delicious and barely acidic. We really hope to be able to come back soon, the three of us, and have the good fortune to meet that same waitress again. Your meal was also great.

One of the worst restaurant service experiences we have had anywhere in the world. We made a reservation through TheFork and even arrived earlier than our reserved time. The staff told us they were busy and asked us to come back later, which we understood, so we returned about 20 minutes later. When we came back, my husband entered first with our 2.5-year-old son. At the same time, a white couple walked in after us. However, the waitress immediately served and seated the white couple first, even though we had clearly entered before them. When it was finally our turn, we were told there was no table available because our reservation was for two people but we were three. Our child is only a toddler, yet we were asked to wait at the bar. What made this even more confusing was that there were empty tables in the restaurant, and some of them remained empty during the 20–30 minutes we waited. Seeing that the restaurant was very busy, I even suggested that we could order takeaway instead of waiting. However, we were told that only pizza and pasta were available for takeaway. When I politely asked why other dishes were not available, no explanation was given. Overall the staff’s attitude was unfriendly and dismissive. The way we were treated compared to other guests made us feel very unwelcome. I hope the restaurant reflects on how customers are treated so that other families and visitors do not have to go through the same experience. Update after the restaurant’s response: Thank you for your reply. However, your explanation does not fully reflect what we experienced that evening. You mentioned that the issue was due to our reservation being for two people while we arrived with three. Our third guest was our 2.5-year-old toddler, which many restaurants usually accommodate without difficulty. More importantly, despite having a reservation for two people, we were not offered even a table for two during the time we waited. We could also have the toddler sit on laps and have food, after all he is tiny human, or we could have food at the bar. But nothing was offered. While we were waiting, there were several empty tables in the restaurant, and some of them remained empty during the 20–30 minutes we were there. From a customer’s perspective, this made the situation very confusing. Another part of the experience that was particularly uncomfortable was the way guests were seated. When we came back, my husband entered first with our toddler, and another couple entered after us. However, that couple was immediately seated while we were still waiting. The couple appeared to be Europeans , and being served after we had clearly entered first made the situation feel unfair and very uncomfortable. Seeing that the restaurant was busy, we even suggested ordering takeaway instead in order not to cause inconvenience. However, we were told that only pizza and pasta were available for takeaway, and when we politely asked why other dishes were not available, no explanation was given. We fully understand that restaurants can be busy and delays can happen. What disappointed us most was the lack of clear communication and the dismissive attitude we experienced at the time. We hope the restaurant reflects on this experience so that all guests, including families with young children and international visitors, feel equally welcomed.

We had a fine meal, but it wasn't anything special. Unfortunately, the food here used to be better. The many dogs in the restaurant were very noticeable. One sat on a guest's lap and hung over the table the whole time. The table next to us had a large cart with dogs in it that smelled terrible. That is really unacceptable…. We smelled the foul odor all evening!

Very disappointing. Upon entering, I felt like I was in a fast-food restaurant. But okay. I ordered the bruschetta and vitello tonnato appetizers. The quality of both was reasonable. However, the portion size was far below expectations, given the €16.50 price tag. For my main course, I had the risotto. It was well-cooked, but the flavor was very bland and rather tasteless. The menu said it was a large portion, but I can't confirm that here either. My partner's spaghetti carbonara was also subpar. This was also mentioned when I asked if it was to my liking. But I was immediately dismissed with "no, that's how it should be." As if we don't know what it should taste like. After this experience, I didn't feel like having dessert. I was out again within 40 minutes.

Great service , good food we got a 4 deal course from social deal very worth the money. They only thing I would say is that the soup was extremely small portion and the water is charged normal even tho it was from the tap that was the thing that dissatisfied us. Everything else was perfect. Atmosphere was really good.

Ate here with a group deal. Surprisingly delicious food, reasonable wine, and friendly service. We started with fried calamari and picanthas, which were delicious. Main course: Ossebuco alla Milanese, delicious, and the spare ribs, excellent. Dessert: Vesuvia and Sgropino al Limone, also delicious.

Oh wow! That was great! Free street parking very close by. Upon entering, I got a bit lost after the revolving doors, which could use a bit of lubrication, but there was good entertainment for the guests inside. Simple, neat tables and chairs, but very nice paintings and other wall decorations. The waiter and waitress were very good. They were very prompt with their questions. We had the chef's choice through a social deal. The food was truly fantastic. We thought the main course was very special and delicious. I thought the crème brûlée was a pleasant balance. Compliments to the chef.

We had a delicious meal, and they did everything they could to accommodate my allergy. Besides the good food and attentive service from the kitchen, our waitress, Isabella, truly made sure you left the restaurant completely satisfied. She treated us and the dog like royalty, and you could feel it was genuine, not a show. Definitely worth repeating.

Bland, undercooked pizzas, and the pasta also lacked flavor. Moreover, the pasta was barely big enough to fill a hollow tooth. Never before have I spent so much on drinks. Four euros for a soft drink, five euros for a small beer, and eight (!!!) euros for a bottle of water. Pure theft.

We come back here every other month. Every dish on the menu is truly unique and fantastic, the wine is delicious, and all at great prices. And Stephan is always super friendly. A must for good, unique Italian food!

Let me be brief, the food was not really good. Carpaccio pizza (lots of tendons in the carpaccio) and spaghetti bolognese (was very wet. Reheated?). The atmosphere left the building in the 60s. This used to be a really good restaurant, nowadays there is not much left of that. Too bad. The tiramisu was very tasty, and the service was good.

Op een vrijdagavond hebben wij een zeer slechte ervaring gehad bij dit restaurant. Wij kwamen om iets voor 21.00 aan en hadden speciaal dit restaurant gekozen omdat de keuken volgens de site tot 22.00 open zou zijn. We werden echter bij de deur geweerd omdat de keuken al gesloten was. Toen ik zei dat op de site stond dat die tot 22.00 open zou zijn ging de jongeman bij de deur de discussie daarover aan. Hij beweerde dat de keuken altijd om 21.00 sloot (en het restaurant zelf om 22.00) en dat dat ook op de site stond. Toen ik hem wees op de site (waar letterlijk staat dat de keuken om 22.00 sluit) zei hij dat dat alleen gold voor mensen die gereserveerd hadden, wat mij een heel vreemd verhaal lijkt. Ook had dat dan duidelijk op de site moeten staan. De toon waarop wij werden aangesproken was erg onvriendelijk en eigenlijk ronduit onbeschoft. Het management was niet aanwezig en op de mail die ik achteraf gestuurd heb is niet gereageerd.

We hadden een rustige tafel voor vier personen gereserveerd maar toen we daar aankwamen, bleek het dat we naast een drukke tafel met 10 personen zaten ...nou ja, wilden we verder niet moelijk doen. Mijn man had een vis pizza besteld en kreeg een verkeerde pizza, de pizza werd opnieuw gemaakt maar inmiddels waren wij bijna klaar met eten. Hij maakte een opmerking dat het zo lang duurde en kreeg een opmerking terug, " maak jij nooit een fout" ........zo behoor je niet om te gaan met je klanten.!!! Er was geen compensatie voor het feit dat hij zo lang moeten wachten !! De pizza smaakte meer als een pannenkoek dan een pizza ! Als nagerecht hebben we cappuccino genomen, die waren lauw!! Heel slecht ervaring , we voelde ons niet goed behandeld.

The food was ice cold, there was a hair in the food, and the fish was tasteless. The sauce with the fish was downright bad and tasteless. Pizzas were below average.

Absolutely delicious food in a cozy atmosphere with friendly and competent staff. Had the carpaccio, lobster soup, saltimbocca and tiramisu and they were all amazing. Even during a busy dinner service on a Friday evening the food was both well prepared and beautifully plated.

Worst place I have eaten at in a long time. We received burnt focaccia that we sent back (the lady serving also thought it was burnt but still wanted to serve it to us). The staff knew nothing about wine and when we wanted to try the other wine that was served by the glass because we didn't like the first one, it turned out that it was not available. Which meant that only one red wine could be ordered by the glass. Really the epitome of being inhospitable. You open a bottle and serve it, right? The manager didn't want to know anything about it. And also very rigid, very unfriendly staff and the concept of the customer is king is not something they have on a tile on the wall.

The pasta was lukewarm. According to the waiter, this was because I had asked for the sauce separately. Very strange. It's just supposed to be hot, in my opinion.

I ordered the quattro formaggi pasta, but found the portion to be small for the price, and the taste didn’t quite match authentic Italian flavors. The food was decent, but the value could be improved.

We ate there for the first time. I ordered veal with truffle risotto and my husband spare ribs. My veal dish was not tasty and there was no truffle flavor in the risotto. Very unfortunate, for 25 euros I expected better quality. And speaking of spare ribs, my husband eats everything, but this time he left half a portion and that says something. Never again for us.

I had fried calamari and spare ribs, the calamari were tasty but very greasy, the spare ribs were really great, wonderfully tender, smoky, great. I would just like to give a tip, put the sauces and butter fresh in the containers, now there was a drier/yellowish layer on them

Had social deal, 3 course chef's menu. Nice reception, was immediately asked if I have any allergies, said vegetarian or vegan, preferable to meat, but it's all about what the chef wants, I chose it myself. Place is very beautiful, especially decorated in red. The service is very good and professional. Had to wait a short time for the first two courses, after the 2nd course I asked if the 3rd course could be served 15 minutes later, which was possible because I was a bit full. I had Burata as a starter which was very tasty, dessert creme brulee also very tasty, main course pasta with mushrooms, lots of cheese and truffle was reasonable, I just expected a little more. Only small points of feedback are a drinks card with text that says try a cider, but they don't have cider in their range, at least not at the moment and the revolving door is very nice and old-fashioned, but that takes a lot of effort. Makes for Not much of an issue for me, but I saw an older person struggling a bit. All in all I really enjoyed it, I will definitely consider coming back someday and trying pizza for example.

Ate here via Social Deal, 3 courses from the chef, a kind of carpaccio, risotto and crème brûlée. It was tasty, good portions and good service, nice sitting outside, nice weather, cozy. Had to look for a parking spot nearby...

Not a bad meal per se, but not very surprising either. The dishes had a fairly bland taste and the risotto did not have the right structure. Service was friendly but inexperienced and several mistakes were made. Also, the wine we drank ran out after the first bottle. All in all not bad, but certainly a lot of room for improvement.

Cozy atmosphere and good food, right in the old center of Voorburg. Nice staff, especially the service. Various Italian dishes and certainly tasty pizza. Neat and clean, spacious enough for groups. Clean Toilets. Easily accessible and parking in the turn.

Ended up here via Social Deal after a day in The Hague. We had actually had too heavy a lunch (our own fault) and could no longer cancel. But once we arrived at Donati's, we felt like eating again. Nice meal. Can compete with more luxuriously marketed Italian restaurants! Young and knowledgeable service, very nice to see. When the shop is full there is quite a bit of noise, but the owner certainly deserves this hustle and bustle.

This restaurant is not good. He cancelled our reservation and he didnt refund us just because we were 30min late. Very bad customer service and not honnest. So advice you to dont go.

Garni bij de special kerst bestond uit 5 spruitjes, 2 sliertje wortel, thee lepeltje uitjes, klein beetje aardappel. Er kon geen extra garnituur bijbesteld worden, achteraf bleek dat te duur. Wel met bijbetaling een bakje patat. En bij een wildgerecht, miste ik een stoofpeertje . Bediening was correct en vriendelijk. Kwalitatief goed.

Via Socialdeal vier vouchers gekocht voor het driegangen menu van de chef. Vooraf werd er keurig geïnformeerd of er mensen met allergieën waren en of we bepaalde gerechten niet lustten. Het menu startte met een carpaccio, deze was gegarneerd met wat pijnbootpitjes en wat truffelmayonaise. Niet echt bijzonder. Vervolgens kregen we een risotto met twee stukjes kalfsvlees in een ham gewikkeld. De risotto was erg zout en het kalfsvlees vrij hard doorgebakken. Als toetje een stukje brownie, een bolletje ijs en twee aardbeien en twee blauwe bessen. Dit geheel zou normaal € 39,50 pp. moeten kosten, echter via Socialdeal was de prijs € 19,50 pp. We vonden het diner met € 19,50 pp eigenlijk nog behoorlijk aan de prijs gezien het eten wat we kregen voorgeschoteld. Het personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

We komen hier zeer regelmatig en genieten elke keer van het eten, de vriendelijke bediening en de gezellige sfeer. Het kan af en toe wat rumoerig zijn maar met een volle zaak krijg je dat gewoon. Zeker 1 van onze favoriete restaurantjes.

Over de locatie en sfeer kunnen we kort zijn: beiden gewoon heel goed. De smaak van de bestelde pizza's was ook goed (pizza Hawaī en pizza Di Parma). Wel hadden we moeite om de pizza in stukjes te snijden. Er moest behoorlijk wat kracht op de rolmessen gezet worden om de pittig stevige bodem te doorsnijden. Als daar wat aan gedaan wordt zou ik hier ook de laatste ster gaan geven. De serveersters hadden wat mij betreft wel 6 sterren mogen krijgen. Super vriendelijk en gezellig!

Ik hoop voor iedereen dat het aan mij ligt maar ik vond het gewoon niet lekker. Gezelschap van 5 waarvan er 2 het geserveerde gerecht wel OK vonden. De zaak zit vol en dit schijnt normaal te zijn. Laten we er dan maar vanuit gaan dat het aan mij ligt en natuurlijk de 2 andere gebruikers. Personeel Is allemaal prima je merkt wel dat ze het mega (te) druk hebben. Interieur gaat wel, beschadigde meubels, een draaideur welke met 3 man in beweging gezet moet worden, smerige airco en een blik in de keuken maakte het er niet beter op. Normaal heb ik daar geen boodschap aan als het eten fantastisch is. Er zijn concurrenten nabij die het op alle vlakken beter doen dus dit uitstapje was eenmalig. Dit was slechts een momentopname dus eet u vooral smakelijk.

Gezellig restaurant met erg vriendelijk personeel. Was erg druk, eg lang wachten tussen voorgerecht én hoofdgerecht. Zeebaars veel te hard gebakken, smaak gerechten verder goed. Sociale deal viel wat tegen.

Voorgerecht Bruschetta, was een dik gesneden bruine boterham met tomatenpuree. Hoofdgerecht Spareribs.. Was een HALVE sparerib... Nagerecht Sgropinno Limone.. Moet zijn citroen sorbet, prosecco en limoen ijs. Was een glaasje met wat prosecco en daarin ergens, een bolletje ijs.. 10.50!!!.....over m'n tafelgenoten zal ik het verder niet hebben... Eten te koud, veel te veel salade over je hoofdgerecht, verkeerd gerecht... Nee, als je een avondje goed wil eten... Ga lekker naar de Mac, daar weet je van te voren dat 't niet écht lekker is

Goede vrolijke bediening. Eten prima

Piza veel te dikke bodem. Moest je met je handen eten, geen bestek😉 alleen een piza snijder. Bavette was goed en risotto ook. Muziek erg hard. Eten duurde erg lang allemaal.

Wéér uitstekend gegeten op het heerlijk zonnige terras. Telkens weer een geweldige ervaring.

Fijn terras met tot laat in de avond zonnig. Goed dat er parasols stonden. Goede selectie Italiaanse gerechten.

Lekkere oizza op, maar andere keren ook al vaker verschillende pasta's en ook de ossobucco en saltimbocca gegeten. Kortom, vaak geweest, fijne, toegankelijke plek om te komen.
