We went for the 3-course surprise menu, which is highly recommended. Ciano was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the evening, really taking the time to help us think about the dishes and which wines would pair well with them. That made it extra fun and personal for us. You can tell that real attention is paid to both the food and the guests here. We enjoyed ourselves and would love to come back again! Grazie mille!

The location is beautiful and atmospheric, but what really made the difference for us was the warmth, hospitality, and personal attention. We didn't feel like just guests; they really went out of their way to make our day *our* day. Our ceremony took place here, and afterwards we toasted, had drinks, and enjoyed an elaborate Italian meal together with our family and loved ones. And the food truly deserves a special mention: fantastic. Beautiful dishes, delicious flavors, and everything prepared and served with so much care and attention. Afterwards, we also received countless compliments from our guests regarding both the location and the food. Our wedding was small and intimate, exactly as we had envisioned it, and Villa Rozenrust turned out to be the perfect place for it. The atmosphere, the surroundings, the food, and above all the people ensured that we look back on a day that really couldn't have been more beautiful for us. The food was good. The bruschetta was once again very mediocre. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves outside, although it took a long time for the dishes to arrive. It remains a nice place to eat.

On June 14, I visited restaurant Raimondi's Villa Rozenrust to dine with a party of 11 adults and two children on the occasion of a birthday. The restaurant has a parking lot that can accommodate approximately 10 cars. My first impression was good; the restaurant looks atmospheric. We took our seats at the table around 6:20 PM. It took about 40 minutes before someone came to take our drinks order. Subsequently, it turned out that there had been a misunderstanding when making the reservation, where our group thought we would be ordering à la carte, whereas that is not the restaurant's policy. Namely, on weekends and for large groups, the chef's choice menu is always offered. Anyway, it was decided to order the starters from the chef's choice menu. With the exception of those with gluten and lactose allergies. The chef would take that into account. Around 8:00 PM, the first part of the starters arrived, namely a bruschetta. Unfortunately, no consideration had been given to the person with a dietary requirement, so we waited for at least another 30 minutes so that everyone, except for the children, would be served a starter. Pinsas were supposed to be arranged for the children. These also arrived later. By now, a number of people were already slightly irritated by the way things were being handled. Because the person who had made the reservation for our party kept insisting that the agreement was to eat à la carte and the staff could not verify this, they decided to accommodate us and let us choose from the menu after all. Since it was already past 9:00 PM by then, three people had not ordered anything. Of the 10 dishes that were still to come, one dish was sent back because the cheese used in the dish was too old, and another dish was sent back because it did not meet the dietary requirements due to allergy and the last dish, namely my spaghetti, was far too salty. By then it was well past 10:00 PM, so nothing more could be done. The atmosphere and mood of our party were already in a somber mood. I look back on a disappointing evening. What should have been a pleasant get-together, a cheerful party enjoying delicious Italian food, turned into a culinary blunder. Given all the good reviews Restaurant Raimondí's receives, I had been looking forward to dining here. Unfortunately, the evening turned out differently. I had written a review the next day, and then they contacted me to discuss the evening together. For this reason, I had temporarily removed my review. During our written correspondence, I got the feeling time and again that my complaints were not being taken seriously. And that is a real shame. I was thinking of coming back one more time to dine again to give it another chance, because, well, things can always go wrong unintentionally. But no, after my interaction with Mr. Raimondi, I have come to the conclusion that I must leave it at this.

The food is genuinely authentic Italian; the chef/owner is from Calabria. You can simply taste Italy in every dish served; everything is fresh daily and very well-seasoned. We opted for the chef's menu and let ourselves be completely surprised. Upon arrival, we were served a delicious bruschetta followed by a selection of hot and cold antipasti, then two types of pasta, and finally the main course with a choice of fish or meat. Everything arrived at the table with perfect time in between. The hostess (there were two present, both providing service to several tables) regularly comes to the table to ask if everything is to your liking so that drinks can be topped up. This was also done with the right frequency, allowing you to enjoy the atmosphere, your company, and the atmospheric background music in peace. The music does not drown out conversation at the table at all, but is actually a welcome addition to the atmospheric decor and the delicious food. Highly recommended for lovers of authentic Italian cuisine!

Over the years, we have eaten here occasionally. Always a fine experience until yesterday. Was it perhaps too busy? I find it terrible that people smoke in front of the entrance. You are welcomed, and if you are unlucky, there are smokers right outside the door. There is enough space to avoid placing the smokers at your first point of contact. Lactose-free was embraced, but the execution was very poor; while the others had an extensive selection, this person only had beets? This was corrected later, but once again, it was just the first impression. The dishes were bland in taste, and with the main dish, we were shocked by the quality of the meat. This was corrected, but this really shouldn't happen in this restaurant. One of the guests wanted some cheese, but that also took far too long. In short, we had a pleasant evening, but the food was a huge disappointment, and that is what we came for. It will take a while before we dare to visit you again. Unfortunately. An addition: I was called by the restaurant today with a very good explanation of everything that happened yesterday. That doesn't diminish the experience, but shows that they are very serious and won't let this happen again. Thank you for that.

Finally found a "real" Italian restaurant with a very wide selection and very generous portions. The wine list is also beautiful. Really take fifteen minutes for the wine list, because it has been compiled with great love for Italy and with the greatest care. The waitresses were very attentive and well-trained. The restaurant is located in an idyllic setting and is surrounded by a beautiful rose garden. There is a private parking lot and bus 45 also stops nearby. We will definitely be back. For the luxury we experienced, the prices were very reasonable! I did hear some background music occasionally, but with a little adjustment to the sound system, it can all sound a lot better, and a small tip: Italian music isn't just the hackneyed classics you hear always and everywhere in Italian restaurants; mix it a bit with modern Italian music, as well as some more cheerful Italian street/folk music, and that will certainly enhance the cozy atmosphere.

We really love coming to this restaurant. Every time, it feels like visiting family in Italy. The warm welcome, the cozy Italian atmosphere, and above all, the delicious authentic Italian food. They also have a beautiful, extensive wine list and are happy to advise you. The service is very good and attentive. We dine here regularly, and when we have something to celebrate, we prefer to do it at this restaurant. In good weather, you can enjoy a wonderful meal outside under the grapevines. It is always a top-notch experience; we keep coming back!

Second review update – regarding complaint handling After my previous visit, I received a call from the owner. The ‘conversation’ lasted nearly forty minutes — not because I wanted it to, but because she kept talking rather than listening. It was a long monologue in which she kept explaining why everything they do is inherently good, and why my experience couldn't possibly be right. No apologies, no acknowledgment, not a single moment of self-reflection. My feedback was dismissed as a misunderstanding on my part. The response to my review confirmed that: extensive, defensive, and primarily intended to trivialize my experience. The absolute kicker? The question of whether *I* would be willing to “make room for a positive attitude” during a future visit. As if the problem lies with the guest, not with the service. I had politely raised my rating to 3 stars, but after the response, I reduced it back to 1. Not out of frustration, but because the way Villa Rozenrust handled my complaint surpassed the original negative experience in disappointment. Nevertheless, I am willing to return, albeit after at least 1 year, to try it without expectations and with a standard menu. If the experience is truly better then, I will remove this review. But until then, this one star serves as a signal inviting improvement.

Yesterday we were allowed to eat at Villa Rozenrust for the first time. And that while we live just around the corner. Great experience, while enjoying good company you imagine yourself in Italy for a moment. Admittedly, the weather also cooperated on the beautiful terrace. 4 courses shared dining, antipasti was beautiful and plenty. All small bowls with delicacies, then on to two types of pasta, also excellent. 4 choices from the main courses, meat fish and then a grand dessert as an encore. Closing with a limoncello it was all in all an unforgettable evening. Our hearts have been conquered and you will definitely see us again.

Absolutely great! Next level quality of the food, nice combination of shared dining with antipasti, priminpiatti and dolci, and own secondo piatto. Beautiful place, cozy yet quiet and relaxed. Half March with 25 colleagues a dinner. We sat in the conservatory. Mmmm not recommended at this time of year, cold and very draughty! We had a 4 course menu, sharing, main course we could choose from meat, fish or Vega. The restaurant was very full, there were 2 other groups but they were inside, which made it take a bit longer, the staff was running around like crazy! The main course could have been a bit warmer but the taste was excellent. Had a very pleasant evening and delicious food.
