It had been a really long time since I'd eaten here, at least 10 years. But everything was and is exactly as expected. It's also wonderful that you hardly have to choose! They offer a full menu, as is customary in Italy. The quality of all the dishes is truly top-notch. The service is also excellent! It won't take 10 years for me to return.

Service is as it should be, but not often seen anymore. Attentive, friendly, and responsive. The food is good, the pasta and the parmesan excellent. The main courses are good, but for our taste, the sauce is too overpowering. All in all, we had a very pleasant evening.

Such a cozy and delicious meal! Everything was taken care of: the decor, the presentation, the service, and even the requests. The food was excellent, more than enough, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We had the surprise sharing dinner menu... highly recommended!

Our favorite restaurant in Leidschendam absolutely delivered on our wedding day. The atmosphere was relaxed, Ciano was easy to coordinate with beforehand, and the service was excellent. We received many compliments from our guests about the food, the wine, and the atmosphere. "I've never eaten so well at a wedding before," was mentioned several times.

If you want to celebrate a special night out with your lived one than this is the place. The shared dining is delicious with great portions. Everything tastes amazing. Have to come back someday to order dessert since we were too full to order it this time.

I've been here several times and it's always excellent. There's always a chef's menu on weekends. It's consistently delicious! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

I celebrated my birthday here on Saturday. As always, the food was delicious and fresh. We started with the antipasti, then fresh pasta and gnocchi, and I had the delicious grilled beef tenderloin with truffle and a grand dessert to finish. They also have a wonderful wine list and excellent service; it's a very cozy restaurant!

Yesterday we were allowed to eat at Villa Rozenrust for the first time. And that while we live just around the corner. Great experience, while enjoying good company you imagine yourself in Italy for a moment. Admittedly, the weather also cooperated on the beautiful terrace. 4 courses shared dining, antipasti was beautiful and plenty. All small bowls with delicacies, then on to two types of pasta, also excellent. 4 choices from the main courses, meat fish and then a grand dessert as an encore. Closing with a limoncello it was all in all an unforgettable evening. Our hearts have been conquered and you will definitely see us again.

Absolutely great! Next level quality of the food, nice combination of shared dining with antipasti, priminpiatti and dolci, and own secondo piatto. Beautiful place, cozy yet quiet and relaxed. We also noticed above-average personal attention, which gave us a very welcome feeling. And then I haven't even mentioned the Puglia and Tuscany wines.

I sat here for my aunt and uncle's 40th wedding anniversary. We came for a nice meal and enjoyed the 3 course dinner. The table was beautiful and we were warmly welcomed by the staff. Second review adjustment – ​​about complaint handling After my previous visit I received a call from the owner. The “conversation” lasted almost forty minutes — not because I wanted it to, but because she kept talking and not listening. It was a long monologue in which she kept explaining why everything they do is necessarily good, and why my experience couldn't possibly be right. No apologies, no recognition, not a single moment of self-reflection. My feedback was dismissed as a misunderstanding on my part. The response to my review confirmed this: extensive, defensive and mainly intended to downplay my experience. The absolute highlight? The question whether I want to “give room for a positive basic attitude” on my next visit. As if the problem lies with the guest, not with the service. I had politely increased my rating to 3 stars, but after the response I changed it back to 1. Not out of frustration, but because the way Villa Rozenrust deals with complaints even exceeded the original negative experience in disappointment. Still, I'm willing to come back again — without expectations and with a standard menu. But until then, this one star is a signal that invites improvement.

Half March with 25 colleagues a dinner. We sat in the conservatory. Mmmm not recommended at this time of year, cold and very draughty! We had a 4 course menu, sharing, main course we could choose from meat, fish or Vega. The restaurant was very full, there were 2 other groups but they were inside, which made it take a bit longer, the staff was running around like crazy! The main course could have been a bit warmer but the taste was excellent. Had a very pleasant evening and delicious food.

What a top restaurant this is! Best authentic Italian restaurant in the Netherlands! Food is extremely good. Well flavored and beautifully presented. (see photos) The staff is super attentive and very friendly. Are up for a good conversation and are good at sensing when you want to be helped. The 3-course menu is definitely recommended! Gezellige zaak met een attente bediening. Het 4 gangen chef's menu serveert smakelijke gerechten met voor het hoofdgerecht de keuze uit vis of vlees. Zelf gekozen voor de angus rib-eye die prima was. Fijn dat er wat ruimte tussen de verschillende tafels is, zodat je met een gezelschap ook wat privacy hebt. Let wel op dat de parkeerruimte op het eigen terrein beperkt is. Dus kom je wat later dan zou ik de auto langs de straat parkeren.

Haven't eaten here yet, but never will again. Made a reservation for 22 people on December 20. As soon as we knew that we had made our choice for a restaurant in another city, I immediately canceled the reservation. That was 1 week after making the reservation. But then not much later I get a call from Villa Rozenrust. Would I like to take an option in the future instead of making a reservation because that is a busy day before Christmas? I was stunned by the call and especially the tone in which it was said. Is this the service and way Villa Rozenrust deals with guests? When I go out to eat I want to have a good time, now I'm especially happy that we're not going to eat there.

Wanneer je in zo'n mooi restaurant komt eten waar ze op vrijdag en zaterdag 1 viergangendiner serveren voor alle gasten, had ik wat verfijndere gerechten verwacht. De gerechten die geserveerd werden waar prima, maar heel eenvoudig. De eerste twee gangen die werden geserveerd, waren al zo machtig dat we eigenlijk al niet zo'n trek meer hadden in het hoofdgerecht. Bij het hoofdgerecht kon je kiezen uit vis of vlees. Jammer, het is een prachtig restaurant waar je wel wat meer exclusiviteit verwacht van de keuken.

Antipasti was zoals gewoonlijk prima maar om 1 kleine sliptong als hoofgerecht te krijgen is wel heel karig. Bediening en wijn ook prima.

Reservé una mesa para el cumpleaños de mi novio. El jardín era muy acogedor y tranquilo, y el personal era educado y amable. Las comidas eran fantásticas! La mejor pasta de trufa que he probado. Delicioso, lleno de sabor, gran tamaño (no demasiado pequeño y no demasiado grande) ¡Regresaremos seguro!

Haven't found a better Italian restaurant yet. You only have to say whether you want meat or fish for the main course, and the rest will be put on the table for you. Enjoy a nice long meal indoors or outdoors.

We were tipped off about this restaurant and we actually went there for dinner in December 2023. We opted for the chef's 3 course menu. The antipasti was super tasty, there seemed to be no end to the bowls and saucers. Actually everything was equally tasty! As a starter we got 2 different pastas, both equally delicious! My partner chose the tenderloin and I chose the sea bass. Once again this was fun! The service was very friendly and very attentive. A nice family business. This restaurant is highly recommended. Please note that during the weekend only the chef's menu is served, but that is absolutely no punishment!

My linguine with lobster; disappointing. Linguine not al dente, too much sauce with too much salt, very small pieces of lobster. My husband liked his (chef's surprise) ravioli. Iberico cutlets delicious, also tenderloin. Small fly in my glass of Prosecco. We weren't in the mood for dessert. With coffee and limoncello, cookies in plastic. Too bad, because there are so many delicious Italian biscotti and other types of cookies/chocolates. Nice ambience in the restaurant, but a bit disappointing everywhere else.

Op uitnodiging van een 50 jarige jubileum hier gegeten. Man man wat heb ik hier heerlijk gegeten. Al heel veel bruschetta' s gegeten, maar dit was voortreffelijk en dit geldt ook voor de anti pasta en de pasta. Iets minder vond ik de pasta met pompoen vulling. Ossenhaas goed bereid en van de desserts heb ik ook erg genoten. En wat een goede service, vriendelijk en in een rap tempo werd alles op tafel gezet Vind het knap voor een groep van 50 man. Ik kom hier zeker terug
