Had a delicious meal, attentive service!

A few days ago, we had the bottomless shared brunch at Ted’s. Although the food and drinks were very tasty, the service was really lacking. It was busy, so we certainly understood. However, we were never asked if we wanted another drink, and the “unlimited” fries were never refilled. We also never saw the ‘sweet’ part of the brunch. For the price, that is quite a shame. What we did get, however, was delicious, so we are certainly satisfied with that.

Busy and sunny terrace in a good location. Very slow service. It was busy and they were apparently not prepared for that. The menu is diverse and I chose the French Toast with banana, bacon, and maple syrup. It took a while, and when I received my food, the drink (an iced coffee for 6 euros) had not yet been served. So the bar is not up to standard. The prices are insane. The plate you see in the photo cost me 16 euros. Yes, this (minus one bite) is really how the plate was presented. It tasted okay, because you can't go wrong with bacon, banana, and maple syrup so I ate it, but it is far from worth those 16 euros. I expressed my disappointment to the waitress when she inquired how it had tasted. She indicated that she would tell the kitchen. After that, I didn't see or hear anyone again and walked inside to pay. I would like to say that I won't be going back, but that is probably not true. You can sit there wonderfully in the sun and read a book. I think I'll eat somewhere else.

I used to really enjoy the food here, but my last two visits were very disappointing. The service has become extremely slow, with food taking over an hour to arrive. Unfortunately, the quality has also gone down. The eggs are never cooked properly— even the poached eggs come out hard. Very disappointing overall.

The food was decent. The service was very disappointing; we were served by a man with glasses who was very unpleasant to our table. I strongly advise against it; you can find much better at this price.

We were there this morning and asked to sit inside; I have to say the heat was almost unbearable, but we preferred it because we had a small child with us. The waiter (or owner—he didn't specify) was very kind and even made sure to bring water for our dog. We ordered a few different things; everything was quite good, except for the chicken, which turned out to be dry.

We went right at rush hour. The terrace was packed, but we waited five minutes and the waiter seated us. We were lucky: both of them spoke Spanish and gave us excellent service. The owner posed a little riddle about his music-themed tattoo; I guessed correctly and he bought me a beer. The food was well prepared, although perhaps a bit heavy for the weather.

Disappointed. One of the waiters wasn't very pleasant. The dish wasn't very good. The chicken was overfried and too tough to chew... it wasn't a great culinary experience.

Ordered a bottomless brunch. First, there was a fly in my girlfriend's glass, so they brought a new one, only to return the spoon with the fly on it with the cappuccino. It wasn't truly bottomless, because we had two drinks and they didn't come to ask for another one. We had to ask for the sweet round ourselves, and the staff didn't seem interested at all. The food was okay, but not great. Once was fun.

Nice place but bad service. That was probably because they only had one person on the entire terrace. Glasses were visibly dirty and it took almost 10 minutes before we got new ones. This restaurant is probably only really nice when the staffing is in order.

It continues to amaze me that this kind of service works in a restaurant. Unkempt clothing. You work in hospitality, so surely you make sure you look fresh. Not this gentleman. And he lacks the skills to clear the dishes properly either. At almost every table, he dropped cutlery on the floor. Additionally, there were many tables full of dirty dishes and empty. That says it all… the service is not up to par. When I went inside to pay, I saw what I had already expected: an exploded bar; dirty glasses, empty bottles, etc. everywhere. This really needs to improve. Not exactly a good advertisement for the place. The food was okay. Although I did have to search for my avocado with the Chicken Avo. The bread was very tasty and well toasted. But the prices…. Ouch.. Well, the sun was shining, so I wasn't going to let it ruin my day. But I will think ten times before ever going here again. Come on, a bit more hospitality and cleanliness here.

Absolutely unacceptable service. The waitress forgot our order twice, and after making us wait for 30 minutes, she came back a third time asking what we had ordered. It was clear our order had never been processed. We paid for our coffee and left without eating. A complete waste of time and one of the worst experiences I’ve had.

The food tasted good. However, the portion sizes are outrageous for the price (Bec Bagel and yogurt/granola). On top of that, the waiter was overwhelmed (no blame on him) and the owner was very unfriendly. We wouldn't go back.

Super extensive breakfast/lunch/brunch menu with lots of choices. It was our first time here, but the menu definitely invites you to come back more often and try some other things! We spent around 40 euros for lunch for 2 people and 2 soft drinks. Oh well. The hospitality industry remains expensive.

Nicely decorated brunch spot. Unfriendly welcome. Staff, especially the older man? The owner or manager, I think, came across as very unfriendly and uninterested. We were not asked if we still had enough tea or wanted anything else. We had a high tea; the dishes were nicely conceived. The pastries, and especially the apple pie, came straight from the freezer and were still frozen and covered in white mold. The mint for the mint tea was partially moldy. There was a hair in my teacup, and later I opened the teapot to check if there was enough left; there were 2 hairs floating in there as well. Couldn't get in touch with staff; they were standing by the bar. Even tried in passing but was ignored. Had to go to the bar to exchange it myself. Got a new pot immediately, no apology or anything. Later, they didn't ask if it was to our liking either. Nice location. Not worth repeating.

Via Social Deal, we got a high tea for 19.99 EUR (normally it would be 27.50), and even 19.99 felt too much to me considering the quantity and quality. The High Tea itself: a mini donut topped with a chicken nugget and sweet sauce, white toast with a small slice of salmon and a poached egg, half a French toast with banana, and a bowl of waffle fries... not much and not quite our taste... so we were looking forward to those 'sweet treats'... well, that was disappointing: 1 slice of cake per person on a small plate and nothing else! Meager. Afterwards, we ended up ordering lunch ourselves. Ted's claims to have fresh products, but the red fruit clearly came from the freezer! The service forgot to bring drinks, and we had to ask for the sweet round ourselves, which turned out to be just 1 slice of cake... We were able to sit comfortably on the terrace under the parasol, though (it was a hot day).

Perfect service, we felt at ease the entire time. The food, both simple and sophisticated, was excellent! Always recommended.

1. Super bad service: we waited almost an hour (50 mins no joke) under 28°C to order, they didn’t even come to order the drinks. Had to go inside and ask twice for them to come, and ended up going to the counter to make order. 2. We ordered a simple stracciatella toast, Ceaser Sando and Regular waffle fries and it took them 30minues to bring it. 3. Ordered 2 glasses of tap water and, for real, we ended up going to the main public place fountain to fill our water bottle because it took them more than 10 minutes. Unbelievable! Food was not even that good to be honest. 4. The washroom was dirty and they run out of hand soap in both dispensers… Staff was not aware of the clients, and there is clearly lack of staff for the amount of customers. What happened to us we also saw it in almost everyone next to us. A couple sat next to us after waiting for 20/25 minutes to order, having the dishes from the previous customers, they stood up and left to the restaurant next door. Should’ve done the same…

It was a very pleasant experience. Friendly service. Delicious drinks and an excellent lunch. If I remember correctly, my waitress was Judith.

Worst experience ever. Just left the restaurant. We had to wait 30 minutes for our drinks and 1,25 hours for our food, while being reminded that our reservation ends after 1,5 hours. We got the wrong bread, the fried eggs were cold on the first serve and nearly raw on the 2nd serve. We cannot recommend this place and wouldn’t go there again

We sat on the terrace in one of the nice spots. However, we had to wait half an hour just to be able to order a drink. Once we ordered drinks, it took a long time to receive them, and ordering food took a while. An hour later, after we had ordered the food, we asked where our food was. She then said that the kitchen had lost the order slip, so she asked if we wanted to wait a long time again. You would think she would suggest having the order prepared immediately, but no. It is simply too busy for them, and you can tell that the service is poor because of it. A shame, because it is a nice place and establishment.

Waited for more than half an hour before we could order anything… eventually walked inside because no one even looked at you.

They close at 5:00 PM, but at 4:30 PM you aren't allowed to order a drink on the terrace. Peculiar.

Unfortunately, we had a bad experience today. We had to wait a total of 45 minutes for the food. Unfortunately, the food really wasn't good... we also had to wait a very long time for my coffee. The lady who served us was nice and understood us. The gentleman, on the other hand, was not customer-friendly. Not something we would repeat.

The food was delicious and there was plenty of choice, something for everyone. I especially recommend the waffle fries with Parmesan cheese and truffle mayonnaise! The service was good, and the waitress was attentive to allergies.

Nice location, friendly staff. We were with a group from work. The food was fine, but not what I expected from a high tea; there were no tiered stands. What struck us was the overwhelming smell of deep-frying, which we could already smell upon entering... everyone's coats and hair reeked of deep-frying grease after leaving. That's a real drawback.

I was disappointed with the service I received during my visit on 16th of November for a breakfast reservation at 11:45 AM for 2 people. Despite making my reservation several days in advance, I was kept waiting in line for approximately 20 minutes. After finally being attended to, I was informed that no table was available and that I would have to sit at the bar. I accepted the bar seating only after asking whether I could be moved to a table if one became available. Unfortunately, I later observed other guests—who arrived after I did—being seated at tables instead. In addition, we ordered cappuccino, which never arrived. After 30 minutes we asked if they`ll bring us our coffee, we were told that it is a busy day and that the staff could not serve everyone promptly. Ultimately, we became frustrated and decided to leave after wasting 1 hour there without any coffee and breakfast. And when we left nobody offered an apology or acknowledged the inconvenience we experienced. This experience fell far short of the level of service I expected, especially considering I had made a reservation. I hope you will address these issues so that future guests do not encounter similar problems.

Unfortunately, you can't get a spot with a reservation. This was very disappointing and definitely not customer-friendly. So you're never guaranteed a spot.

Small place with crowd and loud. Late service (in weekends you wait at least 40 min for food). Meals are avarage but usually portions are small. Almost all Ted branches are under staffed.

I reserved a table five days in advance for Sunday brunch, but to my surprise, the only options available were an outside table (on a cold and rainy November day) or a spot at the bar, which isn’t suitable for kids. Really disappointing experience, especially after booking well in advance.

It looked like a snack bar when we walked in! My coat, bag, clothes, hair—literally everything smelled of fried food when we left. It was just embarrassing. The food was also disappointing. Definitely not recommended.

I went back again, and it was great again. I enjoyed a nice chai with my roommate! The blonde waitress was lovely.

The high tea arrangement was delicious. The staff were very helpful, suggesting that with two children, we should share one dish so there wouldn't be too much left over. Very nice!

Great food and a beautiful restaurant, but it's clear they're short on (experienced) staff. We had to wait ages for someone to take our order, then waited over 45 minutes for our food to arrive, and then had to ask three times for cutlery, which wasn't brought immediately. It was incredibly busy, and it was clear there weren't enough staff to handle the crowds. This disappointing experience, combined with the above-average prices, means I won't be returning anytime soon.

The food itself was delicious, but I asked if it could be served without sauce, but unfortunately that wasn't possible and there was a lot of sauce on the waffle fries and the chicken (I don't remember the name), so my tip is to put less sauce on it or put it on the side.

I booked an afternoon T package for me and my friend. Food was good but service can be improved. We waited over 1 hour to receive the food. We were also not informed by the waiters. If we didn’t ask we would have not even received a glass of water or information of how long it would take or that they are preparing.

We have a boozy brunch every year, and this was a great place to continue the tradition. Lovely in the sunshine with a table full of delicious food. A wonderful day.
