A wonderfully relaxed yet culinary experience. A new surprise menu with paired wines every six weeks for a reasonable price. Top-notch place.

Charming restaurant with very knowledgeable and friendly service. The menu is incredibly extensive, which enhances the quality of the dishes. Their Portuguese red wine is highly recommended.

The "Stoofgerechten Menu" recommended by the chef fully met our expectations. We would order the same meal again. Excellent service and a pleasant atmosphere.

This shop seems to be out of business. My reservation was canceled, and the website is down. I can no longer redeem the gift certificate I received for my birthday. I think the owners saw bankruptcy coming, but they sold the certificate anyway. It's a bit sad, though.

We ate at "De Smidte" twice in a row. The food and drinks were delicious; we could have ordered anything on the menu. The service was very friendly, and they even brought water for the dog. The prices were absolutely fair for what was offered. We will definitely come back.
