We popped in for lunch and it was amazing! Definitely worth a visit. I had the rosti wrap which was so fresh and the sauce was delicious. The smoothies were perfect and it was a lovely dessert menu. So nice to have vegan crème added on top! Want to come back again and again! Such an amazing looking menu!

Found online but very hard to find as no big board of name and in a small street. But once u find it you cant eat from anywhere else. Very delicious food. Its vegan and its soooo yum. They make fresh so it takes time to receive but taste is wonderful. I went and tried all dishes sweet potato fries, vegan plate with temph, tofu salad, Roti wrap and coconut water are my favourites and I recommend whoever visit must go there. It makes you full as well.

Don’t be fooled by the nondescript appearance from the outside. The food and service is top notch. The samosas were a vibrant new take on the dish that I’d never seen before, bite size, crunchy outside chewy inside, yet the flavor remained refreshingly authentic. The crispy roti wrap was similar in the sense where I could taste the homage to the traditional rotis I’ve had, but the style and flavors were fresh and modern. The “chicken” inside was authentic tasting and moist and crispy. I took one star off atmosphere only because they could probably use a refresher, as this was the only thing deterring me from trying the restaurant sooner, and I wish I had. I love the quirky character of the design as it feels warm and unique, but I feel like even a small renovation could go a long way. Or maybe keep it the same so the place doesn’t become too popular?😜 But I’m splitting hairs on what’s already a solid restaurant. Will definitely be back to try more dishes. Highly recommend for vegans and non vegans alike.

My girlfriend and I came here with high expectations given the reviews. I'll start by saying that our experience was terrible. The service was nonexistent, with a waitress who barely spoke English. We were made to wait 10 minutes to be seated, 20 minutes to take our order, and another 20 minutes to be served, and there were only four other diners in the dining room. The food was unbalanced, so much so that we didn't even finish our course. The prices are reasonable for the city, but I feel like I wasted my money. (The bathroom was very dirty.)

One of the best meals I've had while traveling. The staff was friendly and the vibe was chill. Enjoyed the music too. Highly recommend.

Super cool vibe. We had the vegan plate which contains a little bit of everything. Very good food, especially their tempeh was insanely good. We would definitely visit again. 100% would recommend this place!

Five days into my trip this food was easily the best I’ve had in Amsterdam so far. My friend only had 40 minutes before she had to leave to catch a train and the server made sure we had everything we ordered within only about ten minutes. Could not have enjoyed it more.

Disappointing. Food looked good but tasted pretty bland (Jamacian plate). Dull atmosphere. And it was a bit like being served by a bored teenager. €19.90 for the one dish. Value for money...pretty low.

Disappointing experience: the atmosphere feels dirty and neglected. The dishes are practically all fried, unbalanced in flavor, and with the same ingredients in every dish. Given the type of place, we expected to spend much less.

Service could be better but food makes up for it. I asked for water and server brought bottled water so I'm assuming they don't have complimentary water. Okonomiyaki & gyoza pictured below were both very rich and tasty. Mango lassi was to die for! Place is very small so be prepared for communal sitting. I would return.

Ordered the saltfish and ackee three times. First time good. Second order had no ackee the third time there were one piece of ackee and little banana flower and a lot of cauliflower and brocolli. If you dont have it just tell me you dont have it. Owner came out and didnt apologize but instead said ackee js expensive. Well take it off the menu. Paying 30 to 40 euro for lettuce, rice and brocolli is madness. The bathroom is dirty as well. I should trust vegan places that sell coca cola in the first place. Any vegan spot that get defensive about asking about ingredients or gluten free ask before you order. Also ordered the pancake. It looked good in photos but the texture was soft and almost slimy.

We came here for lunch twice in three weeks, each time we passed through Amsterdam on route between Newcastle and Vienna. Very good vegan food, tempting to non-vegans as well. English spoken.

We enjoyed it very much, a jamaican-japanese fusion :-) the food was delicious, a really good experience. Was there with my grandson (strict vegan), my daughter (vegetarian) and me (95% vegan) and we all loved it!

Low quality service, high prices, the food.. who knows? The waiters were either too tired, or just never attended a class in service. Waited for 20minutes for someone to take my order, I even signaled a few times.. then left. There was another table next to me with two guys, for one of them the waiters forgot about the dish.. Not a good rep for veganism.

The food was incredible and quickly served. I had the karaage bowl and would definitely go back to try more. The waiter on the day was so done with life, I found it funny but I think some people might be turned away because of that.

It Feels great to eat here ;) I’ve eaten here 4 days in a row, during my visit to Amsterdam;) Mohamed is an Excellent restaurant Manager and is able to effectively serve and execute customer requests, while swiftly managing the table rotation. Prices slightly below the average for Amsterdam, good food although the tables outside are in a very narrow and busy street so not very comfortable. Recommended for a vegan meal in the center of Amsterdam

Fully vegan eatery serving a mix of Caribbean/Jamaican and Japanese food. Really enjoyed the Ire Ackee & Saltfish made with banana blossom (though I personally found it slightly greasy)! The Okonomiyaki seemed to be popular among other customers too. Located between Amsterdam Central Station and Dam Square (Royal Palace).

Good food but not exceptional, okonomiyaki is very good instead. The serving staff is kind, and they cared about our feedback. Please just consider that lunch service is very short so they will ask you to leave at some point before 15:00, and will take away your dish even if you’re still eating.

I’m not a vegan but this place offers amazing cuisine and great history to it. Nevertheless I need to say that it could use some deep cleaning here and there because dust is everywhere and simple decorations on counter are just cover in it. Same for toilet. Because of that I don’t want to know how is the state of the kitchen. It’s a place that offers food so I think cleaning should be more prioritised.

Very chill place and I love the Jamaican/Japanese mix. The food is good, homely, it literally feels like having dinner at a friends’ place. Which for me is the only downside, as it doesn’t feel like a dining out experience. A bit pricey, and I don’t think they serve alcohol. But, interesting menu and nice staff.

A small restaurant with more of a snack bar feel, but there are a few places to sit. The food is excellent! It's freshly prepared and delicious. A definite recommendation for anyone looking for something vegan!

Terribile experience. We were there and waited so much to Order and much more to receive the food. When it arrived, we had to wait many minutes before having cuttleries.. Food was for my taste not good. The rice and the vegeblese really bad. The problem is that we saw other people around us all waiting since endless time and at some point the waiter went to them and said sorry we are close the food is finished.

Chilled Caribbean fused Japanese vibes with a large choice of tasty 100% vegan dishes. All cooked with time so don’t be in a rush. Plan ahead. WiFi too which is a bonus.

At first, I was a little scared. The tables were a little sticky and the waiter seemed dour. But when I saw and tasted their dishes, I understood the customers’ enthusiasm for this establishment. EXCELLENT ! As for the waiter, he finally laughed when I asked him to pass on my marriage proposal to the person who had prepared the dish 😂.

This place is a marvel. I was delighted with the fusion of flavors and how well achieved all the vegan products were. The portions are generous and I don't find it expensive for Amsterdam prices.

I was quite hesitant to go for dinner to this place. But actually this was one of the most exciting food experiences I have ever had! The unusual combo of Japanese and Caribbean cuisine was such a pleasure to discover! The dishes had so much soul in them, it was incredibly delicious! Nice menu, a lot of choice! I left satisfied and inspired after having dinner here ❤️

We were looking for a vegan place to eat in Amsterdam and we found it, the location is modest but the food is good.

I ordered a burger with fries, the fries were really good 😊, the burger also, worth the price. The ambient in the restaurant it’s really nice, like the mix between Asian/African decoration to it. The service was fine.

Dilicious! Had the tonkatsu bowl and some wraps. Very good. Ambiente is fine but you sit quite narrow to each other.

every time i go to this place it makes me realize how vegan food is as tasty (in this case even tastier) than normal food. i got the jackfruit and it was soooooo goooddd!!! also the plate is super complete and they serve big portions. highly recommended this is a gem in the heart of amsterdam!!!

I've had Jamaican food before and this doesn't come close. The waiter took our orders while chewing on his own meal. The dish that was placed on my take was dirty and spotted, but the nice waiter was quick to respond. My friend had paprika allergy yet the food still had green peppers. Worst part for me was the lack of ventilation. Not only did i have to shower immediately once home, but washing the clothes once was insufficient to get the frying odor out. I'm in disbelief at the squandered potential.

What a surprise, we found that place by pure chance and we were so pleased and happy!!! The smoothies are mindblowing!! We had the gyoza and the dish with the banana blossoms and it was so good!! For desserts, we had the açai bowl and the brownie and it was amazing!! The description of the dishes on the menu is a bit short and we didn't know what to expect but like we said it was great!! We'll come back!!xxx

I ate here a few times. Food was very nice, but the place makes clothes and hair smell of cooking oil. The whole place smells even if you sit near window. They really need to get extraction fans. The staff always looked unhappy.

Quando sono arrivato, fuori c'era freddo e pioveva, dentro non c'era il caldo che speri di trovare. Ho pranzato con la giacca. Mi sono accorto subito che il locale era intriso di olio fritto, forse per questo motivo la porta d'ingresso non la potevo chiudere del tutto?! I 3 piatti che ho scelto erano tutti molto buoni, ma quando sono uscito i mie vestiti sapevano fortemente di fritto. Io effettivamente non mi sono aiutato, perchè ordinando gli spring roll e l'hamburger vegano che aveva le patatine fritte, ho mangiato troppa roba fritta. Consiglio: mettete meno roba fritta a menu, aggiungete una kappa di aspirazione, fate qualcosa per rimuovete il fritto dalla stanza.

The best vegan BLT I’ve had! It was out of this world! I will be going back for sure! My husband also liked his Tonkatsu Bowl a lot too! Atmosphere is good, we were just there at a random time of day and the only people there.

best vegan burger I‘ve ever had!

The restaurant doesn't look like anything inside or out. Greeted by - to put it kindly - a very listless employee, we ordered “vegan plate” and “gyoza plate”. In addition, the menus were (not exaggeratedly) very rancid and simply dirty pieces of paper on a clipboard. The taste of the food was quite good, but it was far from the best vegan food I've ever had. Anyone who has already been around a bit can confirm that - contrary to many reviews here - there are many other restaurants that are much better. Conclusion: the food is impressive, but that's it. Wouldn't come here as a vegan.

Some of the food is delicious and some is just ordinary. But overall, for vegan food, this is very good. Being in the middle of Amsterdam, it makes it very easy for us as vegans to find food. The gyoza is delicious.

I came here in October. The food was really nice - although less than a fusion than I expected. The service was pretty poor - I felt like we shouldn't be there.

This is one of my favorite vegan restaurants in Amsterdam, so I felt like dedicating a few words, the place is unique and reminds me a lot of one of those classic local Caribbean restaurants, But! The service is practically non-existent, the waiters at most say hello, as there is no real service, the place is a bit expensive and it could be and do so much more, by the way the philosophy need to be support it and the style of the owner is TOP !

The food was delicious (open bun with avocado, next to it: lentils and spinach). Everything super seasoned and fresh. I will definitely come back to taste other things. Thank you that it was ready quickly too (I didn't have much time because of a concert and indicated this). It's not often that I leave feeling satisfied, but here I did.

Food was good. Interesting mix of Japanese and Carribean. I got the vegan lust plate which felt a little more Japanese but was good nevertheless.

This spot has a real homely vibe. The samosas were nice and I had fried plantains as well. The cheesy sticks (not seen in the pic) were good, but I didn't quite like that they use the same brown sauce for the samosas as well. Making those two side dishes taste almost the same because that sauce is really predominant. - no wifi for guests - they toss nori flakes on all the 3 side dishes I ordered and I have the feeling that they just toss it on almost every dish + love that it's all vegan and I want to come back to try out the main dishes
