Vegan Junk Food Bar in Dapperbuurt

Food was mid at best and there were not a lot of options. We ordered and didn’t even receive our entire meal. The food that did come wasn’t correct and nobody came to check on us at all. Had to wait over 15 minutes just to get the bill before we could leave.

Food was good but the restaurant was so weird because it seemed like it was closed and the lady was strange and for 2 hours we were the only ones there

Staff were friendly. Good ambience. However, I don't eat onions or garlic. Most items had these ingredients premixed, so I couldn't eat anything.

Burger was good, sashimi "deluxe" was not good at all, you could still taste the freezer. Music was really loud and the latte machiato was watery. Calamaris and heppi ribs were really good!

After coming by for dinner several times, I unfortunately had to come to the conclusion that the food was overpriced and overhyped

This is my best vegan place to visit in Amsterdam East. I go there quite often and the staff recognise me as well. Last time I went there with a big group of friends and orders lot of mocktails, snacks and burgers. In the pic you can see there most famous burger called as "Notorious" and their "sumo platter" and a mocktail and virgin coconut

Absolutely smashing vegan options! It's the first time my partner has been to Amsterdam, so I was excited to find a place that offers a vegan interpretation of Kapsalon - which was super tasty. We also had some Bitterballen and 2 tiny burgers, which was a nice way to try several things from their menu. As someone who doesn't drink anymore, I also enjoyed their interesting mocktail/lemonade options! It's not a cheap place, but fairly averagely priced for Amsterdam, and really tasty.

Update May 2023, they are open again and still as good as before. Like nothing has changed. Food still looks and tastes very good! They have some healthy fair now over here, I had a ceasar salad with NoTuna (though to be really healthy you would have to order the dressing apart). Standard fries and the Dutch favorite 'kapsalon' all really good snackbar food! Oh and don't get tempted to order a lot at once, it's quite filling!

Love the spot and the food. Waitress was very attentive and fast. The food is vegan made amazing. You won’t believe what you get is really vegan. A must try are the „chicken“ wings.

Ich bin mit Freunden über die Prideweek in Amsterdam. Wir waren schon sehr angefixt, ich vor allem durch den erwarteten vegane Fisch! Leider gab es ausgerechnet aufgrund eines Prideweek Specials genau die Gerichte nicht auf der Karte, wegen denen wir gekommen und angestanden sind. Naja dann halt das Special bestellt. Sollten Rainbow Fries werden, ähnelten aber stark dem was man auf Bildern von älteren Bewertungen sieht, es waren im Endeffekt normale Fries mit Blümchen, blauer und rosa Soße,also nur die Farben der Company, nicht die typischen Farben wie man sie von Regenbögen erwartet… mit Blick auf den Preis und die Tatsache, dass uns dann auch noch verweigert wurde getrennt zu bezahlen (es wird nur auf No Cash hingewiesen) kann ich von einem Besuch, zumindest in der Prideweek, eher abraten und werde auch nicht mehr hingehen.

Das Essen schmeckt wirklich auch wenn es vegan ist. Das Essen ist für jedermann, auch wenn man nicht vegan ist, kann man es probieren. Ich war echt überrascht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Es scheint ein sehr beliebtes Restaurant zu sein.

Accueil au top, repas servit rapidement, une carte exclusivement végétarienne et vegetalienne! 🥳 Pleins de saveurs et de choix. Si vous passez par Amsterdam ce restaurant est à ne pas rater!!

T is wel oké, niet geweldig. Best duur en niet elk gerecht is even goed gebalanceerd. Vegan Zalm is echt een enorme misser, en een roze burger met blauwe saus trekt me ook niet erg, gifblauwe mayonaise... nee bedankt, het is geen kinderpartijtje...

Nice crew and the food is amazing! We had burgers , shrimp (excellent recco from the waitress) and refreshing kombucha. This shows non vegans that vegan food can be so much more deliciousss than meat 🤤

Very good food. The cotton candy ice cream is very on point. The staff there was very nice and the woman who served us was from Pittsburgh, small world.

The service was friendly for a take-out order. I would prefer for some of the menu to showcase brilliant plant-based food rather than it all pretending meat products of some kind. Basically, don't call something a shrimp, just call it what it is.

if you eat here, you will realize meat should be a thing of the past. Truly a great substitute for meat-based junk food, might even be better! The service was friendly and fast. guys, i think the future is vegan.

It was wonderful experience with their innovative vegan food with sustainable authenticity. I really like vegan sushi.

Het menu is behoorlijk uitgebreid dus er is voor ieder wat wils. Van een pizza vooraf tot een gigantische burger. De kapsalon is een aanrader. Smakelijk en eerlijk. Vegan eten in Amsterdam? De lekkerste adresjes heb ik alvast verzameld. REISACHTIG.COM

- 👎 The wait was 1,5 hours which was fine, but then the food arrived lukewarm and the waffle chips had been soaked in the sauce for so long the were absolutely flaccid. - 👍 The vegan burger and fish in fish and chips where very nice. - 👎 The fries where doused in oil to the point that there was a layer of oil in the bottom of the container.

De burgers zijn erg lekker. De parmezaanse kaas frieten heb ik tot nu toe iedere keer heel slap gekregen wat ik erg jammer vind. Het is wel heel erg duur. €15,- voor een burger. Erg jammer anders zou ik er iedere week heen gaan. De kwaliteit bij iedere vegan junk food bar is hetzelfde. Ik raad het ook zeker aan om ze te bezoeken. Ik zou ze graag 5 sterren geven alleen de prijzen zijn daar echt te hoog voor. Ook smaakte de franse frietjes alsof ze te vroeg uit de oven gehaald werden en niet of het was gefrituurd. Alsnog blijf ik naar vegan junk food bar gaan want het blijft heerlijk.

Ik raad mensen niet aan om voor het bezorgen te kiezen, want het eten komt vaak lauw aan. Het is echter wel enorm genieten om er te zitten en eten.

Heerlijk eten, geweldig concept en altijd vriendelijk personeel. Ik kan niet wachten tot ik weer binnen aan een tafeltje mag zitten!

Leckere Burger und Pommes! Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Da wir erst sehr spät an diesem Tag in Amsterdam ankamen, waren die langen Öffnungszeiten perfekt für uns und wir wurden auch eine halbe Stunde vor Ladenschluss noch bedient. Das pinke Bun ist ein echter Hingucker.

I'm not kidding when I say I have returned to Amsterdam twice JUST to come back to this place. I mean, there were other reasons, but this was a dam(n) big one! The food here is incredible. Some of the best vegan food I've ever had. You don't walk away hungry! Can't wait for someone to franchise it in Canada!

Richtig gutes veganes Essen zum fairen Preis. Das Lokal ist sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und spiegelt die Philosophie des Ladens wieder. Sehr freundlicher Service war ebenfalls vorhanden. Waren direkt am nächsten Tag nochmal dort. Sowohl die Burger als auch die Pommesgerichte und Salate kann man uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Sehr lecker 😋

Geweldig eten. Variatie in aanbod verandert af en toe. Het is wel zo dat je langer moet wachten en bij regen is er dan in sommige filialen geen mogelijkheid tot schuilen omdat dit vaak buiten gebeurt. Paraplu mee dus aanbevolen met slecht weer r

Trajo a mis amigos que no comen vegano. La comida era increíble y mis amigos ahora han abierto los ojos a la comida vegana. Lo único que tengo que tener en cuenta es que el servicio fue lento y el orden fue incorrecto. Pero en general, una muy buena experiencia. Recomiendo mucho una visita
