Good place that offers vegan options. The falafel with pita had a lot of options for veggies. The falafel itself was also great. The fries with vegan mayonnaise were amazing. Highly recommend. The owner was also very cordial and welcoming.

Super super restaurant. The pitas are tasty and well stuffed with the filling of your choice, then you can add the rest yourself. The staff is kind and speaks English. Would reccommend

I come here often and today I ate a delicious falafel sandwich. The food is good, the salad bar nice and neat. Friendly service and good seats. Highly recommended!

Minus: € 6,90 for a lousy falafel bread. Smallest size pita bread with three pieces of falafel which where soft inside and not properly fried. Positive: many add-ons available. Friendly service. Return: probably not.

I had a salad bowl. You can choose between severeal basic ingredients, I chose mushroom shoarma, which was delicious. You can add ingredients from a salad bar by yourself according to your taste until the bowl is full and drizzle several toppings onto it. I made mine extremely spicy. I came back the next day for the same because I liked it so much. This branch is an all vegetarian branch. No toilets, but McDonald's is a neighbour.

Amongst all the waffles, pancakes, chips and hotdogs, this little shop of healthy delights was an oasis of goodness. Choice of pita or bowl, we chose the salad bowl, with the aubergine and falafel ( extra 1euro). We could then could self serve the extra choices of pickled and fresh veggies and sauces. Stacked, it was fresh, tasty and filling! Definitely bang for your buck. Staff were very friendly and helpful! Definitely would recommend. One could also sit facing out toward the city and people watch while you eat.

A falafel buffet with an Israeli owner (I found out after I left the restaurant). Delicious falafel and salads are free but open to everyone. The price is high and the place is dirty and unclean.

A nice place to eat. Its main thing is that you can take a "falafel pita" and it'd be a base pots with like 5 falafels and a leaf of salad AND you can fill it with whatever toppings you want (they have a decent variety of them) AND you can refill those toppings in whatever time and amounts you want! It still can barelly fulfill you if you're not a pure vegetarian and do eat meat but with that feature and a extra fries you could not to feel hungry at least. My vegetarian wife tells that that this falafel is enough to become full :) Just don't forget that you can refill at any time! The Maoz in general is a "network" and there are several of them in Amsterdam (and even in other cities and countries too) but others are more central and therefore more loud places. This exact location is pretty calm most of the times. I can recommend this place if you hungry and you somewhere around. Even more of you're vegan. Just don't forget you can refill at any time! :)

A friend of mine walked in and was waved away by the man behind the counter (the same man as in the photo in Google Maps, right behind the counter). The friend said he came to pick up food, but the man did not exchange a word. Crazy.

The concept of a falafel pita is cool, the choice of ingredients you can put in your pita is great, and the guy at the counter was very polite.

Hele lekkere broodjes falafel. Bijna zo lekker als in Israël. En je mag ook lekker terug naar de bar om extra spulletjes in je broodje te doen. Pas op de hete saus, die is echt heel heet!

Really good vegan sandwiches and salads. The highlight is the self-served fresh salads and sauces. Some sauces are really spicy and I loved it :)

Maoz is a great place if you are looking for a good price-value-balance. With a big choice of fresh and fried ingredients, you can basically create your own bowl or pita and that for a very decent price in the otherwise so expensive city of Amsterdam. Healthy and Satisfying! Especially recommended are the extra aubergines for just 60 cents.

Yummy falafel!! It was soo indearing to find this place - the guy who gave us service was super duper nice!! The food was not expensive and also super yummy - it's street food. Also it's all vegan - yay for the vegans !

Lovely falafels and a very nice staff.

Suprisingly good falafel. When I enter a big food chain, I never expect the food to be outstanding. Maoz somehow suprises me with their falafel every time I enter one of their branches. The falafel is really good, the vegetables are fresh, and most importantly the quality is pretty consistent. They did loose one star on their fries though. There's definitely place for improvement on that end.

Very delicious pita with crunchy falafel. The large one is 6.90 euro. You can add and refill any sauce you want as well as salad and vegetables. My recommendation is garlic and tahini sauce 🧆🥙🌱

Zamówiłam tu zestaw za 10,5 euro, w skład którego wchodziła mała pita, frytki oraz napój. Do pity sami sobie nakładamy dodatki. Danie jest smaczne, sycące, a obsługa sprawna i miła. Polecam na szybki i niedrogi obiad w Amsterdamie :)

Prima volta che visito Amsterdam e per quanto riguarda il mangiare fuori, decido d'improvvisare sul momento. Dalle parti di piazza Dam vengo attratto da questo locale, Maoz, che fa solo pite greche vegetariane, con la possibilità di personalizzarle come vuoi. Ho una preso una pita con humus di ceci, falafal, cipolla, zucchine e una salsa alle verdure, veramente buonissima e buonissime anche le patatine.
