My wife and I had a lovely meal at Phad Thai on the terrace. The service was also good, and the food was very fresh. See you next time.

Suvarnaphum is a gem for anyone craving authentic Thai cuisine in Amsterdam. It’s worth making a reservation, as the place tends to fill up quickly — and for good reason. Highly recommended!

Today we went to eat again in a Thai restaurant. And the choice of this restaurant turned out to be a bull's eye! First of all, the reception was very friendly and communicative. Restaurant owners and/or staff often underestimate the importance of this. Feeling welcome is the first step to a good experience. And in this case it all worked out very quickly. If the food is also astonishingly tasty, the undersigned cannot fail to honorably mention this in the present review. It started well with a portion of prawn crackers as an appetizer in combination with a refreshing Singha pilsner (many Thai restaurants neglect to serve prawn crackers in advance, although this is customary). To top it all off, there was also a delicious homemade satay sauce in which the prawn crackers could be dipped. Immediately a taste sensation. We then had Phad Thai as a main course, vegetarian fried rice, spring rolls and 'last but not least' shrimp in garlic sauce. The last dish deserves a 10 with griffel! The excellent garlic aftertaste still resonates on my taste buds. Also well dressed with fresh cucumber and pointed cabbage. The Phad Thai also tasted delicious. Often the tamarind sauce balance is not in order with Phad Thai (or too much sauce or too little). For this restaurant, that balance was certainly in order, as well as the other delicate flavor balances that are very important in Thai cuisine. The vegetarian dish with spring rolls was also approved. Pleasant bite those spring rolls. The fried rice was fluffy and generously filled with vegetables. All in all, I have little choice but to give this eatery 5 stars. The food was so good and the service the same that a few words could be said about it. Keep it up!

Had dinner with 4 people at this cozy restaurant. The limited number of seats makes it feel cozy. Good service, friendly staff and delicious tasty food! We had 4 different dishes that we exchanged so that everyone enjoyed the different flavors. Really worth repeating.

Zeer regelmatig genieten we hier van fantastisch lekker Thais eten in een leuke sfeer. Al jaren een van onze favorieten, altijd top, veel keus, veel smaken. En zeer vriendelijke bediening die het extra leuk maakt. Afhalen ook top, even bellen en het staat klaar. Een tien.

Went here for dinner with a colleague. I had the chicken with yellow curry in coconut milk, my colleague had the steak with red curry. We both had the sate kai beforehand. I was pleasantly surprised, the food was delicious, friendly staff and a cozy and warm atmosphere! I would definitely go here again!

He estado aquí varias veces para recoger comida para llevar. La comida es muy buena, especialmente el Kaeng Kai Sapporod (pollo con curry rojo y kokos) con arroz frito. Personal muy amable y un servicio muy agradable. Realmente lo recomiendo!

The red curry with stocking bamd and bean curd...didn't contain any curry. It was a dry whole without red curry sauce. The whole thing was seasoned with perhaps a spoonful of curry sauce. H3t was therefore not to the taste. Shame. Not recommended. Total 3 stars because it is fresh.

Nice small cozy restaurant. I live in the neighborhood and eat here now and then. Food is very nice. I think quite authentic. been to Thailand before. Best Thai food around here. Prices are reasonable. 2 meals and a bottle of wine for under 100 euros. Best place to sit is on the left side of the restaurant, not by the door. especially in the winter. petty issues. They do "take away" so every now and then a customer will come in to collect there meal. I still rather eat in the restaurant than taking it home so I guess it is okay. Take way is a plus for some, but not for me.

This restaurant is hands down the best Thai restaurant in Amsterdam West. It's a cozy little place with friendly service and reasonable portion sizes. Highly recommended!

We went there for a bite to eat with a group of 8 people on December 19, 2023. The location is good, lots of parking options, small restaurant. Can be seen as cozy and can accommodate a maximum of 26 people. We had different types of dishes, I had the duck fillet in green curry sauce and a starter with seafood. Everything was great, wonderfully seasoned and spicy, where it should be.

We have been here very often and the food was delicious, but lately it has been really disappointing, feedforward for the restaurant, food is a bit tasteless and could be spicier

We eten hier vaak als we moeten overwerken en nemen dan alleen een hoofdgerecht. Dat neemt niet weg dat het altijd super lekker en genoeg is. Van warme salade tot diverse curries altijd top.

Heerlijk authentiek restaurant de serveerders zijn super vriendelijk. Eten heerlijk en als je wilt kunnen ze het echt super heet maken.

Ik heb eten meegenomen en was een beetje teleurgesteld. Wij hadden 2 gerechten. Met fried rice! En 3 loempia’s (mini). Ik vond de porties klein en erg duur naar verhouding.

Klein en gezellig restaurant met een mogelijkheid om buiten aan de straatweg te zitten. Het eten is verrukkelijk. Redelijke keus aan voorgerechten, gerechten. Ben je in de buurt, neem even de tijd voor een smaakvolle maaltijd of meeneem gerechten.

Still my favorite Thai restaurant in Amsterdam after living here for 6 years. Service is always friendly and attentive. My favorite dishes are the pad Thai (chicken or tofu) and the fried dorado fish with tamarind sauce. Always a nice atmosphere while dining inside.

Een super klein restaurant, die naar mijn idee bijna altijd vol zit. Wij zijn gegaan voor een proeverij van thaise hapjes, octopus en rundvlees met basilicum en peper. Spicy is ook echt spicy hier gelukkig. Zoals op de filmpjes te zien is krijg je bij de gerechten meer dan genoeg eten.

Enjoyed a nice dinner here with friends. The taste of the food is excellent and very authentic. We had a green curry, tom yum and tom kah soups, cashew chicken, pad thai and one more dish. All the dishes have been of excellent taste and quality. Clear recommendation.

we hadden 2 afhaalmaaltijden: Pad Thai en Rode curry. Smaakten allebei nauwelijks thais helaas.Pad Thai vnl noodles zonder verdere ingredienten. Rode curry smaakte vnl naar rood paprikapoeder. Geheel niet verfijnd, leek ook niet vers roergebakken, maar opgewarmd. Geen aanrader!
