If you've already arrived in Amsterdam, and you love avocado, then it's worth a visit. A pleasant place, a great experience for avocado lovers, A bit slow, needs improvement in service.

Disappointing food. I have a feeling this place was created solely for pics purpose, without attention to dining experience. Overpriced, blunt taste and small portions. Looks cool but that's it.

I worked for them as a freelancer more than a month ago and they do not pay me since then! They lie and say they paid and now their lawyers are contacting me that they are bankrupt!! The people I was in contact were also so rude!

A very bad experience... in reality even if you book 24 hours in advance, you will wait at least 1 hour before you can finally be served... but that's not a problem because the staff doesn't pay you any attention.. you might like it lawyer but not in these conditions.. a marketing concept but not a restaurant.. move on..

In Amsterdam this is a mandatory restaurant for people interested in quality food, not only for vegetarians or vegans. Lovely looks for highly nutritious combinations. The toilets are not accessible to wheelchairs (1st floor) and the inside is small and colourful. Tables outside are so appealing with the good weather! Directly on the sides of the channels. They dom everything with avocado!

Local person here. Born and raised, living in De Pijp where this place is located. I so felt like eating here, because it looks delicious! Unfortunately, at 3.30 pm, at a rainy day while the the restaurant was half empty, no table was available for me first.. Then there was a table, it was at a super bad point at the door. I asked if I could sit somewhere else, their answer was that that table was saved for 3 (if there will come someone by the way). I walked to the table that they have showed me, this table was also for 3. I asked her, why in that case I couldn't sit at the nice table that was available. She explained a lot but did not really get the point. Then her manager came, I told them that I don't think this is nice and that the girl could explain, and that I won't repeat myself. THE problem was obviously that I was alone. When you are alone you are just spending for 1 and that was the whole problem. So, as a single person, or with someone, just skip the avocado show!

Great people and great food. My favorite place.

We came to celebrate my friend's birthday through a recommendation from Google and in the end she ate alone. I asked for avocado toast and there was none. In the end only my friend ate because there wasn't enough avocado for me.

Not an exciting experience. The dish arrived 50 minutes after ordering due to a problem at the command, meanwhile those who arrived later were already eating. When the dish arrived, the avocado was not ripe and was hard to cut. It's a shame because overall the dish wasn't bad. I don't think I will return. I am sorry.

Yesterday, August 10, 2024, we ate at the Avocado Show again. We had reserved a table on the terrace. When we arrived we immediately saw that a wonderful table was ready for us. Close to the water. The service was very friendly and accessible. This lady clearly enjoyed pleasing us. We drank signature ice tea! I had the vegan burger, no bread but with tortilla chips. We shared the desserts. Very nice to sit and eat and drink. ————,—-,——,——,-/// Our first time at the Avocado Show! A dog-friendly place. We sat by the window. Music was turned down low enough that we could have a normal conversation. There is no paper menu available. You place orders via the app. The jasmine tea was very special. Wide choice of vegan options! Beforehand we shared avocado and cauliflower fries! Super tasty. The additional sauces were vegan. The main courses were all very tasty! Detail: the restaurant closes at 8:00 PM! Good to take into account.🤓 And one more point of attention: if you use the toilet, which is on the first floor, check in advance whether there is toilet paper! 😳If it isn't there, check the cupboard under the laundry bins! All in all a super good experience, especially because the vegan meal was really great. Good flavor and very au naturel! Exactly what I enjoy! 🙏🏼

Nice atmosphere with unique and interesting dishes and combinations. The avocado burger didn't quite work out 100%, but the ingredients were tasty and fresh.

Great store & dog friendly PS: Opening times are incorrect! open until 5:00 PM. The site says open until 9:00 PM and you can also make reservations until then, so that needs to be updated

Enjoyed the experience of visiting the avocado show but my food could have been better the scrambled eggs were quite dry and tasteless. Didn’t have the best appearance either grey eggs (probably from pepper). Avocado fries with truffle mayo were delicious

We came twice at 4pm and twice she closed before 5 pm It's looks like they don't want people to come to eat there so save yourself time and DON'T go!

We arrived at 12.40 in the restaurant and waited 1 hour and 15 minutes from the order to get our food. In the pics I attached you can see the time when we got our drinks and the time when we got our food. Even 2 tables next to us that arrived 20 minutes after us got their food and left. Waiter said they are busy but obviously they forgot our food. I expected drinks on the house but we got nothing but ‘sorry we are busy’. Food was tasty but portion was too small, so I had a sandwich when I got home. What a wasty of time and money. I always recommened The avocado show restaurant to friends that come to Amsterdam, but I won't recommend it anymore or go there myself. And instead of apologizing and giving discount next time, they ignored my compain

I have mixed feelings about this place because the staff was really nice, but despite having few customers, it was surprisingly chaotic. We ordered three main courses, but they forgot one. In our culture, it’s important to start eating at the same time, which was disrupted. Additionally, I found a small piece of plastic in my food. I didn’t report it because the food was still good, and we were too hungry and tired to deal with it.

Sadly, we never got our food. We visited this location on our trip to Amsterdam and we’re looking forward to the food, sadly we only managed to sip on our drink for over an hour while watching the other guests ( who even came after us) eat their delicious looking food. We asked if they had forgott about us and we were told it was busy ( which was weird as everybody else was getting their food) after over an hour we asked to pay for the drinks. The waiter did apologize but made us pay and never gave us an explanation why we were treated that way. During over an hour one would expect the staff to notice something is wrong and even after we asked, nothing happened. Sadly, a not so nice experience for us. One star as the bottled beer was cold.

Idéal pour le brunch ! On peut choisir la terrasse au bord du canal ou la salle assez vaste et confortable avec une bonne musique d’ambiance !! Je recommande les oeufs bénédicte avec avocat et saumon ou bacon . Excellent produits . Accueil sympathique et service professionnel

Nice restaurant, with a top location right on the canals of Amsterdam. Very, very tasty food that is prepared very artfully and with love. “The Avocado Show” is also completely convincing in terms of price. A must for anyone who loves avocados!

The Avocado Show ios all about avocados- for sure the pancakes are sometimes else! Amazing and delicious- also a vegan opinion. In general some vegan options that are really tasty. Seats are available at the river outside & cool look inside of the restaurant.

Cool breakfasts, the presentation is beautiful and aesthetic, and the dishes are delicious. Delicious coffee. I recommend reserving a table.

Very hostile atmosphere and the blond lady waitress did not help, she was rude from the start and super unfriendly, we were not done sitting and she was already prohibiting things… also, there are ways to share info and she was very rude when handling the menus. Praise to the italian/spanish speaking lady, she turned our experience to the positive note. But we still had a bitter taste from the blonde lady, she seems not to like people? Why work greeting/serving when you clearly dont like it?

The food is very good, but it took a very long time to get water that we asked for and the soy sauce they were supposed to bring never came. Would happily eat here again.

Overall amazing, even if we had to wait a good 20 minutes or more. The lovely host kept us informed on the availability, which was super helpful. The food is excellent, service is prompt and friendly.

Can’t understand why this place is so popular. There were no free tables. Im little Shocked. Cutlery and dishes were so dirty. I asked waitress to change them. She brings worst for second time 😀😀😀🤦🏻‍♀️ poached eggs was overcooked. All other things you can see by your self in photos 🥺🥺 don’t go there

We ordered coffee and food. They brought the coffee , we waited an hour for food only then to be told the order hadn’t gone through. They charged us half price for the coffee, and we left, hungry 🙁

A really nice place for a late brunch or lunch. Delicious dishes, great drinks. However, the service wasn't quite up to par and we had to wait a while to order. But perhaps this was also due to the video shoot that took place at the same time as our visit. 🧡 still highly recommended.

Had a nice meal at the avocado show. Portion size is more than sufficient. Quick service. Food was only put on the table by a waitress who was distracted so nothing was said, later several waitress asked if it tasted good.

Avocado, avocado everywhere .. Veramente fantastica l’idea di creare piatti con l’avocado in tutte le sue versioni… in due, a fette o sotto forma di guacamole, è il re di ogni piatto. Tutto quello che abbiamo ordinato era buonissimo, sopratutto il crostone con hummus, mango e chiaramente.. AVOCADO!

The food is amazing, and the portuons are very generous. I was not able to finish my plate. I took BAE Bun, and my friends ate VAE bun and salmon bun, all of us were very satisfied with the food. I tried their homemade raspberry lemonade, which was also delicious. Service was good. I would go there again

Almost everything on the menu was made with avocado, and this is what makes it special. It was a very nice experience. Tables are close together and you may not always find a good seat. The prices were at a reasonable level.

When I entered this restaurant, it was a bit early for dinner, so there were only a few people. I told the waitress, "I made a reservation," to avoid being a no-show. However, she didn't understand what I was saying and asked me to repeat it more than five times. Honestly, my English isn't perfect, but I've never had any problems with simple conversations like "I made a reservation" during my time as a student in Europe. I don't have a strong accent either. She even loudly called her colleague to help her understand what I was saying. Whether it was intentional or not, I felt offended and ashamed. She said sorry after this happening and asked for my name but didn't actually check it. After that, I felt she was ignoring me on purpose. Even though she was busy, she didn't come over despite making several eye contacts with me until I directly called her over, and didn't listen what I was saying. I'm a Asian dining alone, and not sure if this was racial discrimination. I'll leave that interpretation up to you, the reader of this review. What is clear is that this experience completely ruined my good mood, and the food was neither delicious nor unique given its reputation and price. It seems like the restaurant is probably only famous because of its concept and good pictures.

Food was amazing , great service and lovely staff!

Very tasty! We'll be back often! However, we no longer have anything with chicken. This one is greasy and hard. It would be very nice if they switched to a different type of chicken. Service is always very friendly and the restaurant is located in a beautiful part of Amsterdam!

The food cannot be well digested in this place anymore. Everyone is entitled to opinions and views on political matters. However a restaurant that chooses to take sides in political conflicts , advertising it shamelessly as a “joke “on their front window , fueling hate and ignorance among some of its customers and overlooking the sensitive impact it has on other customers is no longer worth a visit .

The food was so bad! We ordered avocados fries, ceasar salad and sassy salmon and they were just soooo tasteless! Just a plate of avocado and nothing else! The salad had no sauce and the salmon had a layer of spinach underneath which was very hard to chew and pretty much like plastic! Just a waste of money it was!!!! Only good thing was the truffle sauce that came with the fries!

A real shame. Been coming here for years but my recent visit was a horror show. First, a waitress rolled a large outdoor bin across the restaurant floor 3 times (!), between the yard and the front door. This made a terrible noise for a long time until she was done. It felt deeply unprofessional to throw the trash this way during lunchtime when the restaurant is filled with patorns. No one should have to eat this close to an outdoor bin. Upon ordering, many dishes we wanted were unavailable (from salad to orange juice, and even the ice cream on the pancakes). Then, the same waitress from before began sorting through clean metal dishpans, tossing them ontop of each other in a loud ruckus. It's almost as if she did this intentionally. At this point I requested to move to a table further from the kitchen, when I noticed the clear and centrally-located employee-board, with an avocado holding a Palestinian flag. Considering this restaurant attracts a huge number of Israeli tourists and is a go-to for many Israelis who live in Amsterdam too, this seemed like a misguided move, in poor taste. All things combined were just too much, and having been a loyal patron for years I won't be coming here again :(

The salads are large, you are satisfied, the flavor is also delicious, the service is always very friendly, being a very busy place, sometimes you have to wait a considerable time for the food, but it is worth it.

The food tastes excellent! But unfortunately the service is not enough. The plates stay on the empty table for a long time, it takes forever for things to move forward. You wait forever for the menu and drinks.

A delight ! Only one small downside: the wait for the dishes. However, my girlfriend and I were served at the same time and we enjoyed ourselves. I find the prices relatively reasonable given the quality of the dishes offered. I loved eating here and will come back if the opportunity arises. I highly recommend !

The Avocado Show has an amazing menu, super healthy and tasty food. Especially for vegetarians and even vegans, but also for omnivores 🦖 The atmosphere is very pleasant, just don't expect a fancy romantic restaurant as it is a modern, American diner style which is absolutely fun.

It has a menu consisting of avocado products. I ate chicken and avocado toast. It wasn't bad, it's preferable. We went early in the morning and chose the table by the window, so the ambiance was pleasant. But in terms of price, I think it does not meet the taste performance.

We were refused because we did not have a reservation, however we booked outside, and were accepted 20 minutes later The wait was long and I ate my dish alone, my partner had hers 40 minutes later The dishes were the same... The avo smash Burger steaks are ridiculously small, and the taste is not particularly interesting... In the end, very disappointed with this restaurant which nevertheless looks very pleasant from the outside, However, we made a commercial gesture and learned afterwards that there was apparently a staff problem that day.

We waited 30 minutes to get a seat, we ordered directly because we had chosen in line and despite that in 45 minutes we only had our drink, to be avoided for tourists who only go to Amsterdam occasionally.

The restaurant does what it promises. Everything about the avocado tastes great! The ideas are great and the avocados are very well seasoned. The breads are recommended for a good breakfast. The iced coffee, however, was not to my taste.

All things about Avocado here 🥑. "Tuna Tease" was a must!. "Benny Boy" was good as well. "Our Avo Toast" was ok. Perfect option for breakfast in Amsterdam.

We enjoyed our experience here! The service was a bit slow at first. We had to actively seek out the waitperson to bring us water and take our order. We wanted to try the pancakes but they were sold out, so be sure to come in the morning if you want the pancakes! The avocado fries were AMAZING! Definitely recommend getting those.
