Cozzy place, good steak and affordable price.

For French customers, beware, this is a scam. We asked for a carafe of water, they gave us a bottle and charged us €7.50 at the end. I ordered a chicken burger for €21, and they served me a chicken and a slice of cheese that were barely hanging on in the bun.

On the menu, it says €18.90 or something like that. But when you order, they tell you that €18.90 is only for the steak itself. Then you have to pay €7 extra for the vegetables, €2 for the sauce, and they don’t even include a simple side dish or bread with it Basically, they lure you in with a low price, and when you get to the restaurant, they don’t even give you bread. If you want bread, you have to pay extra. Absolutely loved this place. The steak was spot on perfectly cooked with really great quality meat. The vibe is super cozy, with nice music in the background that makes you feel relaxed right away. The staff were just fantastic so friendly and attentive without being over the top. It’s a small restaurant, not one of those big commercial chains, and that’s exactly what makes it so special. Feels authentic and welcoming. Definitely coming back.

We had steak. A bit overpriced and the steak was underdone from what we asked for (medium but came close to rare). You have to add extras if you’re having steaks. This is an added payment for chips and mushrooms, etc. The wine was basic with small glasses. The place was okay, but overpriced because it is close to Dam Square.

This restaurant does not pay its employees properly. The boss insults the workers, lies to them about their wages, and does not pay them fairly. On top of that, the quality of the food does not match the high prices, and they cook the so-called halal food in the same pans where they prepare pork.

Rare T-Bone #1! Presentation is that of a home cooked meal by grandma. Is Old World. The steak came of sizzling so tender I actually dropped it on the table picking it up! Be careful! This steak was cooked to perfection strong outer husk with a fresh interior. Slice an orange in half, that was the differentiation from center to sear. A+

I found the food tasty but it was expensive to pay for everything separately. Normally you get fries with meat for a price, but you charge 19 euros for the meat and then another 5 euros for the fries.

You get ripped off completely. A menu is outside, and when you go inside, they stick a more expensive one in your hand. And the problem is, the table next to us ordered from the outside menu, and it was €10 cheaper per person than ours. A total scam... Coke and Fanta are poured from 2-liter bottles and diluted even further. 😂😂😂. A disaster, and then he wanted to add the service charge. I told him the service was bad and I didn't give them anything, even though I always give.

It's a small place. And the food is not served on the most fancy plates...and i wouldn't want it any other way. The fajitas are just what they supposed to be. The taste, the smell, the look...all perfect. Service is always with a smile.

We ordered portions for 8 people and were served portions for 4, making us believe it was for sharing. However, the price was for 8 portions.

Regrettable!! They made fun of us. We ordered 8 identical portions, and they brought us 4 portions to share, claiming they didn't have enough plates for everyone. We repeatedly asked for bread for the fajitas, and they never arrived because they didn't have any. When it was time to pay, they charged us for 8 portions. We ordered salads, and they were ridiculous. The waitress agreed with us but didn't offer a solution. I wouldn't go back.

Quite disappointing. Tomato soup was okay, but not great. Steak arrived looking mangled, as if chef had cut into it multiple times to check the wellness (ordered medium), as the pic shows, was much more rare than medium. Won’t be stopping by again.

This place had somewhat decent food but overpriced for small quantities. We were asked to change tables during our meal to accommodate a group of people. The restaurant staff person was apologetic but this is not an acceptable thing to do.

This is one of those ''tourist traps'' restaurants in the city center of Amsterdam. They give you extreme small portions. The meat wasn't that great. They charged €46 for a very small portion of salad, fries and steak. Nothing is included. They charge for everything seperately, steak, sauce, fries, salad etc. But advertise everything as one. The salad was very basic, the chef did not even put much effort. I refuse to believe this what Argentinians are known for. I do not recommend people to go to these Argentinian/Latin style restaurants in the city center of Amsterdam. The food is garbage and way overpriced. I am regularly in Amsterdam so many next time I will have another visit and have a good ''talk'' with the restaurant owner about his scam. As I see from other replies they are doing nothing to improve. Some people understand only one language, and that is not one with the mouth...
