The Black Tiger Bar Amsterdam in Burgwallen-Oude Zijde

Place is very buisy. Two levels make it quite spacious. Toikets are quite ok for Amsterdam center, but the bar staff were quite lazy, and when they don't wanna do some drinks, they simply, lie that they are out of ingredients.

The blonde woman behind the bar on the second floor turned off the music and asked us to leave half an hour before closing time, with an attitude that definitely left much to be desired.

The pub is for olds, not recommended if you in your twenties…

Came twice with the pub crawl two years in a row - it's a great time here. The hosts make sure all the members mingle and get to know each other a bit and this is a great chilled spot to do icebreakers at. I love the test tube shots hahaha

A really cool bar in a really beautiful location. The beer glasses are kept in the fridge so the beer stays as cold as possible. One point deducted for the cleanliness of the restrooms; they weren't cleaned once during our stay, which was evident from the vomit 🙈

Charges €1 extra for card payments under €20. The only place I found in Amsterdam that did this in my 3 night stay. Robbery.

I had a terrible experience at Black Tiger Bar. While leaving at 12:45 AM (15 minutes before closing), the bouncer was unnecessarily rude and even grabbed me forcefully. This behavior was completely uncalled for and unacceptable. As a customer, I expected respect, not aggression. I would not recommend this bar to anyone. Avoid at all cost!!

If you’re in a group this is a good place to come as it’s spacious compared to most places in Amsterdam. The window seat is awesome on a warm day and you can spend hours drinking the day away watching the world go by in the RLD below you. Sport on the TV and music played throughout the day/night - random mix of pop/hiphop/80s but at a reasonable level. Price isn’t to bad for the RLD, the staff were uninterested but not rude. The place needs a bit of a clean, but as long as you know in advance this place isn’t trying to be the ritz you should have a good time.

honestly love this place. i tweeted something from here and got the most likes i’ve ever gotten. they didn’t have the shots deal that they advertised on all the tables, but i can look over that because the toilets were all super tall and it makes me feel dainty

Popped in here for a drink on a bar crawl in the RLD- I found this bar welcoming, friendly, reasonably priced and clean. It was very busy, but we were still served efficiently, and should I be back in the area again, I would visit again.

1 euro extra for card orders under 20 euros. They put my order through separately after ordering together to get 2 euro card charge. Additionally I ordered a Heineken and a double gin and lemonade, which came to 25 euro total. Absolutely ridiculous.

In the heart of the red light district we stopped in for a drink and a rest after walking all day. We went in the downstairs bar as it was quiet. There's a pool table down there and plenty of screens which were showing the Premier league. Would come back again

I had a total of 11 drinks here and left at 1 AM. I had to be up at 7 AM for a flight. I think I was drunk at the airport. Hair of the dog, I continued to have beers and bitterballen there. That was a long and arduous trek back to Dallas. Would reccommend.

Didn't eat here so can't comment on food. This bar was very lively, in the middle of the red light district. If you can bag a place to sit downstairs then you're fine. There are extra seats upstairs but no bar. The music was a bit hard core dance for me but and the toilets were rank! Apart from this, it's a good place for a beer if you fancy one.

Service und Ambiente sind tagsüber toll. Abends ist es meist sehr voll und leider nur Männer. Im unteren Geschoss wo man Billard spielen kann sind alle sitze sehr kaputt und auch die Decke. Das könnte man schöner machen.

Für einen kleinen Abstecher war der Aufenthalt ganz okay. Man kann unten und oben sitzen. Im hinteren Bereich Richtung Toilette war es sehr dreckig. Zudem nichts für Menschen im Rollstuhl. Die Bedienung war sehr überfordert und hier sollte man aufstocken.

The bar is right in the middle of The Red Lights Street. Beautiful street view. The prices are average. The place is the best for resting after walking around. You should visit and grab a beer here. I really liked the atmosphere.

Un endroit vraiment chill en semaine, le service ce fait assez rapidement, je n'ai pris que un cocktail qui m'a malheureusement un peu déçu ( le "orgasm" mais je pense que c'est pas représentatif), donc je conseil :)

6 beers for 30€ and 10 shots for 20€, not too bad. Music was a bit loud, and there was no soap in the toilet.

If your in a groups go down stairs if your maybe 3 or 4 or less go upstairs, toilets are to be expected of such an establishment

Cool enough bar, but literally the worst pool room in the entire world, and whoever thought putting a pool table in a tiny room with several people in it was a good idea should be fired.

Awesome bar with plenty of screens on for sport. Also some really cool people from UK were there having a good time and not causing any trouble. Extra star as Sean Underwood was nowhere to be seen. Toilets weren't the best but as long as there's somewhere to drop the kids off, it's all good!

the bar open plan, not the cleanest but we liked it in there, we were a group of 8 and sat in the window, the poor girl had just started working there that day, looked like she'd been thrown in, however she did a fab job it got quite busy and there was no loo roll, she was running all over to find it and did so quckly, also I ordered a coffee and she didn't know where the milk was, she did all she could despite serving other customers and eventually found me some milk, so well done lady if we owned a bar you'd be hired

The best place I've ever visited

The bar is located right in the middle of the redlight street. To use the card, you need to make a purchase over 22 Euros, otherwise they charge a commission. First of all I want to point out that this commission is illegal, please keep your receipt and complain when they request it. Interior design is bad, toilets (even on weekdays) are dirty. Also, the volume of the music was unnecessarily loud in my opinion.
