Café 't Steegje in Grachtengordel-Zuid

Horrible bartender last night. You don't yell at guests/customers when they accidentally put their hat on. And if you, as a guest/customer, try to explain it, you get yelled at even more. Horrible person. I'm a bartender myself, and that's no way to treat guests/customers. If you can't handle the hospitality industry anymore, quit.

I don't usually leave reviews, but I just had to. The bouncer at this place cursed us (words with illness, not allowed here according to Google guidelines – Google has some education) after one of us jokingly touched a lamp? I understand that a prank – even a minor one – isn't always nice or welcome, but then you confront someone about it or kick them out if you find it so offensive. It's a decent guy to use those kinds of words towards women 👍🏻

A lovely café with a live singer most evenings. Friendly and attentive service! Good sound quality. Highly recommended!

We were refused entry because of the space in our passports. When I went back to tell the security guard I thought this was strange (and recorded it on a voice memo, stupid, I shouldn't have done or said anything to him), he knocked my phone out of my hand and came threateningly at me, telling me to leave.

We went to this bar seeing all the good reviews. However, we felt uncomfortable. The bar man is very rude, makes no effort, no politeness. Relatively high price. I won't set foot there again.

A night out with some friends Also went here because everyone wanted to go in. Dutch music is not really my genre and that is mainly played here. But if you are with friends it is a nice cafe with friendly bar people. Definitely recommended if you are on Rembrandtplein.

Super leuk, klein tentje met perfect geluid voor een gast die komt optreden. Goede sfeer en hele fijne barkeepers. Niets was teveel gevraagd. Wij hadden het café afgehuurd met 25 personen. Dit was voor ons een top locatie!!

Leuk feestcafe. De DJ hoorde zichzelf wel erg graag. Beetje jammer. Verder een leuk cafe om een avondje/ nachtje door te halen!
