One of the better bars at leidsenplein! The drinks are relatively cheap, the service is good and there is plenty of space. They were also playing good music which really added to the atmosphere!

Giovanni and I went to this place on Froukje's recommendation. The song "Hart in Brand" with the lyrics "Relationship just ended, but I don't feel so bad. With Froekie in the Uber on the way to the Lux." We expected more. But you can definitely stop for a cocktail.

The bouncer at the door was incredibly rude. When I smoked outside with my friends he basically shoved me to the side aggressively and told us to get out. After we tried to go in he said he would not let us even when our stuff was inside. Saying he didn’t care and he’s the person who decides if he goes in or not. Incredibly insulting and disgusting

We love this place for pre drinks.

The interior contains occult symbols and images. Hanging symbols of Baphomet with horns, a photo of some occultist with an inverted cross - these are symbols of Satanism. There's a pile of newspapers on the wall, all headlined "murder." Such symbolism placed in public should be stigmatized. I have the impression that they use it for a purpose. If the owner posted something like this in his own cafe, it must be his interests into it. I do not recommend.

Amazing bar, wonderful people and guests

Great lighting and welcoming staff. The atmosphere is super relaxed and chill. They had no music, which made our conversation a bit less private, but it was ok after the tables were filled with people

Heerlijk café! Fijne sfeer, top locatie en top bediening.

Locatie is top en de kamer ziet er in eerste instantie prima uit. Punten van kritiek: - Je ruikt de riolering. - toen we incheckten, was de schoonmaakster nog bezig. Een drinkglas werd als asbak gebruikt en de hele kamer stonk naar zojuist bereidde vis. - uitzicht van onze kamer was hopelijk. Alleen als je op je tenen stond, kon je door de ramen naar buiten kijken - te weinig glazen voor een bezetting van 4 mensen - geen keukenrol, geen shampoo, enz enz... Beetje karig allemaal. En dat voor zo'n stevig bedrag per overnachting.... Volgende keer zoek ik verder

Intimate, spacious and aesthetically pleasing bar with a pool table. Bookable for a group of 20 people apparently.

Bit of a classic to go here. They have multiple smaller rooms in the building with all their own atmosphere. Can get pretty crowded on peak hours in the weekend. Drinks are not cheap here, but nice to visit from time to time.

Weinig drank keuzes, qua cocktails. Maar een fijn plekje om te zitten !! Niet te druk, lekker rustig. Wel wat saai muziek.

Prima tent, beetje Gotham achtige sfeer. Ik was met m’n vriend Darco naar de film (Batman) en toen wat gedronken. Kon een schaar krijgen om m’n pleister te knippen want ik had me gesneden. Thuis hoor.

I really like this place. It's the pretty sister bar of Bar Weber two doors down. Very busy on weekends however it's always possible to find a table or a nook to sit and sip away at a beer. The bar can be more tricky to reach since there's always people sitting in front. There is no DJ here, just a playlist and the music is meh. There is a smoking area inside.

Bar lux & Weber is a well known bar, if you need to meet up for drinks in the middle of the week it's a perfect spot the venue is always open. The service is decent and interior always cozy. Good for tourist and locals

Cosy bar with lots of locals and a cosy atmosphere. I enjoy the start of my friday nights in bars like these the most, although sometimes its a bit TOO busy. If you like a good crowd and good drinks, this is the place to go

Very hipster bar with crowds of people. This place just has an atmosphere that I admire, it feels comfortable to chill and drink here even though there are always so many people, but I could do with less people. Cafe Lux is one of my go to bars in Amsterdam with friends.

Cool bar near the Daam. Cheaper than the bars in the heart of tourist town. Easy-going atmosphere.

Bar close to the popular leidseplein. Atmosphere is nice and decorated well.
