Un gran lugar, agradable con buenas bebidas, buenos pasteles y un gran ambiente. Nunca está de más escuchar un acento kiwi en todo el mundo, y esto no fue diferente. Un lugar divertido que es un buen pub acogedor con un juego de pies en la televisión y un pastel de carne en el horno. ¡Sin quejas!

Íbamos a pasar por uno descarado de camino a casa después de un gran día en la ciudad. Fuimos recibidos por Jackie que tiene la sonrisa y la risa más grande! Conocí a sus amigos y habituales y probé algo de su comida, que era encantador. Era muy tarde para cuando nos fuimos! Creo que ahora somos los mejores amigos. Sin duda recomendaría.

As soon as we entered the bartender rolled his eyes at us, when we ordered it felt like he didn’t even want us to order. Music was really loud. No wonder it was empty, not welcoming at all

No estábamos seguros de si entrar en el kiwi, pero nos alegró. Las bebidas eran de precio razonable y el bar tender (Hilary) nos hizo sentir muy bienvenidos. Muchas charlas y discusiones con ella y algunos de los otros clientes! Definitivamente no es la mala recepción que algunas de las críticas describen.

The bartender is a very kind woman. The atmosphere is very pleasant, it is cozy, it doesn't smell like cigarettes or marijuana. Everyone is very calm and the prices are very good. We came to watch a Premier League match and everything was very good, happy with the attention.

Clearly too important to even do her job. Refused to make food because we wouldn’t drink alcohol. Take a little time to be nice to your customers; it costs nothing. A very disappointing and dissatisfying experience. Gives a bad impression on an otherwise beautiful city.

Cute little hoek bar with a very nice barmaid who accomodated for our needs. 90s grunge music in the background and a good selection of classic spirits. Not planned but was a good catch.

Great bar on the corner of Nassaukade and De Clercqstraat. It’s a large space and you may watch some sports on their numerous tv screens. The owner is very friendly and knows all the locals. Great service here. I have not had any food except the bar food which is great.

Went to watch Springboks vs All Blacks. Nice vibe, pity SA lost. Jackie was a good hostess.

The manager of a bar was really nice, the beer was delicious and there were free games available! It's a very classic bar but with a great atmosphere! I highly recommend it!

Good bar with a good range of drinks and free poured spirits which is always my favourite. The bar owner is a smart, pretty, feisty woman who is up for a lively discussion with her customers - our party talked to her about the F1 and one of our party in particular had an enjoyable discussion with the bar owner and other customers about which F1 driver was best! However I suspect if you don’t like smart feisty women having a chat then this isn’t the bar for you. But if you do like them then you are likely to have a lot of fun 😊. I’d definitely go back.

We stopped in here for a beer to get out of the rain and stayed for hours. Hilary was so great. Super friendly and the only person I will ever buy Rose from (it was amazing). We will definitely be visiting again next time we are in Amsterdam. Thanks for everything. All the love ❤️

Finally found an NZ beer, best hops in the world. If you're a kiwi in the Netherlands you need to go.

I asked the lady what the steak pie comes with and she responds with “a fork and a knife because this is a bar.” I don’t appreciate sarcasm for first impression in any type of establishment especially after a long day of walking. Bar owner I see that many people have the same issue with her rudeness. I am surprised you haven’t got rid of her yet. Go to Moeders right across the stress. Super friendly staff and will treat you as a customer. No wonder they were packed and kiwi was empty.
