It’s just okay. Poached eggs were overcooked, not runny at all. Blueberry pancakes were just average. No air con inside.

The Sparkling Ice Tea was bad, and the service was really slow. The smash burger was average.

Complete disappointment with the staff. I am also very disappointed with the way I was treated. It is not like it used to be, and the place has not been well maintained for a long time.

The environment felt chaotic overall. Staff members were loudly discussing things among themselves in Spanish most of the time, which made the place feel noisy and distracting rather than warm and welcoming. There was very little positive energy, and overall it just didn’t feel pleasant to spend time there. The plates and glasses we received were dirty, which was disappointing. Service was also surprisingly slow considering there were barely any guests, while staff seemed more focused on their phones The food was cold and coffee had an unpleasant, bitter taste — honestly, it tasted as if the coffee machine hadn’t been cleaned for years

Unfortunately, the food was cold. We weren't asked if we wanted anything else, nor were we asked if we were satisfied. The noise level (clattering dishes, constant rearranging) was very unpleasant, making conversation difficult. The price-performance ratio is also poor. Please don't use TikTok/Insta as a good food spot.

Brit abroad stumbles into a seemingly independent breakfast cafe and finds out later it's a global chain and it's actually available in the UK to boot! That aside very nice food and coffee, staff really friendly dispite us not speaking the local language, would happily recommend!

The food was nothing special; the portion was barely enough to feed a child. Waiting an hour for our food was outrageous for the price. The iced tea tasted like tap water. I'd rather starve than come back here.

I was here about two years ago, and the decor is almost exactly the same as it was then. The menu hasn't changed much either. We ordered avocado bread with bacon and added an extra egg. We were especially pleased to find a halal option for the bacon. The bacon was a bit salty, though, so I'd recommend not adding any extra salt, as it can quickly become overpowering. The regular portion only contains one egg, so in my opinion, it's not quite filling. The freshly squeezed orange juice, on the other hand, was really delicious. You usually expect a slightly bitter taste, but here it was very well-balanced and pleasant. The staff were very polite and attentive. If you sit by the window, you can enjoy a lovely view, especially in the morning. The prices were also perfectly reasonable. We paid about €45 for two people, which is really fair for Amsterdam. The location is also easily accessible; you can get there directly from the central train station by public transport. I can definitely recommend this café.

If you don’t appreciate service this is the right place. It takes endless time until they take your order. As I read the review here, I noticed it seems like you can order via QR code, but they never told me. I won’t go there anymore - because of no serving. Table was flirty as well.

They can't cook eggs properly. The matcha latte was awful; it tasted like hot milk with a single spoonful of matcha in it—completely pointless. The eggs Benedict were overcooked, which is ridiculous for a breakfast restaurant. Avoid this place at all costs; the few customers inside should have been a warning sign.

We had breakfast here around noon on the last day of our stay. The pancakes were truly delicious: we tried a Classic French Toast and a New York Pancake, generous portions, almost like lunch. The staff was friendly and helpful. For these two, an apple juice and an iced cappuccino, we paid €38.50. Highly recommended!

Good and tasty food but the wait time is horrible, even with half the restaurant empty. Had to wait 20 minutes before someone told us that what we ordered was no longer available.

What a gem of a place. Tempted by reviews I walked to The Breakfast Club in the rain and it was work every step. I intended to have avocado toast, but on seeing the menu I ordered the Mexican breakfast. I was not disappointed. It was superb, as was the coffee of which I had a second cup. Great atmosphere and super friendly staff made this a most enjoyable visit. I will be sure to visit again.

We have been coming to Amsterdam for years but today was our first visit and it was a great experience. We visited around 11 am and tables were available straight away. The staff were extremely friendly and the food was amazing. We tried the french toast and the egg Benedict California. The cappuccino is very good also. We will definitely be coming back here.

My wife and I went on a culinary trip in Amsterdam. The Breakfast Club was on our list for breakfast for Saturday. We walked for 35min to get to here. And I must say: the food was delicious. The woman that served us was a ray of sunshine and so warming. Even so that the next day we went back. What we ate: - Chicken Waffles - Mexico City (Huevos Rancheros) - Chachuka - French Toast When visiting Amsterdam, make sure you visit The Breakfast Club Haarlemmerplein

Top quality breakfast, service and price

We waited 40 minutes for our order, and only after we inquired did the server go to the kitchen to check. It arrived 5 minutes later. As compensation, we received a complimentary drink – I think they had forgotten about us. Other guests who arrived after us had already finished eating and left. During the 40-minute wait, the server never once came to check if everything was alright or if we needed anything. The food was mediocre; the French toast wasn't very moist, and the cream on top wasn't very tasty either.

We came for breakfast and it was very good. We had a pleasant time. The staff was very friendly. Our pancakes were delicious! Better than at other places. We didn’t have to wait too long and we loved our table by the window!

Eggs were overcooked and tasted like vinegar, hollandaise was liquid and tasted like mayonnaise, guacamole had no taste just like the tomato and lettuce. Very disappointed, could have done better at home. It’s too bad, I really wanted to try other items on the menu but seeing as I’m not the only one whose poached eggs were ruined, I’m not going back.

I hope someone finds this useful, but I do not recommend this place. We sat at the table downstairs, but since it was a table for 4, waitress asked us to sit at another table for 2 (place was 1/3 empty at the time, but okay, not a problem). She sat us down at a table upstairs and gave us menus. Then we were waiting for like 15 minutes and nobody took our order, but people who came in after us were ordering. I went to the counter and asked if they can take our order and then another waitress said we should order via QR code. I do not know why she couldn’t tell us that at the begining. So we ordered via QR code and had to pre-pay our order. When we got our order, one person got it wrong (pouched eggs with bacon instead of salmon). I asked for replacement and the second time I got completely overcooked eggs. At that time I was already shaking and wanted to leave, but since I pre-paid and already lost 45 minutes of my time my friend went downstairs and asked for a new plate. Luckily third time everything was fine and waitress asked if I wanted a complimentary drink, which was kind. The whole experience all together was really not good, especially considering the prices. I think you should really pay more attention to customer service, the place was not even full and anyways there were so many problems. Also to all the customers I recommend you that you sit downstairs and don’t pre-pay.

During our visit to Amsterdam in October, this was a great way to start each morning. Starting here, after a really delicious breakfast, you can easily explore Amsterdam on foot.

This is the second time I've been here at different times of the year. In May, the atmosphere was fantastic; having breakfast outside in the heat while watching the city go by was truly indescribable. Yesterday, in the middle of December, right in the middle of the Christmas period, sitting inside in the warmth and chatting with the girls was wonderful! Meeting up like this by chance, even far from home. I highly recommend dropping in, even just for a coffee, because everything is magical and spectacular! A must-see on every trip to Amsterdam!

We loved it here! The French toast was delicious, especially the vanilla creamy topping- yum! We also had the avocado toast and put an extra egg on top, very fresh and tasty. The vanilla latte was smooth and creamy too

I was here to study the other day, the breakfast was good. I liked the staff a lot, they were very nice. Maybe not ideal to study because it gets busy, a bit noisy and there's not many plugs to charge your devices. But all in all a good place for breakfast!

Bread with avocado and a fried egg, among other things. Unfortunately, the fried egg was cold/lukewarm and seemed pre-cooked. We reported it, but the waitress said it was due to the chef's poor scheduling. It's a shame for a sandwich you pay a lot for. The woman who helped us was friendly, but the rest seemed rather disinterested, playing with their phones. I'll skip this place next time. Overpriced and not good value for money.

Breakfast this morning was so good. The English breakfast tea, made with loose leaves, was perfectly smooth and comforting. And the croissant? Buttery, soft, and absolutely delicious with the jam. Simple, cozy, and exactly what I needed to start my day.

Visited the Breakfast Club at Haarlemmerplein today. Staff friendliness was a bit disappointing — two out of three seemed completely disinterested, almost as if serving customers was a chore. One was banging plates and cutlery so loudly that my sister asked if I thought maybe she was angry. The coffee was fine, but the atmosphere was quite noisy (though I admit I’m a bit sensitive to noise). Overall, not terrible, but definitely room for improvement, the place could be much better with a friendlier, calmer vibe.

Great spot, right by the trams and local game stores, vintage thrifts, and yarn shops, with friendly staff and a talented kitchen serving up breakfast and brunch favorites with Dutch flair. We had the scrambled eggs (with cheese) on toast and it was so creamy and delicious. Best scrambled eggs I’ve had in a while. It was a quiet morning in the cafe and our food came out in 10 minutes.

Nice place for people watching, good seating outside. I tried something different and had the mexico city breakfast, paid extra for the chorizo but it was measly 4 slices between the tortilla, which is very little for the price. Food was good, not special, but I'm still interested in trying out the other dishes. Coffee was good.

For the chicken waffles, the fried chicken was not crunchy at all and waffles were soggy. The salad was not washed properly and had no olive oil or anything. Service was very slow as well. This kind of food and service was not expected from the breakfast club.

We have tried egg benedicts and english breakfasts. Unfortunately non of them met our expectation. I'm working on the breakfast service in London so actually how they should have been 🥲 But the worst part was the coffee. I ordered flatwhite it was ok but the americanos were unfortunately so bad. Maybe because of the coffee beans that they are using, maybe the machine... The only good part was the staff. I couldn't get his name but he dealt very well with our questions and requests.

For the celebration of the King, the six of us went to breakfast...there was a wait but they served us quickly...The place is nice with very good cuisine and very well presented dishes...as well as correct prices...they serve you inside...on the second floor or outside...I recommend it...very close to the Central Station
