I ordered two double smashed burgers, with extra bacon. Bacon was missing from both burgers. The fries were limp and lukewarm, probably sitting out of the fryer for a while and not freshly fried. They also forgot to include the fries, and I had to point out the receipt to a staff member, which clearly stated a portion of fries. Drinks were lukewarm, and the burgers themselves were nothing to write home about. This whole thing cost €49.50. First and last time.

A bit of a disappointing experience. First, despite there being at least six staff members, we had to wait a long time to order. A single smash burger for €10.40. A bun, one thin, almost cold patty, poorly assembled, with some sauce, lettuce, and pickles on the outer edges. Lots of bread, little meat. The fries were incredibly salty. Popcorn chicken was fine. The mozzarella sticks were really good, though. No sauce was in sight or offered. The price-quality ratio is disproportionate. This has to be better, right?

The food was great. Juicy burger, crispy fries, and Sophia was incredibly polite and attentive to my needs.

Unfortunately, they've switched to cheap frying oil. My body can't tolerate it, probably sunflower oil. Both the burger and the sweet potato fries are fried in it. I had a hot chick burger, sweet potato fries, and a cola for €31, and just like last time, they forgot the mayo. But I needed a Rennie to sleep. For this price, they really should use better frying oil or cook it on a stovetop. Too bad.

The food was good, but nothing special. Certainly not for the price you pay. Just really overpriced. 2 Hamburgs, 1 portion of fries €32.20, and 80 cents for the sauce. For these prices, you should expect perfect burgers, but these aren't. They're quite small and nothing special, really. It feels to me like there's no love for the product, and the goal is simply to fill pockets. I expected more. The service was fine, and there was plenty of room to eat around it. Okay, clean.

The burger would have been quite good, but it had been sitting on the counter so long that it was cold. The fries were very good. The tiny portion of mayonnaise (about 10 ml) for 80 cents was an absolute disgrace! The bun wasn't toasted and served with no taste. A cold cheeseburger with small fries and a tiny dollop of mayonnaise for 18.75 is pretty expensive. Especially when it's cold and you have to wait forever for it. Even though there was nothing to do, I waited 25 minutes for a burger and some fries. In the first 20 minutes, not a single dish was served. I've never seen such slow-moving, bored, and at the same time, bad-tempered people working in the restaurant industry. Absolutely not recommended! Save yourself the money, time, and hassle. The burger was best served, but it was so long on the toon bank that it was good. The fry is delicious. The small portion of mayonaise (about 10 ml) for 80 cents is a real shame! The broodje was never roosterd and smaakt nergens naar. A small cheeseburger with small fries and a small dumpling with mayonnaise for 18.75 is available for a long time. Above all else, he is alone on his watch. No matter how he didn't do anything, I woke up for 25 minutes with a burger and a fry. In the first 20 minutes he will be served to his grandchildren. Got here at 20:40 and the people working there clearly don’t feel like it anymore. Get yelled at: “we’re closed”….. go ahead. I think they close at 21:00 but it’s clearly not his business….. advice to the owner: replace your staff, especially that guy with a beard who looks like the chef who really wants to go home early. NB only restaurant that didn’t take any more customers!

Burger tasted good, order was okey, friendly staff. Not necessarily an atmosphere because you eat outside in the mall itself. but the sign is annoying. Ate here last Saturday, paid 71 euros in total. I don't think the burgers were cooked properly because I have been very ill with food poisoning since then. I'm just still sick. My partner also got sick after consuming The Butcher's burger, but not as bad as I did. HAPPILY the children ate something else there. I hardly ever eat on the street, but I was at Westfield Mall all day, so I opted for it anyway. I'm so sorry! This is terrible!

My experience started negative with a waiting time of more than 45 min for just a burger and fries. Price is expensive at 20 eur including 2 toppings. Taste was ok for the burger although the minced meat could use some more flavor, fries were not great… would I recommend? Nah not if I have to wait for 45 min for just a burger and fries.. they even forgot the fries lol and there were not even any ppl queuing for service.

Horrible place, such a shame though, lost potential due to the employees that literally could not care less for anything. The burgers are cold, patty is overcooked, they take a long time. One guy there was on his phone and listening to a voice note the whole time while preparing food. There were 3 employees at the time and I can’t see how management allows this type of behavior, like come on guys? Don’t spend your money there, it’s a waste

Tip 1: hire new staff, incredibly unfriendly. Tip 2: place multiple "order here" panels. Cash only possible at the cash register. Not mentioned anywhere. It took too long to order via the panel, so I left.

33 euros for two meager burgers and two cans of soft drinks. A long queue for a malfunctioning ordering column and then a half-hour wait for the food. How do you come up with it??? Definitely not worth repeating!

Staff is not friendly/welcoming. It is an open kitchen where you can see that they are working in a relaxed manner, no structure and no management. We had to wait 40 minutes for 2 burgers, 1 fries and 2 soft drinks. Burgers were okay, including a large piece of tomato on top. Fries were cold and the bag of the fries also contained stray chicken and black overcooked fries. Lots of angry people. All in all price quality not okay.

Customer Service is very bad, you have employee called Maxwell he is very arrogant. I made an order for chicken wings with buffalo sauce and when the order was ready there was no buffalo sauce . I told him I don’t want it, he refuses to cancel as it wasn’t my fault if you don’t have just remove it from the menu. He start shouting and telling do what ever you want

Incredibly bad service. Ordered four burgers for home delivery. Even though it is really a lot of money per hamburger (between 12 and 15 euros on average, without fries or drinks!) we decided to give it a try. It said it would take 40-60 minutes. It is now almost an hour and a half later and the delivery time seems to be getting delayed. We're happy when we get our burgers in fifteen minutes. And The Butcher's restaurant is less than one kilometer from here. Crawling there would be faster. They scam people with delivery times. Why not be honest and say that you are very busy and that it is almost two hours away? Never again The Butcher for us.

I tried to order a burger at this place. The guys were all busy except one skinny one (who told me he was the leader) I tried to talk to him but he was on a video call with a girl the whole time. When I tried to talk to him again to ask for information he turned and left.

We ordered food and were waiting. While we were waiting we could see the kitchen. One of the three ladies was eating something. She then licked her fingers. She then picked up the individual burgers and slices of cheese! Without washing her hands. My friend also noticed this and immediately indicated that he did not find this hygienic and immediately reported to the ladies that this was not fresh. We then got our money back. But, we will never order here again. Then a big mouth from the lady that we had not seen it properly. While other customers also saw it and didn't want it anymore. Too bad I waited for nothing and still got a big mouth back. Really not fresh!

Very bad staff. Ordered at 6.15 pm and 45 minutes later still had not seen any of the food. Tried to buy from them just right now. 1 kiosk to order. We just wanted 1 portion of fries. 3 employees standing there doing nothing and talking near the register. Kiosk occupied by a family of five choosing their lunch. “Can we order fries here?” No, kiosk. Waited 4 minutes and went elsewhere. Please train your lazy people first, before starting a service business.

Due to the crowds we had to wait a little longer than normal, but the food was delicious. The crazy chick burger was nice and crispy and fresh. To compensate for the longer wait, the manager offered us an ice cream. All in all good solution and friendly staff.

Ate on location at The Mall of the Netherlands. The lamb burgers were hard and dry, as if they had just come out of the freezer. Very disappointing. The sweet potato fries were okay. The employee we spoke to was short and not customer friendly. Not recommended!

We had to wait more than 10 minutes for 2 cans of drinks, they don't look at other orders at all, only the ones they are making at that moment, while they could easily have grabbed 2 cans of drinks in between.

Wish I would have checked the reviews before eating at this place, but we were in the mall and had already been turned away at the sports bar due to the crowds. After waiting in line for more than 20 minutes at around 8pm (the electronic self-checkout was extremely slow and unresponsive, people using it were even slower due to not checking the menu before hand and taking forever to pick what they wanted, plus it would only let you select "well-done" for how you want your burger cooked, otherwise the menu wouldn't allow you to continue/complete your order), it took an HOUR to be served disgusting BLACK/burned hamburgers and everything (regular fries, sweet potato fries and mozzarella sticks) was cold, over-cooked and over-priced. NOT recommended.

If you order delivery here, you'd better have something else at home as well. 2.5 hours waiting, no communication, they just left us hanging. An earlier and proactive cancellation would have been appreciated, so we could have had time to order somewhere else.

The burger was tasty, fries cold! For what we ordered, I thought it was overpriced! In my opinion, it took a long time, even though not many burgers were being made at that time! The pager rings, your food is there and no one hands it to you or says enjoy your meal! 2.20 for some avocado topping?! Go there if you want something easy to eat, but don't expect much in terms of atmosphere or service!

The worst food ever. I was with 2 of my friends, we order the same time from different places, after 10 min they was start eating and I was still waiting for my burger from this place..I order one burger ,one onion rings and I was waiting for 46 minutes. The onion rings was burn and dry and brown, I need to return it and ask new one. It was not possible to eat it. She start making another one and I give the burn onion rings back. She was angry 😡 and not nice to me. She didn't ask apologize. She turn her face and the time she was making the onion rings, saying bad words. The burger bad test,the sauce also. One Star it's to much believe me. Not friendly, bad food, expensive, waiting for more then 40 minutes. For sure I will never past from there. And I will inform all my family and friends not to get food from there. This store need faster chef and friendly people to work there . They charge me 36 euro for one burger one onion rings and one coca cola.

Treated extremely poorly by a Dutch lady with a tattoo on her forearm. I don't understand how someone like that represents a place like the Butchers. No sense of customer service at all. I wanted to pay in cash and she said it is not possible because she has no change. I indicated that I tried it on and she took the order with a sigh. I paid correctly. Afterwards we discovered that we had not ordered our drinks and asked to pay for 2 Pepsi by card. Madam became very irritated! Stomped her arm on the table and very rudely told her male colleague to take over (who was friendly.) Please don't let these types of people work in the catering industry!

Unfortunately they changed the recipe for the ugly beef. I first enjoyed eating here, but now twice it has been bland. I miss the sauce, the peppers and other additions that were there before. I don't know if I'll eat here again next time

I order from the Entertainer App and every time I put in the special instructions 'NO PLASTIC CUTLERY!' However my meal always arrives with your very heavy plastic utensil pack. Please consider using a biodegradable option for your cutlery and PLEASE respect the wishes of you customer when they specifically requested no cutlery. Most customers do not need these extra utensils when they are dining at home, only put them in the bag when asked for. Please reduce your plastic waste.

The interior design looks nice and catchy but the food is not good at all. The chicken burger was bland. I can get a better chicken burger from Bram. The burger was also bland, and relied on the sauce to have some taste. It’s not worth to spend your money here. Just get something nice from the Burger King, it is better quality and taste than this lower-than-cafeteria level of a “burger” restaurant. The popcorn chicken have some flavor thought but it was obvious that it was not fresh and fried more than two times already.

Soft ice cream was really inedible and had a very strange aftertaste.

My friend and I ordered 2 different burgers. On the way my friend already had a stomach ache when we got home, everything came out. I got sick in the middle of the night. Now both sick in bed. Something must have been very bad or expired. Never again !

Almost an hour waiting and food still not ready!!!!

The automatic payment system is lagging all the time . Instead of a scroll down function it keeps adding burgers . After 10 minutes I managed to place my order . But they don’t give you a physical receipt there , you need to ask for it . When the order came , I realized that the selection was strangely changed . I am 99% that I chose another one , since I was removing burgers all the time and also removed lettuce . Also the receipt had different amount and selection of sauces and that wasn’t reflecting in the total value ( there were 2 missing ). Before picking up the tray I told this to the people there ( 3 people working , but none can take any orders ) , but they didn’t care .

Recently ate here. 30 euros for two burgers, fries and a drink is a lot for the quality. Burgers are American style. Greasy, soggy and sweet bun. Burgers were smaller than I expected for €11.45. Fries were OK.

I can only give this one star as it was a non-experience. Arrived 12 minutes before opening. No problem, prepared to wait. Asked for a menu but was brusquely told that's only available after 12 as well??? I fail to understand why I cannot view the menu before opening time. I found the menu online, no thanks to the staff, but the logic and attitude were annoying. I've eaten here before and the burgers are good but I'll probably not be back.

Waited 35 minutes for the food and then got a cold burger and the worst hot wings in my life. Burger was cold and little sauce on it. Hot wings were dry and hard as if they had already been fried three times and only tasted like tabasco

Ordering took almost 40 minutes. The staff has lost their calm and seems totally listless. The fries were at most lukewarm and clattered together. But no wonder if they lie around forever. Burger was okay, but overall the price-performance ratio of around €50 for 2 burgers and a portion of fries is absolutely not right. Once and never again.

First of all i have to say that i have been an absolute fan of The Butcher since they came to Westfield, NL, recomending them to all my friends, but things have changed, specialy the terrible attitude of the woman in her 50's, she is extremely rude to customers, she behaves as she is the boss of every one there, including the customers, she was sending me away as my hamburger was not ready, in such a terrible rude way. I explained i was in a hury so i wanted to wait there, but she didn’t like it, unfourtunately every time she is there is the same story, terrible service and bossing around customers, but this story goes worst, I have 2 theories; due to her insatisfaction, there was something added to my hamburger that and I was food poisoned, otherwise something went very wrong with the hamburgers that day (20-April-2024) I spoke with staff who works in the mall and eat there and said they got food poisoning from the butcher in the past. Very sad that this is happening, i used to love the friendly staff and the hamburguers.

Price-quality ratio is hard to find. Fries cold. Burger cold. Adding avocado costs €2.20 and cannot be found on the burger. Can of PESPI for almost 4 euros. In short, not recommended.

My friend and I ordered two classic butcher cheese with some adjustments. Additionally some snacks on the side. The food was exceptional, the taste is really inimitable, the best burgers in The Hague. The stuff was very happy to see us and help, we were welcomed with open arms. The general atmosphere is remarkable. Everyone that gives less than 4 starts is the problem. :3

The meat was okay, but everything else wasn't. The buns were cold and I got a huge cold raw chunk of what was supposed to be grilled aubergine.

Paid €37 for 2 burgers, 1 fries and 2 cans of soft drinks. It took half an hour for the food to arrive. The sandwiches themselves were cold and the burgers lukewarm. Paid €1.20 for truffle sauce. Sauce was just enough for half the fries. So not recommended.

Het duur ontzettend lang voordat je je eten krijgt terwijl het hartstikke rustig is. Je betaald ongeveer 13 euro voor een burger die echt niet te eten is. Brood is droog burger is veel te klein en de sla is vies.

Heerlijke verse burger. Denk als de meat van de burger gekruid is dat dit een winner is, maar goed all in all is het wel lekker. De sausjes waren ook lekker. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Eten was erg lekker! Vers gebakken. Niet te duur, friet was erg vers zelfde voor de burgers en de sfeer in de Eat Theater is gewoon top! Daarom geef ik dit 5 sterren.
