After a weekend in Slagharen, we ended up here for breakfast. We ate a lot and it was delicious. Friendly service.

The best iced coffee I have ever had, the food is served beautifully, the sandwiches are very well filled, extensive menu, simply everything was top-notch.

Unfortunately, no smoke-free terrace. Smokers puff away one after another. Good service though; they immediately help look for smoke-free spots.

We visited De Koffiepot during a short holiday for their breakfast options. There is a basic breakfast and an extensive version, ensuring a good start to the day. Rolls, coffee or tea, milk, orange juice, and spreads: they have it all. Plenty and tasty, especially the egg salad. We will definitely be back.

We had a truly fantastic, delicious meal. Super friendly service. Great value for money.

I had ordered rusks but the class wasn't there...

It took quite a while before someone came to take our order. Then the coffee sat around for ages before it was brought to us, so it was already cold. This has happened to us twice now. I'll find another café in Hardenberg where I can get a decent cup of coffee.

What a wonderfully fun place this is. Nicely decorated and super tasty food. A more than extensive lunch menu with something for everyone. I will definitely come back here and can certainly recommend going here for lunch.

We had high tea here, and several people joined us, choosing from the menu. They were very flexible in this regard. However, we were disappointed with the high tea; everything was brought at once, instead of in rounds, which meant hot items cooled down and you quickly felt full. While there was plenty of food, it was more quantity than quality. It's also nice to be asked at least once if you wanted your teapot refilled. Instead, we had to go to the bar ourselves, as no one really cared about us.

A cozy place to sit. Very friendly staff. However, the tables are a bit close together, which makes it feel a bit cramped. But hey, sometimes that's just the way it is. We had a wonderful time recovering from a lovely day in Hardenberg.

De Koffiepot is always busy, but honestly, that feels like part of the experience. It's as if everyone has decided simultaneously that they need the classic dishes to survive the day. Sometimes I'm half-waiting, half-praying for a table to open up soon. But as soon as the food is in front of me, I immediately forget why I was so impatient in the first place.

As a single person, I was more in a male-dominated group. Are there more single men than women in general? Oh yeah, that's only the 14th 🤭 The food was fantastic. It should be a pub. Really quick and friendly. Ideal for rounds of beers (just kidding). Verdict: It felt comfortable and everything was perfect. Highly recommended 😉👍

Ordered high tea, but the quality wasn't what I'm used to from the coffee pot. It was frozen stuff, which made the cake base very soggy. I mentioned it, but the response was a bit disappointing. It was our last time. On the positive side, the owner emailed me, and we worked it out together. There will be a second chance for both of us soon. 👌

After sitting on a quiet terrace for 15 minutes, the staff didn't respond at all. Inside, they were chatting happily among themselves, not even looking at the customers. Very strange. We left without having consumed anything. I don't think they even noticed.

Delicious food, fast and friendly service. The menu is extensive, making it hard to choose, which is why we return regularly. And we're never disappointed! We went back after a year, expecting it to be top-notch again, but alas... The hamburger bun was a stripped-down version, and the meat wasn't as good as before. The price/quality ratio is therefore quite out of whack! I had asked for ice and lemon with the cola (because it was a hot day); they had lemon, but they forgot the ice cubes. When I asked for them, I was given a glass filled to the brim with ice, which was slammed in front of me. I thought it was incredibly childish! This might have been our last visit to De Koffiepot. A shame, after all these years of good experiences. Unfortunately, we also heard dissatisfaction from others! That's why I'm taking off a few stars! I donated the excess ice cubes to the plant next to me on the windowsill...

Had breakfast..Unfortunately, a cup of cappuccino has a lot of foam, and the taste has changed since they no longer have Douwe Egberts😪 The luxury breakfast has gone up in price..we paid €38 for two people...pff..I've been coming to De Koffiepot for years, more than 15 years...but this was the last time..Too bad...breakfast is no longer acceptable, and the coffee is terrible for us. Too bad.

Great place! Been there years ago and it was good then. Delicious food. Thought I'd order something small, a pulled pork sandwich. Super tasty, super big, super cheap. I didn't need dinner anymore😅. Delicious ice cream, good ice coffee, friendly staff. And dog friendly

We were here yesterday, May 20, 2025. We had a delicious large toasted sandwich. Now this morning, May 21, 2025, we are back and I had a delicious ham/cheese pancake, my parents artisan bread with 2 croquettes and the 12-o'clock snack. Well served on top and delicious!!! The staff is also very nice and help you at any time. You are also helped quickly and your order is served quickly.

Coffee was tiny, scrambled eggs were quite cold. It was a cool morning but all the doors were open and it was cold in the room. Very nice staff.

We had made a reservation for a high tea, after waiting almost half an hour, 2 smoothies were delivered. You can only order tea in 1 flavor. Everything is put on the table at once. Lots of sweets that fill you up quickly. All in all it was a bit disappointing.

Bouncer and sandwich were delicious, but the coffee, no, don't call it coffee (Peeze) was absolutely not tasty. If the waiter then asks you if you liked it, and you say the above, the waiter will say that it is a matter of taste. She found DE coffee undrinkable. Even if you think so, you still don't tell your guests. This lady is clearly not fit for service. Too bad they won't see us there again.

Meanwhile, a tradition when we go on holiday: have lunch here. Absolutely great, delicious food, good atmosphere and great service. Recommended: 12 o'clock, the Club sandwich and the 2 croquettes with bread. Sometimes you have to be patient when you come in, it is very popular so it is busy.

Ordered the schnitzel with frites. I ate the entire thing, there was nothing left! And the coffee was excellent.

The Koffiepot is definitely recommended for a fun outing. Cozy atmosphere, quick service and friendly staff. And don't forget a delicious menu for breakfast, lunch or snacks.

Had a sushi sandwich. Taste was fine. Rice was very dry and hard on the edges. Chicken pieces in between very nice and tender. Was my 1st sushi sandwich...have nothing to compare it to. But if this is it......, it was my last. Service top!! Atmosphere...because people are crammed a bit too much together...too crowded...it doesn't get any more fun. (It was a holiday...so maybe extra busy at this weekend time)

Tables are close together, but that doesn't bother you. Pleasantly busy, good atmosphere, lots of service that is friendly and works quickly. The food is on the table quickly, the quality is good.

A beautiful and very extensive high tea. Wonderful weather. This allowed us to sit outside on the terrace. We were regularly asked if everything was satisfactory. This was the second time we were here for high tea. There will probably be a third time in the future.

I just ordered two iced coffees with caramel, but unfortunately there was a thick layer of caramel syrup at the bottom, so the first sips hardly tasted like coffee. Reported this and returned the coffees after two sips. As a "lenience" I was only given the option to get two soft drinks, while I had to pay the price for the iced coffee. I think 12 euros for 2 iced teas is ridiculous. I've been coming here for years, but unfortunately this was the last time.

We arrived around 10 to 12.30, we wanted breakfast, because we were helped late, 3 minutes past 12.30, they immediately said, breakfast is until 12.30... very unfortunate. Ultimately ordered another sandwich, which was fine.

The Coffee Pot has absolutely the coziest outside terrace in this shopping center. Sitting there and watching all the different looking people walking by while enjoying an excellent lunch or having just a beer with a portion of bitterballen is pure bliss.

Friendly welcome on a very busy day. We didn't have to wait long for our food and it tasted delicious. We sat at the front by the window and that was a bit on the tight side so that was not very comfortable.

After a caterpillar was found among the lettuce, the rest of the people had lost their appetite, especially the person sitting opposite with a sandwich full of lettuce. At checkout you can pay the full price (apart from the caterpillar sandwich). Despite the fact that it was indicated several times that the appetite of the neighbor across the street had completely lost its appetite, they persisted under the guise of "normally we wash the lettuce well" and "the lady could also choose something else from the menu" (without an appetite you have not much in the way of food either). In short, the dining experience is ruined by pests and pests in the lettuce, which is then insufficiently resolved. The only thing that could have compensated for the service to a three was the service. I will eat here again this winter when the cold has driven away the insects and the like.

A nice place to dine. The staff was very friendly and tried hard. There was also a map in German. The drinks and food were very tasty. Dogs are allowed and given water. We'd love to come back.

We have eaten here a number of times and can say that this is highly recommended. The food is really delicious and you get more than enough for your money. The employees are really friendly and the atmosphere is very pleasant because you are just sitting in a busy shopping street. I would say if you are in the area I would definitely eat there at least once.

Good dishes for vegetarians. That's why I usually think about the coffee pot when I'm in Hardenberg. There is also another restaurant on the other side of the mall, but it is much more expensive.

A nice location, right in the center of Hardenberg. We were here for the locally famous breakfast, which we enjoyed. Definitely recommended for tourists! Furthermore, good, pleasant service, nice atmosphere, highly recommended!

The service was quick and friendly. The three of us had breakfast there. The quantities of sausage, cheese etc. are very inadequate. The eggs were catastrophic and were returned. Six small rolls, two croissants. But only two small portions of butter. Ordered a coffee and got the size of an expresso. Otherwise everything is good 👌

The coffee is excellent. You can also have a great breakfast and lunch there. Today we had a drink there with a monchou pastry. That pastry was in a plastic wrapper. And that is not a success. If you take it off it becomes a mess, if you eat it it also becomes a mess. Tip: make them in a straight glass, then it works better. And then the (men's) toilet. Neat and clean, but in the event of an emergency you are like a rat in a trap...

8 year old daughter surprised with high tea. Reserved in advance. We were welcomed at a nice table with an extra rose for Valentine's Day. A friendly employee spoke to us. When I made the reservation I had reserved for 2 adults, but it turned out that there was also a children's high tea. Even though this had not been reserved, the kitchen was very cooperative and this was still possible, great! 1 of the 2 high-teas was gluten-free, which was also very good. It was enjoyable and fun.
