This is the third time I've been here, and each time the service gets worse. The bill was also overcharged for the third time. Coincidence? I don't think so. In a nearly empty restaurant, you barely get any attention from the staff. There were six of us and we spent a lot each time. You expect at least some service, but the staff doesn't even bother to look at you. You have to wait ages for everything, and when they finally come, the food and drinks are practically thrown on the table. This was definitely our last time. There are plenty of other restaurants with better service and better food. And guys, do something about that smell in your restrooms; it's unbearable in there.

I went with my team for the Vegas festival. I was totally surprise that deep in XXI century, we still treating Men like children, the whole enterteiment was for Them (we only missed the football match at the end of the show! :). I know, this comes from woman, all men in the team agreed... The whole show was clearly to satisfy men (sexually appealing). I love this kind of shows, if we, Women, could also have the chance to visualise some sexy dance men in small, very small underware. And I wonder why we dont include this? Maybe, men cant stand other men dancing sexy? The sad thing is that we, all, have this behaviour so deep in our vains, that the receptionist (after my remarck) offers me a special show for women! No one told me this was a men show? jejejeje ...I laugh but I wonder how will be if to a children birthday party, we have only baby dolls and kitchens to play... would be weird... To The Harbour Club, my call is to get Modern and add some parts to the shows that are inclusive (where men and women are equially entertained). Thanks

The Harbour Club remains a place you go for the experience. The atmosphere is vibrant and luxurious, with chic decor and good music. You immediately feel that this is a "see and be seen" establishment. I started with sushi, including the spicy tuna roll, which was fresh and beautifully balanced. The rice had a good texture and wasn't overpowered by sauce, which I appreciated. For my main course, I had the tenderloin, which was tender and well-cooked, with a rich sauce. The side dishes were simple but appropriate. The service was professional and attentive, although you notice a brisk pace on busy nights. The prices are steep, but you know that beforehand: you're paying as much for the ambiance and ambiance as for the food. Not a place for an intimate dinner, but perfect for a night out with friends or a special occasion.

The service, however, lagged behind the overall experience; extended waits before orders were taken suggest room for improvement. Curiously enough, even the restrooms merit mention. Harbour Club is trying too hard. Every year, the restaurant deteriorates further. Too many pointless house rules. The food is okay, nothing more. Most of the restaurant is unused on Saturday nights. Service is usually terrible and slow. You often don't get the table you want because it's supposedly reserved. If you pay attention, you'll see that ultimately, no one shows up all evening. This isn't based on a single experience, but on several experiences over the past few years. It's understandable that there are so few occupied tables. Ultimately, it's all about putting guests at ease from the start. That's something you're already lacking. Address it if you want to remain successful.

Worst experience ever. I've never left a restaurant, but my first time was at Harbour Club Oost. After 40 minutes, we couldn't even order a drink, and when the waiter arrived, he was immediately offended when we politely told him we'd waited a long time. When he gave us our menus, he asked if we wanted water, which we declined. When we told him it was taking so long to order, he said, "You didn't want a drink, did you?" The most unsociable waiter ever, you wouldn't expect in such a place. It's a shame the manager couldn't do anything for us either.

The receipt was more than we ordered. After Googling this, I see they're known for this; see the video by Samuel Onuha, the YouTuber I found who made a whole video about it. We ordered a lot, and they thought they'd sneakily add a little extra to the receipt because rich people don't look at receipts/prices or anything like that, do they? Unfortunately, after that video, this company has resumed their theft. Also, educate your staff; they're rude and make derogatory remarks. As if they're so special, like servers. Several tables received nasty comments. Beware: not everyone will tolerate this; eventually, you'll hit the wrong person. A friendly tip for you: don't tempt fate too much. I see in the reviews that this happens quite often, and Harbour Club then responds by saying they'll speak to the staff, but nothing changes at all, and they DON'T SPEAK TO ANYONE ABOUT THIS. Because they're just going to keep up this kind of behavior. It's just a bad place. You expect this kind of staff at McDonald's, not at a restaurant with any class. Spend a bit more and replace the current clique (minus one person). Hire professionals and STOP STEALING!!!!!!!!

I go there a few times a year, on special occasions with my family. Last week was a terrible experience. The waiter was awful; he pushed food I didn't want. He didn't listen to what I wanted for an appetizer. The duck tasted like it was rotten or spoiled. When I complained to the waiter, he said you'd eaten it, but half of it had been spit out on your plate. When you're sharing with eight people and the portions are small, it's gone quickly. But he didn't come by while we were eating.

Very nice location with waterfront view little harbour with small boats and yachts. Big terrace, you can choose shade or no shade. Food was excellent but portions on the small size for the price. Terrace was half full on a Saturday and service was still very slow. Took 15 minutes to be seated even with a reservation, waited another 10 minutes for the drink order. Thankfully the food had high quality and tasted amazing but the cocktails are overpriced for the glass size and watered down with lots of ice. I will come back to give them another try as it’s a fabulous location.

I would like to express my displeasure about an unpleasant experience during my visit to The Harbour Club Oost on 19 June 2025, where I came to dine with my family. After paying, we left the restaurant and my 9-year-old son ran outside enthusiastically, accidentally dropping some candy on the floor. To my surprise, he was addressed in an unfriendly and derogatory tone by one of your employees. She ordered him to clean up the candy and added that he would probably not do that at home either. This tone and approach towards a 9-year-old child is, in my opinion, completely inappropriate, especially in a catering establishment that should value hospitality and professionalism. When I addressed her directly about this, she reacted rudely and refused to give her name, saying that this was “none of my business”. Through a family member – who had also had a negative experience with her before – I later found out that her name is Rossana. The fact that this type of behavior is apparently not an isolated incident makes this situation all the more worrying. I would also like to emphasize that cleaning up any food that may have fallen is part of the service that we as guests pay for. My family has been successfully active in the hospitality industry for years, and I therefore know very well what does and does not fall within the standards of hospitality. Addressing children in such a tone and snapping at guests is absolutely not one of them. It is a great shame that a restaurant with the image of The Harbour Club makes itself known in this way. The stories that are circulating in the corridors about the unfriendly staff unfortunately appear to be not unfounded. I trust that you will take this complaint seriously and would like to hear from you what steps are being taken to prevent situations like this in the future.

We had high expectations for our dinner at The Harbor Club, but unfortunately it was quite disappointing. There were clearly far too few staff for the number of guests, resulting in long waiting times, little attention and a chaotic atmosphere. This is really not what you expect from a restaurant with such ambitions. What made it even more annoying is that the agreements made with us in advance - which we had also explicitly relied on - were simply not fulfilled. No explanation, no excuses. It felt like our evening was not taken seriously at all. We were really looking forward to this evening and had been looking forward to it for a long time. That is precisely why it is such a shame that it turned out this way. We hope that this was an exception and that it will not hinder our enthusiasm for a future visit. We therefore hope that The Harbor Club recognizes its responsibility in this and takes this seriously towards future guests - and us.

Ate here on Christmas Day yesterday. What bad service. Upon entering, you first have to wait 20 minutes in a long line in heels to be taken to your table. Our drinks were brought to the wrong table three times, but we arranged it ourselves with the wait staff. A bottle of wine was simply placed on the table with a cork, so we had to pour it ourselves. We had to wait an hour for our food. Half an hour on a dessert that we indicated and it turned out that there was no whipped cream (Christmas Day?) so it could not be delivered, then we got another dessert on the house. Sat at a table that I think was third ring (2nd ring paid) but the table is not on the map. Were looking at a wine cabinet instead of the band. And when I paid, there was also one bottle of pink too much on the bill that I received in return. Have never seen such bad service!!! The band, DJ, food and ambiance made it a great evening!!

I had a wonderful time at this venue during the Vegas show. The atmosphere was fantastic, the food was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would especially like to mention Sandra, who took care of our table. She was extremely kind, attentive, and very helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. Her professional and warm approach truly made our evening special. Highly recommend!

Not recommended. The Harbor Club should seriously consider investing in a hospitality course for staff and have the courage to look themselves in the mirror. You simply have to say 'no' if the occupancy is not sufficient to properly serve a full business. A restaurant full of guests, but not enough staff to provide them with the service they want to pay for, is downright scandalous. We had a reservation at 7:30 PM and left the restaurant at 10:00 PM without having eaten anything. Not because we weren't hungry, but because the kitchen was hopelessly behind on their orders. There were several tables around us where no food had yet been served. The staff that are there are working hard and ultimately become victims of a company that refuses to set boundaries. The staff has to deal with angry guests and people who walk away from their tables because they have been waiting too long. The staff present simply cannot cope with the crowds. As a result, the “service” remains far below par, insofar as some staff members provide service at all. The employee who walked in the area where I was sitting did not apologize for anything, was in a hurry and showed no involvement whatsoever. After being ignored for 45 minutes, I moved elsewhere. That didn't seem to interest him much either. There is one exception who clearly knows what hospitality means, and the rest of the staff can still learn a lot from him. What made it even more distressing was that no one from management came by to explain or apologize as to why it was taking so long. A simple gesture, a little transparency that could have made a big difference. Now everyone was left with frustration, misunderstanding and hunger. The music was so loud that normal conversation was almost impossible while you were waiting there with a growling stomach. Two and a half hours at the table without even a piece of bread or a small gesture from the service/management is unacceptable. The Harbor Club should at least offer their guests, who experienced an evening full of annoyance and loss of time, appropriate compensation. To remove the bad taste from the mouth. This wasn't a night out, this was a fiasco. A very big disappointment and definitely not worth a repeat visit.

Server making disrespectful comments: During the taking of our order and the rest of the evening, the behavior of the server was striking due to an unfriendly and cynical attitude. When we politely inquired about dessert after the main course, we received the response: “You can get desserts at Albert Heijn, we only serve desserts here.” This comment not only came across as unnecessarily sarcastic, but also derogatory, as if our question was stupid or inappropriate. We simply asked for dessert, something that is normal in a restaurant, and it was painful to be turned down like that. Later that evening, when we had finished eating and the table was being cleared, the same server made a second comment that was downright hurtful. While he was taking the plates away, he said a few times: “More money too?” This comment was completely inappropriate. This made us feel small, as if we were not welcome if we did not immediately order something new. This employee's behavior was not only unprofessional, but also disrespectful and hurtful. As a guest in a hospitality establishment, you expect to be treated with friendliness, respect and a minimum of civility — not to be mocked or embarrassed. Such comments stick and can really ruin someone's evening, as happened in our case. I hope that this complaint will be taken seriously and will be discussed with the employee in question. This type of behavior is not consistent with a hospitable environment and will harm the reputation of your restaurant.

Title: A huge disappointment at the Harbor Club Our experience at the Harbor Club for my son's birthday was nothing short of frustrating and disappointing. We were really looking forward to having a special evening together, but that was the opposite of what we got. Upon arrival we quickly heard that the tomahawk steak was gone. Okay, that can happen, but then you expect there to be alternatives. Unfortunately the sirloin steak was also not available! And if that wasn't enough, we were told that the Harbor Club steak was also gone. What a shocking situation! It seems like they are not prepared for crowds or just don't care about their customers. It's really disappointing that you're sitting with a table full of hungry guests and you can hardly choose anything. And then those luxurious dishes with 24 carat gold – that can be nice, but what good is it if the basis is not right? This was definitely not what we were hoping for for a special occasion, and it feels like a huge letdown. I really can't recommend the Harbor Club for a festive outing. A big miss!

I had a great time, the food was great until there were some hard pieces in my king crab, which was not nice, but otherwise we enjoyed the evening. Sandra was also super sweet and I was also asked in the meantime if it had tasted if it went well, etc. it was also a nice atmosphere, plus points for the decoration, including the tables/seating areas.

At one point I had to point out to the waiter that I had ordered a starter and not a dessert, because we had to wait a very long time. Longer than the previous times I was there, anyway! Then there was the female waiter who apparently thought she was educating us. She brought salt and pepper and after she said 'please', we said thank you. She probably had mustard in her ears, because she didn't hear it and then repeated a slightly irritated 'please', so we had to thank her again. Downright childish! The food itself was good, but apparently they don't know the difference between medium and medium well done, so they had to excuse themselves from cooking it a little longer, etc. It is to his credit that the waiter/employee Ivar offered us tea/coffee to compensate for the inconvenience. Nevertheless, I may try another location next time, because this was not the service and quality that I have come to expect from Harbor Club.

Wow! Absolutely delicious. I went out to dinner at Kaap with my mom yesterday, and we had such a great time. The food arrived quickly, the service was excellent, and it wasn't overwhelming. We finished everything and were completely full. The atmosphere is cozy, the interior is beautifully decorated, and we paid a fair price for such delicious food.

Lovely restaurant, rustic decor, fast and efficient service, very good. The appetizer and main course were simply superb! The dessert is also highly recommended; a fantastic restaurant for those who appreciate small but exquisite atmospheres. We would definitely come back :-)
