What an awesome spot to visit!! This restaurant on an upper floor of a retail spot is a nice little surprise spot for great food! There is truly something for everyone!! I had a smoothie, tea, soup, and a dessert, and all were DELICIOUS! One of the coolest things about this place was the vast selection of options from different cuisines, dietary preferences, and more. We all loved our food! My sister got a beef lo mein meal and it was phenomenal! We both loved our desserts, as well!! We were a bit put off by the cashier, as he was pretty rude and rolled his eyes at my mom when she asked for tap water, but the other workers and chefs at the counters were all very friendly and welcoming! The space is pretty simple and nothing too fancy, but it has the vibe of an upper-scale food court, which works pretty well in the restaurant. We really enjoyed the meal, and if we are ever back in Amsterdam, we will likely return!

We had lunch here today, a self-service restaurant. We had a Caesar salad, a croquette sandwich, and two smoothies with juice, apple, and basil. The food was tasty and fresh, but a bit pricey for what you get. The Caesar salad, in particular, was quite small. What was really disappointing was the hygiene. It was simply disgusting. The benches were covered in dried, brown drops and sticky stains, the tables were dirty, and there were thick layers of dust on the window frames. It felt incredibly unhygienic and unkempt, and it really detracted from the lunch experience. This is definitely a major problem, even for a self-service restaurant. Fortunately, the service was positive. A staff member—a dark-skinned, young, and tall man—removed our tray and was exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and attentive. Despite it being a self-service restaurant, his assistance felt personal and service-oriented, something you don't often see in these types of restaurants. All in all, the food was delicious. but the extreme dirtiness of the furniture and tables seriously lowers the level of the restaurant.

Went here for lunch at noon. The selection was practically nonexistent. There were only a few sausage rolls and one or two cinnamon rolls. Pretty odd for such a large restaurant.

A good place to eat for lunch, steak (≈24€) or salmon (≈20€) and a side dish are prepared especially for you. Lasagne (≈17€). The establishment prepares restaurant food, but it is a self-service area. It is located on the 5th floor of the shopping center

Delicious cheese sandwich and pesto pizza..only it was quite busy.and the fries were overcooked.but all in all good value for money

This is an excellent restaurant. The wok dishes were prepared before our eyes and tasted excellent. I will definitely come back here again. 👩🏻‍🍳

Good selection of food in the food corner and a nice bar attached - definitely sit on the terrace! On a longer shopping trip to the beehive, this is just the right thing to recharge your batteries.

We stopped there for a quick coffee and I looked at the food. It was all beautifully presented and looked really fresh and appetizing. Price wise it seemed ok to me. When we visited, everything was clean and we found the ambience to be quite good for a department store restaurant.

Great place for a bite. Clean and well laid out with plenty of choices. Food cooked freshly in front of you. A little bit expensive but given its nowhere near the price of some fancy Department stores restaurants in Europe worth the money to eat jn the Amsterdam Harrods equivalent.

Excellent food in the Beijenkorf restaurant. Tasty hamburger that is grilled when you place the order. Enjoy a nice glass of wine and delicious fries.

Food is great. But why stop making pizza and replace that by « pinsa » wich is half the size of the pizza and still the same price!!! 13e for half a « pinza ». Call it, half Pinza, whole price.

Good sandwich! We liked the ribeye a lot. Very thick cut bread. The Dutch pea soup was filling, but is supposed to be thicker. The service is non-existing. You literally pick up your own food and go to check-out. It's fine though, because you come here for a quick bite. The restaurant is clean with toilets on the same floor.

Such a decent, decently priced and relatively cozy cafe for a large department store! We both had the open-faced steak sandwich with pickled onions and ruccola... Quite Dutch in taste and also delicious. A soft boiled egg on top made this a real winner. The chocolate cake was fluffy and soft, with a hint of jam... And not too filling. Nice escape from the busyness of the city....the Restaurant is located on the top floor next to the Christians decorations. Nice views too!

Bonne adresse dans le centre pour manger à peu prêt sain et équilibré et à un prix correct. L'accueil et le service sont merdiques, les sourires et la gentillesse n'existent pas au niveau des caisses, pourtant on donne notre pognon, ils devraient être contents. Bref, c'est dommage, le sauté de boeuf aux légumes et curry jaune était très bon. Le dessert pas trop mal. Ressenti mitigé pour ces galeries Lafayette d'Amsterdam, c'est dommage, ce n'est pourtant pas compliqué d'être aimable avec les clients, non? Que fait la direction?

Food was very bland in taste. I had the salmon lasagne and I was not seasoned well. You could tell that this was just mass produced food without any love.

Always good food, good choice, but please put someome to organise the table areas ! On a saturday let people who don't eat OR who didn't pick food yet sit at table to reserve it for themself is so asocial ! The aerea is nice but really too small, too many time i almost drope my whole food because people let kids run away or they just stop out of nowhere when not walking in midle of all the area with no sens. Ive been there several time, and i think today was the last one, just someone on table area would help ! People who seat for 1hrs for a coffeee can go to the bar area, and let the dinner and lunch free for people who eat..

I came for breakfast this morning, and wanted to try the chicken soup, but it wasn't ready. I waited a bit, but then I decided to have a glass of juice and a tiramizu. While eating my breakfast, a very friendly chef came to my table with a bowl of chicken soup! What a pleasant surprise for me! Thank you chef, thank you the kicthen💞. Will always come here when visiting Amsterdam

Geen zin in Damrak-patat? Ga dan naar de 5de verdieping van de Bijenkorf. Een grote variatie gerechten, snelle service en een dakterras waar je bij lekker weer heerlijk kan zitten.

Es wird hier frisch zubereitet und man kann zuschauen. Sehr viele leckere, gesunde Gerichte, auch die Menge ist gut. Schöne Aussicht von der Dachterrasse aus.

A very large food venue on the top floor of De Bijenkorf. I highly recommend stopping here for a beak and grab something, go on the roof terrace and relax. More open than what you will find anywhere else in the area. Reminds me of a museum food cafeteria, but those can be nice as well. I enjoy visiting here.

The price quality ratio is great! And the staff even better. They let you try and go an extra mile to let you have a nice experience. Very very pleasant!

Food tastes amazing. My bestie and I ordered wok from their wok stall. It was exquisitely good but sooo spicy. So be careful.

Endroit sympa est agréable surtout la terrasse sauf la nourriture qui est bas de gamme et cela est dommage car le concept est vraiment bien. Le messieurs qui fesait les pizzas à refuser de prendre notre commande et de nous servir je trouve ca incorrect. Les personnes qui y travaillent ne sont pas très sympathique, ils ne répondent pas aux questions, le manque d'informations sur les plats ou produits, cela est vraiment à revoir! Ce n'est pas la première fois qu'on vient mais cette fois-ci on est vraiment déçu !
