I absolutely love this place. It gives street cafe/restaurant vibes in the charming neighbourhood in Amsterdam Centrum-Oost. Went here for lunch and was greeted by the loveliest staff! We opted for the Ventricina and Special (Mortadella and Pistachio). Both were so delicious. They also have outdoor seats which are perfect for warmer weather. I'd say this would be my top pizza place in Amsterdam!

Was not let down by others reviews of this place at all.. Finally found a great pizza place near Oosterpark! Pizzas were so tasty and the crust was really good. There is sauce you can order to dip your pizza crust but we didn’t need it at all. My husband and I both ended up eating the whole thing. I still can taste the Nduja pizza with dried chilies on it… I think I will never forget this pizza. It was today’s special pizza something like that… I wish they put this pizza on the menu. We loved also so much about entries. And the dessert... it was best panna cotta and the almond paste pie was banging! the staff was also friendly kind. Best pizza around the hood, definitely will come back.

Soooooo gooood pizzzaaaaa! I got the special of the month with mortadella. SICK And the stuff is sooo kind and helpful!

We ordered takeaway 4 hours in advance but still had to wait another hour upon arrival. Our evening plans were ruined, and the staff was rude with no apology or explanation. The pizza is great, but the service was disappointing, especially regarding the 20€ per pizza price. Sadly, this was our last visit—plenty of other places in Amsterdam serve great pizza with better customer care.

Excellent in every way and good beer

A must visit in Amsterdam. Each month the owner makes a special pizza and they are all amazing, traditional and top of the top. If you are in Amsterdam and love pizza.. this is a must go.

Five of us were there spontaneously yesterday. We hadn't made a reservation and the waiters were kind enough to let us get a table anyway, even though the tiny shop was packed. They were super helpful and very friendly. The pizza was delicious, the wine tasted good too. It was a great evening. I haven't eaten such delicious pizza in a long time. The dough was very thin with a thick edge. I will remember the Italian well.

Really disappointed unfortunately. Ordered take away online, waiting time stated 15min and it took almost 40min. No sorry, no enjoy your pizza. Also one pizza was undercooked and does not at all stand a chance against Eatmosfera in Oost. Their pizza is much better, sorry guys maybe you had a busy day but that is not good enough.

Pizza is very good, staff is friendly, pizza was fast. Tiramisu was a disgrace to Italian culture. €8 for two bites that I am not sure you can call tiramisu. I would still like to stress that the pizza is good.

The welcome is exceptional, the restaurant is small and has few seats but they made sure that we could come in with our stroller, which is very much appreciated! The pizzas are very very good, we enjoyed ourselves! Thanks to them!

Reserved here at 7:00 PM. A bit pushy service, very tasty food, poor service. After an hour and fifteen minutes, we had just finished dessert, we were presented with the bill. We still wanted coffee and something to drink. We just received that, but we were asked to leave. They wanted to receive other guests. Nothing was said about it beforehand. I would only get take-out from here, not eat in again

I had read a review that said it was the best pizza in town. Well, I tried. Already impossible to find a table, the 10 places are all taken. I ordered a four cheese pizza to take away.... And what a disappointment! The dough is too thick, stuffy and elastic. You have to chew a lot, a lot, a lot. I had never experienced it to this extent. Feeling like a cow chewing the cud. The four cheese pizza is made with fresh cream. Which adds to the boring side. The cheeses were all very poorly chosen and not complementary. Really identify them??? There are two for sure, but the other two??? The smoked provola reinforces the filling side even more. It might be ok as raclette cheese but not on a pizza. Ricotta also has no place on four cheeses. When cooked, the texture of the ricota becomes ultra weird, but doesn't add anything in terms of taste. I'm still looking for the taste of the gorgonzola and Taleggio which are also supposed to be there. And there's supposed to be truffle honey on the pizza. And that’s a scam!!! As a Périgord, I am shocked that someone dares to call it a truffle taste. It doesn't even taste like honey or even have the texture of honey. In the end, a gloubiboulga of heavy cheese preparation on uncooked bread dough. It's anything but Italian pizza.

My favourite pizza north of Italy! The staff are always so cheerful and attentive in this cozy establishment. The pizza of the month is usually a winner and if not, there are great regular options. And then it's time for dessert! I can't wait for my next visit

The food was exceptional and the service was very sweet. We ordered a tuna pizza and a pepperoni pizza and both were amazing. The tuna one was the best pizza I’ve had outside of Italy and also better than most of the ones I’ve had in ! My husband and I split a pannacotta for dessert and it was so creamy and delicious. The place is tiny but we visited in the afternoon so there was no rush.

Beautiful food and beautiful people. A lovely place to eat. You MUST have the dipping sauce - no idea how they make it taste so good. We went back to get takeaway dessert as we couldn’t manage it the first time.

Easily the best pizza in Amsterdam! They use top-quality ingredients, and you can really taste the difference. The staff are all Italian—super friendly and quick with service. They also have some unusual and interesting pizza options you won’t find elsewhere. It’s a bit pricier than other places, but totally worth it for the quality. Highly recommend!

Very good pizza, all prepared with Italian products. Pleasant nice people. It's a shame that it is so small, it's not really possible to eat undisturbed. Collectors hang over your table with their backpacks. But the quality of the food makes me go there every month.

This place is absolutely amazing! If you love pizza it is a must stop! I recommend the Diavola and can't say enough good things about the food, staff and environment here. Truly a gem even in a city full of amazing spots! This is my favorite pizza and I always look forward to stopping by (daily) when I am in town. :)

First of all, the food was quite good, although the tiramisu was very runny and unspectacular. The cocktail I ordered had too much syrup for my taste. However, what was impossible was the service. At the beginning everyone was very friendly, but as our pizza neared the end it became hectic. We received the bill without having ordered it and when it was paid we were handed our jackets straight away. The thing was, I was still busy with my sweet cocktail, which I didn't want to leave half full. We weren't even there for an hour in total with a given time window of 1.5 hours and in the end we were basically thrown out. A reason for us not to go there again, even if the pizzas were delicious.

One of the better pizzerias in the area, perhaps even in Amsterdam. Nice staff. A fun and satisfying evening guaranteed. I've been here a few times now and will definitely come back. Thank you.

We have eaten here about 5 times in the last year, always with our baby. We have been always so happy about the quality food (amaaazing pizza dough and ingredients) and about the way we have been treated, always helping with our baby and making us feeling super confortable even when is not always easy to have lunch with babies around. I believe they have an amazing team and select very well the people working there, super professional!!!!, I would definitely recommend it also as one of the best pizza places in Ams. P.S: house red wine tastes delicious and panacotta is yummy!

Every time that I’m coming in Amsterdam to visit a friend I need to visit At least once this Neapolitan Pizzeria. Last time I tried the cicoli e patate and I fallow in love for it. The service and the food are always impeccable. For me is always a pleasure meet the owners, Fabio and Susi. If you visit Amsterdam you must go there.

Had the most delicious meal here last night. The burrato starter with squash, mushrooms and deep fried sage was the most delicious dish that I have eaten in a long time. The service was attentive and the staff were all dedicated and proud of the food that they had on offer. So delicious.

The food was okay, I took an entre that had a delicious sauce with their fresh and soft bread. But when I got my pizza it was plain and unfofilling. The service started of nicely but as I was trying to have a conversation with my friend. The waitresses kept enturopting our conversation every moment to know if we needed anything or if they could take our dishes away even if we had food on it and we were just slow eaters. The place was small, nothing that can be fix there. So definitely make reservations if interested in stopping by there.

Oh my days! I have eaten many pizza's in my life, but this special of the month pizza Norma is the absolute best pizza i have ever eaten. Crust perfect and ingredients so tasty. Also service 100 points. We came in late on a friday evening, super busy but they were still able to get us a table outside. Super service and so friendly and kind. I would recommend this place. Its small, so better to make a reservation.

The Pizza Vagabond is a gem in Amsterdam! The pizzas are amazing, and the warm, homey atmosphere makes you feel like you're part of the family. You can taste the love and tradition in every bite. Highly recommend for anyone craving a true slice of Naples!

Service was great. Pizza was underwhelming with the flavors; which lacked across 4 of our 5 pizzas. We may have got an off night but slightly disappointed with such a high rating.

Really liked the pizza. Estimated time to fulfil order was a bit off but it was worth the wait.

We are regularly coming, from the early beginnings, to Vagabond for superb pizzas with great “cucina domestica” atmosphere. But this time even though the pizzas were as always great, service was not only disappointing, but also aggressive. In the past, within compulsory 1,5 hour we had enough time for whole “slow food” Italian way dinner without feeling any pressure. But, this time, we have ordered Negroni and some olives as a aperitiivo. Nice start of cosy dinner, but just after 5 minutes; without first sip of Negroni, we got the pizzas presented on the table. Ok, never mind, we gonna take some time to start, but the waiter was pushy to finish the pizzas as soon as possible, because next guests are waiting!!! And we were just half hour away in our ONE & HALF time slot. Ok, we tried to enjoy the pizzas, but the waiter was still pushing us to finish it as soon as possible, and if we need some more time to finish our drinks ~ we can move to another table (still within first 45 minutes of our time slot). Even though, the pain doesn’t stop, the waiter was consistently arrogantly walking around us. Dolce or digestivo? Don’t even think about asking for it. The only appearance of the waiter was ~ Just pay and go as soon as possible, because I can put some new customers on this table. We were really disappointed this time. Vagabond is a great pizza restaurant in our neighborhood, where we are coming every time with pleasure for great atmosphere and superb food; but with such terrible service aimed only for more customers in less time, it will be ruined. Hopefully, next time better.

Great pizza place!! We were about 10 minutes early for our reservation but got seated right away anyway. The staff was amazing, welcomed us with explaining a bit about their restaurant, their dishes and their ingredients. The food was quickly done cooking and absolutely delicious!!! We got pistachio Panna cotta for dessert and you could tell the pistachio sauce was homemade. The staff checked in with us regularly and the prices were very reasonable, especially for a big city like Amsterdam and for food this good! Will definitely come back next time I’m in Amsterdam :)
