The Sportcafé Meerkamp in Keizer Karelpark

This morning I had "Christmas coffee" with about 35 fellow athletes, and we were given delicious Christmas bread by the café owner, Edgar. Fantastic! What great service.

Great place to eat and not expensive. Since Naomi started working there, I've been eating there twice a week. Sometimes just for ice cream, but we usually have dinner there for the four kids. Naomi, you can stay. We love you.

I go there almost every week with my son. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They do their best to keep us happy. We are treated with respect.

Super fun and especially friendly people who work hard! I've been coming here for coffee or fries with the kids after swimming lessons for years. The people who complain about being yelled at probably deserve it. These people wouldn't hurt a fly! Keep up the good work! 💪🏼

I rarely leave reviews, but my experience at the Meerkamp Sport Café was so bad I feel obligated to warn others. The service was atrocious from the moment I walked in. The staff seemed annoyed to even be there, and the atmosphere was unwelcoming and chaotic. What truly pushed this into "never again" territory was being yelled at by a woman working there who had a low taper fade haircut. I don’t know what her issue was, but her aggressive and completely unprovoked outburst was shocking and deeply unprofessional. I was left feeling humiliated and completely disrespected. If you’re looking for a place to relax after a swim or workout, this is NOT it. Terrible service, hostile staff, and zero accountability. Avoid this place at all costs. Let me know if you'd like to adjust the tone (e.g., more formal, more sarcastic, etc.).

The lady in charge made a mistake with our orders, which resulted in us getting extra fries. She started yelling at us and cursing at us. She thought it was our fault, not the staff's. Extremely rude! She told me to irritate my mother and that I should never order anything there again. Extremely arrogant and not customer-friendly. I'll never come back. Unfriendly employees are sent away because we had not bought anything for 1 day, our friends did, we always get something and it is super dirty

It's nice that there is a sports canteen where there is normal food and not just unhealthy snacks. The salads are super tasty, and also cheap.

Super friendly people!! Everything is delicious and now they also have gluten-free mayo and iced coffee!! I'm getting happier and happier!! A big 10!!!

Today the entire gym club was present at the traditional 'Christmas coffee'. Almost all participants were there and Edgar treated them to Christmas bread! He received a beautiful Christmas piece from us because he is always so nice and makes very tasty coffee. Very welcome after an hour of exercise.

Always a pleasant welcome. The owner is cheerfully waiting for us every week. The spicy chicken sandwich and panini are freshly made in our own kitchen and for a nice price. Definitely recommended!!!

I have been going to all-around camp for 10 years, my first son swam there and today my daughter swam for her A diploma. When my children have finished their lessons we go to the café for an ice cream. Today went wrong with a gentleman who works behind the cafe. he was super nice when we went to buy 2 tornado ice cream that cost 4 euros each + 2 coffees for me and my wife. My son got thirsty and went to ask for a glass of water from the same man who sold us the water, but at that point the man informed my son that he only wanted to sell and not do charity. My son came back to me with tears in his eyes and I kindly asked the gentleman to give me a glass of water. He told me why and I said my son was thirsty. I felt the gentleman was visibly upset and nervous and he asked me what I would do if he didn't give me the glass of water. I explained again that my son had been waiting in line for 10 minutes and when he asked for a glass of water I didn't think it was fair how the gentleman responded. The gentleman so violently gave me the glass of water and told me to leave quickly in an aggressive manner. I said thank you and left. I thought it was absurd. That's not how you talk to children. I grew up in Brazil and also have a strong temper, but I believe that we adults are the example for children. I'll never buy anything there again.

Did karate training, didn't eat or be served so I can't say anything about that. I was in the sports hall, which looks good and the floor is great for training, even barefoot. Parking, therefore not 5 stars, always takes some time to find a spot. Those who can: coming on a bicycle/moped/motorcycle is a better idea.

Looks like a nice place to grab something to eat after school. The fries are okay and that's it. The most depressing atmosphere possible and the chicken burger is unbelievable. The staff is a bit rude by the way.

Almost cold food, lots of salt on fries and half trays of fries and dirty tables.

Bad service and I got half a cup of fries and then she got one of the staff That it was a normal bowl and we had a cold croquette sandwich and the tables were dirty.

Around dinner time we get "half" cups of fries. One says it has been busy, so we give a little less and the other says these are normal portions. And then you see a full house come by at the next one.

Enjoy a drink after an intensive badminton match.

Very friendly staff even when it is busy. There is plenty of choice.
