Thús Cafe in Binnenstad

Get ready for a hysterical review: I don't have much of an opinion of museum restaurants, so when I ordered a glass of Chardonnay and fries, I honestly didn't care. But then: The fries arrived, and they turned out to be homemade and freshly cut from a delicious potato with the skin on; crispy and flavorful on the outside, with a crunch of salt, and a cloudy purée on the inside. Truly perfect fries. The accompanying wine was also delicious. I'll be back to this museum just for the fries.

We dined here with a lunch and drinks package using a voucher. The food was surprisingly good – the lunch was delicious, and the drinks platter with the high wine was generous, varied, and very tasty. You can tell they put a lot of care into it. The service deserves a compliment: incredibly friendly, thoughtful, and genuinely welcoming. One thing to keep in mind: the clientele is predominantly older, which makes the atmosphere a bit more relaxed than you might expect for a wine get-together. Nevertheless, it was definitely a pleasant experience.

You can tell that attention is paid to it. The service really deserves a compliment: incredibly friendly, thoughtful and genuine hospitality. Something to keep in mind: the audience is predominantly somewhat older, which makes the atmosphere somewhat quieter than you might expect at a wine moment. Nevertheless, certainly a nice experience

Always fun and delicious with Kim and Johan

We had a voucher for drinks and a snack platter. We had trouble finding the place. Once we found it, there were a lot of older people staring at us from head to toe, and there was a strangely quiet atmosphere. Not a place to spend a "pleasant" holiday. We didn't feel like spending time there and sat outside, despite it being a windy corner. Neither inside nor outside, the staff noticed us, so I asked someone to help us. It turned out they were friendly and helpful. Quite a young team that afternoon. The snack platter was very tasty, but unfortunately, it couldn't withstand the wind on that corner. The chips were in a cone, and that cone was in a glass jar, which rattled around in the wind 😱. After a while, this was cleared away after we pointed it out. No new portion was brought.

It was very busy because of a promotion of the friends lottery. Friendly service, although in English. Lunch was fine except for the soup that was too spicy. Nice address to come back to. Wheelchair accessible.

Pure food...always tasty. I think this is one of my favorite places to eat in Leeuwarden.

Delicious coffee with orange cake, but sad to see that the staff is stressed due to understaffing. Prices are also very high.

Nice lunch. Had sugar bread with goat cheese, honey, salad and onion jam, this is a surprising but delicious combination. The restaurant has a modern but cozy interior and is in a beautiful location on the sowing land.

Excellent mint tea, special cake, quiet atmosphere, friendly and good service. Very expensive, mint tea is € 4.90, as are lunch prices.

Wegens vakantie weinig personeel en een kleine kaart. Verder was het eten goed.

Het is al vaker gezegd en over geklaagd: de bediening is erg traag. Een espresso maken is niet meer dan een kopje onder het tuitje plaatsen en op een kop drukken. Dat weten de dames op te rekken tot 20 minuten. Voor die snelheid mag je dan €3 betalen. Het is een wonder dat er nog mensen blijven komen: Nederlanders zijn veel te meegaand

Mooie locatie bij het museum waar je heerlijk kan lunchen zonder dat je het museum hoeft te bezoeken. Ze gebruiken veel streekproducten bij hun gerechten die je bij andere lunchroom/restaurants niet zal zien. Het is erg sfeervol ingericht en het personeel is erg vriendelijk.

Nette zaak. Fijn zaakje om even te lunchen. Mooi terras.

Super service en heerlijk eten.

Je ergens thuis voelen is een mooi iets, vooral als je ergens voor het eerst komt. Cafe Thus gaf me precies dat gevoel. Maar buiten dat, schonken ze er zalige koffie en zat er zelfs een kleine bonus brownie bij. De ambiance was ruimtelijk sfeervol en vriendelijk. Het is zo n plek waar ik tijdens het winkelen even rustig iets kan drinken en eten. De menu kaart heeft keuze genoeg. Ideale horeca gelegenheid om met vrienden of familie af te spreken.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel. We kregen ons eten snel. Erg lekker gegeten ook. Geen minpunten.

Echt wel een goed soepje gegeten hier. Broodjes waren ook heel lekker. De menu kaart doet niet echt recht aan wat je dan uiteindelijk krijgt maar dit kwam misschien omdat het een aangepaste corona menu kaart was. Alles wordt vers gemaakt en van lokale producten. Erg goed.

Prachtige plek,goede bediening en heerlijke koffie!

Proberen het al 3 jaar hier, maar de service blijft abominabel. Traag, ongeïnteresseerd en onvriendelijk. Even gewoon een kopje koffie of thee aan tafel te brengen, schijnt binnen een half uur niet te lukken. Ondanks praktisch léég café. Ik geef het op, ga liever 10 minuten verderop, dan hier nog één poging te wagen.

Het eten/drinken was goed maar wat duurde het belachelijk lang. Ze konden duidelijk de drukte niet aan als alle tafels bezet zijn. Verder leuke entourage.
