We went in 5 minutes after their opening and tried their "tuna melt" toast. It was very delicious, although a bit pricey for the portion I would say. The servers were very kind and the service was fast.

We had breakfast here and it was lovely. The staff were so friendly and it was very close to the station so a great location as well! We had the ham and cheese croissant and ‘The Legend’ triple toastie which was fab. Would definitely recommend!

The food is really good. I had a crosti ham & cheese and it was delicious, as well as the iced latte. The establishment is lovely and the people who work there make your meal even more enjoyable. Danni treated us very kindly and helped us both times we ate there. Aside from Danni, the entire staff is very friendly.💗🇦🇷

This place is genuinely my favourite place I have been, and that is saying something. The toasties are absolutely mouth watering, the service is phenomenal, and the atmosphere is amazing. Will definitely be coming back here for a third, fourth, fifth, hundredth time!

An absolute recommendation, both for breakfast and during the day. The staff is young and highly motivated, making you feel right at home. The combination of banana, bacon, cheese, and honey is a must-try! Unfortunately, there aren't many tables, so you'll need a bit of luck, but the short wait is definitely worth it!

I ordered a croissant with eggs and replaced the ham with tomatoes and cheddar cheese and it tasted good. I ordered an Americano and it was excellent. They give you a small waffle with it, and when you pay the bill, they give you a piece of candy. 🙏 Most importantly, they welcome the customers. Thank you very much.

The coffee is bad, the sandwich has a lot of bread and the chicken is industrial. The atmosphere is small and the service good, the waiter was very friendly and helpful, if you have high expectations you will be disappointed.

Cute spot for breakfast here in bustling Amsterdam. The staff was friendly and happy to give some recommendations. The Crosti was nicely done, just what we needed. Fresh juices too, another big plus. Price wise it was a bit high for what you get, but then again I'm living abroad so just keep that in mind.

We really enjoyed early breakfast in Toastable. They got very good selection of toasts and drinks. We got Caprese toast and coconut yoghurt with berries. The price is very good in terms of being centric place in Amsterdam as well as very small but lovely place to sit and dine in with family. The service quick and the personnel very kind and generous. Definitely a must-go place for breakfast or brunch.

Cozy wee cafe just a short walk from Centraal. The staff are very friendly, attentive and welcoming, which made the experience much more enjoyable. The toasties are epic - absolutely packed with fresh and quality ingredients. They also do great coffee and desserts/cakes. I would highly recommend the banana bread!

We were looking for a breakfast spot, and this place seemed to have great options. Our toasts and croissants were fresh and delicious. Unfortunately, the coffee machine was not working when we visited, but that gave us a chance to try their juices, they were nice and refreshing. Very friendly staff!

I had a nice surprise. Toasts are very flavorful. I especially enjoyed the Kimchi one and the Fajita.

The food was delicious, everything arrived quickly and the ingredients were fresh, however when paying we were charged the tip without asking and we realized it because we had to ask for the receipt. (Of course, I have no problem with tipping but you should always ask if the client wants to include it or not)

A small sandwich restaurant; narrow and a limited number of tables. The staff speaks English and is friendly. The iced coffee ordered is fine. The sandwiches themselves could have been left in the sandwich maker a little longer: I prefer the bread to be crispier. I had a vegetarian spicy sandwich myself. The toppings were very tasty but could have been spicier. The toilets (in the basement) are spacious and clean.

Review of second visit in January 2025: Quite friendly staff, but something went wrong with the service. For example, we were not asked which bread we wanted for the sandwiches, but fortunately this was resolved later when we spoke to the manager about this. The drinks only came after the sandwiches, so we sat inside for almost 30 minutes without drinking. There were no napkins with the sandwiches and they were not on the table. The staff was too busy to ask for this. The place was completely full, but we were lucky and got a seat almost immediately. This time we sat upstairs next to the kitchen/bar. (This table for 4 was not there at first, but was added in the small room because they apparently wanted extra seating. Even downstairs in the basement next to the toilet, a table for 6 has been placed. That is a really unattractive place to have lunch 😱 ) The small business is also for takeaway, so the waiting customers hung around us and practically sat on our laps. That's unpleasant and you feel rushed. The staff also had difficulty moving through the enormous group of waiting customers. The new extra table upstairs is actually not feasible! Prices have risen considerably in a year. Last year I paid about 9.95 for the Legend and this year it was 12.25. Unfortunately, the cheddar cheese on the Kimchi sandwich was not melted properly. Furthermore, the quality was just as good as last time. Review from early 2024: Nice little place with delicious sandwiches and smoothies or (hot) drinks such as mint tea. Excellent prices for the richly filled toasties. Nice staff. Conclusion: The first time I was here I was a lot more enthusiastic than the second time. I don't think I'll be coming back here anytime soon. Shame!
