Tagliatelle with truffle sauce; the taste was excellent, but… the pasta was stuck together into thick, mealy strands. I forgot to stir for the first two minutes (a beginner's mistake that even I don't make anymore). As a result, the sauce didn't mix with the undercooked pasta, and what could have been very tasty was now a struggle to get down. I reported the mistake to the wait staff; yes, they understood, and he said he would pass it on to the kitchen. The other waiter, the one I paid, asked again if I had enjoyed it. Well, actually not, I said; yes, he had heard that, he said, but didn't elaborate further (personally, I think I would offer a free cup of coffee or something). So no, we won't be doing that again.

What an amazing restaurant! We had a good impression right from the moment we walked in. A nice, relaxed atmosphere and the staff is super friendly. We opted for the chef's menu as a surprise! A great choice; all courses were exquisite. And believe me, we are very experienced when it comes to food by now. We highly recommend the restaurant. We will definitely be back!

Unfortunately, the pizza was disappointing. It wasn't burnt, but it did have a strange, almost burnt taste. As a result, the pizza wasn't really tasty. Maybe I was just unlucky and this was a one-off mistake, but based on this experience, I unfortunately cannot recommend this place.

Worst pizza I have ever eaten for a hefty 22 euros.

I came across it online and it looked good. Unfortunately, it was quite a letdown for us. The service was very polite and friendly, but it took a while before we were served. The food disappointed us; the tomato on the bruschettas was tasty, but the bread was more like toast, giving me the feeling that I was eating a cookie crust. I had expected more from the focaccia; it consisted of simply cut slices that looked more like Turkish bread, with a little salt. The truffle mayonnaise dip was very tasty, though, which made me really look forward to the truffle pasta I had chosen. Unfortunately, I found the taste really bland. I asked beforehand what kind of pasta it was; the waiter said it would be Tagliatelle, but it wasn't. It was a bit thicker, and because it hadn't been cooked well enough, that texture didn't sit well with the food. But that might just be my personal opinion regarding the pasta itself. The truffle sauce with the pasta lacked flavor, and I missed the Parmesan cheese, which was listed on the menu. I was hoping that a waiter would come by to ask if it tasted good, but unfortunately that didn't happen; otherwise, I would have asked for salt and pepper and Parmesan cheese. In the end, I didn't finish everything because I didn't enjoy it anymore. The pizza my friend had was pretty okay, but many pieces of crust were burnt and really black, so we didn't like that as much. The terrace is also located on a road with a lot of car noise, which we found a shame, but we could have checked this beforehand. Overall, the atmosphere was fine and the service friendly, and we were well received, but the food we chose was, in summary, disappointing. I wouldn't rule out giving it another chance.

It started promisingly; the digital reservation was kindly confirmed. The day of the visit was a pleasant memory, but upon arrival, they knew nothing about it and we were left to choose for ourselves. We opted for the upstairs area, where there were two free tables, one of which was by the restroom. The other table in the corner was set with three place settings, and that is where we sat down. There was no assistance. Much later, a staff member came to tell us that this was a table for three and that we could not sit there. The terrace was hot and noisy, and we found the ground floor restless. They paid no attention to this. We arrived by train from the east—we are in our eighties—and then went back by train without a nice Italian dinner. We cannot judge the food, but hospitality is nowhere to be found. A pity.

We thought we were going out for a nice dinner. The service was extremely poor; the staff basically ignored everyone and forgot about us twice. After waiting for an hour, we finally received our starter, but the main course didn't arrive until another hour later. Then we suddenly thought we were being served quickly because we were supposed to get the dessert menu. But no, they had forgotten about us. We waited another half hour and decided to get our dessert somewhere else. What should have been a nice evening turned into an extremely disappointing one.

They have the worst menu i have ever seen. For a person that doesn’t understand good dutch and Italian and doesn’t know how dishes look like its very hard to understand and they give one menu card per table. On the menu it said that my dish is served with “aardappel” which is potato but i got served fries which is not what i wanted but i enjoyed the beef. They also dont have much to choose from if you’re a meat lover. Moscow Mule doesn’t taste authentic at all and ginger was way too overpowering i also didn’t like that it had chilli in it. Not the best first impression but the beef, pizza and tiramisu was good. Ps: 16€ for simple mozzarella pizza is a scam…

Apparently there were staffing problems, i.e., a long wait for the first drink, a long wait for the second drink, a long wait..... The dishes were really delicious, hats off to the chef! But yes, the service. Also very noisy. I would say, recommended if it is quiet there...... And if something has been done about the service!

What a big surprise! The Ossobucco is highly recommended! We regularly visit various restaurants, but we were truly pleasantly surprised. The service was superb and the atmosphere was Instagram-worthy. A reason to come back again.

Had a delicious meal and good, fast service.

Tonight we had a "pleasant" dinner at Cosi. We've been here many times in the past and were always satisfied. Unfortunately, tonight was a different story. Upon arrival, we had to wait a very long time before ordering our main courses. We understand it can be busy, but honestly, we felt a bit forgotten. The waiter walked past our table several times and seemed mainly occupied with setting new tables. Finally, I asked if we could order. The atmosphere from the waiter felt distant and unenthusiastic, which is a shame when you're out for the evening. After dinner, my husband asked for a container to take home the leftover pizza. He was looked at as if it was a very strange request. Paying €0.50 for the container isn't a problem in itself, but the way it was handled felt unwelcoming. All in all, a disappointing experience, especially since we've had some lovely evenings here before. We won't be returning anytime soon.

I've dined there twice recently, and both times it exceeded my expectations. The service was good and fast, the price was reasonable, and the food was delicious. Highly recommended!

It's a shame that yesterday, after waiting almost an hour, we had to eat our pizzas in just fifteen minutes. We did receive an apology, but also a full bill.

For the prices you pay there and the pizzas you get, I think it's really overpriced. I got two pizzas and something else, and they were just awfully soft and burnt. You can really taste and smell it. I'm very disappointed because I paid €50 for it. I wouldn't recommend this!

We really enjoyed the food at Cosi! The menu offers plenty of choices. The service was okay, but we had to wait a while, especially at the beginning. The food was served quite quickly afterward, which made up for the earlier delay. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere. We did experience some discomfort due to the poor ventilation; it felt a bit blue. All in all, a successful evening, and we'll definitely be back!

The food here is truly delicious, especially the appetizer platter is highly recommended. The quality of the food is good, but you shouldn't go here just for a quick bite to eat before a show or movie; the service is far too slow for that. I would definitely go back, but make sure you have plenty of time if you plan to eat here.

What lovely service and what bad food. If you buy mixed tapas at the Apiie for 5 euros, it is even tastier. Too bad.

We had a lovely time outside, ordered a snack platter for two, which was more than enough to last us a while. Afterward, we wanted to share a pizza. But we ran out of dough... so we ended up with a beetroot salad with goat cheese... but I didn't see or taste the latter. I only realized it when I got home... the portion and price were quite unbalanced. But despite that feeling afterward, we had a delicious meal and a lovely evening on the patio. See photo.

A pizza restaurant that didn't have pizzas available. That was just a letdown. Also the portions for the rest of the choices were ridiculous... and most of the stuff on the menu were overpriced, for example 28euro for a steak and an eggplant. Nevertheless the staff were friendly and fast.

Good restaurant, nice atmosphere and reasonable prices

I'd eaten at Cosi a while ago, but hadn't written a review yet. I couldn't quite remember what I thought of it back then, so I tried it again today. Cosi is located on a busy road, but it's also a great place to people-watch, as it has a nice terrace and a (low) hedge between the terrace and the road. If you don't mind traffic noise, it's a very pleasant place to sit. We both ordered carpaccio for our starters. It was sliced quite thickly. I noticed right away that cutting it was difficult, even with a sharp knife. When I ate the carpaccio, I found it hard to swallow after chewing. So I decided not to eat it. After quite a while, a waitress came by. I told her it was too thick, and she suggested I get a new one, and they would cut it thinner. Because it was fresh, the slices might be a bit thicker. I thought this was a good solution. Unfortunately, the new one wasn't much thinner, so I just ate around the thicker pieces and left the rest. So, I wouldn't recommend the carpaccio. For our main course, we had a pizza and a pasta to share. We each got a separate small plate, which was nice. The pizza was delicious. Quite thin, but with a soft, thick crust. The pasta was extremely salty and therefore not tasty either. My friend jokingly said they did that on purpose because of the carpaccio to see if I would comment. I don't think that's true. I ate the pasta because I was quite hungry by then, but it really wasn't tasty, and I didn't say anything more about it. The service was generally polite and came by often enough, but I didn't see them smile. Perhaps it was because of the carpaccio. In other words, the location and service are okay. The pizza is good, but the rest is not good. We didn't try dessert and went elsewhere for dinner. Legend 1) Terrible! I advise against it, I'll never come back! 2) Too bad, below my expectations, I won't be back. 3) Okay, nothing wrong with it, but nothing special, nice for a one-time visit. 4) Excellent, worth coming back. 5) Excellent! I recommend it, I'll definitely be back!

If you want to eat well in Arnhem, go to Cosi. Small menu but delicious food and friendly staff. We had the bruschetta as a starter and then the pizza with ham and the vegetarian pasta with truffle. Super, really recommended.

I entered, I asked if a reservation was necessary, I was told no, then after 5 minutes I took my own menu, and the two blonde waitresses who looked and served the tables sat down after me, and after another 8 minutes of waiting I had to leave! It's a shame about the location because it looks nice and I would have tried their dishes.

As a half-Napoletan, I am critical of pizza. Those from Così are among the tastiest. I ate tagliatelle al tartufo. Fantastic. Always good atmosphere and prices quite reasonable.

Jan 2025. Nice cozy restaurant with good food. Some dishes can also be gluten-free. Not pizzas. There is a cozy atmosphere. Tables fairly close together. Doesn't look good from the outside, but it does look good from the inside. I have a gluten allergy and had no problems after a 3-course menu.

Excellent food. Especially the tomato soup. Unfortunately we didn't order a salad, because without it you definitely wouldn't get the 200 grams of vegetables per person

Visited Cosi multiple times over the years, and it is one of my favorites in Arnhem. Great 'sfeer' for having a date, dinner with friends, or a wine and pasta alone. The food is tasty, affordable (you can make it affordable or more pricy; depending on what you choose), and fresh. There is nearby parking spots - and otherwise easy to reach with the bus from the central station, and a short walk from the bus stop. Most of the staff are very friendly and service minded. Can definitely recommend.

The food was really tasty, we ordered most of the starters on the menu and shared them between us. All of them were very good, especially the risotto bitterballen, bruschetta and chicory leaf with creamy cheese. For main I had the bolognese gnocchi, also very good and then finished with the affogato, the espresso was excellent. Service was friendly and I really enjoyed the evening.

We received the tip to pick up a pizza. Looked like a cardboard children's pizza. For €18. Really doesn't make any sense. No taste, little toppings and a mini size. Not recommended. Staff was nice!

Surprisingly bad the 2nd time around. I have come to this restaurant before and enjoyed so I decided to come again during my visit to Arnhem. This 2nd visit both dishes we did not enjoy. The Gnocchi Bolognese didn’t resemble what you would expect and the pizza I could not tell if in fact it had any prosciutto at all. After trying to force ourselves a bit to eat we decided to give up and leave. Just to clarify the pizza bread was good only the ingredients combination for the prosciutto was not for my palate, but the gnocchi was a tragedy of a plate. We ended picking up something to eat on the way back to our hotel.

Gives the impression that you are in a good, yet cozy Italian restaurant. The pizza, however, was quite a disappointment. Pizza Burrata was served with less than a quarter of the Burrata itself. The taste was also disappointing. Good wines, nice seating and friendly service.

Food is delicious. First had an antipasti platter. Very tasty. Then pizza caprese and tortellini with shrimp in bisque. TOP! We like to eat with you because the food is tasty, affordable and the staff is very friendly and fun! See you again soon!

It's a shame that we cannot endorse the positive reviews here. Unfortunately, the food is mediocre at best. We also found a piece of plastic in our food and a long hair on a plate. When we pointed this out to the staff, the response was, erm... 'hypothermic', so to speak. They really didn't care. After the main course, the staff decided to have a nice chat with each other at the bar and leave the guests to their own devices on the terrace. Not recommended: neither in terms of food nor staff.

Unfortunately, our experience was much less positive than the good reviews suggested. The welcome was friendly, we quickly received our (free) tap water and some tasty nibble sticks, but then we had to wait 25 minutes before we could even order a drink. The waiter regularly walked by to serve something but didn't take a second look at the rest of the room. When we were finally able to order and made a (friendly) comment about the long waiting time, we didn't get the feeling that they really cared that we had had to wait so long. The food came quite quickly afterwards, the bread with the dips was tasty, but quite pricey, the main course (pasta with shrimps) was really very mediocre, and not really cheap either. In short: very mediocre, uninterested service (by the way, there was also a friendly lady walking around, maybe we were just unlucky), very mediocre food, and far too expensive for the experience offered. There are really many better Italian restaurants, also in Arnhem.

i would like to share my experience from our recent visit to your restaurant. Overall the food was tasty, but I must note that the service could be significantly improved. We had to wait almost two hours for our food, while people who arrived after us were served their meals earlier. Additionally, the electricity went out during our visit, further complicating the experience. As compensation we only received a drink. While we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, we believe the situation could have been handled better. We hope you take this feedback to heart and take steps to improve service quality in the future.

Crappy tent. Focaccia 4 pieces with pesto that tasted like spinach For 8.50, price/quality is not in proportion. Then the main courses; The duck confit wasn't even candied and it was way overcooked for 26.50. My girlfriend had a pasta with mushrooms, there were a maximum of 4 pieces of mushrooms with little taste, this cannot be called mushroom pasta. All in all, not at all what we expected, and certainly not worth repeating!

Super zaak! Mooie klassieke Italiaanse gerechten, soms met een sympathieke twist. Wijnen zijn top, personeel weet ook prima wijn- en spijscombinaties te adviseren. Locatie is geweldig. Zomers op terras buiten is onweerstaanbaar!

Bij binnenkomst, we hadden niet gereserveerd, hadden we de keuze uit de bar, of een tafel boven. We kozen het laatste. Hoewel er behoorlijk wat personeel rond liep en het niet druk was, duurde het vrij lang voor er werd gevraagd om een drankje. Ik koos moscow Mule, die was goed bereid. Voorgerecht een Focaccia met boter ( 6,50) en COQUILLES ( 14,50) De focaccia bestond uit drie sneetjes, en de COQUILLES betrof 2 stuks. Hoewel de COQUILLES niet slecht bereid waren, was het vrij karig, hetgeen ook gold voor de Focaccia. Hoofdgerecht, beiden een pasta, met paddestoelen en met rundstoof. Wederom karige porties en ook geen super bereiding. De Panna Cotta was ok, maar wederom een minimale hoeveelheid. Prijs kwaliteit is ver beneden peil.

The staff was super friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, we didn’t appreciated the wine selection - for an Italian trattoria we expected a much better section of wines. Also, the pizza didn’t meet the standards of an Italian trattoria.

We zaten in de achterkamer, waar het iets rustiger was dan voor. We werden uitstekend bediend en het contact was ook heel leuk. We namen carpaccio en pizza en alles smaakte heerlijk. Ik kom hier zeker nog eens terug!

Very nice atmosphere- cosy, small and intimate (mainly the reason for the 2 stars, would’ve been less). Worst pasta ever- super watery and tasteless, both mine and my partner’s. Waiter was overworked and rude.

Erg lekker Italiaans gegeten. Leuk restaurant, maar die avond was er naast ons een tafel met luidruchtige 50 plussers die teveel op hadden.

We hebben hier afgelopen week pizza gehaald. Goede kwaliteit voor een Nederlandse pizzeria. We vonden de prijs van de 14,95 voor een Margherita wat aan de hoge kant, het is tenslotte een basispizza. Daarnaast hoort op de Margherita geen oregano thuis ;-). We zijn wel nieuwsgierig naar de kwaliteit als restaurant dus dat komen we nog een keer proberen en dan gooien we nog een review online.

Ik ben hier nu een paar keer geweest en bevalt altijd. Zeer lekker eten voor een goede prijs. Lekkere wijnen en goede bediening!
