Tuk Tuk Thai in Jordaan

Very overpriced. €44 for soup and padthai and fishcakes and two drinks. Total €10 more than menu listed. Had to pash cash and no receipt given, which is inappropriate.

Guys I won't say much, just try the spicy fried chicken with basil leaves. You will remember it, crazy good (ps: if you do not want it too spicy, take "Amsterdam spicy level"

Yesterday I was getting Thais food from this restaurant at Thailand Grand Festival! in Den Haag. Everything was messed up! Many people was standing and waiting in line for half hours - hours, But There are someone just came from behind and went to ordered the food and they've got food before a lot of people who was standing in front of a queue. (is this a Thai culture?) I did order (Thai-Style Grilled Pork Skewers) The taste was nothing and how it looks like. it looks so different as a picture. Terrible Customer Service.

Okay if you haven’t been to south-east Asia you might not go in - it really looks like a street restaurant in Thailand or Cambodia. The lady of the house and cook and owner is so nice and funny - chatting allowed and wanted ! Now to the food. No complains at all and I constantly go and pick up food and tryout new dishes. Just give it a try 👍🏻

I placed an order from thuisbezorgd to the restaurant. The restaurant called me after an hour of waiting that they don’t have a delivery personnel so they ask me to just pick up my order. I ordered the food because I have a friend at my place for dinner which I explained to the owner. He just simply told me that he can’t do anything. Awful and Bad service

Food tease ok but price quite high we got omelet at 12 euro. She try to advised order food not in menu list. They should not treat Thai customer who willing to eat in their restaurant like this.

Delicious food - we had the pad thai. Seems like most of their business is takeout, just a few seats inside. But we weren't looking for anything fancy - stopped in taking a chance and were happy we did!

Food was made by a very nice woman who received us with a smile in her face. The place is not fancy. It looks more like a homemade food joint but everything was clean. The food was AMAZING and if it wasnt because there is an unannounced charge for eating there, they wouldve had my 5 stars. Payment with card possible, no toilette in the restaurant. Stumbled onto this place on may way to the Anne Frank Huis and thank God I did! Having lived in Thailand, I can say that they serve authentic Thai food! The patroness is a charming Thai lady who gleefully greets customers. I liked it so much I ate here three out of six days I was in Amsterdam. Don't expect much in terms of ambience but you're there to eat, not for the ambience!

Loved the food! The owner was very friendly and recommended the pad thai, which was delicious with fresh vegetables and chicken, the peanuts and taste of coriander made it yummy. Felt like vacation in thailand. My partner had the fried noodles beef, also very tasty with broccoli and fresh pepper. I would definitely recommend this place if you love a good prepared fresh thai meal!

I went to the restaurant on Sept 11th 2023 for a quick lunch, the food was very average. When I asked to pay for my bill the owner preferred that I pay by cash, so I did the favor to her, and required to leave my email address in order to receive a receipt. 1 week later still no receipt and I called the restaurant a couple of times, finally the owner answered and said because I paid by cash so they could not provide a receipt (something like this) then just handed up the phone without any politeness. No wonder why the note is so low, and I would recommend NO ONE to go to this restaurant!!!

Fantastic food, I got the panga beef curry and it was as delicious as what I had in Thailand. Its homemade and she knows what she’s doing, very authentic! Highly recommended!

Why do they have 3.8? It’s impossible to find thai food this good in Thailand, let alone anywhere else.

We stopped here from the Anne Frank House, and we were blown away by the quality of the food!! Even more authentic than the Thai cuisine in our home, Toronto, Canada! We can really taste the lemongrass, and the depth of aromatic spices was incredible! Thank you Tuk for the delicious food and recommendations :) We had a sit down dinner for my family of 4!

Both times I ate at Tuk Tuk Thai, the food was delicious, as authentic as my experience in Thailand, made to order just as you want, large portions, fresh tasting, friendly service. Park your bike right outside and walk in.

just saw tuk tuk thai passing on my bike. Ordered for take out the red curry vegetarian medium hot. It was excellent, good portion and tasty. Bit surprised the rating here isn't so high while i know at least a dozen thai restaurants in the city. This one is good.

Delicious! The lady was so friendly. She provided some good suggestions for us to try and then promptly cooked the food. We really enjoyed her food!

The service was nice and friendly. The wait was long., but that was acceptable. The food was good, not great. What was it? Expensive, especially when compared with other meals (better) that we had in Amsterdam. For three people, who each had a small soup, Pad Thai and one beer, the total was $100 USD. Maybe that’s what Thai food costs in Amsterdam, but it was the most expensive Thai food I have ever eaten!

Third time to take away from the always lovely owner. The food had just such a great authentic flavour that we keep coming for take aways. The Curries are awesome..

Lang geleden dat ik zo lekker Thais heb gegeten. Alles was heerlijk, we komen zeker vaker terug.

Vandaag was ik een hapje gaan eten. Bestelde een groene curry. Moest E15.50 afrekenen. Toen ik op het bord E13.50 zag staan vroeg ik waarom dat ik meer afrekenden. De dame zei omdat ik het daar op at. Belachelijk. Het gerecht was wel lekker maar slaat nergens op dit. Volgende x ga ik weer naar Bird. Dan is de prijs gewoon hetzelfde of ik het daar eet of meeneem

Very expensive for an 'ok' dish. I paid 18€ for 1 padthai and a can of coconut juice. Just walk a little further for a good Thai.

Decidimos ir porque por las fotos nos pareció bastante auténtico y no nos equivocamos. El servicio fue inmejorable, la comida increíble y recién hecha, aunque un poco cara, pero en la linea de toda la ciudad. Sin duda lo recomiendo ya que es un sitio para ir y repetir!!

Friendly owner, food cooked quick and fresh, varied menu.

The restaurant is located near Anne Frank museum. It is a deli style, but you can also order a la carte. The Thai lady is super nice and makes our order to the authentic level of spiciness. The hotness of that curry beef and curry shrimp just was so right. Each curry comes with a plain rice. Mixing the cucurrent sauce and rice you will have to best taste in your mouth. your taste buds will feel very delighted. We spent totally 30.5 euro for these two dishes.

Good Thai that does not go overboard with the fish sauce. Everything was delicious. Just little over priced but for the location, it's to be expected.
