Overall: Decent Thai place - good quality and big portions for the price. 🥘Food: good quality, flavourful (Although could be a bit more spicy). Had a good selection of options, including vegetarian. Not a “5” as wasn’t anything outstanding. 💁‍♀️Service: the lady was nice, even gave us extra rice as a compliment to go home together with the leftovers. Food was served relatively quickly. Could have had more attention, especially when we finished food, but she also was alone in the room. 🪷Atmosphere: not that cosy, a bit too much white/ cold colours. Sitting next to the windows was fine. in the summer it was a bit hot.

We ate there today as a family and were absolutely thrilled! Everything is freshly cooked and tastes that way too. Very authentic and delicious! The best Thai restaurant we have eaten at so far. The portions are huge, the price-performance ratio is good and the service is very good! We will come again!!!

It was such an authentic Thai Food experience. We had Thai Green Curry, Sweet Sour Fillet Fish and Tom Yum Kung soup, plus Thai Milk Tea and Mango Sticky Rice. Soooo good! And the hostess was one of the nicest hostesses I’ve had the pleasure of meeting. Well done all! Will definitely come back and bring friends 🥰

Very nice restaurant with nice service. The tom yam gai was sweet like dessert, I ate it. Som tam was bitter and had a strange taste. Couldn't eat anything. The boss accommodated me on the price. However, I have never experienced this before😉

The dishes, nasi chicken thigh (you have to love it, because the menu only says chicken instead of some kind of chicken), was okay for once, but not special or tasty. The other dish, with cashew nuts, was tasty with lots of vegetables in soy sauce. Hence the 2nd star. This is my only review with 2 stars and I am really used to something and different, so you can imagine. The interior is simple and practical, with space for approximately 15 to 18 guests. You don't have to do it for the atmosphere. We were the only guests, so it was not busy with customers present. You notice in everything that it is mainly a store to pick up food instead of staying to eat. We were asked once at the table what we wanted to drink when we had taken our seats. When the food was taken and brought, we were not asked if we wanted something to drink. Fine, I can also ask myself, but no one came by in between to ask if everything was to your liking/the food tasted. When I then asked for a spa blue myself and it was brought, I only received the bottle, without a glass, while my first drink was a glass of wine (??). Even then we were not asked if everything was satisfactory. I poured a little into the wine glass, because they were too busy preparing takeaway dishes, so I didn't even want to ask anymore. You almost start to feel heavy. Then, more than half of one of our dishes was left. My group thought it would be a shame to throw this away, so we asked if we could take it with us. That was possible and we were given a folded paper bag and food bowl on the table, so that we could do this ourselves. Never experienced this before! I immediately went to pay, left the rest of my drinks and left without tipping. Didn't see us again. Not even for takeaway. I can tell you from experience that there are plenty of better and tastier tents.

Good food, but really not authentic. Ordered Phad kraphauw (holy basil & pepper) and it was very similar to what we eat in Thailand. Added bell peppers and green beans, chicken in large pieces, NL basil and the sauce had a completely different taste. Such a shame, but something we see at all Thai restaurants in Amsterdam. I'm going to make this dish myself out of desperation.

Lovely authentic Thai food. I had the prawn spicy soup and the red curry. Really enjoyed it all. Great service and they even let us in early before officially opening.

Delicious food... great service... nice staff

The food here is always excellent, which is why we ordered there today. Food for pickup would be ready in 15 minutes, well that makes home delivery an hour once you have paid. Canceling is also not an option. Just go out for a nice meal here, but I strongly advise against ordering or pickup.

Echt lekker Thais eten. Met de echte Thaise sfeer bij Thaise nationals. Klein, knus, gezellig, goed geprijsd. Lekker en gezond eten voor betaalbare prijzen. Personeel doen hun uiterste best om het mensen naar de zin te maken. Eten is altijd vers en lekker. Veel groenten en traditionele authentieke gerechten als opties als je er naar vraagt (off menu). Niets om over te kunnen klagen.

Vanavond bij Tomyumkung gegeten in Amsterdam Oost Het eten zeer goed en veel. Het is een aanrader voor iedereen die van thai food houd.

Everything was very well packed and the rolls were tasty and warm but the Tom yum was just very bland and watery. The soup was barely even spicy. It wasn't nearly as sour as it's supposed to be. Not at all creamy. I wouldn't even say that this was Tom yum if I hadn't ordered it myself. The food is not bad, it's just not even remotely as tasty and rich as the real thing. And that's why I gave 2 stars.

Delicious trhai food in West Amsterdam. We always eat here whenever we come to Amsterdam. Very friendly staff, clean environment and cozy atmosphere. I feel home since I connect to Asia easily.

I was really hoping to discover a new Thai restaurant. The service was good and friendly. I tested by trying 2 standard Thai dishes: Tom Yam Kung and Pad Thai. the Tom Yum wasn't too bad. They were generous with the prawns. However, the pad Thai was really sweet. reminiscent of American Thai restaurants. Also, a bit expensive for what it was. Sorry, had to give only 3 stars.

Eten was ok. Maar voor die prijs was het echt te duur. Binnen ziet het eruit als een gaarkeuken. Bediening was vriendelijk.

Een zeer ruim en helder opgezette locatie met een klassieke Thaise kaart. Niet heel verrassend, wèl heel erg lekker en zeer betaalbaar. De bediening maakte wel een foutje maar dat werd makkelijker dan makkelijk opgelost. Hier ga ik vaker komen.

Heerlijk gegeten waren zo aardig om na sluitingstijd toch nog wat te maken loempia's heerlijk viskoekjes ook! Houd zelf wat van meer Spice maar dat is bij iedereen anders... werk zelf in de keuken zeker een aanrader!

overcooked, , Asian veggies were replaced by Western. no long green beans but ordinary green beans. no green aubergine but western aubergine...the coconut curry did taste sweet but no taste of the curry itself... a waste of money

De Phad thai is niet lekker. De noodles zijn helemaal kapot gewokt en de smaak is niet bijzonder. De vegetarische groene curry zit inderdaad vol met tofu (mag echt minder) en de curry zelf smaakt ook matig. De bezorging op een zaterdag avond was een half uur later dan verwacht maar dat vond ik niet eens erg. Alleen wel jammer dat het wachten niet beloonde.

Ach, nee! Waar is de kok gebleven die bij Siam eethuisje kookte? We bestelden via thuisbezorgt.nl. Viskoekjes zijn een soort keiharde taaie plakken, veel te groot, een soort gebakken kipfilet met sperziebonen. We bestelde groene curry. Niets aan dit gerecht deed denken aan groene curry. Kip was taai, geen Thaise aubergine gezien en grote plakken bamboescheuten uit een blik. De (curry)saus smaakte totaal niet naar groene curry. We bestelde kip in oestersaus. Wat jammer, ook dit gerecht is totaal niet zoals je van een Thais restaurant mag verwachten. Ik denk niet dat hier een Thaise kok of kokkin in de keuken staat. Ook een beetje vreemd dat de groene curry EUR 14,- kost, maar met kip is dit gerecht EUR 1,- duurder, met rund EUR 2,- duurder en met garnalen EUR 3,- duurder. Je hebt alleen de keuze uit kip, rund of garnalen dus nee, dit gerecht is nooit EUR 14,- Wat een teleurstelling!

Eerste keer geweest, het gaat wel. Ik heb visgerecht genomen met pittige saus. De ontvangst was goed, ik kreeg meteen een tafel voor een. Prima. Keuze maken van de gerechten was ook zonder probleem. De dame was behulpzaam en vriendelijk. Het eten was wel vers, maar weinig smaak of eerlijk gezegd, ik proefde te veel MSG in het eten. Dat is te merken aan de droge mond en het constant dorst na het eten. Bij het afrekenen, kon de dame aan de kassa moeilijk een btw bon uitschrijven. Ik ging eten voor de zaak, dus kon dat declareren. Daarom maar drie sterren in plaats van vijf.

Heerlijk gegeten! Alles goed op smaak!

Het eten is authentiek Thais. Personeel is hulpvaardig en vriendelijk. Prijzen zijn schappelijk.

*uiteindelijk tot een prima compromis gekomen* Via bezorgservice drie gerechten besteld. Een van de gerechten was niet wat ik besteld had en de andere met noten terwijl dit niet aangegeven staat op de pagina. Bij telefonisch contact de niet berijd om mij tegemoet te komen. Ze wilden het eten weer op komen halen en de juiste bestelling brengen, maar dat ging niet omdat ik ondanks de onjuiste bestelling toch aan het eten begonnen was. Geld terugvragen moest volgens hun ik via de bezorgservice doen maar ik dat probeerde werd mij verteld dat ze bij het restaurant niet berijd waren mijn geld terug te storten en contact met me op zouden nemen. Vervolgens kreeg ik een vriendelijk iemand van het restaurant aan de deur die de bestelling toch weer op kwam halen. Dat contact verliep goed en we zijn tot een goed compromis gekomen.

Ik kom al in dit restaurant zolang het bestaat. 1e eigenaar perfect en goed eten, jaren lang de zelfde kok, vrouw van eigenaar 2e eigenaar goed eten, geen klachten Had begrepen dat er nu weer een andere eigenaar in zit. Het eten is bagger en ik ben er ziek van geworden, als je er wat van zegt krijg je nog commentaar ook. Eten was ronduit slecht, kok die in de keuken staat is geen kok. Ruim 35 jaar eet ik thais eten zowel in Nederland en Thailand. Dit was geen eten was een opgewarmde kliek van iemand anders. Schandalig dat met dit durfde te reserveren. Hier kom ik nooit meer

Soy tailandesa He estado en Holanda el año pasado para visitar amigos. Estaba ansiando comida tailandesa y estaba buscando algún restaurante tailandés para aliviar mi ansia de comida tailandesa. Encontré este por accidente y tuve que decir que tuve la suerte de tener comida tailandesa que sabía casi igual que la comida tailandesa que tenemos en Tailandia. No me sorprende en absoluto después de ver al propietario, que es un tailandés que es bastante selectivo en cuanto a los ingredientes (de nuestra conversación). ¡Altamente recomendado! ! !
