Turks Restaurant Kasap Rotterdam in Charlois

I ate here again yesterday and got food poisoning. I'm not bashing them, as I eat there often, but this was a truly intense night of vomiting. Never again for me.

We enjoyed the delicious food. We had several appetizers, tasty sauces, and delicious bread. The service was friendly and helpful. The meat and lentil soup were delicious; we really enjoyed it!

There was nothing left in stock, even though they were accepting reservations. The Utrecht branch I frequent is 1000 times better. In addition, orders were forgotten, and we had to ask for them multiple times! No more coming here!

Great location overlooking the Erasmus Bridge. Ample parking nearby (paid Mon-Sat until 11 PM). The restaurant is spacious, so you don't feel like you're sitting on top of each other. Plenty of meats to choose from. You can also choose how you want it (medium rare, etc.). Fries, salad, etc. are also included. All in all, very satisfied with the service and the food.

I'm disappointed, it's a shame I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. All the staff are underage and have absolutely no interest in working.

Nice atmosphere inside, but very quiet. The staff's friendliness also varies from person to person. It took a really long time for the "concept" to be explained. The food was served quickly, though. The ground meat and beef were absolutely tasteless. The lamb was very tough and practically unseasoned. But the chicken was very tasty. It's still a shame that you have to pay a premium for this quality of food, which isn't really worth it.

A very disappointing and unhygienic experience at Kassap My husband and I recently dined at Kassap Restaurant. Everything seemed fine at first, until I received an içli köfte that was simply unacceptable: completely burnt on the outside and raw on the inside. I reported this immediately, but I refused to accept a replacement. What happened next was truly shocking. An older waitress cleared away the leftover Turkish bread from our table and placed the bread container back on top of the large bread basket containing the remaining bread. Another waitress then served this bread to other guests. When I confronted both waitresses and made it clear that this was absolutely unacceptable for hygiene and food safety reasons (especially since I was already feeling ill), the older waitress responded, without a trace of shame, that they don't throw the bread away but reuse it. I was truly shocked. This is not only unprofessional but also hazardous to my health. Hygiene doesn't seem to be a priority here at all. For me, reason enough to never come back here and to warn others about this.

Everything was great, good prices, super fast service, and very polite staff. I'd gladly come again!

Good Turkish Grill Restaurant: Food, Service, and Location are really good. Quite affordable price, for 2 people we just spent €63, but with Social Deals we just need to pay €43 for all the food in those pictures

The quality of the meat and the service are truly excellent. The only downside is that it's quite pricey, and you don't immediately see the weight of the meat on the scale, so you don't know what you'll have to pay later. So don't use a Social Deal voucher for this restaurant. It's definitely worth it and cozy, and the food is delicious, but keep in mind that it's expensive; for 2 or 3 people, you'll easily spend over 150 euros.

Unfortunately, my experience at Kasab Rotterdam was very disappointing. When choosing the meat, we specified that we wanted well-cooked meat. Unfortunately, they took the meat back and it was burnt. But it was extremely burnt. They said they were familiar with garlic sauce, but they told us it was gone. All in all, I'll never order Kasab in Rotterdam again. I paid €160.00 for 4 people, which isn't worth the price.

The quality of the food is completely different from the Utrecht location. We didn't find it all that good. Kasap Utrecht, on the other hand, has fantastic food.

There were six of us, and the food arrived promptly. Once you're there, you go to the bar (counter) to order your food, and when it's ready, the staff brings it. We ordered two fries, but they forgot them. Besides the good food, I think it's a small restaurant. When we were there, not all the tables were full, but if it were full, it would have been too crowded.

The food was very tasty, with a decent selection, though it was a bit pricey. We paid €117 for two people, which included two drinks and what you can see in the photo. It was busy, but the atmosphere was nice, with a beautiful view, and the staff were friendly.

Unfortunately, my experience at Kasap Rotterdam was very disappointing. The white rice had hard, sticky bits, while the bulgur was completely flavorless. The fries were served lukewarm, and the mushrooms I ordered were completely absent. The tenderloin was the only decent part, while the chicken wings were dried out. The ground beef could just about pass with a little ketchup. The bell pepper was hard and cold, probably grilled a few times ago. I paid €52 for all this. The mezzes they had were limited to only white varieties and were also disappointing. All in all, I'm not satisfied and can't recommend anyone to eat here. You can get much better for this price. The service was generally fast, but it was noticeable that there weren't many visitors during the day.

If you are a true meat enthusiast, you need to find this place in Rotterdam. Hands down, the best steak I've had in a long time. The quality of the cut was phenomenal—perfectly seasoned and cooked to utter perfection (crisp exterior, meltingly tender and juicy inside). The preparation truly respects the ingredients. A simple, unforgettable dining experience. Every bite was outstanding. Highly recommend for anyone craving top-tier beef!

I expected less, but what I got was simply WOW!!! The food was absolutely delicious. The meat was grilled perfectly to the desired doneness. I ordered medium rare and got exactly the tenderness and softness I was looking for. The meat was served with a generous amount of side dishes and grilled vegetables, lots of sauces, and a salad. We ordered about a kilogram of different types of meat between two people and thought we'd have to order more. We were wrong; we could barely finish the amount of food they brought us.

I think the fries could be a bit better than regular fast food fries for such a restaurant and I think they will also look better.

I want to express my disappointment regarding my recent visit to your restaurant. My husband and I dined there yesterday and ordered meat. While ordering, a woman initially helped us, but then the owner took over. When I asked if he could weigh the meat (since the price wasn't fixed), he told me to sit down and he would do it later. I found it odd that we weren't allowed to be present when our meat was weighed. Unfortunately, the meat wasn't tasty and very tough. We are very disappointed with the quality of the food and the service. We will never go to these scammers again.

Poor explanation, everyone is unclear. I literally asked two waiters and the owner what was included in the Social Deal, in terms of order limits, etc. Answer: Yes, you can choose anything. I said I had a Social Deal and still got the same answer (you can choose anything). I received a voucher for €100 extra to pay for meat. I literally had 6 kofte, 3 chicken dishes, 3 steaks, 6 lamb chops, and vegetables. A starter, salad, and tapas. Plus a dessert, that's it. I thought it was included in the €30 per person Social Deal, but it turns out not to be. Very disappointed, so BEWARE. My vibes were immediately ruined after eating. Not a good feeling after that outing with my mother. Never again, I feel ripped off!!

You have to choose the meat yourself. A piece of meat was first undercooked and then they brought it back properly burnt. There is no sauce that you can order extra, so no mushroom or pepper sauce. Just now read the reviews. I'm surprised. There were 5 of us without reservations. Looking for a place. Received (was asked if it was okay) a round table, great. You could choose meat. Not everything was included. But the lady explained everything well and was patient. Received Turkish bread with various spreads in advance. 2 bowls of salad were placed. 2 bowls of sauce (3 different) fries. The hamburger came separately. Meat on a large plank with broccoli and rice and mushrooms. Desserts of baklava. Ice cream, red velvet coffee We had a delicious meal. Meat melted in your mouth. Great experience.

3 people, bill of €175,-!!!!! for 3x a mixed Grill, they secretly add some extra containers and add tea without asking. Goes up quite a bit. Mixed grill was very little, little taste, never go again you will be pretty screwed.

We had dinner here with 18 people. Reserving went without any problems. We called again an hour in advance to see if there were any changes to the schedule. That was neat. No atmosphere, food or service at all. We were completely alone. The meat in the display case was no longer fresh. Just discolored towards black. Tried a few pieces of meat and it was inedible. Today we had dinner at restaurant Kassap. First of all I would like to point out that the meat was not tasty. The Adana kebab and köfte tasted old and seemed undercooked, which made the taste very unpleasant. My advice would be to pay extra attention to the quality and freshness of the meat.

You have to choose the meat all together, all meat is served on 1 board, which also includes rice. You get tapas, bread and salad in advance. There were no serving spoons for the rice. If meat stayed on the board too long, it tasted strange, unfortunately I can't describe how (a bit of iron taste). Unfortunately this restaurant is not in my list!

Was not expected! Meats were not cooked well. Also, prices were not clear and not logical with the quality. The worst thing experienced was their waitress and staff behavior. I don't like the restaurant, and they will not meet us again.

I recently ate at Kasap in Rotterdam, a place known for its meat dishes. As a true fan, I had quite high expectations, and I must say that the food was certainly good. The flavors were excellent, the presentation neat, and the portions generous. I give it a 6.8, which means I found it a pleasant experience. By Rotterdam standards this is definitely one of the better places to enjoy good meat. Outside Rotterdam they would fall into the middle class, but still highly recommended if you are in the city!

Yesterday I was at Kasap restaurant with a number of colleagues. We were unfamiliar with the concept, but after an explanation from the employee it was quite easy to choose. You literally pay for what you eat. The food was very good, I saw my colleagues enjoying every bite. In terms of price, I expected it to be higher, but it wasn't too bad! Original concept you choose your meat priced by weight then you bring accompaniments with rice fries and wheat, a salad as a starter. We arrived almost at closing time and we were still served. Welcoming staff

Quite pricey for chicken, minced meat and steak. We paid 140 euros for 3 people. Minced meat on a skewer is not worth 10 euros per skewer. Management does not speak Dutch well, which quickly causes misunderstandings.

On the way to the restaurant I read the first review and immediately had my doubts but decided to go anyway: Once we got there, we were explained how the system works! You choose your meat and it is grilled for you.
