While other cafes sent me away 15 minutes before closing time, I was allowed to stay here and enjoy my time. Very nice and accommodating! I particularly like the “card only” policy – ​​it makes everything so much easier. Absolutely recommended!

Qué lugar fabuloso para un café de la mañana y desayuno ligero, decoración, menú, café, té de menta, servicio, ubicación son todos fabulosos. Claramente es un centro para una variedad de edades de lugareños y la diversidad es fabulosa de ver.

Found this gem on our last day, wish we found it sooner. Had a gorgeous breakfast, which is the first dish on the menu, fresh juice, eggs, pastry bread, yoghurt, ham, salmon for €15. It was delicious we shared it. Served by Max who was so super friendly host.

I am a regular customer but twice I was refused to order a coffee when I entered at 16:30. Too bad the inflexibility of staff :(

Great cafe in the cutest neighbourhood of The Hague. There is a great working area in the back. Their sandwiches are delicious, the coffee is great and the staff is lovely. On the expensive side but would recommend!

Een ochtend in juli. Koffie. Tafeltje op de stoep van een zijstraatje van de Denneweg. Druk verkeer dat zich letterlijk de bocht om met wringen. Toch gaan zitten, want in het zonnetje. Blijkt dat je binnen moet bestellen - helaas staat dat nergens aangegeven. Na de bestelling - onverschillige medewerkster - duurt het erg lang voor de koffie met gebak wordt gebracht; terwijl het niet druk is. Koffie is goed gelukkig. Het afrekenen kost ook wat tijd en (voor de medewerker) moeite. Jammer.

Stopped in for a rest and a tea and dessert. I wanted an ice tea but #allergy girl had to order a hot English tea and pour it over ice. The ice tea had citrus. It was a good tea.

It was one of my favourites. Now they close at 4pm, give you plastic chicken and got stinky. It's a pity, cause the location and the young students working there would deserve more.

I feel this is my favourite corner in The Hague. I went here several times for a good coffee and recently I had a superfood and healthy breakfast. The service is young, distinguished and polite, the terrace and the interior is gorgeously minimalist but with warm touches.

Not a fan of this concept. The place smells a bit bad when you enter. The waiter was only half listening. Eggs overcooked...

Our previous experiences were promising, but our recent experience has unfortunately disappointed us. We visited this restaurant again on April 14. I ordered the poached eggs with spinach. Unfortunately, this resulted in an unpleasant surprise: the next day I was admitted to hospital with a Salmonella infection. It is disappointing to see that what was once a place of pleasure and contentment has now become a source of worry and discomfort.

Was pleasantly surprised! Real nice coffee. Thoughtful and kind service; big thanks to the lovely barista for the mimosa. Will come back real soon. Awesome vibes.

We made a quick stop here to have a coffee. The service was very friendly and quick. Unfortunately, what we didn't like was that smells apparently moved from the toilet into the guest room. That's why we didn't stay there too long.

We went several times for coffee/tea and pastries during our stay in The Hague. Every time was excellent. The ambiance is lovely, the drinks are well prepared, and the food delicious, in particluar the oat cookie! There is a lot of attention to detail. A neighborhood gem.

Had breakfast here earlier and it was fine. However, lunch turned out to be disappointing. A small sandwich, with a crazy combination of ingredients, for 15 (!) Euros. The coffee is tasty, but very pricey. That wouldn't have been that bad if we were asked three times if we wanted to pay yet, while my friend was still eating and I was having coffee. The staff only speaks English and is disinterested. It was also repeated to incoming guests that they were seated, despite the fact that only 3 tables were occupied and 4 servers were present.

Really comfy yet stylish place to get breakfast. Food was great, service was excellent.

Hele leuke plek, HEERLIJKE chocomel maken ze zelf, heerlijke zelfgemaakte ice tea green. En een hele fijne sfeer binnen. Leuk zorgzaam personeel! En vaak word er iets leuks verzorgd vanuit de ondernemers uit de straat zo deze keer mooie sneeuwpoppen!

Heel vriendelijk, behulpzaam en heel lekker gegeten

Vandaag een ontbijt gehad bij Vascobelo. Dit was voor ons de tweede keer en wij hadden er zin in! Heel leuk gelegen in het centrum van Den Haag en leuke inrichting, knusse sfeer! Bij binnenkomst gevraagd aan een dame of wij plaats mochten nemen. Zij sprak Engels en gaf aan dat het kon maar het was geen warm welkom of communicatie. Eenmaal toen wij zaten, nam zij onze bestelling op. Toen wij 2 items van het ontbijt menu wilde vervangen naar vegetarische opties (wat mogelijk moest zijn aangezien dit ook op de menukaart aangegeven stond), keek ze moeilijk. Ze zij dat het niet kon. Wij moesten vragen wat wel kon en zelf met ideeën komen, zoals kaas bijvoorbeeld. Haar houding was niet positief en wij voelde ons niet prettig. Toen wij een mannelijke serveerder aanspraken en de situatie uitlegde, werden we beter geholpen. Complimenten naar hem voor het meedenken! Toen het eten arriveerde, wilde ik graag nog peper en zout toevoegen op mijn broodje avocado. Sommige tafels hadden peper en zout, onze. Dus ik vroeg het aan de dame die achter de bar stond. Ze keek moeilijk (alsof ze geen zin had om te werken en te helpen) en reageerde haastig in het Engels dat zij niet Nederlands spreekt en ik het aan iemand anders moet vragen (?). Verbaasd stond ik daar en keek ik haar aan, geschrokken. Dit is de 2e medewerker die een negatieve houding uitstraalde en niet leek te willen helpen. Gelukkig zag een andere serveerster het en vroeg ze aan mij of ze kon helpen? Ik keek haar aan en stond nog mond vol tanden van de situatie. Zij zag dit, ik zei dat ik puur voor peper en zout kwam. Gelukkig sprak zij Nederlands en was ze behulpzaam, want zij hielp wel meteen. Na deze nare ervaringen moest ik nog eten, was niet fijn. Alsof t niet erger kon: zout zat los en alles kwam los op het broodje avocado. Het leek erop alsof het niet goed kon gaan bij Vascobelo… terwijl t eten wel lekker was! Gelukkig hielp de jongeman goed en hij bracht opnieuw het brood met avocado. Toen wij weggingen was er ook niemand die echt groette. Wel jammer als je kijkt naar de service. Uiteindelijk gaat t ook om hoe je je voelt in een restaurant. Eten: croissant en chocolade broodje leek erg vers. Was lekker. Jasmijn thee was heerlijk! Komt in een potje. Brood, boter (best weinig) en kaas was prima. Avocado was ook prima. Wij balen dat het zo ging en hopen enorm dat het personeel getraind zal worden in klantvriendelijkheid en behulpzaamheid. De jongeman was daar wel een voorbeeld van. Dit is in zijn geheel ook gemaild naar Vascobelo Den Haag. Wij hopen op een spoedige reactie hierover.

A trendy hotspot with a vibrant atmosphere located on the corner of Hooistraat and the elegant Denneweg in The Hague. Nice place with comfortable seating and great interior. The menu is very limited but what we ordered was tasty, the vegetarian/vegan hummus with roasted cherry tomatoes. The portion was more snack size. The majority of the staff seems to speak only English. Will go there again.

Mega! Toller Style, sehr gut schmeckender Kaffee und vielfältige Auswahl an kleinen Gerichten

Nettes Café, mit toller Bedienung. Der Kaffee-Käsekuchen war nicht so mein Ding. Konsistenz wie Kleber, wobei der Geschmack noch OK war. Der Cappuccino war sehr lecker.

Super Café mit super Kaffee und einem sehr sympathischen Service. Auch das Sauerteigbrot mit Pesto, Avocado, Mozzarella und Tomaten kann ich sehr empfehlen. Die Sessel sind mega bequem und man möchte am liebsten noch eine weitere Stunde dort verbringen.

Love the place. Delicious food and coffee (also decaf). Love the fact that they dont charge extra for non-dairy milk (!).

Good restaurant with fresh foods

Das Frühstück war gut und lecker, aber die Preise sind dort etwas höher (den haag Innenstadt halt). Hier wird eher Wert auf Qualität als auf Quantität gelegt, was prinzipiell gut ist, sich jedoch bei der Menge und dem Preis bemerkbar macht.
