I found the sandwich of my life. Haha. This sandwich is truly made with care. I highly recommend the club sandwich. The bread is crispy, and the egg inside is fluffy, warm, and fresh! The juice is also freshly squeezed... I was impressed. This kind of care and quality is unimaginable for a price in Korea. I'll definitely be back again when I have time. ^^*

The owner is really nice! The food is really dutch and good. Coffee was nice too! I’m a big eater so would’ve expected a bit more for choosing the biggest menu of the card. But overall great spot for breakfast or lunch!

Vennington is an amazing cafe for breakfast and lunch. Small and cozy, and the owner is awesome. They are the masters of the club sandwich. They even have a breakfast version which is amazing. You will definitely have enough to take-away!

We discovered this bar almost by chance and we loved it. We ordered a lettuce, tomato, bacon and avocado sandwich, super good! Furthermore, the presentation was spectacular: you could see the care and attention to detail in each dish. The service was also ten. The waiter who served us was not only super friendly, but he was attentive to everything we needed. If you are in Amsterdam and looking for a place with good food, a cozy atmosphere and lovely staff, this bar is a safe bet. We will definitely return!

Enthusiastic welcome and service in a small but cozy restaurant where time seems to have stood still - in terms of decor - but I thought this only adds to the atmosphere; the manager was clearly triggered by our group in which we were Flemish, Speaking French and Italian at the same time, always a bonus if you can make contact with a local in a super touristy city like Amsterdam.

It’s the 3rd time I stop by in the course of 2 years. The quality and service is top notch and unchanged. My favorite combo : club sandwich and mango shake

Had a good pancake (of course it's hard to mess up a pancake). The service is incredible, the owner is amazingly friendly, syrup and powdered sugar are out on the tables, it smells amazing inside thanks to all the undoubtedly delicious sandwiches that are being produced. There is outdoor seating and it is not overrun with tourists. I can't wait to come back :)

My husband and I needed quick takeaway sandwiches as we needed to catch our boat tour. The owner asked how much time we had and was able to make our sandwiches straightaway and very tasty!

A gem. It's difficult to find a conventional breakfast place with good portions and prices in Amsterdam. Oh, there are upscale places where avocado toast is an art form, and delicious. Deze zijn ook goed. But, you know, sometimes we get nostalgic for a classic un-gentrified little cafe. We stumbled on this one. Want something a bit off-menu? Rashid will make it for you, "no problem". And it'll be terrific. He's been here for 14 years. The cafe has been here for 40. He's changed nothing, from the tables to the tiles, it's all original. Go to the fancy places first then you'll really appreciate this one.

The place looks dirty, with flys inside. We took bagel with salmon and it was the worst one I’ve ever tried. Small piece of salmon and old dry bagel that impossible to bite without breaking teeth.

Excellent place for a sandwich and or a cappuccino! They have multiple options on the menu and the price is affordable. Fruit shakes and shakes in general also available. I chose the ABC Club (Lettuce, chicken, tomato, bacon, avocado). It was very good.

Sehr nette Bedienung in verschiedenen Sprachen. Sehr leckeres Frühstück. Die Tomatensuppe war frisch und der Obstsalat frisch zubereitet.

Good place to eat at if you are heading on a boat tour with Those Dam Boat Guys. The cafe is right around the corner (literally) from the pick up spot. Fast service, outstanding and courteous service, free restrooms (!), good food. We sat outside in summer, I don’t know if outdoor seating is available in colder months. The owner is so nice and accommodating. Highly recommend this place. (Credit cards are accepted)

Stopped by this cute little shop while we were waiting for the Anne Frank House. The shakes are amazing!!! We had a banana strawberry milkshake, a fruit shake and a sugar and syrup pancake, all were delicious. The owner was super friendly and was cracking jokes every time he came to our table. Definitely worth a stop!

Made a quick stop for a shake treat here and it was perfect! I got a strawberry banana shake with ice cream. Yummy! My husband got a strawberry banana fruit shake with orange juice. Also very good! The owner is awesome and so fun to chat with!

We were in Amsterdam looking for a place to eat early on a Sunday morning before our visit to the Anne Frank House. Vennington was the only cafe open anywhere before 9:00 AM. Mr. Vennington could not have been a more gracious host. We thought the prices were comparable to just about everything else in the area, and truly, you cannot beat being "open" when no one else has woken up! We loved the fresh squeezed OJ. Thank you Mr. Vennington!!

Parámos neste café para tomar o café da manhã, e foi uma excelente surpresa! Havia lugares disponíveis no terraço, aproveitámos para tomar o pequeno almoço ao sol. O serviço foi rápido e muito simpático, e sobretudo os preços bastante justos, em comparação com outros cafés da cidade, adorámos.

Two thin slices of pancakes + one glass of orange juice here was €18???? It is so expensive and he didn’t give us a receipt as well so we don’t know how he charged them. The menu said the orange juice was about €3.60 but that means each slice of pancake is ~€7… would recommend asking for the price first.
