Ordered take out and they packed the cheese croissants together with the sweet pastries and the savory croissants are completely covered in sugar. Disgusting. Awful service

The staff could also use a bit of customer service training. I was treated so stoically and flatly when I went there this morning. If you charge such high prices, you'd expect the staff to at least be a bit more customer-friendly. The filled cookies are delicious, though.

Great place for delicious bread and coffee. I have my doubts about the hygiene, as all the croissants and rolls are handled with hands; there are no tongs or hygienic pick-up options. The croissants on the counter are also uncovered and below "cough height" for everyone working at the counter. It's disgusting. The sausage rolls are expensive and poorly filled. Otherwise, it's a great place.

I only recommend to toast all the toast , because we order de salmon one and it would be better if the bread was warm .

Perfect coffee and amazing service!

I was a bit early for my appointment and decided to take the opportunity for a coffee moment. I ordered an espresso and a sourdough roll with homemade tuna salad. What immediately stood out was the hospitality of the lady serving and the pleasant atmosphere in the shop. The presentation of both the coffee and the roll was neat and stylish. The tuna salad tasted wonderfully fresh and well seasoned, and the espresso was great - served as it should be, with a glass of water. The lunch menu also looked promising, with all kinds of tasty options. I will definitely come back here!

This was my first and last visit to this location. It looked inviting upon entering, so I'd planned to stop for lunch, but that fell through after I was told that both of my Good to Go packages were missing—the Easter package wasn't there at all, and the surprise package had become a bread package. The woman stoically kept repeating that a colleague had made a mistake, a "computer says no" situation, and offered no solution. She literally looked me out the door, and I ended up taking only the supposed bread package, which was also worthless, and asked for a refund from Good to Go. This is a place where everything goes smoothly as long as you don't have a problem, so be warned, especially if you're planning to order a Good to Go package here.

Bought a chocolate muffin today, the taste was delicious, but it was very dry. Seemed like a week old. That was a downer.

Ordered a cheese sandwich. Without informing me that the "sur place" fee was 2 euros, I had to pay 9.95. All tables were dirty, with glasses and mugs from previous guests. Strange that I had to pay 2 euros extra, without being informed, and then receive no service to collect dirty glasses and mugs from previous guests and clean the table. The sandwich was not tasty. Bread was ice cold as if it came from the freezer. Definitely not worth 10 euros.

The price of €5 is not worth it. I ordered a latte and got a tiny coffee that looked more like a cappuccino

Nicely sat in the sun here. Coffee and sandwiches also very tasty.

You are not allowed to order yourself if you want to sit down, but then they let you wait for a long time and prioritise pick-up. Frustrating. Food and atmosphere are nice though.

I went for a coffee, croissant, and multiple pastries. We ordered to go because we thought we were late for an appointment. At the last moment, we realized we had more time than we thought and decided to sit outside. The entire place was empty, both inside and outside. One of the staff members told us we needed to leave because we had ordered to go. I asked what I needed to do in order to stay, and was told I needed to order something from the “sitting down” menu and that I needed to leave. Given the rudeness, I picked up my things and left. They definitely won’t see me there again.

Bad service. Clear order placed. Received the wrong order, reported this, immediately received a comment as if it was my fault and nothing was done about it. Not really customer friendly.

Croissants are dated and you get charged a premium for a very average coffee and food (cortado 4,85).

Paid 13 euro for a sandwich order with salmon, but since they ran out of salmon they sent me one with avocado and goat cheese (that's not on the menu) that I would not pay 5 euro for. Disappointing.

€4.10 for a black coffee to go…. Farce

We had planned to go to a different cafe but had not booked and it was full. We walked through the rain to find anywhere we could get some breakfast and this place looked very inviting and crucially had empty tables. It is really a bakery and a sandwich take out place I guess but it had plenty of tables and people were amiably chatting and chilling. We were served promptly and whilst the menu was more limited than we had hoped for, we all found items we were happy with. I also was able to get soya milk. The coffee, smoothies and pastries were good, and we had freshly squeezed orange juice. We were also given a little taste of some apple cake. The food was invitingly presented and we were grateful of the sanctuary from the pouring rain!

I came here to get a coffee and a croissant and was asked if I wanted to eat in or do takeaway. I knew I wouldn’t have time to finish the entire coffee, so I said takeaway. My friend was running late, so I sat at one of the several open tables to sip my coffee and nibble the croissant. An employee then told me my items were only for takeaway and I had to leave. I explained that my friend was late and I was only waiting a few more minutes, and she said, and I quote- you can wait outside. So rude.

ps: they sell products that are OVER their expiration date. Dirtiest muffin ever. If you still spend the amount that the Vlaamsch Broodhuys charges, you would be better off going to Le Fournil. Even Albert Heijn has tastier muffins than this. Super dry and has zero flavor. The lady also asked for extra money to let me sit inside. Extremely antisocial and overpriced tent.

Too bad yet another business in Amsterdam that excludes people, no longer allows cash payments. You are only allowed to use your debit card here. While you are a commercial company, excluding certain groups of people... seems bad for your business.

Preis Leistung ist ein Hohn! Total überteuert! Euro 14.50 für wenig Brot, Butter und Konfitüre. Unser Frühsück wurde ohne Besteck serviert, wir mussten für (Brot, Besteck, Butter, Servietten) immer aufstehen und nachfragen. Milchkaffee, das mit Hafer statt mit Kuhmilch serviert wurde, wurde berechnet. Völlig überteuert bei unaufmerksamer und unfreundlicher Bedienung. Nie mehr wieder!

Geholpen door een aardige knul. Daarna werd m’n koffie gezet door de jongen met blond haar. Die zou echt wat vriendelijker tegen zijn klanten mogen zijn en tegen zijn collega’s. Nadat hij zelf een bestelling verkeerd had gelezen de ogen rollen en kortaf doen. Niet zo cool.

Heerlijk brood. Gezellige plek om koffie te drinken en het lekkerste (warme) chocoladebroodje van Amsterdam.

We visited this place for breakfast a few times and the toasties were the cheesiest and yummiest i tried in Amsterdam! Definitely go try them! We got Dimitri's Sandwich - Hummus and Grilled Sourdough Farmers Cooked Ham and Gouda Dutch Cheese and they were amazing!! The coffee i guess was ok but nothing special. The staff was good and helpful!

Good bakery. A broad variety of food and drinks. People working there are very polite, restpectful and nice; especially the girl who served me, Hester. Buena pastelería/panadería en el centro de Amsterdam, tienen de todo de bebidas y comidas. Los que te atienden son muy majos, atentos y educados. Si eres turista, tienen muy buen nivel de inglés.

Nos habíamos encontrado con sus panes especiales exclusivos en un restaurante con estrella Michelin en el sur de los Países Bajos y estábamos encantados de descubrir esta oda a las variedades de pan de primera calidad a la vuelta de la esquina de nuestra casa. Muy recomendable !
