A friendly man and delicious food, top-notch service. You get a full meal for a good price, which is quite rare these days.

I think they have a really great price-quality ratio. For €7.50, you can get a well-stocked box with one vegetable, one meat, and an egg. The eggplant is highly recommended!

The restaurant on Piet Heinstraat is open again (for the umpteenth time). They used to have those round cardboard boxes with one base, one vegetable, and one meat, and you could order some side dishes, like two satay skewers. The boxes have now become the standard plastic containers. The satay now comes in packs of four and is just as expensive as the small menu. And the satay isn't nearly as good as it used to be; it's tough and a bit overcooked, to say the least. The woman behind the counter was friendly but barely spoke Dutch. I understand the staff shortages, so I don't blame her.

Super delicious food tonight! Ordered a bowl of rames + satay and a slice of pandan cake for dessert. Good portion and tasty :) I will definitely come back to get it.

I got food and sponge cake last Sunday. I ate part of the sponge cake that same evening. Unfortunately I found out too late that the bottom was completely moldy. I tried to email and call, but I couldn't reach you. So I'll give you a review. Too bad and hopefully I'll get a response. This is really not on!!

I had a deeply disappointing experience here. The meals tasted like leftovers, reheated and lacking freshness. The cleanliness was substandard, with sticky surfaces and a generally unhygienic feel. What’s even more troubling is the atmosphere, which felt heavy and disorganized. There’s clearly something not quite right about how this place operates. AJ might want to reflect on what it means to truly run a respectful and responsible establishment, not just toward customers, but also the people working behind the scenes.

Always delicious and fresh meals at Warung Soeboer! Whether you take something home or enjoy it on the spot, the price-quality ratio is excellent. A must-visit for lovers of Indonesian cuisine.

After waiting for over an hour, my order was canceled. When I tried to call them, the number was out of service.

What happened to Soeboer? The food was awful! The nasi koening was downright gross and tasted like plastic. This was really the last time for me and my housemates.

Regularly making mistakes with your order when you come to pick it up. Forgot satay sauce, overcharged/undercharged, and made the same mistake again upon returning. Gado gado was €5 last week, €8 since yesterday. The girl tries to beat around the bush. I say, "Suddenly more expensive?" "Everything has gone up, sir." "I think it's a hefty increase. Everything has gone up, sir." Bye-bye.

Unfortunately, again no take-away food. Soeboer Piet Heinstraat was closed again. This is the umpteenth time. Very unfortunate. Was once a fantastic take-away restaurant with very good Indonesian food.

Had made a reservation. Upon arrival it said "closed" on the door. Tried it anyway and the door just opened. Told staff to remove "closed" sign. I won't, he said. If customers think I'm open, they'll order. And I'm out of food. Should I say no? He hadn't said anything too much, i.e. no more food. Never again. Don't think they made it to the New Year.

Lots of noodles and very little meat and vegetables. Food wasn't really tasty either. The gentleman who worked there was very friendly. My dish was supposed to come with a drink (via social deal), but I didn't receive it.

So for the beginning, I actually don’t understand the bad comments. We ate here despite the rating and it was amazing. Everything is cooked and you can choose between the different dishes. You can create your own plate. If you seek for authentic Indonesian food. Definitely give this a try. Highly recommend

This case isn't what it used to be. Unfriendly staff, half-full containers of food for full price. Poor supplies (all vegetables were gone) and the food was not tasty. Unfortunately, it used to be a great store…

We picked up 2 meals tonight. It was really great!! Incredibly hygienic and friendly service. From now on we will only order here.

The soup tasted of nothing. The boiled egg was poorly cooked and therefore half. 2 small pieces of chicken in the soup and the bean sprouts were brought out of the microwave because they forgot. The broth was very bland. The tap water was warm. The plastic dishes are cracked even though they have just been opened. Shame. The service was nice.

Vorige week een bestelling geplaatst via Thuisbezorgd.nl Helaas was het koud toen het bij me aankwam. Mocht de zelfde bestelling van de mensen van Waroeng Soeboer kostenloos opnieuw halen. De slechte bezorging was te danken aan de slechte bezorging door Thuisbezorgd.nl. Dankzij de klantvriendelijkheid van Warong Soeboer heb ik vanavond heerlijk gegeten. Ben zelf langsgegaan. Compliment voor dit bedrijf!

Toen de oude prijzen nog werden gehanteerd kwam ik hier wekelijks, maar nu de prijzen zijn verhoogd (twee keer zo duur voor dezelfde hoeveelheid) is het niet meer realistisch om hier te eten. Het bakje werd ook maar tot de helft gevuld, komt vrij gierig over. Als ik de andere reviews zo lees is denken meer mensen er zo over. Super jammer want het eten is echt top en het personeel ook heel vriendelijk. Ik snap dat er winst gemaakt moet worden, maar op deze manier verlies je klanten. Als jullie de eenpersoons boxen weer terugbrengen, en voor een schappelijke prijs (niet 15 euro), zullen er zeker weten weer meer klanten terugkomen (ik in ieder geval).

We gaan er geen eten meer halen, is stervensduur geworden en de porties minder.

Heerlijk eten super lief personeel. De een van de oudste in Den Haag.

Heerlijke winkel, met zoveel lekkernijen en ziet netjes uit. Bediening, heel vriendelijk.

Helaas sinds 1 september geen take-away boxen meer, alleen nog maar dure menu's.

Prijs is enorm omhoog gegaan. 15 euro voor een eenpersoons afhaal portie, waar die eerst 7,50 was. Wel lekker.

Heerlijk eten en goed betaalbaar. In onze week vakantie in Den Haag hier twee keer eten gehaald, dus dat zegt wel wat.. Echte aanrader!

This is a nice takeaway restaurant, it’s possible to eat on site, but I never did. The food is real Indonesian. You can order pre selected menu’s or compose a meal by your self. The quality of the food is excellent. I can recommend it.

Niet echt vies, niet maar zeker niet lekker. Veel olie en veel suiker.

Twee keer eten besteld en twee keer missen er gerechten. De tweede keer was het eten ook nog eens helemaal koud bij bezorging. Als je belt worden er vooral smoesjes bedacht en geen oplossing geboden waar ik tevreden mee was. De kwaliteit van het eten is wel goed, maar als het met zoveel gedoe gepaard gaat is het het niet waard.

Good comfort food. Sometimes the rice is a little bit undercooked or over warmed, but the dishes are tasty and good value.

Heerlijk eten. Altijd weer een feest om hier iets af te halen.

Heeeerlijk. Geen restaurant om een lange lunch of diner te doen of zo. Gewoon heerlijk een hap eten, of om mee te nemen. Uitmuntend. In 40 jaar nog nooit slecht gegeten bij de Soeboer(s) vestigingen! De Top!

Top! Niks meer dan top! Voor een snelle hap, voor lekker uitgebreid thuis te eten. De lekkerste Indo in Den Haag en omstreken!

Echt een hele goede ervaring. Heerlijk gegeten! Er was heel veel variatie in het eten en hele goede service. Ik raad het iedereen aan te gaan eten bij Waroeng Soeboer. Heel erg bedankt voor het lekkere eten en de goede ervaring!

Erg lekker indisch eten. Vooral gericht op afhalen of een snelle hap, geen sfeervolle plek om uitgebreid te dineren. Een kleine afhaalbak kost weinig en gegarandeerd wel volle buik met heerlijks.

Indonesian cuisine. Takeaway service. Menu choices are limited and it feels the dishes are a bit catered to the general public/taste. Don't expect to be surprised but enjoy the consistent quality.
