Delicious fresh sushi, gyoza prepared just the right way, tasty food, and lovely service. We have been enjoying this since my little one was 3 years old and still keep coming back. Highly recommended!

fantastically tasty and very fresh

The sushi was not fresh, tasted different in a way. It was falling apart. Too expensive for the this quality. I would not recommend it.

The beef sizzling platter was flavourful, and the tea was delicious. The nigiri was generally good, but the unagi nigiri had a lot of bones in it. The green tea ice cream tastes authentic, but the black sesame ice cream tasted synthetic/like it had a very low sesame content - and a bit unfresh.

Home delivery. I ordered well in advance and had it delivered a good hour and a half late. It still arrived half an hour late (so why agree on a delivery time?).

The food was delicious! There was so much choice, and the staff were very friendly.

We had a really delicious meal, top quality food, and the price was excellent.

I've been there twice in a month now. What a great sushi restaurant this is! Wonderfully peaceful, and the people who work there are polite. I recommend it to everyone!

Quality of the food was so-so, but left the 'all you can eat'a bit disappointed as they limit you to tiny portions that can only be ordered 5 at once. They give you 2.5 hours and despite the restaurant being empty when we were there, they took their time (20-25 mins) between rounds. It seems you are limited to 5 rounds, though this is not written in their 'rules' nor was it explained to us. Left the all you can eat still a bit hungry, for the price would have rather had 2 entrees elsewhere

I see no reason why not to visit this place. You don’t expect much from “all you can eat” concept but for 35€ you can’t complete the whole 5 set of 5 dishes. I am always checking display fridge of the place what they cook and it was looking good , they even offer Hokkigai. Some sushi just okey but the rest is well made and has a good taste. Rice was cooked good. I think chefs are native Japanese you can also judge it by the authentic curtains they have around and pleasant Japanese background music. Very pleasant service I have asked extra ginger and they brought huge plate no extra charge and lady writer was very attentive and kind. Moreover they have cheapest pint of beer in the whole area 4,5€ for 0,5 liters of tasty Bavaria Pilsner, as good as common Grolsch costing 7,5€ in local pubs. Take a table by the window and give a try to complete whole set ; )

Best restaurant in the area. Even if you don't like sushi! Delicious with small dishes and/or nasi goreng, rice, bami, etc. Fast service, food on the table quickly—perfect if you have to get back to an appointment. A very friendly young lady serving, who quickly resolved a confusion in the order. The other staff were also very friendly and hardworking. Above all, the food was fantastic and very reasonably priced. If I lived nearby, I'd definitely go here at least once a week. A top favorite!

When you think of sushi in Wageningen, you think of Watami. Absolutely everything is top-notch! Take it from the Sushi Man.

Went here together with a few people for the first time. The food was absolutely amazing! The meats are the best texture, and the flavors are absolutely the best they can be! Loved it! Desserts are amazing as well, and the whole menu has lots of variation! The place itself is not too big, so its nice and cozy! The employees are friendly, and very kind! Overall, its definitely worth going here! I really recommend trying the place out! It might have been my first time, but definitely not the last time!😄😄😄

Ate here at June 17th 2025. I would not recommend eating here, I went in here reasonably cautious because of the reviews that seemed pretty alright. But even though my expectations were low, they were still too high. All the food was extremely bland, it had great texture and was averagely tender, but extremely lacking in taste. The sauces are watery and don't stick to meat at all, and because of the lack in taste, the sauce would mask it. But it doesn't stick, so it makes for an extremely unpleasant dining experience. Restaurant is not clean, cobwebs and fly poop near the windows, sticky tables and stained plates. My 2 positives are that the icecream is alright, and that they serve my favorite beer, Asahi. Overal i would NOT recommend going here to eat. 2/5 | 4/10

Waited 2 hours for my order, barely reachable by phone and as soon as you finally get hold of them and confront them with the waiting time, they hang up the phone, unbelievable!

not the best restaurant experience unfortunately. It started with it being very cold. We see the 'all-you-can-eat' concept more often. Here you still have to place your order on paper for each round. And then wait until it is picked up. After 1.5 hours we could only order the 3rd round. No, it really works much better with iPads. All-you-can-eat is definitely not possible here in the 2.5 hours that you are allowed to be present. The first round of dishes (soup, rice) was downright cold. 1 of the dishes from round 1 did not come at all. Normally no problem, but we discovered when ordering for round 2 that some dishes had an additional price (which you don't see when you order from the menu; it is only marked on the order slip), and that dish of all things had not arrived... it is completely unclear why some dishes have an additional price. Seaweed for example. We actually spent a lot of time with the ordering process, waiting, complaining, etc. Too bad, because the food itself is excellent. I won't be back there again.

When we ate here it was fairly quiet in the restaurant, but we still had to wait a long time for our food and sometimes something during a round did not arrive at all. The girl who helped our table was not exactly hospitable, when you asked her something she first looked at you as if you were asking something very strange and then she walked away without saying anything. Furthermore, they put the dishes on the table without saying anything, especially with sushi it is sometimes useful to know which is which. You really don't have to come here for the service, if you order Japanese tea (in the picture it's a beautiful tea pot with tea leaves) you just get a bag of jasmine tea. The food, on the other hand, was very tasty, plenty of options, including vegetarian! Only the soup was a bit disappointing, it was cold and it was already so cold in the restaurant so I hoped to warm up a bit with the soup. Overall I had a nice meal, don't think I'll be back anytime soon as the service was terrible.

The food itself was really good, and one waitress was very friendly and genuinely trying to help, which we really appreciated. Unfortunately, the overall experience was frustrating and poorly handled. We were there for 4 hours, but in the first 2 hours and 45 minutes, we only received two rounds of food out of a total of four. Many of our dishes were forgotten, and I had to ask four times where our food was before anything was done. To make things worse, for the last hour and a half, they turned off the heating, leaving us to sit in the cold. By the time we finally got our food, staff members were already leaving, as if they had no interest in correcting their mistakes. While we truly appreciated the effort of the one kind waitress, the overall lack of organization, long wait times, and uncomfortable environment made this a very disappointing experience. It’s a shame because the food was great, but we won’t be returning after this.

Was een drama. We zaten aan ronde tafel, temperatuur binnen was koud. Eerste drankje half uur op gewacht. Bediening was matig, kon geen lachje af, of sprak weinig woorden. Bediening was aan het rennen, had geen controle over de zaak, het eten was zelf goed, maar je moest erg lang op zich wachten. Niet alle gerechten kwamen op tijd . Sommige kwamen zelfs dubbel. De lijsten werden ook niet teruggegeven. Ook storend was de telefoon die hard overging. Het was duidelijk, geen beste horeca ervaring.

Ordered 2 hours in advance and was still 30 min late & the order was incomplete. Called and the guy on the phone was nice and he said the remaining sushi would be sent. Happy with that, although that took another 40 mins, so we were finished eating. The delivery guy didn't even bother to say 'Hi/Good evening', not the first time he came , nor the second. I understood from the person at the phone that it was a busy night and a 'Hello, here's your order, sorry it's late' from the delivery guy would've resulted in a bit more understanding from our side. Now it's just average sushi and bad delivery so I don't think we'll order again.

Kwaliteit van het eten was goed, helaas was de keuken en bediening een drama. 2 uur gezeten en ronde 2 van de All you can eat was nog steeds niet volledig uitgeserveerd. Bovendien waren de warme gerechte koud en zelfs het drinken liet een half uur op zich wachten. Bediening was aan het rennen, personeel deed hun best maar met meer honger naar huis gegaan dan we van tevoren hadden. Nog wel gecompenseerd door voor een van ons een kindermenu af te schrijven i.p.v. de volledige prijs. Lief personeel, maar geen aanrader!!

The food may be tasty, but I will never order from here again! The food was delivered half an hour early, and no mobile phone calls were made upon delivery as requested. There was also sushi in the box, even though we had asked to leave it out due to an allergy!

Delicious food!!! Really delicious. The restaurant looks a bit outdated and has a bit of a barn appearance. That's too bad. But it's about the food and the excellent service!

I'll never come back here. The food is good, but they heavily used the crisis from last year to up their prices by 20% and now you get 60gr bowl of fried rice (worth maybe 80 cents) for 5,50 eur. It's ridiculous. They upped their prices by atleast 20%, and recuded the portions sometimes by half.

The food is tasty but they have recently reduced the portions of fried rice, bami, etc by 4-5 times while keeping the same price. I am feeling tricked and I will not be back as I don't think that paying almost 6 euros for three spoons of rice is adequate.

Waiting times were a bit high at peak hours but thats to be expected. Very good sushi and quality of service!

You quickly walk past it, as it is a bit hidden on the corner, but once inside the atmosphere is relaxed and you are helped quickly. The service was very friendly and fast and clearly did their best to help everyone. We did "all you can eat" and it was neatly explained to us how everything worked. The food was delicious, although we were stuffed around the 3rd round (you can do 5 rounds, with 5 dishes per person per round, excluding drinks). The ice cream also tasted good and for dessert I also highly recommend the sweet sesame balls. I would definitely recommend this restaurant!

Food all you can eat delicious, the sushi is very good and the other dishes (there is a lot of variety) are also very good. The price seems right to me because it is an "all you can eat". Drinks separately. The staff is nice and they take orders quickly. 100% recommended

Got served bad salmon sashimi that had a strong pungent smell. Ate a few pieces before realizing it had a bad taste. Not the first time I had experienced it so definitely not a one-time issue. Servers were nice so I didn't want to give them a hard time. But the chefs should really be careful what they put on the table.

Best place to have sushi in Wageningen, Ede or nearby, the food is very nice and service is fast. I recommend to go with some friends, pay the buffet and have as many dishes as you can. You will have 5 rounds were you can order 5 dishes per person in each of them. You will exit the place filled for sure.

Terrible experience me and my fiancèe wanted to have a nice sushi dinner but it turned out being a nightmare... The fish was old and had an ammonia smell, the old waitress was unpleasant and gave continous looks to us. The overall quality of the dishes were bad and even worse for fried foods. The location is very small and the music was not pleasant. Go there only if you really want to experience food poisoning.

Very bad experience and almost got sick, the vast majority of hot plates had a weird taste and felt old, noodles where WAY overcooked and the pieces of vegetables in the soup had no taste and where raw. The fried foods tasted like nothing and where impossible to digest. They served us salmon which was gone bad, it was slimy, pale and with ammonia smell. We let the waitress smell it and at the end she only cancelled to (small) water bottles from our tab. The other pieces of sushi where also not of the best quality, the only good thing was the rice. Waiters cannot speak English and also the woman who runs the restaurant is very rude and ignores clients. Do not ever go there.

Bad service. The old servant were quite rude and also very bad at communicating. The sushi was not good and waaaay overpriced. Long time to wait. Never coming back again.

The sushi wasn’t good, in one of my salmon bites there was a huge fish skin attached. My tuna pieces tasted like cat food with cinnamon?? I also noticed our plates were dirty. The place smelled really bad. The staff were bad communicators and yelled at us. We wanted separate orders but they wouldn’t let us?! It was WAY too expensive for what you get. Never coming back. (One star for the fortune cookie)

Nice restaurant with friendly staff. The service was okay, we were often not understood and the finishing touches still need to be completed when it comes to service. The food itself was tasty, although there were items that came out of a package and were not freshly made themselves.

Great food, great service. I only wish if they also had Thai & Vietnamese food.

Great place to dine with groups of 13 people. Just make sure you sit at table 16 (not 17 or 18). Then you will be served very quickly. Enjoy :)

The “all-you-can-eat” is very popular with the regional population and is also very popular as a food delivery service. But the quality is below average. The restaurant has the charm of a small town train station restaurant in the 80s. But the important thing is that the tuna is not of high quality in terms of taste. When it comes to meat dishes, you have to expect some tough beef. When it comes to sushi, I expect that the sushi chef can be observed at work and not do his work in silence.

We had to wait a very long time for the food, no further explanation. The wine only after dinner. For me, eating out is also good hospitality, that was not the case, especially if you are annoyed all evening because nothing has been properly arranged. Service is friendly!

What is good: food quality, polite staff. What is bad: at times too slow for take away. No covid social distancing at all on the premises.

In terms of hot dish it was very good. Personally, I didn't like sushi and got an expired palm beer.

Normal sushi, bad fish, average all included restaurant. Most of te dishes were just premade or bought on lidl lmao. Downstairs it says 22'50 full, once upstairs it goes to 25'50. Once we were finished they just made up that we had to order one drink or they'll charge us 2 euros, we asked for a 1'5€ glass of water and they charged us 2'5 euros instead and we had to drink it fast. And they were so slow serving that we couldnt go for the 5th round. It's not about the money, is about scamming your customers, it is the first time I go to an all-included restaurant and I go home hungry :(

Friendly waitress, but mediocre sushi and never had such bad “fried” rice with chicken. Rice was cooked and not even cooked through...

Five stars for the food. It takes a long time before they pick up your order for a new round.
