Very good food, a minor downside was that it was a bit noisy. But still, definitely recommended.

The best wok restaurant I know!! There is a huge selection, from tasty tenderloin steak to high-quality salmon sushi. Everything is truly delicious. Also lots of tasty desserts and unlimited soft drinks. And top-notch service; for example, they are very considerate of my grandma who uses a walker. They are very welcoming. This is highly recommended!!

We had a delicious meal here yesterday. We have been here several times before and we think the service is great. The staff is attentive to the customers and thanks to them, there is a cozy atmosphere. Yesterday we had a great laugh with everyone. I always have a chat with everyone myself, because I also love a good time, and that is possible here too. All the staff, including the owners, the waitresses, the cooks, and the cleaning staff, are all super nice. We will be back here again soon, and I recommend everyone come here for a nice meal. We dined with a group where someone had allergies, and this was taken into account very well! Something was even prepared specifically for her in another kitchen (due to the many allergies)! Great job! Moreover, every dish lists the allergen-causing ingredients.

Tasty food with fast service. Wide selection

Lots of choice. Fun children's language. Climbing and sliding. Prompt removal of cutlery and plates. This food fills you up faster than this food at home.... But it was delicious. A lot of noise. Friendly people at the reception.

Good food, though a bit pricey. Alcohol must be paid for separately. The decor is somewhat reminiscent of a company canteen. Friendly staff.

Overall, it is a nice place. The food is fresh and there is a wide selection. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. Unfortunately, the staff gave the impression that they were working against their will. It almost seemed as if they were in a labor camp. Despite that, I can certainly recommend this place. A family visit to this restaurant can be very enjoyable.

Great food, wide selection, all-you-can-eat principle. You have to create the atmosphere yourself. It has become significantly more expensive, though. There is air conditioning, but on a hot day it is unbearable!

After spending a day in the city of Deventer, and having often seen this All-You-Can-Eat restaurant while driving along the highway... I walked in here without a reservation. The entrance is a bit like walking into a low-rise office building, with chefs standing on a red carpet smoking in front of the entrance... this could really be better! Up the stairs (or elevator) you arrive in the restaurant. There was a nice young man standing there who spoke to us and, after payment, took us to a table. I have been to many All-You-Can-Eat restaurants, but I was pleasantly surprised by how replenished the food was, and especially how much choice there was here. The food was really tasty. Sat for 2 hours for €44 p.p. including non-alcoholic drinks. Definitely worth a repeat visit :)

For us, this was the first time at A1 in Deventer. 10 years ago, this might have been a frontrunner in the all-you-can-eat industry, but it isn't anymore. In principle, that doesn't matter, but the prices for this restaurant are too high. No beer or wine included. Plenty of choice, but low-quality sushi.

We had a delicious meal; it was my daughter's birthday recently, which was very nice. However, we did find it very hot and crowded (which is of course logical with an all-you-can-eat concept). The price is also very reasonable, and there is a lot of choice too. We will definitely be back.

We come here regularly for a bite to eat. Generally good and tasty food and friendly staff. It is a shame that they no longer have babi pangang among the Chinese dishes. This should definitely be brought back to the menu. At the entrance/exit, you sometimes have to walk through a line of smoking people (sometimes their own staff as well).

The food is really good, especially what is prepared on the spot. It is just the atmosphere that is really a bit lacking.

We were here for the first time and also the very last time; upon entering, they didn't ask if we had been here before, so you just have to figure out where everything is. At the wok, 4 containers of vegetables were completely empty, and the wok sauces were disappointing. And there was a large group of young people sitting near us who were very noisy.

Pay close attention! Behind the griddle, they often give your portion away to others, and that only makes you wait longer. Don't argue, though, because the chef will just give you a piece of his mind.

I have not been there myself, my wife has, the food was good but very busy. The parking space was a bit too small, it was completely full. I have the impression that it was a bit overbooked.

Beautiful, large restaurant with almost everything, and especially for children, who can have a great time. My favorite is still the wok! I recommend booking 2.5 hours in advance, especially on busier days, as there can be queues at the chefs!

A restaurant where you can eat all you want for a set price. Drinks are included, spirits are excluded. Food is always replenished promptly, and the staff is friendly.

We ate at A1 restaurant yesterday. The food was very good and delicious. Plenty of choices of international dishes. The service was excellent, and the restaurant looks very neat and clean. The atmosphere is also very relaxed. Definitely recommended for everyone, and we'll definitely be back.

The food we chose was excellent, with plenty of variety and something for everyone. It was relatively pricey. For an adult, you could get a good meal elsewhere, including a glass of wine, for €45. The restaurant isn't suitable for a romantic dinner or for engaging in deep conversation.

Delicious food with lots of choice

We've been there about five or six times now. The first few times were good, but it gradually got worse. Last Wednesday was our lowest point. The sushi was dried out. The fish all tasted the same and not good. The Chinese buffet was dried out and soggy. It's a shame, but unfortunately, we won't be back.

I've eaten here several times, and it's getting worse and worse. Last night (September 14th) I ate here with 10 people. Half of them got sick and were vomiting profusely. These people have one thing in common: they all ate steak... coincidentally! It's not the first time someone has gotten sick after eating here. I used to think it was a coincidence, but now I think, NEVER AGAIN.

We went there for dinner for a birthday and didn't know what to expect, but we had a wonderful meal. There was so much choice. There was plenty to eat.

We ate here once with the family – and that was the last time. Upon arrival, you receive a friendly welcome. After that, it stops. You have to pay separately for beer and wine, but beware: if you don't manage to pour a beer correctly in one go, you could easily pay twice. When we legitimately questioned this, we were snapped at by a particularly unfriendly and grumpy owner. Customer service is nowhere to be found here. We had a two-hour dinner reservation, but had to wait in line for 30 minutes for a piece of fish. The rest of the food was simply mediocre. For these prices, you really should expect more. Our advice: skip this place and choose a restaurant where service, quality, and respect for the customer are a given.

Great restaurant; my kids love it. I'm not a huge fan of the concept myself. The food they serve is good and plentiful. You largely have to provide the service yourself; that's the concept. Some dishes are prepared live on the spot, while others are in containers ready to be scooped. People come here mainly to eat a lot, not to socialize, which is practically impossible due to the loud noise from other diners.

A really good restaurant. Lots of choices, something for everyone. The meat was good, not tough like at most wok restaurants. The play area is fun for older children; little ones get run over. There are also two flights of stairs down, so no supervision was a bad idea.

The food was pretty good. We came here specifically because, according to the website, they served Coca-Cola, which they had done before. Even the waiter was still wearing a Coca-Cola shirt. Unfortunately, they had recently switched to Pepsi, which was a bit of a disappointment. (@Cheap is expensive…) We also noticed that the entrance was very dirty: cigarette butts were everywhere. Not exactly a warm welcome. However, there was a nice play area for the children.

I was there with my family a few weeks ago. There were three of us, and we paid €130. I wonder if it's worth it? We used to go there regularly, and the food was always delicious, but the taste and selection have declined. We all remembered the food being much better. The drinks weren't exactly great either; everything was the same, and there wasn't much choice. But then we got a shock at the chocolate fountain: it was completely lumpy and didn't flow properly. The chocolate didn't taste good either.

Just not my thing, but this is personal. I saw people enjoying it immensely.

We didn't think there was much choice and not much innovation. Long wait at the grill. Quality of food is good. Service is neat upon arrival but during the meal they come through the corridors with a serving trolley to clear tables... This makes it seem like a real food factory. There is a spacious play area for the children, which was cooler and quieter in terms of noise than in the dining area. We won't be coming here a second time.

Second time eating. First time was reasonably okay, this time, second chance, absolutely not okay. Had a lot of trouble in the evening and night from the food. No third time. All the meat was very greasy, fish didn't seem too fresh anymore. Ice cream that was melting in the freezer... And in retrospect it is terribly expensive for the offer they have and what they do have is of substandard quality. We regularly took something and didn't eat it because it just wasn't good. Quite a lot of food waste too. On top of that, the staff was really messing around with each other. The pizza chef who is busy splashing water, then helping guests with orders. The takeaway staff who constantly gather around our table to chat and gossip about the day.. Of course, buffet restaurants are just 'feeding sheds', so we don't blame anything when it comes to other guests or that there is a certain atmosphere. But if you get it right, you'll walk away with a full belly and you've eaten well and you've been well received as a guest. Not with a stomach ache, irritations and an empty wallet for which you could have done a lot of other nicer things. Even 120 euros for 2 adults and a child. Well...

Great food. Expensive compared to other all you can eat restaurants. Personally I found it a bit of a boring restaurant. The steak and tenderloin were both overcooked, I arrived at the table behind and didn't feel like standing in the long line. For kids it was great fun with a play area and movie room.

They had put the signs wrong, what was supposed to be tenderloin was pork and said something about it, just ignored you, worst service I have ever seen, yuck yuck, ate pork while we are not allowed to eat that

We had dinner there yesterday, everything was dirty, and cutlery and glasses, plates were not washed properly and food was not fresh, I threw up all night. I have food poisoning. Also the staff who clean up do not work hygienically at all. I would not recommend this restaurant, they need to review the quality. If I still feel this sick today, I will go to hospital. Very bad.

I love this! Suits that you feel like and a very wide range. They also take into account any allergies. And there is a lift if you have difficulty walking.

Even though it was an all-you-can-eat option, each dish was hand-picked and each one was delicious! The stir-fried Chinese vegetables, sautéed scallops, and salmon sashimi were especially delicious. The desserts were plentiful and the kids had a lot of fun too! It's not cheap, but I think there are some parties to go to!

Food was neither good nor bad. Service you pay a lot of money, you sit down and pick up your own food and drinks. Atmosphere: sitting crammed into fixed benches, so the four of you have to get up for each other every time because one of them goes to get food or comes back to the table. For alcoholic drinks you will receive a pass which you must top up in advance.

Top business, Drove from Breda to Deventer and then you have to eat. Well we knew! All products we tasted tasted great! Friendly staff. Fast processing from the chefs. Nice place, clean and spacious. The products are freshly replenished on time! Compliments and definitely keep it up. If we come back to the area, we will definitely find the place to dine again!

Best all you can eat anywhere I've been. Even after many years of being open, it still remains good, both in terms of food and atmosphere. We like to come there. Even the ready-made buffet is recommended.

Compared to the other A1’s I have been to, this one has been a really amazing experience. The sushi was delicious and the fish was made really well. They also have some Indian dishes available, which was a nice change for once. I do wish they had some more options at the chocolate fountain, like strawberries and bananas + two of three fountains did not work.

In general the taste was nice, a bit dry, but we were one of the first so I suspect it had been there for a while. Tapping beer yourself is a disaster, it is almost impossible to get a properly tapped beer out.

Always a pleasure to eat here. The choice of so many different and tasty dishes makes it well varied. I'm a big fan of the Italian corner myself. The fact that the children can play one floor lower is also great.

You don't have to go for the atmosphere, it's an echoing (eating) barn. The quality of the food was honestly far above expectations. The service, if they understood you, was very friendly. But the concept... you have to love it! For most people, what really matters is filling yourself up in the shortest amount of time. It's that I had to go, otherwise I would have stayed at home.

What a bad restaurant. We were here yesterday and people looked at me as a woman for a long time, which made me feel very uncomfortable and so did my husband, we were there with our children, all the chefs looked at and even talked. We had also been there for less than 10 minutes (I had also fallen there) and finally said something about it to those chefs there! but nothing was done about this, no apology or money back and very customer unfriendly!!!! I advise everyone not to eat here

Sounds very nice on the website, but most departments were disappointing. Especially the cold buffet and sushi choice. There was little special sushi and the Indian cuisine was not really noticeable. Spare ribs and spring rolls tough and dry. No fresh fruit but canned. In the end I had a somewhat good meal with wok and teppanyaki. But even the wok selection was less than I am used to at these types of restaurants. The only plus was the dessert buffet. Wouldn't go here a second time.

A1 is located on an industrial estate. The welcome was not very pleasant. The food was decent but way too expensive for that quality.

Nice idea from the owner that the tip jar is used for the prepaid alcohol cards. If there is anything left on the menu, it will certainly be money well spent.
