Wok Express in Rotterdam Centrum

Heerlijk eten! Goede service! Schoon toilet! De telo was crispy en de sambal goed. De prijzen vallen mee, centrale lokatie vlakbij de lijnbaan.

The noodles are from the ready one! They didn't make it here on place!!

Instead of noodles, they served rice, and then just plain noodles were served on top. The food just didn't taste good, so that was my last visit.

DO NOT take Beef here. You can easily chew on it for an hour, the quality is that bad. The vegetables and sauce are tasty. I recommend chicken. I got a new portion, still tough beef and you can't get rid of some pieces in your mouth. This is not about you as a customer, but about quantity. They think "mass is cash register" and do not care about complaints about the beef. As long as customers keep buying, they don't care about quality. The amounts are also far too high in relation to the quality. (except the chicken) The chicken is very tasty, so it is recommended.

Waste of your money. This is not nasi/chicken and neither are the sandwiches.

Not worth for your money. Really too expensive for what you get. Paid 5/6 euros per Surinamese sandwich. (Chicken curry, shrimp and pork). Sandwich was more empty than filled. For that price I literally got 5 shrimps on my bread and when I showed this to an employee she said it was normal and shrimps are expensive 🤐

Food was decent, the build your bowl is not too good but the sandwiches are really good. The service tho is terrible, the ladies at the front desk are very rude. I asked for the wifi because i was eating inside and bought a whole meal and she said no like I asked something really bad.

This is my first time here... I must honestly admit that no one else in Rotterdam would beat a well-known business on the new Sranang internal road (real Rotterdammers know them). But Wok Express has played on my taste buds. So good… curry chicken sandwich, shrimp sandwich and so on. Recommended 😉

I ALWAYS come back here with my mother for wok when we are in Rotterdam. She usually gets beef wok with a spicy sauce and I get sweet and sour with chicken. Very tasty, good service and in a good location in the city.

Here you can eat an excellent, well-filled and tasty saoto. You eat out of plastic, so it doesn't look very nice, but it doesn't taste any less.

Ok I'm portuguese and I came here with my bf. The portion sizes for us was too big but you eat really well here. If you are lost in rotterdam and don't know where to eat, this is an appropriate place for that.

Business is run by very unfriendly people. I wanted to go to the toilet first and then I wanted to order something. I was brutally thrown out WITH a stick literally thrown in my face. I kindly reminded them that they must serve people in a 'customer-friendly' manner. Definitely don't come here folks. Enough decent restaurants where customer friendliness is normal and where you can eat. 0/10

At that time, I saw that the seats next to me were all full, so I found a seat near the middle. The ladies working there are super rude and ignorant. Fix your attitudes!

I was shocked by what I saw there. A couple who were feeding their baby were approached about water in the toilet, an argument was taking place. Gosh, no more respect for a baby that needed to be fed! These people still ate food there, they were not there for free to feed their child. Terrible!

El servicio al cliente fue terrible. Pagamos con mastercard y el sistema aprobado. Incluso recibimos el recibo, pero no les importó y querían que pagáramos de nuevo. This is an unhygienic, poor and not child-friendly tent. Today they refused to allow a 6 year old boy to go to the toilet. Disinterested “manager” said if he really has to, you have to pay €1, otherwise you have to leave. So for customer friendliness and service a big fat zero!

Got a takeaway, which had 3 thick black hairs in it. Wasted money!

Second time picked up and second time my order is incorrect. Both times I ordered Nasi with chicken. The first time I got Tjaumin with pork and the second time I got white dry rice without flavor

A very nice place to eat. Good service, and very nice staff. The food here is always of consistent quality; very nice and reliable. Highly recommended for lunch or quick dinner.

Monday evening, 🕘 o'clock, stopover on the way to, at Chinese-Surinamese deli Wokexpress for a “wokexpress” chefs special = tjaumin, soy-infused, onions and chasiew pieces while my Honduran Flor de Copan Rothschild takes another moment of rest.

Nasty Roti Chicken Curry with a lot of sugar/salt added! 😩 After a long time we ate at the Wok Expres again. My daughter and I ordered the Telo with bakkeljauw and a Chicken/Shaw Chiew sandwich. This was good 👍🏽 the Telo is indeed a great one! The way it should taste and freshly prepared. I had a meal of Roti with chicken and I wanted to try it out in this restaurant. Even though I was terribly hungry and hadn't eaten since early morning, I ordered a roti chicken curry. I had roti with chicken pieces (on the bone), beans and a curry egg + roti plate with pepper (Madamme Jeannette in a small bowl). We had shared everything together...the Rotie Chicken Curry is beyond PRINT...the album is otherwise fine. Lots of large pieces of potato. Not really a lot of vegetables and it certainly isn't long beans! The egg was also fine, the chicken pieces (3 pieces) were also ok. But the curry gravy has a special taste, it contains a lot of sugar and, in my opinion, too much salt! I was very thirsty and drank a lot of water when I got home. I just felt sick it was so sweet I have never eaten curry chicken that was so sweet? This is not how it should be. I didn't eat it all, my daughter had exactly the same thing, it has a special taste? Usually if I can't finish my plate I take the food with me but this was definitely not worth taking home! The roti chicken curry dish is also served in a rotten container, making it difficult to eat from the 2-compartment container?! I confronted the lady behind the counter with the fact that there is sugar (a lot of it) in the sauce and that this should not be the case? They only come from the kitchen and if you don't want sugar you have to let us know at the counter when you order! Sugar does not belong in your dish and certainly not in Roti Chicken Curry. The lady at the counter was not happy with the feedback at all and you should listen to your customers. Wasn't open to this at all! I also thought that was rude and made a comment about eating almost everything, right? I didn't ask for a refund at all, but that she should listen to what I have to say about the food! So I don't have to eat roti chicken curry in the future and I'd better stick to the Chinese dishes that they are a specialist in or a sandwich like Telo with bakeljauw!!!!!

I have to check almost every order to see if I got what I paid for. I received them again for what I ordered. I can't go there now because of work and they are not available by phone.

The seats were comfy. The food was not traditional Chinese flavour (I'm Chinese). The price was a bit too high relative to the quality of the food. I did not like the sweet and sour shrimps. The kung po beef was fine. But I would not eat there again.

Food wasn't super special and the portions were too big. I didn't like the sweet and spicy flavor. Curry was pretty good though. The noodles were a bit over-cooked and the rice was cold.

The food tastes great, just nice for a quick snack. A large portion and lots of vegetables. Order was ready quickly by nice people and you can sit down to eat your food or take it with you.

Younger girl with thick black glasses at the cash register was unfriendly, you better not let her deal with customers and put her somewhere at the back of the kitchen, you grumpy person! What rude people and racist, was my second time and last time. Found hair in the noodles and the employee said it was my hair even though I was wearing a headscarf and blamed me!!!

Don’t be fooled by the simple exterior of this little place. The steaming hot bowls of freshly cooked food are absolutely fabulous. Extremely good price and plentiful. I could hardly finish my noodles and the veg was cooked just right. Lots of combinations and choice for a pit stop after shopping or mid day fuel up. It was right across from our hotel so really convenient.

It’s a fast food Chinese place, with some diversity in other cuisines, like Japanese and Suriname. Many people complained in the comments about the amount of meet, but my portion had plenty of beef, I was stuffed after I finished with the Wok. Place looked empty, and there was a lot of people there. Fast service, and fast delivery.

Leuke sfeer, heel snel (terwijl er best veel mensen waren) en natuurlijk heel lekker eten ❤️

Lekker om even snel een aziatische lunch te pakken on the go. Bediening is voor een snelle levering maar niet voor een persoonlijke benadering of contact. Redelijk sfeerloos.

My go to spot for cheap sandwiches. Love the broodje zoutvlees and broodje garnalen. Always get it with extra sambal. Lady at the counter is always grumpy though, but I don't care about that much with a take-away restaurant

1 van de lekkerste broodje kipkerrie, kom hier al jaren. Ook vaak een wok besteld, smaakt zeker oké. Ik heb verder geen slechte ervaringen met personeel gehad.

Lekker (en veel) eten voor een heel vriendelijke prijs. We wilden even een snelle hap, maar dit werd ook nog een smakelijke hap. Royale porties, zeker de Moksi Meti. Meer dan ik op kon.

Vraiment génial! J'y suis allée plusieurs fois et c'était toujours très bon. Le riz est bien cuit et la sauce du riz très bonne également! 😊 Je prends toujours la sauce aigre-douce et je ne suis jamais déçue! 😁 Le poulet est tendre et bien cuit, les légumes croquants, c'est vraiment bon. J'y vais à chaque fois que je vais à Rotterdam!

Aardige hap voor een relaxte prijs. De char sieuw met bami is heerlijk, roti ook erg smakelijk .. sfeer lijkt een beetje op die van mac niks mis mee alleen niks bijzonders ..

Ordered WanTan (Won Ton) soup. Broth was absolutely tasteless, no flavor, no seasoning just hot water. Can't commented on the other dishes, but don't order the WanTan.
