Delicious food, cozy and friendly atmosphere!

We try out many all-you-can-eat/wok restaurants. This particular wok used to be good, but is now subpar. The people aren't very friendly, the food is clearly from the day before, the quality is poor, and the wok sauces taste stale and stale. The tables you eat at aren't great either. If you know of a better option in the area, go there.

Upon entering, the restaurant looks cozy and warm. The food was delicious, fresh, and of good quality. The staff was polite and friendly and served us politely at our table. The ample parking next to the restaurant is convenient. We would love to return to this restaurant.

It was cold inside, and friends were eating with their coats on. Probably a broken heater? But we were gone within an hour; it was unbearable. Too bad, usually everything's fine.

We had an excellent meal here two years ago, so now we're in the area, we thought we'd give it another try. The food was delicious, and the staff was friendly. Of course, it's not as extensive as in places like Assen, but it doesn't feel like a dumping ground either. Fantastic!

Delicious food, not too big but super tasty, one of the best all you can eat

We got takeout from here tonight. The mini spring rolls and koe loe kai were fried way too long, making them taste terribly burnt. The chicken soup and nasi were fine! But we won't be back.

We love coming here! The food is delicious, everything is always well stocked, and if you run out of something and let us know, it's quickly replenished. Fantastic!

Had a delicious meal with friends.

Today (03-08-25) I decided to dine out for a change instead of picking it up. With pickup, the food is always good, nine times out of ten. The order is complete, the quantity is more than sufficient, and not to mention, it's nice and hot! There were occasional issues, but they were resolved with just one phone call. Good service so far. Today I ate at the restaurant, or at least I tried. I had soup as a starter, which was fine. Then, while looking at the wok in the refrigerated display case, I smelled something smelly. (I had no idea what it was at the time; I assumed it was from one of the fish tanks.) I had some beef tenderloin stir-fried, and when I was serving it from the pan to my plate, I smelled something strange again. At the table, taking another good look at my plate, I noticed that the meat looked slimy (and there was no gon bao sauce).... I did try a small piece of meat, and what I suspected was true. The meat was spoiled, smelly, and slimy/snotty! I told the owner that the meat was spoiled, "she'd come take a look." My appetite was instantly gone. The owner didn't respond to this further, and the same container of meat was still stinking in the refrigerated display case!! Shortly after, we left and were given the cold shoulder! Eating here now costs €39.75 per person...😧 (on weekends) absolutely outrageous. The selection simply isn't enough to justify charging such a price.

Wat weer jammer. Behalve dat de prijs voor het bezoek weer omhoog is gegaan was het personeel nukkig en onsympathiek als vanouds. En wéér halflege en lauwe gerechten in de bakken. Speciaal biertje bestellen niet mogelijk. Maar wél menuhouders van een bekende Belgische brouwerij op alle tafels. Als je wat ophaalt verzuipt de loempia in een zwembad met vettigheid. Slecht, slecht, slecht. Klap op de vuurpijl: voedselvergiftiging opgelopen. Kwamen er al jaren - maar ‘t is klaar nu.

Vaak geweest, maar het wordt steeds slechter, bakken van het lopend buffer nagenoeg leeg, word niet of nauwelijks aangevuld. wij hadden om 19.00 uur greserveerd, men begon tijdens ons eten al met schoonmaken van het restaurant. Er stond een meneer te wachten bij de grill, maar de chagarijnige kok was eerst even bezig de vloer te schrobben met een emmer sop. 40 euro pp, ik denk niet dat ik daar nog weer naar toe ga, jammer van de avond, super ongezellig op deze manier!!

The food was fine, but I found the choice a bit limited and the fries and potato wedges were not recommended.

With 2 adults and a child. Online it said on various sites €21.80 p.p..... turned out to be €36.75 p.p.... €98 in total.... so we were already shocked by the price -which had to be paid in advance- and all 3 of us had never eaten so little, because it was just really not tasty :(. All 3 had stomach ache for a few days....

It's a shame that no distinction is made for people who want to keep meat and fish strictly separated for religious or principled reasons. Next time we will probably choose another place

Word steeds slechter heb het wel beter ervaren en de soep was zeer slecht koud en bedorven 2 zijn er erg ziek van geweest kom er niet weer

The choice is huge... unfortunately you can't indicate how well done or not you want your steak... Or do those people eat elsewhere? Dishes taste good... actually recommended

The food is okay for a wok. 2x soup, cold starters, hot snacks, etc. Wide choice on the teppanyaki. But for the price you can expect a little more. Half boiled eggs with ketchup is not restaurant food... The whole setting is mediocre. The corona stickers regarding 1.5 meters distance and walking arrows are still on the floor. We are now in 2025 and no longer in 2020/2021. Time to remove these stickers and mop the floor.

We went yesterday, I found the variety disappointing, I am a big meat lover, including spareribs, but I certainly found them unpalatable, they have 2 baking trays for freshly baked meat but only 1 was on and only 1 person was baking while you think that you should be able to have full occupancy at Christmas, the reception was good and friendly, but the employees seemed very unmotivated, as if it was a matter of having to but they would rather have stayed at home..., saw at 1 table that the plates were gone right under their noses pulled, heard from a buddy of ours that the salmon must have been rock hard! This was my first time here, but you won't see me there again anytime soon, and I have visited many all-in restaurants myself... no, they don't get more than 3 stars

At first glance it looks neat and tidy. I picked up food there. The food was also decent and once you placed the order they repeat it. In short, very neat.

Got the monthly menu, lots of it and very tasty. If you are with 4 people, a monthly menu for 2-3 people is more than enough. I ordered 2 monthly menus and even the neighbors joined us for dinner. Recommended; order tomato soup 😉

Delicious food and affordable, something for everyone, including drinks

Once again picked up something; the food is very good, that's why it's always busy, I'll take some pictures of the layout after the renovation Update Oct 2024 I ate there again for a long time. The food was delicious, lots of choice and plenty of it. You actually want to eat more, but eventually you just can't eat anymore 😉

Nice meal. Good offer. Pleasantly busy. Recommended!!! Update: We have been several times now and it remains a pleasure to eat here. We keep coming back.

Although it is of course a bit of a disgusting concept that all you can eat, eating to the pain threshold, you can also eat really tasty food. There are some very good chefs and the staff is friendly and professional.

Lately we often take food away from here. It's the best Chinese I know and they're not expensive at all. Very tasty and ready very quickly.

The same standard buffet for years, little variety and new

Ordered the monthly menu with Chinese noodles and Java noodles (not on the menu but very tasty.) Excellent meal. I think it could be just a little bit fuller in taste.

The evening of the football so very quiet and peaceful

Friendly welcome, employees did not seem very motivated, but were friendly. Food is limited and not very special. We were asked if we wanted to eat hot food, because I think we already had dessert, but we did not want hot food anymore. We still had about 30 minutes left, but we couldn't get a second dessert because it was also closed.

The nasi and noodles in the wok were dried out, making them hard and unedible.

I unfortunately have to give it a 3 star rating. The food is good and plentiful. But when the price of gas went up due to the war, this restaurant raised their prices enormously and they never came back down. So this is not entirely correct, with the result that it has become quieter and it is now a matter of time before the quality drops. Very sorry.

Increasingly expensive, little choice but it tastes good

Yes, the food is always good there. However, there has been a huge price increase. And I think it has become too expensive... Or there should be more choice and/or more variety... For example, more Indian dishes. . Drinks are included in the price. But as a driver of a car with a child in it, that doesn't help me much. Staff can seem a bit surly (if you don't come there often). But are friendly... Pick up is always fine.. Always tasty Always enough And a better price-quality ratio.

I find it mediocre, not very clean and mediocre choice, meat is not of very good quality and not enough fresh food is added, it sits there for a while and is lukewarm or greasy. The staff is also not very friendly and the sauces you order are not correct. Furthermore, meat and fish are not prepared separately, this is not bad, but I have had better products. I can also buy what it says at the supermarket, such as sauce.

Food was good, nothing to complain about, yes a bit little choice compared to other woks. Furthermore, the restaurant is a bit lacking in atmosphere, the lights are way too bright, and you don't sit on top of each other, it's a bit cramped.

We ordered our Christmas dinner here 2 years ago and it was excellent. We have eaten here a few times in recent years. Everything good, tidy including the very correct service, we will definitely come back

Site klopt niet ook de tarieven mbt kerst zeer slecht, belden kregen te horen 38 incl alles komen we daar was het 45 euro pp, was geen discussie mogelijk vaste prijs op bon stond kerst lunch terwijl wij na 18.00 kwamen, geen deal kunnen maken en geld terug kennen ze niet, bij het wokken en gril 1 persoon ook nog wat oudere mannen, was tweede kerstdag ook niet super druk en nog lang wachten, eigenaresse wil alleen horen wat ze wil horen, voor mij nooit weer, ga liever voor de service en eten ergens anders wokken, ben overal al geweest maar dit was echt de slechtste van allemaal voor de mensen die er heen gaan veel plezier Dummy

Always tasty, but has become expensive

Nice meal. It was busy, but fortunately this was resolved neatly by deploying extra help with the grill plate.

Good service and good atmosphere, all you can eat wok restaurant, what more could you want? :)

We waren met een groep van 10 personen. Ik vond de tafel te klein. We zaten erg krap. Het aanbod van het buffet vind ik minimaal.

Ik vind wel dat het ontzettend duur is geworden.

De prijzen rijzen hier de pan uit , voor een gezin met een normaal loon is het niet meer te betalen. Nog niet zolang geleden €25- NU €35,- PP Soms half uur in de rij staan voor de één bakplaat.

Super lekker en vers eten. En alle eten wat warm hoort te zijn, was ook echt warm en niet van dat lauw warm wat je soms hebt. Eten werd regelmatig bijgevuld en alles was echt wel vers en voldoende keuze. Wij komen graag nog eens terug.

Lekker gegeten en het was gezellig

Maandmenu afgehaald 2 personen was meer dan genoeg voor 4, vriendelijk personeel, en snelle service.

Kwamen hier altijd met plezier. Maar in 3 maanden tijd van €96 naar €166 moeten betalen, dat vind ik echt niet kunnen. We keken de mevrouw aan, dat er iets niet klopte... Maar ze was er van overtuigd dat dit bedrag klopte.... Dus uit principe maar weer omgedraaid. Heel jammer..

Prima eten, maar verwacht geen hoogstaande gerechten met bijzondere smaken.

Voor vegetariërs is dit restaurant volkomen ongeschikt. Verder is het wat je van een "all you can eat" kunt verwachten. De groenten zijn nog wel het vermelden waard, die zijn van prima kwaliteit met lekkere luxe dingen er tussen zoals Chinese paksoi, peultjes en shitake.

Beste wokrestaurant in de buurt

Deze plek is geschikt voor mensen die niet kunnen ruiken en geen smaak hebben de hele avond met de kinderen in de stank van urine gezeten, het varkensvlees is vlees van een beer en niet te eten hoe goedkoop wil je doen voor ons nooit geen Wok Golden City in Veendam meer.

Prachtig restaurant maar zoek wel je goede tijd uit bijv. na 19.00 want kan eerder erg druk zijn op bepaalde dagen

Hallo eigenaar en het personeel, was er vandaag geweest met de familie en het eten was super lekker en het personeel was heel attent en vriendelijk , ik zou heel graag nog een keer terug komen 5 sterren 👌🏻.

Prima wokrestaurant, niks aan toe te voegen

Ik en mijn vriend zijn hier zondag avond (07-05) wezen eten. Het eten was erg lekker alleen de werknemers die de borden en de glazen kwamen ophalen waren erg jong had ik het idee en daar is niks mee natuurlijk. Ik vond het alleen niet netjes dat het personeel bij de vriendengroep ging zitten eten en erg veel lawaai hadden. Mijn vriend en ik hebben verder erg lekker gegeten alleen erg geïrriteerd helaas.

Heerlijk eten voor een normale prijs, vriendelijke medewerkers en een mooi restaurant. Helemaal top!

We bestellen hier al jaren 'Chinees' en hebben ook geregeld in het restaurant gegeten. Het is ALTIJD heerlijk! Heerlijke satésaus, ajam pamgang, loempia's, ajam roedjak etc. Elders in het land of in de buurt ook weleens besteld tijdens vakantie, bah, dat valt vies tegen. Ik zou het liefst 10 sterren geven!

Eten is perfect zeker een aanrader

Het eten was perfect.Waren op donderdag niet erg druk. Er was keuzes genoeg .Drinken bij de prijs in .Het was goed vertoeven daar.Komen zeker er een keer weer.En gratis parkeren voor het restaurant.

1e paasdag heerlijk gegeten met 8 volwassenen en 6 kinderen. Ruime keuze. Leuk personeel. Voldoende parkeergelegenheid.

De smaak van het eten is prima, voldoende afwisseling, goede presentatie. Toch maar 1 ster. Dat is vanwege het chagrijnige personeel, vooral van de eigenaresse zelf. Ik kom er al jaren, maar nog nooit 1 glimlach van haar gezien. Vooral met een groep ben je toch een behoorlijk bedrag kwijt, dan verwacht ik ook een gezellig uitje. Verder hebben we nu al meerdere keren zo'n langdurige maagpijn gekregen van het eten, dat we er nu niet weer naartoe gaan.

Op maandag Om 19:30 aangekomen. Allervriendelijkste ontvangst:U kunt maar tot 21:30 eten en 22:00 sluiten wij. Alle bakken zo goed als leeg. Aangebrande mihoen en bami. Opgedroogde gerechten. Geen stokbrood en kruidenboter. Nagevraagd aan ober; NEE dat is op. Later eigenaar gevraagd: Ja hoor ik vul het aan. Bij Gril onhygiënische bereiding. Met een en dezelfde tang wordt rauwe kip/vlees en vis vastgepakt. En ook het bereide product word hiermee op je bord gelegd. Helemaal niet druk. Maar borden worden slecht opgeruimd. Dit was de laatste keer !

Kwam hier regelmatig is de laatste keer geweest zeer onvriendelijk personeel. Die je de tent uit wil jagen als het later op de avond wordt . Ze stoppen gewoon met eten berijden en gaan alvast je tafel afruimen . Ze hebben het te goed want de zaak zit toch wel vol ondanks dat de prijs va wokken in een paar jaar met 70 procent gestegen is . Ik kom hier nooit weer
